This was my first time at Shepherd Eye Center. It was a very easy process. I scheduled online and filled out the paperwork on line. They sent me reminders of my appointment which is always appreciated. The check in process was simple, the wait time was minimal, all the testing, questions and preparations for the doctor were done before seeing her. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I made an appointment two weeks ago, I gave them my insurance information 3 times once while scheduling my appointment, once online for pre-check in, and at check in. Shepard was well aware of my insurance carrier, once at the appointment, I waited for 15 minutes. Then I was informed by one of their associates that my insurance was not accepted at their office. I ask why was I not informed of this previously before I wasted my time and gas getting here. They could not give me an answer. Instead they gave me information for their sister company, which possible may accept my insurance. I walked out. I expect competency at any medical or dental facility, but obviously I was wrong about this place This place doesn't deserve one star but I had to rate it to post this review.

I came to this office for a third opinion on an issue I was having with my eye. I saw Dr. Rosen. He was extremely thorough and allowed me to ask any and as many questions I wanted. The scheduling person was very nice and one of the newer doctors had availability the next day. I saw a young Dr. Dang. He was very good. Too many musical chairs. Unnecessary waiting. My time is very valuable to me and my employer. Punctuality is extreamly important to me. In addition to this, the sign in process is less than desirable for a new person. No instructions and the people up front seemed bothered when asked. Also, I was not aware that my eyes were going to get dilated. This should be told up front so I'm better prepared with transportation leaving your office. One last thing, your address should come through on your notifications especially having multiple locations. Otherwise, the Doc and the team were good.

I had a vision issue-I contacted Shepherd Eye Center Centennial Hills and was able to get an appointment to see Dr. David Rosen the next day-I had seen floaters and my son is an ophthalmologist-he said I needed to see an ophthalmologist within 2 days to set a baseline and make sure my retina was not going to detach.

Check in at the kiosk took quite awhile as there was a line, and the person using the kiosk was having trouble. It’s a busy office, so there was a lot of waiting. Staff and customer service: The FO staff member, Kim, was very helpful with the sign-in kiosk. Dr. Rosen, Michelle, and Angela were knowledgeable and informative about services and purchase options.

Facilities and equipment: I had been going to a small eye clinic, and the facility was modern and had state-of-the-art equipment. You'd think Shepherd Eye Center would, too, since they are a large organization and have many locations.

I went in to examine a spot in my eye. I was very nervous going in. When I arrived Most everyone was nice and reassuring. The check in process was confusing at first and the front staff seemed a little stressed out. I was warned ahead of time to plan on being there for 2 hours. So the staff here are great, when you enter the door you have to input your insurance info and data on one of 2 machines located on left and right side of door, read the signs on either machine so you pick right one, you will see 3 or 4 specialists before reaching eye doctor, I spent 2 and half hours here, specialists are very friendly and happy, Eye doctor very quick, no time for chit chat, her exam lasted maybe a minute.

This is the best place for eye care.

I was dealing with intense eye pain and went to the ER twice in one week, only to leave both times without answers or help. Every eye doctor I called was either booked for weeks or didn’t take my insurance. After days of searching, I found this office and called, desperate for help. They got me in the very next morning.
From check-in to care, every person I interacted with was kind, patient, and reassuring. The staff made me feel genuinely cared for, and I left feeling supported and finally on the path to healing. They even provided emergency contact info and made sure I knew they were there if I needed anything,

I will not be going back to this facility. Over 2 hrs and 6 people around me feel the same way. 35 minutes and someone comes and gets you for eye test back to waiting room, 25 minutes later someone gets you and dilate eyes pressure test back to waiting area 30 minutes to see doctor. They take my insurance but I can’t get glasses there and no support on where to get them. Awful experience for the last two appointments. NEVER AGAIN.

