I was seen by this office between 2021-2024. Had my crowns done there. I switched since to a different dentist.
Today - Saturday - the crown unfortunately came off. My regular dentist office is closed so I called the Providence dental to see if they can help.
The woman answering phone says they don’t have me in system and I’ve never been there.
I’ve got still email notifications and invoices from their office from my dental work from 2021-2024, but she insists that I’m a liar and hallucinating.

Good call. Made my decision easier and as a reminder that first of all this bad crown that came off was done by their office in 2024. Reason I should haven’t even bothered to call back for any help.

PLEASE READ:
The staff providing the exams/cleans seem great. However, I feel there’s a huge disconnect between the front office/billing and the dental care team. Front office seems in the business to up-sale more costly options and make more profit.

After seeing all the reviews that were bad I assumed it was just salty customers. Turns out nope, the billing/front office definitely operating on maximum billing as possible. First time they straight conned me by giving me a treatment I didn’t approve after them presenting treatment options. Afterward they tried giving me a bill for it. Gave them benefit of the doubt for miscommunication. Came back for more routine care, requested specific cleaning and was told I was all scheduled and good to go etc. showed up had a a copay and was confused because I know my insurance policy. Front desk disputed and said nope that’s what I pay. While getting my cleaning and exam I reviewed my documents again. At checkout I brought it to their attention again, turned out they scheduled me for an upgraded cleaned without telling me or clarifying that copay.

Furthermore dentist said my teeth were fantastic and great job. He didn’t recommend any further work needed, told me I’m doing everything right. At checkout they told me I needed non routine and the not fully covered treatment with add-ons not covered by my insurance. They said the hygienist prescribed it (weird the dentist didn’t). Then refused to give me a routine for my next appointment.

I found 2 dentist in the area that appear to not be scammy or corporate profit. Hybrid dental and sky dental, I’ll come back and report after setting up appointment with one or both of them.

Edit: Business response used the phrase “unsure about what to expect.” That’s not what had occurred. Your front office just intentionally withholds information and is deceitful.

Laziest manager I’ve ever dealt with(or not dealt with?). Got hit with an unexpected bill for a copay that was never discussed with me(spoke with my insurance afterwards and was told that I shouldn’t have received a bill). When I called to discuss it originally, I was told I’d need to speak with the manager about it. I ended up calling on THREE separate occasions to speak with her and each time I’m told to hold one moment and that they’d transfer me, after holding for a minute or two they’d say “oh actually she’s not here today” which is hardly believable as I’ve called multiple different days of the week and times throughout the day. The assistants in the back (especially Kameron) are nice and Dr. Nimsuwan is a great doctor but the front staff ruins the experience entirely. Go somewhere else.
Edited to add: it looks like it may be a different manager now than the one I dealt with. The old manager, I think her name was Samantha? Was bringing that office down, she seemed extremely lazy. Glad to see they replaced her.

Went in for a cleaning and they “diagnosed” me with a deep cleaning, they wouldn’t let me just do the normal cleaning covered by insurance. Would have been an extra $140. They also tried to sneak in “laser cleaning” for an additional $100 and I told them multiple times I didn’t want that. They thought I would just not notice. Very money driven business not truly helping out their client. Just trying to make an extra buck off of everyone

Dr. Raper was AWESOME...He's patient since I was terrified of the shot/shots. I was doing jumping jacks in the room to calm down and they said nothing. When it was time to get the shots for my extraction I started humming and doc was humming with me. I got a total of 6 shots and I wasn't numb and with the last two it felt like he went deep but I didn't get numb. He asked if I ate and I said no then he said how do I feel about going to sleep. I said it might be best since the shots not working enough. He said it's due to the infection so they got me ready and I was sleep in no time and woke up like I blinked. Surprise, you'll have a balance due! The past 2 times I've been here, there is a surprise past balance on my account. This last one was from almost a year ago, Sept 2025. Been back twice, since, no mention of a past due balance. Now, all of a sudden, there is a balance due on my account. Claimed that a statement was mailed in January, which is still 4 months after the service they claim has a balance, but none was received on my end. Front desk responses: One said "yeah, no, you have a balance." And another basically said they must have missed it. (Twice since there were 2 appointments after Sept 2025.). Hygienist was good this time, but the guy doing the buffing after hurt me twice with just the buffing tool. I didn't realize that could even happen. Go here if you enjoy surprise bills!

