Some time ago, I gave Dr. Winder a glowing review - this serves to remind, at least me, that you should wait awhile before giving reviews. I had surgery by him in 2025, which was not totally successful. I never stopped having pain. I was referred to another physician in the practice, who did a subsequent surgery in the same area this past May. Had the initial surgery gone as planned, I would not have had to have a second surgery. Would I recommend him to others? My odds are 51% no and 49% yes.

I have been totally impressed with everyone at this facility from the help at the front desk to everyone that has assisted in anyway. They have all been top-notch. I had a major issue with a hospital and a dislocated shoulder. After my first appointment, I have complete confidence in my doctor and the team that he has working with him. Nothing but great things to say about team Winder from the top down! I tore my bicep tendon in January 2026 and with the care received through Dr. Winder and his team I was able to fully recover in 3 months. I had not been under since my wisdom teeth removal some 25 years earlier so I was pretty nervous, but the team put me completely at ease. I hardly even have a scar from the surgery! His immediate staff are kind and friendly. The staff that you have to deal with to get prescriptions filled after the appointment, not so much. The girl at option 6 was rude, interrupted me while I was speaking and acted like it was my fault their system didn't let me put in my pharmacy and it was my fault that the staff didn't enter the pharmacy I told them to use while we were speaking in the patient room. The ancillary staff can make or break a patient's experience with the office. Sometimes the good outweighs the crap. Sometimes it doesn't. Doctors and their management need to remember that

I saw Dr. Winder for what potentially is a torn rotator cuff. He was very friendly and professional and gave me options as to what could be done for the tear. Wonderful experience. Very organized office. Filled out forms before my first visit with Dr. Winder for my shoulder. Met with several staff before the doctor and they took x-rays and I brought a copy of my MRI. Dr.Winder was personable and was helpful in educating me on what was wrong. This was a first visit to see Dr. Winder. Front office check in was quick as I had filled paperwork in advance.
Medical assistant was extremely pleasant and the PA came in with a thorough review of my MRI results to insure the Doctor was well informed. Dr. Winder spent even more time with me to go over options. He conducted several movement tests.

I shattered my lower leg in a fall. I had to under go surgery where Dr. Winder needed to insert a plate and screws. I recovered quickly and the scar is barely visible. He really is an amazing surgeon. His office runs like a well oiled machine. Everyone knows their job and they do it very well. You know the saying, "You can tell how organized and skillful a Dr. is by his office staff." It's true! In Dr. Winder's case, he and his office staff mirror each other. It's quite impressive. I recently returned to Dr. Winder because my knees are causing me pain. I am a senior citizen so I wasn't surprised that the x-rays showed arthritis. The staff are friendly, organized, and they minimized my waiting time much better than I expected. Before Dr. Winter saw me the MA was quick in taking notes re: the reason for my visit (torn rotator cuff & biceps tendon). A few minutes later another physician and intern came in (can’t remember their names) to ask more details, discuss my MRI, and conduct a few basic strength tests. A few minutes later Dr. Winter came in (with the other physician), to thoroughly discuss my MRI, conduct more extensive strength tests, discuss several options and their pros & cons, answer all of my questions, and Dr. Winter explained why the studies & research shows a tear of my magnitude is best corrected with fixation surgery (studies show 40%, mine is 60%). Throughout the entire visit there was never any pressure to make a decision. After I chose surgery he showed me a 3-minute video showing and explaining the procedure (which for me was a review). I spent my career as a medical sales rep doing cases with surgeons in ortho, spine, neuro, CV, CMF, podiatry, etc. so I trust Dr. Winter’s judgement, knowledge, experience, and professionalism. I will write another review with updates after my surgery and rehab.

I've had pain in my rt. hip and lower back for 1 1/2 years and went to 9 doctors and many more visits to them. I had multiple Xrays, MRI's, Ultrasound and examinations. The various diagnoses included soft tissue tears, a lipoma, arthritis and others. One Doctor found a tear in by Labrum (hip). Dr. Winder looked at my hip Mri and another xray and ruled out all of the above. He said I had Trochanteric Bursitis, my arthritis nor that tear would cause my symptoms. He was correct. With a cortesone injection, applying a Diclovenac Solution, I'm feeling much better and can now walk longer distances. I start physical therapy next week. But Dr. Winder knows what he's talking about and my wife and others wonder why no other Doctors could find out the cause sooner. I wish I could give him 10 stars!

Making an appt via phone was quick & easy. Natalie reminded me to bring a hard copy of my X-rays & to fill out the registration paperwork online so I'd only have to arrive 15 mins early. Once there, the staff was super nice & helpful, from the front desk to the nurses to Dr. Connor (don't remember his last name, sorry) & Dr. Winder—who both thoroughly explained their diagnoses & subsequent remedies—and Alex who administered my injection. Check out was just as quick & easy, and they even called me before I left the parking lot because I'd forgotten my water bottle. (Thank y'all again!) Plenty of parking, nice staff, attentive doctors, clean facility. I'll gladly be back for my follow-up.

Dr. Winder is amazing! I’ve been dealing with a messed up shoulder for 2 years and finally decided to go back and try to get it fixed. it took 2 visits to get surgery scheduled and i’m so excited to have a working shoulder again
