The dentist himself was great.
The staff are liars. I spoke with them on the phone three times before my visit and sent my insurance card via email a month before the appointment. I called my insurance company to make sure I understood the policy. I did everything in my power to make sure I had an accurate quote of what my visit was going to be.
Lauren, the front desk staffer, told me she would call me back in a couple days with a quote. She never did. I waited two weeks and had to follow up with her myself. She then said the visit I was scheduled for would be $99 and my insurance would reduce it by $39, so I would pay $60. (I later misremembered this number as $69). She did not make a distinction between an exam and x-rays and told me this would be the entire cost for the visit.
When I got there they tried charging me more than $200 because she had given me the wrong quote and intentionally left out the cost for x-rays, which were not included. They refused to honor the price I was quoted for the visit. Even with other discounts, they still charged me $164. When I was upset by this bait-and-switch, they told me to lower my voice, as though their other patients shouldn’t get to know about their dishonest billing practices as well.
Edward Ruggeroli was a good doctor. He gave me good care. His staff are liars and swindlers. Even if Lauren was just grossly incompetent and quoted me the wrong price by accident, they should have taken accountability for her mistake and honored that price.
I understand that my insurance isn’t that good and that it would likely be expensive. That’s why I was trying so hard to figure out how much it was going to be ahead of time. The problem isn’t the prices they charge, it’s that they lied about it.
I hope the doctor reads this review and that there is some kind of consequence for the staff who engaged in these unethical practices.

Don't know how best to describe my experience. Dr. Ed's staff made room for me in less than 2 hours notice even though I was a new patient. I had an extremely sore upper left wisdom tooth that began hurting the previous afternoon to the point of not being able to eat the day I was seen.
I waited less than 5 minutes in the office before Corrina took me in to begin x-rays. I felt so comforted. Dr. Ed came in shortly after the X-rays were taken, did his exam, and said that wisdom tooth is causing advanced gum problems; it has to go! 30 minutes later I was driving home! This morning I am miraculously free of pain and without any swelling whatsoever sans meds! Following post extraction directions to a "T"! Soooo grateful!!!! Dr. Ed and his staff are actually angels sent from heaven disguised as dental care providers.

Dr Ed Ruggerolli has been my dental care provider since the 90’s. He is the best! Great chair side manner, explains what he is doing and why, is compassionate and the dental work is spot on! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr Ed and his team. Emily who is my dental hygienist is top notch as well. Nobody likes getting their teeth worked on but this group does it at superlative level?

I signed up as a new patient based on high recommendation. I'm sure they are great. My spouse and I had to wait a month to get our appts. I received a call a day prior saying they don't accept my insurance (Aetna). I'm sure they are good, my issue is with the process.

So Ive been going to Dr. Rugerroli for about a year and he is so good with his patients. Him and his staff are all wonderful. Ive been dealing with tooth aches , cavaties & wisdom teeth for awhile and one tooth had to get taken out so they referred me over to a wonderful clinic called canyon oral and face surgery. I really want to thank Dr . Rugerroli for being so patient with me and getting me the help I need & also a thank you again to his staff. My experience has been rough due to my personal life issues but whenever I need a teeth cleaning or anything done with my teeth they always make it pleasant and calm like experience. I highly recommend family and friends to this doctor!
