Office is very clean and nice. Love they have water and coffee if you want. They make you feel welcome. All the nurses are nice and helpful. They doctor is so nice and helpful with any questions and I went it for a bump removal it was an easy procedure and the after treatment was good. And he was very helpful for my skin too my new medicine that he gave has helped a lot can’t wait to take my teenager here so they can get help with anything they want or need. We have very sensitive skin and I love how caring and helpful they all are! Love that they even have a pharmacy in the office also!

The person working at the front desk today, 4/22/26, does not know how to do her job and is very rude. I have come here before for my acne treatment, and everything had gone smoothly with my Medicare—until today. Now, the woman claims I have to pay $100 if I want to be seen; she offered very little explanation as to why, and when I refused to pay—since I have medical insurance specifically for this purpose—she simply canceled my appointment. I canceled all my plans this morning just to arrive on time for my appointment, only for her to waste my time without even offering a convincing explanation. Do not come here, and do not waste your time at this place.

I love my doctor (PA), Cyril, but ever since I've been going here and had cancer last year - been here a ton, the front desk and nurses are NOT friendly and make you feel like you are burdening them by existing and asking questions. No one smiles or is friendly. If it weren't for Cyril, I would have switched dermatologists a long time ago. I don't understand why the nurses are so unfriendly and reception never greets you and they're all just really rude and unwelcoming.

I was very happy with doctor Joseph's treatment of mine and my daughters. Skin issues, he is very knowledgeable. The only issue that I had that I was unhappy about is that they wanted to keep a card on file. And I did not like that. I don't have any problems paying my bills. And I am tired of every place. Wanting my card and they don't accept cash at all.

I had a biopsy done today with Dr. Joseph. I had a biopsy done on my toenail and the injection of the lidocaine was extremely painful. I’m reading other experiences on Reddit now and I’m disappointed to realize they could have made the injection a lot less painful for me by providing some numbing meditation to my toe before injection. Now I’m thinking about it it’s usually standard protocol but it wasn’t offered hence 4 stars.

Service with MD was great. Billing practices disorganized. inappropriately billing past a year of service without any prior notice. Absolutely, ridiculous. Automatically deducted the money despite being unable to provide appropriate and timely information. Stated insurance didn’t cover something.. yet, I no longer had that insurance, and it had been OVER a year since date of service.

During the covid shut down it was hard to get into any Dr office without a 3 to 5 month wait. I called and told them my husband's symptoms which I suspected was skin cancer. I was so thrilled they they saw him within 2 weeks. It was the first of 10 skin cancers to follow within the next 13 months. Today I went in for my own skin issue. This place double and triple books. We walked in and not one chair was available. People had to wait outside. It’s been over an hour and still haven’t been called back. I can’t say enough about this place. I’m in my 40’s and recently started developing growths on my face and a skin tag on my eyelid. The little growths were something I just got used to but the skin tag started getting bigger and actually was imposing on my right eye sight. So I called around a few places and did some research. I was very pleased with how this place was able to give me a accurate quote over the phone and even get me in for treatment in the same week that I called. They called me in right when my appt was scheduled and started working on me immediately. I was in and out within a hour and I’m very happy with everything. Dr Cyril and his assistant Nelly were both professional and made me very comfortable. This place will be my “go-to” dermotology place from now on.

Won’t be back. The receptionist female was extremely rude saying she couldn’t see me when I had not had second insurance card in hand. The the other guy says he needed credit card on file. I said you don’t have permission to charge me anything. I get email saying charging me 09/11 I’m cancelling my card. You need to bill the secondary insurance the one that was deleted at reception desk. Female bigger girl was extremely rude and running her mouth. dr didn’t want to treat my other things like he says he would. So I’m never going to that rude office. Waste of my time. Don’t care to hear your lame auto response. Maybe have your her supervisor call me!! That would have been the correct course of action instead of giving me your lame excuse. Already canceled my HSA card cause you will not be charging me. I took my daughter to this doctor because she was experiencing issues with her scalp. On the first appointment that we went to he barely examined her scalp to see what the issue was. Instead, he prescribed her a shampoo and a scalp medication. The follow up visit was even worse. He didn’t even examine her scalp to see if there was any improvement on the scalp or anything. I asked him, how can you effectively treat a patient if you don’t examine them. I doubt very seriously that he is a board certified dermatologist. After doing further research, I realized that he is just a physician assistant. Not sure how I missed that one, lesson learned for sure. Definitely canceling the next appointment and finding another doctor.