I came in today for a routine cleaning. It has been about 2 years since I’ve gotten one after being pregnant and having a baby, life got busy and it wasn’t a priority. Anyway, I get the exam and the dentist said my teeth looked good. No issues. The hygienist measured my gums and said my gums were healthy. Did not mention any diagnosis or infection etc. The front desk insurance lady comes in and goes over the treatment plan and says that I have a lot of infection and need a deep cleaning which will be under anesthesia and split between two appointments. I ask her to clarify because neither the dentist nor hygienist mentioned infection or a diagnosis of periodontal disease requiring a deep clean. She repeats that I have a lot of buildup and need a deep cleaning. When I ask her for just a regular cleaning instead, she refuses and says they basically won’t do anything unless I agree to a deep cleaning so I left. I’m convinced this was an attempt at an insurance scam.

The staff here is really nice and it's easy to make and change appointments. However, I don't really love the dentistry experience, doesn't feel like I'm getting a thorough cleaning. This is the first place I've been to in Vegas so it's hard to know if this is still "good for Vegas." My previous dentist retired and he did everything, the cleaning, checking health of gums, fluoride treatment, etc. This is one of those places with the flashy new equipment and you see 4-5 different people, but the cleaning feels mediocre compared to the old school dentist I used to go to. I will probably continue going here due to easy scheduling until I find something closer to what I had before.

My whole family has been going to this office for over 6 years now. Started out great but in the last 6 months to a year it’s gone down hill fast. Put two kids through braces there as well. Regular dentistry is ok for the most part but ortho is a hot mess. Techs are acting unprofessionally but I can over look most childish behaviors because what’s life without laughter. However to spend thousands there and have the front office lady, Ada, argue with me over what the dr said. Rather than just talking with the dr I have to spend more time to go back again and have them reevaluate for another retainer. And I bet they will try to charge me despite the fact she’s only had her braces off for 3 months. Why would the dr have the tech scan her lower teeth if they didn’t need a lower retainer. He even said it several times before he left the room. But I’d rather go back and argue with them than have my kid choke on her retainer while she sleeps. Beyond frustrating and seriously contemplating making the move to somewhere else.

I don't mind going to the dentist for routine check ups, and cleanings, but late last night my filling came out, and I needed to see the dentist first thing in the morning. I was so happy that Providence Dental took emergency appointments. I was able to get in, get my tooth fixed, and go to breakfast all before 12pm.
I'm also thankful for the urgent care I received from the nice, professional staff, and the courtesy I was given to be able to be seen on such short notice.

Deceptive billing practices. $600 of my bill was for upgraded material that they didn’t even bill to insurance, didn’t tell me that it was completely out of pocket, and didn’t offer me as an option just as the treatment. I’ve reviewed all my paperwork and tried to contact the office manager to resolve this “misunderstanding” and she hasn’t called me back in 3 months. It feels like deliberate upcharging and intentional deception- clinical staff was satisfactory for care but I will not be returning due to their dishonest business practices. So disappointed with ortho, Dr Kody Grahl!! He totally ignored my concerns. He corrected some teeth & ignored others. I had to ask him to put a bracket on one tooth. He also thought I needed extractions, WTH! Ask for 2nd opinion! All I needed is; utilize elastic bands, adjust few brackets, IPR & close gaps between my teeth, but instead he was ready to finish my treatment!!
So, I went for 2nd & 3rd opinions, after I went through 4 orthodontists in 2 years! However, I had him the longest.

