I have been a patient of Dr Stovall for several years now. She is just amazing! I also have experience with their psych testing department, which is also amazing and thorough. I cannot say enough good words about the Psychology Institute of Las Vegas. If you are seeking a mental health professional, please check into them. You won't regret it!

Just finished my second appointment, both of which being "assessment" meetings I guess? I understand the first one would be but... 2? Mind you they have you fill out forms, a lot of them. Answer a lot of questions. But what did I do my entire first session? I answered every single question I just spent all that time answering on their forms. So why on earth did I have to fill out the forms? My second session was spent... just going over the answers from the first, that she had questions about, so that she could ask her supervisor what to do. Because oh yea, she wasn't an actual psychologist she was like interning or something. Then as a reward for my 2 hours... I get a magical referral to someone else because they dont have anyone here that specializes in what I need. Maybe I just need to talk to someone. But congrats on the 50 bucks and however much you charged my insurance. Enjoy it. Id rather suffer with crippling depression than to come back here or entertain any of these "referrals." I won't be supporting anyone you're affiliated with. Shame on this place.

I was very afraid about EMDR. Nate made me very comfortable. I was very cautious with the process but Nate was thorough and answered all my questions and I didn’t feel rushed into a “quick fix”. He explained the process to me and I felt like I could really trust him. Great experience and helped my anxiety and I feel so much better!

Has no providers that can do testing for children under 13 that take any insurance. Website is misleading. It also took about a month after emailing for them to even contact me to tell me that.

Wonderful company. Shopped around for a while for a good therapist until I found Nicole Moreggi here. Absolutely amazing at what she does and always goes the extra mile to ensure I am having my needs meant. From adjusting her schedule last minute and always being available to me in any way needed has made a huge difference. I’m able to be open and honest with no judgment and feel safe and supported. I have recommended this facility to numerous people and will continue to do so. Appreciate them and all their hard workers.

I was referred to this office by my OB-GYN for postpartum depression and was advised to call and schedule an appointment as soon as possible. When I called, the woman who answered the phone was unnecessarily rude and condescending. I explained that I had been referred by my OB-GYN, and her response was, “Do you know who you’re calling right now?” — delivered in a very dismissive tone. I reiterated that I had been referred for postpartum depression, but rather than responding with any empathy or acknowledgment, she simply continued in a serious manner, took down my information, and stated she would look for my referral. I also informed her that I have PPO insurance, in case that made a difference.
It has now been two months, and I have yet to receive any follow-up or appointment. Thankfully, I was able to seek support through another avenue, but I worry deeply for anyone who may not have had that option. For new mothers struggling with their mental health — especially during such a vulnerable time — a dismissive or unsympathetic response can be incredibly discouraging. I strongly urge that staff answering patient calls receive proper training in communication, professionalism, and compassion. Additionally, implementing a reliable system to ensure patients are contacted in a timely manner for appointments.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Psychology Institute of Las Vegas. The staff members were extremely helpful, understanding, and accommodating through out my experience. I was in an extremely dark place when I first decided to request their services and it was the best decision I could have possibly made. I highly recommend Nicole Moreggi. She is by far the best counselor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She has been nothing but wonderful and supportive throughout my journey and I cannot thank her enough. My sessions have made such a wonderful impact on my life and have truly helped me with my traumas of not only this past year but also throughout my personal past life. Again I highly recommend this institution for anyone looking for real support and counseling during these tough times.

In response to a wrongdoing, Dr. Moreggi and her team showed their dedication to the medical community when I was misdiagnosed by another neuropsychologist. When I spoke about my particular situation, I was heard and even helped, despite speaking from a place of frustration in pursuit of medical clearance for my dream career. I’m glad I came across this team because I was close to giving up on a path I am very passionate about. I could speak to Dr. Moreggi’s good character and judgment for a stretch, but I advise you to find out for yourself. There likely isn’t a better team in Las Vegas.

