As a patient suffering with Thyroid Eye Disease (TED), I had decided after a lot of researching, and through comments from a support group for people with TED, that there was only one Oculoplastic Surgeon that I would choose..Dr. Raymond Douglas. Over the course of 7 years, I had gone through Tepezza infusions, Eyelid Retraction Surgery, Orbital Radiotherapy, and Steroids..with little to no relief in fighting this awful disease. I live in the Atlanta area, but I was willing to travel to and stay in Beverly Hills for my surgery. I knew that Dr. Douglas was the best! The staff at the Beverly Hills office was wonderful..especially Diana Valencia, surgery coordinator, and also Becca Quiroz, who I dealt with over the phone several times. I was so grateful that Dr. Douglas took me on as a patient. I had bilateral Orbital Decompression Surgery and bilateral Blepharoplasty Surgery on March 6, 2026. I had a great pre-op appointment the day before the surgery, and my surgery at La Peer Surgery Center went really well. Dr. Douglas and Dr. Wong did an outstanding job! I never was in any pain during my recovery, and they took measures to ensure my bruising would be very minimal. I had my stitches removed a week later and the improvement was already noticeable! I have healed nicely 3 months later, and have started to look like my old self again! I recommend Dr. Douglas so much because he truly is the best! The aftercare has been fantastic too with the Zoom calls and being able to text Dr. Wong with my progress pictures or with any questions or concerns that I had, since I live in Georgia. Dr. Douglas is one of the top oculoplastic surgeons and leading TED specialists in the world and I am so happy that he was my surgeon! I can’t thank you enough Dr. Douglas!

Dr. Douglas and his entire staff are amazing. I've been seeing him for a couple of years. I had orbital decompression surgery back in August. Everything went well. And I'm very happy with the outcome of my eyes. It was a very stressful time for me, him. And the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had many issues with my insurance, not covering the tepezza treatment before, and also after the surgery. his team in the office worked extremely hard, appealing the insurance decision several times and eventually got the insurance to approve my second round of tepezza. They reached out to the insurance day after day on my behalf and I couldn't be more thankful for everything they've done. And for helping me get the insurance to approve my current treatment. I would definitely recommend anyone to see Dr. Douglas who was having thyroid eye disease issues, and I can guarantee you that him, and the staff will take great care of you. I am so thankful!!

Reception area was beautiful, front desk person attentive and friendly, Dr. Douglas was nice and gave me some suggestions. Not sure if I need his services, but I was referred by another specialist who told me that he was an expert with Thyroid Eye Disease and new to town. My name is Sachiko and I have been a patient of Dr Douglas for 7 years. Prior to Dr Douglas, I'd had 3 failed ptosis surgeries performed by 2 specialists. When those procedures produced little to no improvement, I was reluctant to try a 4th time considering the lack of results observed. I was likewise concerned about what damage my eye muscles had endured in those prior procedures. I saw Dr Douglas in his Beverly Hills location and I am so glad I did. He not only fixed my ptosis, but he was able to repair some of the internal damage caused by the other surgeons. With an eyelid that finally opened properly, I was able to get back to all of the outdoor activities I loved to do; where prior to Dr Douglas, limited sight from one eye had become a hinderance to those hobbies. I likewise became more assertive in both my professional and personal life, and gained confidence in looking people straight in the eye without the nagging self-conscious thought that they were staring at my "bum eye". Three years ago I moved to Vegas, and when I'd learned Dr Douglas had opened a practice here in the city I jumped at the opportunity to see him locally. Not having seen him in many years I wondered whether he'd even remember me? He did! And sure enough, seven years later, he is the same as I'd remembered years ago: brilliant, kind, thoughtful, gives recommendations for you to look and feel your best...and in this reunion I was quickly reminded of why I chose him as my surgeon so long ago. I am thankful he's here locally. Vegas has a shortage of medical specialists as it stands, so we are lucky to have one of the very best right here in town. I had my consultation with Dr Raymond Douglas and Becca Quiroz surgery coordinator. They were both professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Douglas took the time to walk me through the procedure. A week later, I received an email from Diana Valencia (surgery coordinator) with the surgical cost. I wish that they accepted Culinary Insurance. Thus, I did not have the procedure.

Dr Douglas performed a blepharoplasty on my eyes nine days ago. The procedure went smoothly. I felt no pain during procedure and very little afterwards. I could see better immediately. Becca removed the stitches a week later. The suture line is almost invisible and there is very little bruising remaining. Still a little swelling but I am very pleased so far.

Although I am deeply dissatisfied with the results of my surgery and have noticed that my account’s comments have mysteriously disappeared again—a truly intriguing occurrence—I must acknowledge that there seem to be individuals who are very pleased with their outcomes. It’s encouraging to know that positive cases exist.

That said, I couldn’t help but notice an interesting detail: one individual referred to his/her visit with Dr. Raymond Douglas as his/her “first time” on two separate occasions, with nearly identical comments posted a month apart. And the content is the same. Perhaps it’s just a mistake. Maybe he or she will edit it or repost it after noticing that, I don’t know.

Another beautiful lady’s joy is genuinely palpable, and I am glad for her. It’s admirable that she took the time to share her experience not just once, but twice—first in Beverly Hills seven months ago and now in Las Vegas. Such dedication truly speaks volumes about her satisfaction.

While my own experience did not meet my expectations, I sincerely hope others achieve outcomes as positive as these. For those inspired by such glowing reviews, this doctor may indeed be worth considering.
