I have been coming to this practice for 10 years, and they have consistently provided exceptional care for my children. Juggling a busy schedule is never an issue here because the team always goes out of their way to accommodate us. A huge thank you to Dr. Nana Kufuor and the entire friendly, welcoming staff for always making every visit a great experience!

I Met Dr. Kufor at Summerlin Hospital and was very impressed with how he handled the baby coming from a Doctor in the family my husband and I instantly knew he was a good doctor he knows what to look for and how to care for your child. He has good bedside manner and very knowledgeable. As a first mom Dr. Kufor and his staff respected my parenting decisions and I am very grateful. The staff has always been kind and quick on getting me in and out. My child is thriving and I have full confidence in Dr. Kufor. I absolutely love that he doesn’t put fear onto parents when we mention our concerns.

Poor quality. Right off the bat, I was rushed for paperwork, not with the receptionist but the other nurse. Due to not getting the Hep B from the hospital the nurse just automatically said that I'm doing refusal of vaccines but my baby is barely 3 days old. Very impatient, and a bit rude. The doctor hardly looked at my baby and did not check out the scratches that I am concerned about. Pushing for me to do blood work for jaundice and wanting formula even though my child skin is not showing yellow and I'm looking at his eyes and there's not yellow present atm. He did not look at what my concerns are and everything just kept getting even more rushed. I did not like that I didn't have the proper time for doing my paper work nor about the vaccines when I don't recall a 3day old baby getting them until much later at least 2 weeks or so. I would not recommend this place nor the dr because the kicker is that he saw my baby in the hospital before I was discharged so I don't see how my baby got cleared then.

I am a first time mom. From the moment I got there for my babies first appointment, it has been a bad experience. I received a phone call to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment and when I arrived, the door was locked. Then when they let me in, they told me they didn't open until 9. Why did I receive a phone call to arrive early?
I told the nurse I was concerned about jaundice, then Dr. Kufor comes in and sits down, doesn't check my baby at all, then asks me if I have any concerns. I told him I was concerned about jaundice, then he checks out my baby. He agreed and then told me I should only breastfeed my baby for 5 minutes on each side, then do the rest Formula. I am exclusively breastfeeding. I was not happy that he was trying to push formula on me. 2 times he tried to push formula on me.
He sent me to quest diagnostics to check her levels for jaundice, he calls me later that day with the results, then sends me to get more blood work the next day which was a Friday, then I didn't hear from him until Monday around 11am. I had already made another appointment with another Dr because this guy made me angry by not contacting me about her results. Turns out her levels peaked high over the weekend to the point she should have went to the hospital to have light therapy.
His office lady also told me that my baby needed her own insurance card at just 3 days old, when she was covered under my insurance for 30 days, but she wanted to fight me on the and make me feel stupid. Telling me that I needed to provide her own insurance card at my next appointment.
I found a new Dr that is very thorough and that actually cares about his patients. The only reason I chose him as my Dr was because he was the on call pediatrician at the hospital I delivered at. I do not recommend this Dr at all.

FILTHY. Do not come here unless you want to see how a doctors office should NOT LOOK.
The waiting room sits 8 people max. They are overbooked and the staff is not friendly. We did not get seen until 11:30 for our 10:00 appointment. The office is in need of a refresh and nobody seems to have cleaned in the last decade. The office reeked of marijuana and every single piece of furniture is worn and dirty.
DO NOT COME HERE.

I have been trying to reach billing since I had my baby in September. I was billed for them checking my daughter in the hospital when my insurance should have covered it. I call all different times throughout the week to get an automated message that the mailbox is full and it hangs up on me.. This is not my babies pediatrician and based on the way they handle their billing department I would never let them care for my child.

Terrible office. The first two times i called to make an appt for my son they told me to go to the urgent care cause they didnt have time. Now I've been calling for the past month to get a referral and no one picks up the phone. I even went to their office and the door is closed even though it clearly shows on the paper they have taped to the door that they are open.