Laura Schroeder started great till after a few sessions. You will never get a full 60 min session. It ends up being only 40 something minutes and she will bill your insurance $300 per session. Be aware of the late cancellation fee that she does not waive even for first-time cancellation. The cancellation fee costs more than your co-pay and she doesn't even know the exact amount. You won't get an explanation of the fee since she does not care and won't respond back to you regarding the fee. The next day your card will be charged. Very unprofessional and uncaring with someone that has more than 30 years' experience. Don't waste your time and money. It's all a business with Laura. I would not recommend her!

I'm not sure I can say enough positive things about Dr Moreggi, Kent Dail, Dr Stovall, Brittany Orlando, and the office staff at PILV.
The process for checking in and paying the copay is so efficient, and the office staff are all so friendly and helpful.
Dr Vivian Stovall conducted testing with my son, and got to the bottom of some long term learning and mental differences and empowered us as a family to meet his challenges head on.
Brittany Orlando has been an amazing therapist for my 11 yr old. She takes the time to connect with him, and is very much in touch with his needs. Her treatment plans give clear goals so parents to support their child in the therapy process.
Kent Dail is a compassionate and patient EMDR therapist. He is respectful of a client's boundaries, and takes the time to ensure that you feel comfortable in the process. I've seen big improvement in a circumstance that was really holding me back, and am grateful for Kent's expertise.
Dr Danielle Moreggi has been my therapist for 2.5 yrs. I can't say enough about how working with her has helped me better understand my mental health issues and given me tools to help improve my everyday life. She has been an amazing source of support and I'm grateful.
I'd recommend PILV to anyone for any mental health related need. They have a wide range of expertise, and I think you'll find whatever you need there.

I was referred to PILV for testing and cannot overstate the quality and comprehensiveness of their services. Each member of staff that I interacted with, from reception to billing to the test administrator and beyond, was an absolute delight, and it is so clear that they are excellent in every area.

I can not say a single bad thing about the Psychology Institute of Las Vegas. The receptionist that contacted me to schedule was super nice. I was not in a good place before I started coming here and talking to Nicole Moreggi. She is fantastic and is helping me out immensely.

If I could rate this office in the negatives, I would.
I originally contacted almost 5 months prior to receiving an appointment at this office. I had to reach out twice to remind them that they informed me they would contact me after 3 months.
They didn't ask me about my preferences with a provider, nor did they ask about my gender/pronouns/how I identify.
I was instructed to get to the office 15 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out paperwork. When I arrived, there was no one in the office. Not a receptionist. No doctors. Not a soul. No note saying they were at lunch or in a meeting or anything. Just an open, empty office.
I stood around for 10 minutes. I walked around the office to try to find someone. I called out. I even called the office. I double checked the address and time of appointment just in case I had gotten it wrong.
Five minutes after my appointment time, a man came out of one of the doors and caught me on the brink of a panic attack. He handed me paperwork to fill out and told me someone would be right with me.
Fifteen minutes after my appointment time, I met my therapist and am taken back into an office where my anxiety is so high from this experience that I can barely speak.
My therapist was nice but essentially told me that I needed to diet and exercise to improve my mental health. Out of three one-hour sessions, I spoke for maybe 30 minutes while he talked for the rest of it. He misgendered me more than once as well as misgendering my partner. He never asked how I identify nor did he ask for my pronouns or those of my partner. I had to very uncomfortably correct him multiple times.
After three sessions, I requested someone else as I didn't feel like this was working out. He told me no one could take any other appointments and that he'd assist me in finding another provider. As of 10/27, I never heard back.
When I originally spoke to the office, I was told that these sessions would be $20. Now almost a month later, they're calling me to collect an additional $90 as they misquoted me originally.
I spoke to Carrie who misgendered me 3 times on the phone, saying it wasn't even noted in my chart. She was condescending in her explanation that, according to the office, they were quoted $20 per session when it's actually $50. I asked how it was my fault that their office misquoted me and she told me it didn't matter and it was my responsibility to pay them or contact my insurance.
When I called my insurance, they told me that it was the fault of the office for misquoting me to begin with.
I don't have the money to pay this rude and incredibly transphobic office any more money that they're claiming I owe them.
I will never be returning and I will encourage anyone I speak to to avoid this office as much as possible as they are unprofessional, rude, and clearly not about helping anyone, just about collecting what they believe is owed to them.