It’s interesting to me that although Dr Ravi is a somewhat pleasant fellow, he emanates a quiet subtle condescension,which does get under my skin a bit. Not instigated his interjections in any way..,subtle though they may be..I assume it’s the same loftiness many medical practitioners seem to eminate..an unfortunate common ground within the profession. I would not recommend Shepherd Eye to anyone. I took my elderly Mother for her annual visit. We were left waiting for over a half an hour without anyone checking on us. People that arrived much later than we did were seen and left. After I inquired about the status of seeing the Dr no one knew what was going on. All were confused. Her chart was left with a technician just sitting there as it was being ignored. It was a terrible experience and we had to leave without completing the appointment

Unlike my previous experience at a different facility, both Dr. Ravi Reddy and the technical staff were thorough, caring and professional. At my previous visit last June, I was told that the problem I experienced would be diagnosed and treated during my next visit in January, 2026. I recently had an eye irritant and returned to Shepherd eye center where their doctors are very caring and understanding and take a moment to help you understand what your issue is and recommend things to help you. I was very pleased with the entire experience. I didn’t have any personal contact with the front desk, but I was sitting right there and was able to see the way they interacted with other patients. They were very patient and helpful. But my personal experience was exceptional. From the first eye testing to my interaction with Dr. Peterson. Excellent. They got me in much sooner than I anticipated which was nice! Dr Ho seems very experienced and thorough in his examinations and I have much confidence in him. he detected a detached retina over a year ago and immediately got me to a retinal surgeon for treatment. Therefore, I would highly recommend Dr Ho and the shepherd Eye Center at the Centennial office.

The first center tried to persuade me that I needed cataract surgery asap for the tube of 10K after my testing and meeting with the Shepard Doc I was informed my cataracts were so small and could easily be corrected with new glasses not surgery to the tube if $600

I needed a DMV form signed by an eye doctor so that I could renew my driver license. I needed a current eye check since my previous eye exam was more than 90 days past. The wonderful receptionist understood my problem immediately and she had me in and out in 30 minutes complete with eye check and signatures on the DMV form. I was extremely pleased.

Great appointment. Check in was ez, dropped my dri. license & then my insurance card in the kiosk & was checked in, didn't speak with anyone. Called me shortly afterwards went back & had some tests done. Took a seat, they called me again & Dr. Ho saw me a few minutes later. He checked a few things, gave me a scrip, answered all my questions & I left feeling much better. All in all could not ask for more.

The reason for the 3 stars is because I made my appointment with Dr Reddy and they put me with some other Dr. This Dr said I need to see a specialist and I will not see this specialist until October. The staff was nice but the wait was unacceptable. I showed up 20 minutes early for a 2:10 appointment, wasn't even seen until 2:50. I didn't actually see the Dr. until past 4pm (not even the Dr. that I was scheduled to see). I asked a couple times when I will be seen so I'm sure the Dr. knew because as soon as I saw him he was showering me with complements. Cool but not what I'm here for, especially not after waiting 2 hours. Insane. I had my spouse leave early from work to pick me up since my eyes were going to be dilated... I waited so long I was able to drive home. Cmon yall. Do better.

I would give Shepherd Eye Center ten stars if I could. Their reception area is efficient and the staff are friendly. But the doctors and technicians really make Shepherd Eye Center extra special I started going there in 2014 and I saw Dr. Tuchina Reddy. She is outstanding - so gentle, soft spoken, and an incredibly talented doctor. I needed to have an eye lift and Dr. Ravi Reddy did the surgery. He, too, is an exceptional surgeon and my eye lift was perfect. After seven years with them, we moved away for four years. When we came back, Dr. Tuchina Reddy remembered us! My husband has another health issue and Dr. Reddy had some suggestions for making sure his eyes stay healthy - things that we never would have thought to do. I've heard so many horror stories about other eye doctors in Las Vegas and I am so grateful that I found Shepherd Eye Center right away when we moved here.

They didn't tell me at front desk there was a co-pay with my new insurance. When the homeless looking guy took me back and told me I asked to go to front desk and have them explain. They told me my new insurance didn't cover it.
To make matters worse They canceled my appoint and said I had to get another. I wasn't angry I was just perplexed. I would have loved to have known this before I went in. Others do so why not you. Oh well.
It was a learning experience for sure.

I really like this practice, especially pleased with Dr. Reddy, he seems really tuned in to what my specific issues are, also remembered me from last visit, or at least took time to look at notes before seeing me this time. It is very busy with lots of patients, but that potentially negative experience is far outweighed by competence of Dr. Reddy. I saw his wife initially and felt the same about her.
