Dr. Chiu was amazing. He was very patient and thorough. I had a corneal transplant and my eye can no longer be fixed with glasses. He is sending me to a specialist while my LAST dr lied and said he got my vision to 20/20. Dr. Chiu didn't rush the exam and he answered all questions. He was very patient with my daughter as well.

I return to Boca Park Lens Crafters because of Dr. Chiu. I trust him with the health of my eyes. The receptionist was wonderful, and she did my eye tests. Exceptional service. The lady who helped me fill the prescription was patient and explained the options well. Looking forward to my new glasses.

I was a client for years. After yesterday's phone call, I'm done. You guys constantly hang up on people without even so much as a hello, claim you can't find our insurance on file, even though I provided it to you verbally and through the portal and then try to charge me $100 for an exam when my copay is $10.

They frequently hang up on callers without greeting them. I called weeks ago to make an appointment and provided my insurance information. I was told I'd get a call back yesterday to confirm coverage. I never did. When I called, they said I didn't have insurance. Then she said it was $100. This was after I provided all my info for the third time. My copay is $10. I know what my coverage is. I've been giving these people my business for years but they've lost a client permanently after this crap. I called another place who was able to pull it up without issue and they didn't try to overcharge me.

The eye exam process was extremely efficient. The staff at Progressive are all total pros. Dr Chiu took the time to explain the pros and cons of different eyewear choices and to help me understand what to look for to best fit my specific needs.
Marissa helped me choose my frames. I didn't once feel rushed or pressed in the slightest to make a decision. She seemed genuinely interested in finding the perfect pair and the right lens choices - with me - not for me.

I truly don’t have enough words to express my heartfelt gratitude and deep admiration for Dr. Jerrin Chiu. During my recent visit, I arrived 14 minutes late. The front desk initially informed me that their policy allows a 15-minute grace period, and that I would need to reschedule. Despite being the last patient of the day and the delay, Dr. Chiu graciously came back to the office to personally see me.
His genuine care and the incredible attention he gives to every single detail of my concerns never cease to amaze me. Every time I leave his office, I feel not only cared for but truly confident and secure about my eye health. Having a doctor like Dr. Chiu is a rare gift, and I’m so grateful to be under his care.

I was told I was going to be given examples by the doctor and then the receptionist charged me for them. I will not come back here. Communication is not key in this office and need to communicate better with their patients. I was not given my contact rx because I didn’t pay an additional $85 for it which is ridiculous. If I can give a zero review I would.

Was given the wrong prescription my first exam. Upon taking the second exam I felt like I was being gaslit with certain tests. I felt like they wanted me to choose the faulty prescription but I know what I can and cannot see. Lastly, I should have been better directed by the sales team of which frames would be more compatible with my prescription. Not all prescriptions will work properly with any frame. I wish I would have been advised before allowing me to choose and purchase just any pair.

Went to this optometrist and my prescription was completely off resulting in my glasses not being appropriate. Spent hundreds of dollars getting glasses made thinking the issue was with the way the glasses were made. However got my eyes retested at another location and discovered it was the prescription that was a problem. A friend of mine who went there as well had the same issue. Either the optician or the equipment is faulty. Do not get your eye exam here.

Really awful place. Do not recommend it to anyone. Was there a couple years ago for lenses. They worked for about 1 year and then all the coatings started wearing off. My lenses from Walmart have been much more durable and were half the price. On top of that they keep sending emails to make an annual appointment that do not contain reply or unsubscribe instructions. I called one year ago to get it to stop and now a year later, they've added me again.

The people were pleasant. What was unacceptable was the $72 they charged me for a "Contact Lense Fitting". The Doctor gave me a contact; I put it in; she asked if it was OK; I said yes and BINGO, I was charged $72 for a 30 second process that didn't involve any fitting.

Such convenient and flexible scheduling - they have weekend appointments and can usually get you in within a few days to a week. Appointment itself was quick and thorough. Over the past two years I have seen four different optometrist. Dr Chiu is the first one I feel got my prescription right. He is very knowledgeable and patient. Mayra is also terrific. I wanted both glasses and also contacts for the first time. Dr Chiu and Mayra were so helpful in telling me how contacts work and helping me practice take them in and out. I highly recommend this practice.