Very bad communication with clients/patients .
My kids missed school and I missed work to make the appointment, got there and their office was closed for the whole week. Never received a call or anything! Very unprofessional… changing PCP ASAP!!

This is the only doctor my baby has ever seen she's 7years old and he's amazing. He is not quick to give medicine because he believes in building the child's immune system. Being a first-time mother I didn't understand but now that she is seven I am grateful that she was never on all kind of medication and her immune system is very strong.

Never going back. My baby got a cough, took her there, and never got the prescription at smiths. Had lots of calls to the pediatric and they always said they were going to send it, but never did. After that because she never got that infection treated I had to take her to the ER. She got a lymph node because of that. It was terrible and all because of the dr.

First appointment did not impress me, this feels like a very budget type of office. Waiting common area didn't look clean, big slippery plastic rug in the main walking area (watch step). Second visit angered me, i waited about 20 minutes after my appointment time, nurse finally brought us back to take my baby's vitals, she wanted me to strip my baby down to diaper in that kitchen area, they didn't give us a room to wait for the Doc, i told them ill wait for the room before we do vitals. Another nurse asked us to wait in the front if we didn't want to get vitals done. We told the nurse that we didn't say we didn't want vitals done we said we wanted a room to strip our baby in. So i walked back to the waiting area and as I was leaving the office told them "I better not see any charges for today" then walked out. Negative stars if i could. Not recommend.

Very very rude!!!!!!! The receptionist must be miserable because she has such a bad attitude it’s insane. If you ask a question they talk to you like a child! Seriously Do not come here unless you want to feel like fighting.

Called this doctor's office on March 4th, explained that we had one of their existing clients who was suffering from multiple medical issues. they did not have any openings. We then called them back on March 7th and explained the issues with their client, the first appointment was for March 25th. We asked for anything sooner but we were told that was the only available time. Showed up today at 9:10am for the appointment with all the legal paperwork to have the client seen. The client is in need (and has been since March 4th) of other tests that they can't do on site, but have to write a referral for. The doctor has only ever dealt with CPS clients before, so she refused to see the client and put the appointment off till next Monday . We asked for the referals at least so that we could start the process, she refused again. The doctor put the interests of her business before her obilgation to the client. We will never take any child here, I understand that if you have Medicaid or Amerigroup the options for doctors in the valley are limited. But this is a business first and the clients come second, kids deserve better.

Dr. Kufour has been my son doctor from the start. I changed my health plan just to keep him. Great staff!! Knowledgeable and friendly. I've even referred a lot of my friends to him for their kids. One of the best PEDs in las Vegas in my opinion.

I met Dr. Kufor when my now two year old was about 6 months old when we relocated to Nevada and we had taken her to North Vista and the doctors brushed off her sickness. So we were referred to Dr. Kufor and the first day we met him our daughters pulse ox was in the 90% so he referred us to Sunrise where he highly advised us to take an ambulance and not drive and while there we found out our baby had pneumonia. I really liked the fact that he told us they had better equipment there to help her instead of brushing it off and acting like he knew everything. He is a humble man that will be honest about his knowledge. Also recently just this week I brought my youngest child to the ER because she has been acting abnormal and the doctors brushed it off "she's healthy" "babies get fussy" and I refused to leave until they actually did some testing and the doctor proceeded to say I would be "traumitizing" my child for having them get a urine sample by catheter. My husband brought her to the ER 4 days later because she developed a fever, cough and runny nose and same thing they brushed us off. Next day (today) I had a form for Dr. Kufor to sign and I spontaneously asked his front desk team if there was an opening and there was so she was seen, and Dr. Kufor discovers that she has an ear infection in BOTH ears. I give him top kudos for keeping my children healthy and safe. Ms. Edwards, the physician assistant has also seen my children for routine check ups and she is an enjoyable woman. They both will have your children in great hands!!! Thank you Pioneer Pediatrics!!!!
PS, both my children have lactose mil-digestion (lactose intolerant) and he is very knowledgeable about this as my child did not take well to regular or soy formula she had to have a special prescription formula.