As I walked in for appointment I want to go sign in and the guy was very rude I gave him my information no customer service whatsoever I don't understand why the guy was being so rude 👿😭 I was just answering the questions he was asking but yeah he continues to be rude I have no idea why he was being a smart aleck especially when one of his co-workers left the room cuz she was talking really nice to me. This is not a: send a 5 star review and receive free products. Many reviews are spot on Yelp. I read so many that are just like mine. After more than eight years as a loyal client, I’m deeply disappointed to say that I will not be returning. Like many others have mentioned in their reviews, the PAs are wonderful, but the front desk staff—especially Kim—have completely ruined the experience. I have never encountered someone so rude, dismissive, and demeaning in a professional setting. It’s disheartening that a place I once trusted has allowed such unprofessional behavior to continue unchecked. I truly feel for the doctors, who may have no idea why they’re losing long-time patients. Unfortunately, until this issue is addressed, I cannot recommend this office to anyone and will be warning others in my industry to stay away.

Bad management. They force you to put a credit card on file, which is saved in their system. For a one time visit- why should a credit card be saved in their system???
They were running fairly on time, which I appreciate but the patient room was a mess. There was a clean paper/plastic sheet on the patient table but the area were the sink is - was complete disaster and the trash can was overflowing. The staff that i interacted with were friendly. Overall score is because they force you to put a credit card on file which is saved in their system (even for a one time visit).

I have been a patient here many times before for moles and they WERE awesome, past tense. This is no longer true. Now they are awesome at wasting your time and not caring about your current medical ailment due to nonsense issues. As soon as I moved to Texas, my insurance changed to a Texas based HMO. I moved back again to Hebderson and decided to go back to the dermatologist I went to prior. Unfortunately, they asked for my insurance, I told them I only had HMO in Texas and I wanted to pay out of pocket. I wanted them to have my money, but they only wanted my insurance card apparently. Your money is not as good as insurance apparently. They said well let's give the Texas HMO a try. Why do that I thought? Its Texas based, HMO, and will not work out of the state unless in emergency. So even though I knew this, I thought maybe they knew something I didn't know, and gave them my insurance. From there they said sorry we cannot see you. Why I asked. Well, they said because you have a Texad based HMO and first need to get a referral from your primary. I told them please look at the policy, that's not possible. It is Texas based and I can get an in network in state referral, but not out of state out of network referral. They said they needed to talk to management. I said here take my credit card, charge me for what you want, but they said they can't because they will get in trouble if they don't have a referral. They apparently don't understand how out of state HMO insurance works, and I even told them it's cancelled this my last month because I moved back to Nevada, next month my Nevada insurance becomes active so we are delaying this appointment when all I want to do is give you my money, no insurance needed at all. I good them charge what you want. Nope. So I had to leave because they couldn't accept my cash or credit payment (or any non insurance payment) due to me having an out of state insurance. They let someone in medical discomfort and begging to pay them whatever they want out pocket leave. I can never return to a place like this that is so inept and bewildering. No thanks.

They demanded an arbitration agreement and would deny health care without it. This means you forfeit all access to conventional litigation regardless of what happens you you at their hands in the event of malpractice. Then when I arrived ready to pay the entire co-pay, they demanded the effect of a blank check on the patients credit card for them to take what they want at their exclusive discretion without consensus from the patient first. Regardless of any empty promises that they make not to take money from your credit card that they have on file, they have access to it and this is always at their discretion. Once you give them your credit card information, the credit card company will take the merchant's side if the merchant is of the position that they should have the money and they decide to take it. We have all been screwed over by individuals and business alike.

Had a very bad experience at first, I booked an appointment online and had a confirmation for my appointment. A day before my appointment I received a call telling me that the day that I was supposed to come in is over booked and I need to reschedule. Well, I’m glad that I didn’t look for another clinic and just rescheduled.

