Check in was great, the ladies at the check in desk were very kind and very helpful. Got checked in and back to a room very fast. Total face-to-face time with the doctor to discuss a prolonged cough and shortness of breath… less than two minutes. Approximately 20 seconds listening to my lungs and told me my lungs sounded good and he was going to prescribe an antibiotic, a steroid, and an inhaler and he was gone.

I didn't know that I had this virtual appt. I know I see Dr. Wiggins in December as my new doctor since Dr. Russ left. It was kind of Dr. Kalra to personally call and tell me that my mammogram showed a shadow and ultrasound needs to get done. He said he didn't want me to be surprised when the referral came in the mail. I'm thankful that Dr. Kalra is taking care of me during transition appt time to see my new doctor. Dr. Kalra has refilled my prescriptions as needed . Even though I've never met him, im impressed with his kindness, professionalism and taking care of me.
I have medical issues. Knowing Dr. Karla is conscientious makes me rest easier.

UPDATE: THANK YOU DR. KALRA FOR TREATING ME IN PAHRUMP. I KNOW YOU HAVE A BIG POSITION WITH INTERMOUNTAIN WATCHING OVER ALL NV INTERMOUNTAIN URGENT CARE FACILITIES. YOU TRULY WERE THE BEST DOCTOR I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY 72 YEARS. MY HUSBAND LONNIE AND I THANK YOU AND WILL KEEP YOU IN PRAYER 🙏 YOU GOT ME THROUGH CANCER AND HELP ME WITH ALL MY MANY CONCERNS.

My last appointment was a waste of time , nothing was taken care of , the previous one we had a plan to get the information on my colonoscopy and lab results and the results were not to be seen as he didn’t have any for the colonoscopy and because of his failure to get these things done , and telling me false things about other departments that have an impact on me, I will be looking for a different primary care doctor

My appointment at the Loop was with Dr. Rakesh Karla for my three month check up and going over my lab results. I feel so comfortable talking to him on any subject. He seems very interested on my thoughts and feelings and seems to be in no hurry in listening. Dr. Karla is fantastic, he always makes me feel like a person NEVER a number ( that happens with a lot of Doctors). He not only explains my treatments well he always addresses my concerns. His Nurse makes me feel relaxed and explains what my tests say. The front office girls, Penny and Jasmine always help me even if I drop by with questions and they point me in the right direction even if it means waiting awhile to see someone right away. They each make me feel secure.
