literally the best experience I’ve ever had at a primary care office, Nurse Joyce was incredibly sweet and super informative about anything and everything I could think of (and even things I wouldn’t have thought of at all!). Amazing first experience. I was desperate to find an efficient and caring primary care provider in the neighborhood and Dr. Joyce Santos is an absolutely wonderful person and a really good listener of my concerns. I went to see Joyce for my chronic allergies and she was very kind and thorough with my exam. She recommended a kenalog shot to help with my allergies. I have to say, I wish I knew about it sooner, I will be going back regularly to get my shot. I would recommend Joyce and the rest of the team, they’re great!

First time going yesterday, feelings was kind of hurt because my insurance was out of network 😩. But the receptionist at the front desk was really nice and explained, everything in detail to me. In the meantime I'm going to work on switching my insurance because I finally found someone and I would love to get all my care taken care of here, instead of bouncing around from different doctors offices, so convenient for me especially because I live right down the street........ok ok UPDATE MARCH 26TH, 2026....LETS JUST SAY I WAS ABLE TO GET A SAME DAY APPT AND LEAVING THE OFFICE NOW, LETS START WITH ESSENCE AND SCOTT FRONT DESK, VERY POLITE, ATTENTIVE AND MADE MY FAST 5 MIN WAIT AWESOME KUDOS TO YOU BOTH, NOW AS FOR MY NURSE PRACTITIONER JOYCE, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LISTEN TO MY HEALTH CONCERNS AND READING MY CHARTS UP ON ME AND KNOWING MY PAST DRS AND MEDICATIONS I WAS ON AND OR CURRENTLY TAKING. As a new patient, everyone who I interacted with the moment I walked in were super friendly and helpful. The office/facility has a nice appearance and everything is clean and neat. The doctor Joyce took her time to answer all of my questions and concerns and didn’t make me feel rushed like most doctors do. Went in with my mom and was greeted by our very kind Dr. Joyce along with Scott and the rest of the team. Clinic is brand new, clean and the kind of vibe you want to be treated in. Even got a free tour before we left.

Really glad a new PDS medical office near my home. Essence, Marissa, and the NP Joyce were all very friendly and attentive. Felt very cared for and the MyChart technology makes scheduling, check-in, labs, and prescriptions so much easier than having to do everything by phone call. Everyone here was so attentive, knowledgeable, and simply great! Joyce takes the time to hear my concerns and discusses them with me in such a comfortable way. Marissa took my vitals and calmed me down (I have white coat syndrome lol) with such a natural ease, it’s like I’ve known her for years.
I highly recommend this office! The best part, they have a dental office attached so I can do a one stop shop for all my healthcare needs!

My 1st lady and I went in for new patient exams. The front desk staff were super friendly, super cool! Felt relaxed and welcome in the lobby under the watch of Host Essence. Our MA was Marissa. Definitely felt in good hands. She was detailed and patient and we did not feel rushed like past experiences. Our new NP Joyce was enthusiastic and happy to oversee our health needs.
