I have been going to this clinic for years, and unfortunately I’ve been meaning to find a new primary care physician for quite some time. My most recent experience finally pushed me to write this review.
1) There is absolutely no continuity of care.
I haven’t actually seen Dr. Mahajan in years. Over the last 3-4 years, I have seen approximately 4–5 different PAs—and I’m not exaggerating. Every time I go in, I feel like I’m starting over and have to explain my medical history and health situation to someone new.

2) My most recent experience is much more concerning.
I have a serious kidney condition and am now beginning the process of getting approved for a kidney transplant. As part of that process, my kidney specialist requires me to complete a Cologuard screening. Because of how our insurance/healthcare system works, the order needs to come from my PCP.
Dr. Mahajan is now insisting that I schedule an appointment with her before she will order the test. This is a standard, non-invasive screening, and I’m requesting it specifically because it is required as part of my transplant evaluation.
The bigger problem? She doesn’t have an appointment available for almost TWO MONTHS.
That means something as simple as getting an order placed for a screening test could potentially delay my transplant evaluation and approvals by weeks—all because I’m being required to wait nearly two months for an office visit before the test will even be ordered.
I completely understand that doctors need to follow appropriate medical protocols, and if there were a legitimate medical reason that I needed to be evaluated before this test could be ordered, I would have no issue with that. But requiring an appointment while simultaneously being unable to provide one for nearly two months is incredibly frustrating when the delay affects something as serious and time-sensitive as a kidney transplant evaluation.
After years of constantly changing PAs and now dealing with this, I think it’s finally time for me to find a primary care practice that provides better continuity of care and is more responsive when a patient is dealing with a serious medical situation.

Several friends in the medical community recommended Dr. Mahajan to us, and she has exceeded every expectation. My husband has numerous and complex medical issues, and finding the right primary care physician was incredibly important. We truly believe Dr. Mahajan is the best internist he has ever had, brilliant, thorough, and exceptionally attentive. She takes the time to understand the full picture and communicates clearly, which has made a huge difference in his care. We feel very fortunate to have found her.

I have been seeing Dr Mahajan for about 2 years now and I must say that she is the first doctor that I have had since I've been here that actually listen, responded and gave me an examination, like checking my lymph nodes and other easy to get to areas for swelling; she actually looked at my medical records while I was there! I am so grateful to her, she has come through for me every time whenever I needed prescription refills or when I needed an appointment on the phone. She is an advocate of wellness, promotes good dieting and healthy living"I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good primary doctor that makes time for you and seems to have your best interest in mine" The only thing that really bothers me is that, even if I am needing to get in touch with her immediately it is sometimes not possible,The assistant at the front desk never answers the phone and I can never get through to the medical assistant. I think they are all good people! They are kind and helpful. The atmosphere is good. I feel comfortable, welcome and concerned about when I go there. "I would just love to be able to get a message to my doctor the same day that I call! Thank you Dr Mahajan for being my doctor, making me feel safe, that you really care about me! Thanks to your Staff for being so kind, respectful and helpful to me

Not the same since front desk staff changed. I'm sure there are much more deserving people for those jobs. They tried charging me for something I shouldn't pay for because the person working the desk didn't have a clue. Luckily I knew better but who knows how many other people had to pay for things they shouldn't have.
Update: this place and its reception has only gotten worse. They straight up hang up on you if they feel like it and remain inconsistent. Nurse practitioners forget what prescriptions they were supposed to send out and then you're left having to deal with your treatments being cut off because of it. If you're sick, especially chronically, I'd assume you wouldn't want life to be even harder. Look elsewhere.

Good doctor that listens however it is impossible to get an appointment that is less than a month out. So anything urgent that comes up you will have to go to urgent care instead (strep, ear infection, etc.) kind of defeats the purpose of having a primary care doctor when they can never make time to see you. And they’re still accepting new patients last I checked when they can’t even make time to see their current patients

I wish I would give her a million stars. I have been a patient of Dr. Mahajan for a few years now. She is a great doctor. She actually sits down with you and goes over your chart and health record every visit. Dr. Mahajan has all the qualities you would want in a doctor and more. She listens to your problems. She gives you a thorough exam. She opts to correct your ailment/health problem naturally if possible through proper diet and exercise. She is not a doctor who reads your chart and hands you a prescription and out the door in 5 or 10 minutes. She give you ample time to address your health problem. I really love her and thank God for placing such a caring doctor in my life. I highly recommend Dr. Mahajan for your health care needs. She has a professional, friendly staff, great location, very easy to get an appointment when you need one.
A+ Service every visit