I’ve been a patient for 4 years. The doctor is good. He treats me and my conditions and is friendly and professional. The lady at the front desk is not welcoming. She doesn’t greet me, and if I ask questions she doesn’t look at me, seems bothered I ask to pay and uses 1 word answers I don’t know medical coding language. She is not helpful and makes me feel like I shouldn’t be coming there. The bathroom also isn’t kept up well. There sometimes is barely any soap or no soap at all. There aren’t toilet seat protectors and it’s just barely clean enough.

This office continues to have a problem successfully adding patients' credit card numbers to their system. This is the 3rd year this has happened, and as their receptionist said, "it happens all the time". Even worse, since their system failed, they would not honor my appointment today and said I need to reschedule. So, I will no longer be attending this location and I will reschedule with a new provider that can properly manage their office functions.

If you are going to be paying for ur treatment SAVE YOUR RECIEPT!!! I got a bill for my visit when I paid everything there n then, luckily I save ALL RECIEPTS. I dont know if i was purposefully being charged again, or they are horrible at record keeping.

The first time I recieved this bill, i called and billing department was down. The office said the billing department would call me again. I wait 2 days, and nothing so I call back, recieve the same story about the department being down, wait 3 days. Dnt get a call back despite them telling me once again they would. Waited a 3 weeks, and NO CALL BACK!

I call again and finally they are operating, the first lady on the phone said I needed to send them the copy of my reciepts because they couldnt find anything. I email it, and the 2nd lady on the phone miraculously was able to find the files and was an "error on their end" (Hence why im not even sure if i was getting sent an extra bill for something I had already paid for by mistake, or to milk more money out of me).

Will never be back, save your reciepts if you decide to go here.

I normally don't leave reviews but I am going to be completely honest. My son had a in-office procedure done this morning. The doctor actually did the last procedure, but today, someone else did it. Short, young lady. I was extremely dissatisfied with the treatment my son got to the point where I had to come home and finish the treatment myself.

My son has bad acne around the chin area and the doctor took some Q-tips and a very thin needle to squeeze the acne out because they were so deeply imbedded in that area. He did a wonderful job on the first side. I could literally see the acne that came out during the first procedure. It was a lot and I felt like the doctor took his time and really cared about my son’s skin care.

The second time, someone else did it today; an short you lady of Asian descent. I was wondering why the doctor wasn't doing it but I was not satisfied at all. I feel like the appointment was rushed, she did not do it correctly like I've seen the doctor do it. Absolutely NO acne came out, just a little blood on the Q-tip and it seems that the area was the exact same after we left. Nothing different. My son said he felt no pain, which he did with the doctor because the doctor got deep in there to get the acne out.

So I went home and remembered how the doctor did it and took a few Q-tips and squeezed what I could get out because it had an open area from the needle. Low and behold, a ton of it came out! These were big so I didn't understand why nothing came out at the appointment. I squeezed a bunch out, put alcohol on it and bandaged it up. It was unbelievable how I had to do her job. It seems like she was in a rush or didn't care as much, but I pay good money for my insurance! It is top notch and I expect top notch service for the premium I pay.

The doctor is awesome! I just wish he would have done the job instead of his assistant today. I hate to give this review but I felt like it needed to be addressed. I hope she is trained properly after someone reviews this.

I visited this institution seeking help to treat my severe eczema. I have it throughout my whole body. This is my first time in my life getting professional help because my at home remedies were not working, and I had suspicions of having psoriasis. Checking in was smooth and the receptionists were attentive and kind. The wait time was minimal, and the medical assistants were also nice and conducted a general evaluation on me. About five minutes later I was greeted by Physician Cyril who eased my anxiety and made my visit tolerable. I received a steroid shot and was prescribed some creams to be picked up later in the day. I saw immediate results- my skin cleared up and my itch is relieved. If you are thinking of coming here, you do need a physician’s referral which I failed to provide the first time scheduling. Overall, the Henderson location is organized, clean, friendly, and pleasant.

I have been a patient at Skin and Cancer Institute for several months now, and while the medical staff and treatments are outstanding, my experience has been repeatedly marred by the abysmal behavior of the front desk receptionist, Kimmy. Her rude and dismissive attitude is completely unacceptable for any professional environment, especially a healthcare setting.

