Dr Woodworth was amazing, I had several pain in my right hip where I couldn’t walk or sit in a comfortable position. He took time to speak with me and ask questions without feeling rushed. Looked at my X-ray and where the pain was located. And told me I have bursitis gave me a Cortisone shot in my hip. The next day I could walk with hardly no pain it’s getting better each day. I’m 48 and very active thanks for getting me back to walking and hopefully running next week.

Dr. Woodworth did a hip replacement for me approximately 12 years ago. He is absolutely the best, and as I tell people, he can walk on water. I had been to other orthopedic surgeons and was told I needed a total knee replacement due to past surgeries. When I met with Dr.Woodworth he explained why I did not need a total knee replacement and discussed other options for my knee surgery.

I limped into Desert Orthopedic Center yesterday and walked out feeling like a new person. It took some time to get my appointment, but once I arrived, the care I received was exceptional.

Kelly, one of Dr. Woodworth’s assistants, was incredibly accommodating and kind. Marcos got me squared away quickly with a cortisone shot that made a world of difference.

Dr. Woodworth wanted additional images of my knee, and fortunately, the facility had radiology services right on-site. That made it quick and easy to get the four images he needed without having to leave the building or reschedule.

It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Woodworth. His expertise and professionalism immediately put me at ease. He has helped my family before, and now I understand why my wife told me to expect the best — because that’s exactly what I received.

I have been dealing with knee issues for quite awhile- finally made an appointment to get checked out. Desert Orthopaedic Center was recommended by a colleague. Dr. Woodworth was absolutely awesome! Two 👍 👍 up. For my first visit it was wonderful. The staff was nice. I was called into the room quick xrays done there and didn't wait long at all for them. Had a little wait for the Dr but it was worth it. He was so engaged on me and details on what he saw on the results and what options I have for relief. I was a medical assistant before so my expectations are different from a normal patient. They were fast and some people take that as it would be an assembly line. Well not at all the Dr was direct to the point walked me through everything he was doing step by step, and did the procedure right away not even leaving the room and making me wait another day or he leaving the room and making me wait for the procedure. UPDATED: Dr Woodworth performed left hip replacement surgery on me three weeks ago. Since then, my recovery has been truly amazing. I have no pain anymore and I can walk without a walker.
Dr. Woodworth is very attentive, caring, and easy to talk to. His diagnosis and the guidance on my hip joint problem was very clear and he made it quite understandable without using clinical language. This doctor is an amazing, caring and gifted orthopedic surgeon I feel very blessed indeed to have him as my orthopedic surgeon.

Last thing someone wants to hear is...hip replacement! Scared, confused and sick and tired of being in excruciating pain, I was referred to Dr.Woodworth, and I'm so glad I was. Dr. Woodworth took as much time as I needed to explain ALL my options to me, including not having the surgery and what all those would look (feel) like. I felt SEEN AND HEARD from the time I hobbled into their office. The doc was able to reassure me and calm me down, and I honestly felt hopeful leaving his office. I injured my knee during a training class & was in a great deal of pain & could barely walk on it. I asked my Dr for a referral to a “knee”‘specialist & he referred me to Dr. WOODWORTH. I came to Doctor Woodworth for a second opinion cus my last Orthopedic I felt like he didn’t really care for my treatment the way he was non-chalant and just told me a needed surgery. He didn’t even exam me and just said I needed surgery. First thing Doctor Woodworth said to me was, “I treat patients and not MRI’s.” The rest of the time he spent examining my injury thoroughly and giving me a live play by play what was happening and I can feel what he meant and did many more things that provide me an exceptional understanding of what was happening with my injury. He then gave me what he would do if he was me at my age. Then gave me other options as well as pros and cons of all options. We wrote a plan together that I agreed with and felt way better about it. He was also a genuine person and has a welcoming presence. My initial visit definitely deserves a 5 star.

Went to see doctor Woodworth in February 2022 I finally agreed to have surgery on October 2022 he said everything went well But in February I started noticing a different pain and I kept telling them about it They didn't have any idea they just kept taking x-rays said oh it looks good I did my own research and found out I was allergic to the prosthetic he never asked me if I had any metal allergies and I have known since 1990 I have had a metal allergies. In my opinion he is narcissistic due to the fact he does not care about his patients he only cares about himself. I have told many doctors where he works because they have some excellent doctors there I've been going to that facility for more than 20 years. The plan now is seeing the new doctor and hes going to have to do a revisto get the peace out that is Causing skin reaction and pain I have more pain now than I did before Woodworth touched my shoulder I am a medical professional and I do know how to do research for I worked for a University school. I have spoke with several doctors in the last 2 months about what is going on in my shoulder and they all agree it needs to be gone because I'm getting too sick I'm getting chronic fatigue , the swelling in my arm is so painful I can even carry a cup of tea without severe pain. As far as my job goes they classified me as disabled and can no longer work. I am hoping with my new surgeon he can correct this and maybe I could go back to work . A little snafu with arriving time otherwise little waiting time, X-rays were done on-site and Dr was very efficient, provided a great explanation of what was wrong and steps to correct. Staff I dealt with were very friendly and accommodating.
