Dr. Luss actually takes the time to listen to the patient. He then discusses which treatment option would be best and involves the patient in the decision. He is calm and makes you feel comfortable discussing anything that is needed.

The worse doctor I have ever encountered at sunrise hospital, I wouldn’t recommend him to treat any human being or animal for that matter. Filling a complaint & seeking a lawyer for medical malpractice & deformation, has little concern for his patients & is very disrespectful.

I had recent stay at Sunrise hospital and am a complicated case. Dr. Luss went above and beyond to get me the treatment I needed in the hospital as well as at home treatment once I was discharged. I highly recommend him. Not many doctors would have went the extra mile to help their patients like Dr. Luss did for me! Thank you so much Dr. Luss!

Fabulous Dr. Finally a Dr that hears & Listens to me ..if He says it....he does it and he follows up too. Dr Luss my a lasting impression on my roommate too... she's considering changing to him too...I do know Dr Luss is a fantastic much needed Doctor....

I had the unfortunate experience of having Dr. Luss as my day Doctor in the emergency room at Sunrise Hospital on Oct 30, Dr. Luss deprived me of seeing a specialist even though I was in excruciating pain with a stuck kidney stone, Not only did he deprive of my rights to see a specialist , he actually never came over to even see me. The two Doctors on the night shift both agreed that I should see a specialist then Dr. Luss comes in on the day shift, and overrides both of them, while never actually coming over to see me, to ask me how I was feeling, nothing at all from him. My Doctor had told me if I had any issues with my kidney stone I was to go to the emergency room asap, Dr. Luss wanted to know why I didn’t go see my doctor, and why did I go to the ER.
I had surgery three days later, if Dr. Luss would have had some compassion and had actually allowed me to see a specialist that day, and actually had come over to see me in the ER I would have had surgery the next morning, but he made me suffer instead.
I do not recommend this Doctor at all.

Dr. Luss Doesn't call people back to update a patients current situation. Only giving him 1 star because its bot possible to give him one half star. We have waited for over a week and still haven't heard one word. Completely disrespectful to the family of a patient.

My husband saw Dr. Luss in Sunrise hospital yesterday and he was so professional, took the time to answer all our questions, and when he was released today and I had an issue with his sugar after surgery I called his office and within 15 minutes I got a call back and help with what to do. Doctors don't do that anymore! We were very impressed with him and seriously considering switching doctors.

Horrible experience with Dr. Luss! My dad has been submitted in a rehab facility for almost a month and haven't even met our spoken to Dr.Luss once. Employee at facility paged him and left him messages and never received a call back. Employee also stated that his contact info can not be given out which is BS. I don't recommend this Doctor at all if you can request someone else!
