Getting someone to answer the phone can be challenging. Dr JiJi is very sensitive to her Patients needs and concerns. She listens without interruption, she is always patient and makes sure the patient understands next steps , instructions, etc . Highly recommend her .

The doctor herself is a pleasant individual, but the office is highly unresponsive. I went nearly 5 months without the medication I was prescribed by her with zero follow-ups or return calls to my numerous messages left with their faulty answering service. I even went in and personally left a message for the doctor that was written down by the receptionist because I was having such a hard time getting my prescription and there was still no follow-up. There was no contact until my next appointment and needless to say, I was pretty bitter. It felt like a money grab to me. Like patients are no longer important after the check clears for their appointment.

Las Vegas Heart Associates and Las Vegas healthcare, in general, needs an overhaul. Unfortunately, my experience with this clinic affects Dr. Jiji's rating, but it is higher than what I am giving the actual clinic.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Jiji because I was told by the scheduling staff that she was knowledgeable about POTS and treated the condition. However, that is not the case. She told me that the only thing I could do for POTS was to exercise more, when I asked how I was supposed to do that when I could barely stand up sometimes, she got really defensive and agitated. I later asked for a prescription for compression socks and a walker because I had learned that they could be helpful for POTS symptom management and mobility, in an attempt to be more active. She denied both requests saying 1. I needed a diagnosis for the compression socks (I have a positive tilt table test confirming POTS but apparently that wasn't good enough for her), 2. She said compression socks are only prescribed for edema or swelling in the legs and I did not have that diagnosis (compression socks are prescribed for POTS all the time), and 3. She, as the specialist, couldn't give me the prescriptions because they needed to come from my primary care physician. I changed care to a different specialist who immediately prescribed compression socks for my POTS without me asking for it and informed me that exercise, in my case, is not the answer. So it seems that Dr. Jiji is not knowledgeable about POTS or she just didn't want to help me....either way it was a terrible experience where I felt like I had to defend myself and I felt like I was inconveniencing her day. I would not recommend her.

I arrived to my appointment, was promptly triaged and roomed and Dr Jiji was in within 10 minutes. The MA was very thorough as well, and had an excellent, calming bedside manner.

I am very skeptical of medical care in Vegas due to personal experiences, but Dr Jiji will now be on my short list of extraordinary providers in Las Vegas that I trust and would send Family/Friends to. Went in for a second opinion on an echocardiogram/abnormal ekg. Dr. Jiji was incredible. Took great patience and detail in explaining everything. Literally taking out a 3d heart model to point things out while talking.

Dr. Jiji is amazing. I had been told by many doctors that my blood pressure was high but she was the only one to actually do something about it. She was also the first person to kindly but honestly suggest I lose some weight. I already knew this of course but she was the only doctor to say something to me about it and I think I really needed to hear it. I'm working now on cleaning up my diet, starting some exercise, and taking care of another health issue I have been neglecting. She explained to me how that would impact my high blood pressure in a way that made sense and compelled me to take action. I'm actually really grateful I met her now before my health situation got any worse. I feel optimistic with her guidance I have an opportunity to turn things around. The rest of the staff at the office were all super nice like Dr. Jiji. The wait time was very short and the office is nice and clean.

Dr JiJi is a very caring and compassionate doctor. She goes way and beyond for her patient’s.. She takes the time to listen and is not in a rush. I’m very blessed to have her as my cardiologist. Highly recommend to my friends and family.

First visit with Dr Jiji.
I am so pleased that I have found a cardiologist that listens. My case is very unique as I live in Texas and no cardiologist will cover my workers comp such forces me to come to Vegas annually for my work up. Dr Jiji is working with my PC doc in Corpus Christi to insure I'm receiving the best care possible. Her bedside manner, attention to detail and thoroughness is second to none.
Can't wait to see her next year.

She was wonderful. I was very very nervous because it was the first time ever going to a cardiologist and she immediately called me down and explained in detail everything that was going on with me. Dr Gigi seemed very very a professional confident knowledgeable and I'm glad I found her as a Dr.