I couldn't get teeth cleaning for a year with my braces, as well. I had to go days without the wires, to get this done, as they could not do this the same day, like other places.

I feel that I got scammed really bad from this dental office. I went last year on December 2025 for 2 crowns and a root canal , they said I have to pay $1,113.90 for the root canal out of pocket and $457 out of pocket for crowns They assured me that the rest are covered by my insurance….
So now 4 months after they sent me a bill that the insurance does not cover nothing and I owe on top of what I already paid another $1,808.10
This is horrible to do to people . And funny thing is that I was going to do the crown only on the tooth that I did the root canal but the doctor said since it’s end of the year and you haven’t use all year the insurance let’s do the other crown too.

I’m very disappointed with this office. This was my first visit, and while the staff and dentist were friendly and pleasant, the business practices were not.

After my check-up, I was told I needed a cleaning, which is normal. I was then charged $120, which seemed unusual since cleanings at other dental offices I’ve visited were typically covered with my copay. When I asked, the staff explained it was a “deep cleaning,” so I agreed.

Only after I paid did they tell me they would clean half of my teeth during that visit and the other half at a second appointment due to “insurance purposes.” This already felt a bit odd, but I assumed it was just their process.

When I returned for the second visit, I was told I owed an additional $95 copay—something that was never mentioned during my first visit. Had I known the total cost would be $215, I would not have agreed, especially since the cleaning felt no different from a standard one.

This lack of transparency feels very dishonest. They should have clearly explained the full cost upfront instead of making it seem like the cleaning was only $120.

It’s unfortunate, because the staff and dentist were kind and the location is convenient. However, due to these billing practices, my family and I will not be returning. It felt more like dealing with a used car salesman than a healthcare provider.

I went in for a cracked tooth, and they could see me right away. They assured me they take Delta dental insurance.
After examination they came up with all sorts of work that they said needed to be done. This not the first time a dentist office has done that, but I knew better so I declined. Except in this case, I was in excruciating pain and there were like 3 people standing around me. I still declined. Then they said in order to do the crown, the dentist will only do the "upgraded" crown that insurance won't fully cover. I am old and didn't need it. I was there in excruciating pain. I had no choice but to agree and paid the difference plus other things they said I had to pay.

2 weeks later, the permanent crown is put in and they say nothing. 2 weeks after that, I get a statement in the mail. They are charging me even more money.

Out of $1368 in charges, I ended up having to pay $1212. That is 5-years of Delta Dental premiums.

My butt hurts.

I’ve used these teeth whitening strips before and they have done wonders. I had drank red juices that have stained my teeth, I tried every possible teeth whitening strips I could find. Yet none had worked until I tried Opalescence Tooth Whitening go! Within three days of use I seen change in my tooth color. They turned 1 shade lighter each time!