On multiple occasions, I have been treated with blatant disrespect by Kimmy. Her one-word answers and condescending tone make every interaction feel like an imposition. Most recently, I had an urgent need to speak with someone at the front desk. To my utter disbelief, I witnessed Kimmy actively hiding from me. She slipped behind a partition, clearly hoping I wouldn't notice her. When she finally emerged, it was only to rudely tell me, "Busy," before disappearing again without addressing my concern.

This behavior is not only unprofessional but also deeply unsettling. Patients come to this office seeking care and compassion, not to be treated as a nuisance. It’s baffling how someone with such poor interpersonal skills could be entrusted with a role that requires frequent customer interaction.

Despite the excellent care I receive from the dermatologists, Kimmy's constant rudeness and lack of basic courtesy make every visit unpleasant. It is high time the management addresses this issue, as her conduct severely tarnishes the reputation of an otherwise exemplary practice. If this continues, I will be forced to seek dermatological care elsewhere, as no patient should have to endure such treatment.

I implore the management to take immediate action and consider the significant impact Kimmy’s behavior has on patient satisfaction and the overall atmosphere of the office. The front desk is the first point of contact for any patient, and having someone as unwelcoming as Kimmy sets a terrible tone for what should be a comforting and professional experience.

Overall, I usually have a good experience. This last time I needed a biopsy on my ear. The tech inserted the needle into my ear without warning, and the lidocaine stung really bad. The needle was inserted three times with no warning. I would just suggest that there be more communication on the steps for this procedure and a warning to the patient before something that is pretty painful happens.

Took my daughter for her first appointment and had to wait 1 hour before being call. As a new patient, that is not a good impression. The staff was good, but something needs to be done to lower the waiting time. If I have a 3pm appointment, and I have to wait until 4pm to get seen, then schedule me for 4. Whether there is double bookings, or just plain fall behind, at least let the patients know something. A simple “the doctor will be with you shortly” can put someone’s mind at ease.

Was an amazing experience. First time being there to get my Skyrizi after missing my 4 week mark injection due to loosing my job and the dr thankfully had samples to get me started!!! This is the best doctor I have ever came across here in Las Vegas. I have 9 specialist and he has by far been the most diligent at treating my condition, concerns and everything that I come to see him about. I have really been doing bad with my health and to know atleast one of my specialist are doing things right helps me feel better a little. It was my first day at this dermatology group. Close to home the gals were very nice. Very helpful. However, Cyril Joseph was like selling me on a biopsy tried to find something g wrong with my scalp when I had 5yrs of follow ups and they would freeze spray the affected areas. You r not a salesman , Listen to your first time patients. Listen to all your patients. Even though I have a follow up in January I am not sure about this assistant. If it ain't broke u don't fix it until it's necessary. Hence the biopsy. That sir or ma'am is how u get 5 🌟 stars. I requested follow up appts where I want my spots freeze sprayed to kill any growth on my scalp. Ears and nose. Thank u

Dr Joseph and the entire staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Dr Joseph took his time to listen to my daughter’s concerns and to explain things. We didn’t feel rushed (which I really appreciate), and I felt that the doctor and staff genuinely cared about my daughter as a patient.

Dr. Cyril Joseph is the best dermatologist I have seen. The staff and medical assistants are all caring and attentive. It’s never a long wait. Once you have a scheduled appointment you are in and out within 25mins. I have seen plenty of other dermatologist and this establishment by far is the best. I highly recommend them!

If your browsing for a Dermatologist. This is it, No more searching. I have to share, first when you walk in you are greeted with a good morning or Hi from the ladies at the desk.. Very welcoming and friendly. Great communication. The Nurse and Doctor is also friendly and welcoming. I really appreciate Dr. he's so caring and he always makes sure if there's anything else you need. .He is such an amazing Dr. So make that phone call and make a appointment with him.

AWESOME!!! If i could give 10 stars....I would!! So friendly, patient and polite! Dr. listens to you, nurse was gentle and kind, and paperwork (on phone) for new hire took 5 minutes!! Not to mention, the BEST part, they were able to get me in ASAP!! Ihad a HORRIBLE allergic reaction (so painful and itchy) I am SO very greatful! Very professional and efficient! I will definitely come back if I ever need anything else for my skin!!