My experience at Providence Dental was very disappointing. I went in because I was in significant pain and needed help, but I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously.
From the beginning, the environment did not feel professional. While I was waiting, I overheard staff behind the front desk speaking about patients in a way that did not seem respectful or appropriate. Looking back, I probably should have walked out at that point, but because I was in so much pain, I decided to stay and give them a chance.
Unfortunately, the visit did not improve from there. The staff and doctor were not compassionate and not gentle, and I felt like my pain was dismissed. I clearly explained where my pain was located, but I was repeatedly told it was referred pain from an upper molar that needed a root canal. I understand that referred pain can happen, but in my case that was not the issue. When I asked about pain medication and antibiotics, I was told they were not necessary despite the level of discomfort I was experiencing.
I was also very concerned about the treatment plan and costs. The estimate included charges for equipment they planned to use, and this was not explained to me when the estimate was reviewed. Sandra, the staff member who went over the treatment plan with me, did not mention these equipment charges, which made the pricing feel unclear and misleading.
I was told the general dentist was in-network, but I later learned that the endodontist within their practice was not covered by my insurance. This meant I would have had to pay about $125 just for the consultation, which normally should have been covered under my plan. This significantly increased the expected cost and was not clearly explained at the time.
Right away, when Sandra began going over the estimate, she discussed payment options, which I did appreciate. However, the overall experience and how everything was presented made me feel uneasy. Something just did not feel right, and the situation felt off from the start. Overall, the billing practices felt questionable and excessive, especially considering the treatment plan came out to almost $7,000, while another in-network dental office quoted me $1,729.19 for appropriate treatment.
When I asked for a copy of my treatment plan and estimate before leaving, I noticed the staff seemed somewhat bothered that I requested it, which made the situation feel uncomfortable. They also began speaking in Spanish among themselves. Thankfully I speak Spanish, but the situation still felt unprofessional and unnecessary.
I ended up going to another dental office for a second opinion, and the experience was completely different. They listened to my concerns, treated my pain appropriately, and explained everything clearly.
I also work in the medical field, so I understand the importance of professionalism, compassion, and clear communication with patients. That is why this experience was especially disappointing to see and go through as a patient.
Looking back, I wish I had paid closer attention to the Google reviews that raised concerns about the billing practices, because my experience reflected similar concerns.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Patients in pain deserve compassion, transparency, and professionalism, and unfortunately I did not receive that here.

You've heard of running away from bad experiences, right? Well I actually ran to Providence after really bad experiences since moving to Las Vegas. It happened on a fluke after visiting just for oral surgery a couple years ago. But because everyone is so pleasant and professional I ran to become a regular patient here. Im a BIG baby at the dentist and at every appointment Im comforted and supported through the visit. The doctors are patient with my anxiety and take their time while I settle in to the treatment. After going to the same dentist for over 20 years, since elementary school, I unexpectedly found myself searching for a new provider after learning my dentist had retired. Not long after, what I thought was a minor toothache quickly escalated into severe, overwhelming pain. My mouth became inflamed and swollen, pressure spread through my face and temples, and I was miserable. The pain grew so intense that I ended up in the ER just to get through the wait for a dental appointment.

At my wife’s urging, I contacted Cadence Family Dental. From the moment I walked in, I was met with kindness, professionalism, and reassurance. Although this was an initial evaluation as a new patient, it quickly became clear my pain could not wait. Without hesitation, the team adjusted their approach and focused entirely on identifying and addressing the problem. Every step was explained clearly, including treatment options and financial considerations, and I never once felt rushed or dismissed.

When Dr. Lepure entered the room, his calm and confidence immediately put me at ease. He reviewed my scans, examined my situation himself, and took the time to truly listen. When we realized the schedule was fully booked, I was terrified I would be sent home to endure the pain even longer. Dr. Lepure acknowledged that fear and told me he would make sure I was treated that same day, even if it meant staying late. In that moment, it was clear he was putting me first, and I broke down from relief and gratitude.

That evening, I returned and was treated with the same warmth and care. Dr. Lepure explained everything thoroughly and performed the root canal using state-of-the-art technology. What is typically a frightening procedure was done efficiently and far more quickly than I expected, using what appeared to be a microscope, which gave me tremendous confidence in the precision and care being taken.

What makes this experience unforgettable is not just the relief from pain, but the humanity behind the care. My wife and I were expecting our baby at any moment, and I was deeply afraid I would not be physically or mentally able to support her. Because Dr. Lepure chose to treat me immediately, and because of the teamwork and compassion of Cadence Family Dental, I was able to recover. Within 72 hours, my wife went into labor, and I was fully present for one of the most important moments of our lives.

I am deeply grateful to Cadence Family Dental for creating an environment where compassion and patient-first care are clearly the standard. Special thanks to Dr. Lepure for his selflessness and skill, to Dr. Martinez for her kindness and dedication, and to Liliana, Monica, and Jennifer for their warmth and support. This team did not just relieve my pain. They gave me the ability to be there for my family when it mattered most.
