I had two separate problems with this practice that caused me to switch providers. In Sept 2023 I scheduled well checks for my children but was told at check-in the visits weren’t due; one child wasn’t seen and the other was seen only for vaccines and I was charged $150. My insurer confirmed there is no single “calendar date” restriction and even contacted the office to request the visit be reclassified as a well visit, but the practice refused and still billed me. In Mar 2026 I scheduled a well visit for my son; the office incorrectly told me his plan was an HMO requiring a listed PCP and threatened to cancel the appointment. My insurer confirmed that information was inaccurate, and called the office, to correct the misinformation. Between inconsistent policies, inaccurate staff guidance, and unwillingness to correct billing errors, I lost confidence in their office and switched practices. Professional clinicians, but very poorly managed front desk, call center and billing.

Very clean office, was in and out in less than an hour. The Dr. was very kind, asked questions, sent our prescriptions right over. They didn't push Us to do anything we didn't want to. Well staffed, was helpful & seemed like they were all busy working, doing their part. The Office was easy to find, was a clean, all new furnishings and We will return in 6 mos for check up.

I’ve been trying to make an appointment for over a week and every single time that I called I get put on hold from their AI system for over 20 minutes. Until now I haven’t been successful to speak to someone. Worst customer service if you can call that customer service. As of right now looking for new options for my son this is ridiculous. I understand one time trying to get in contact but it’s been over a week that I been trying at a different times and nobody picks up the phone. If you are looking into a new pediatrician, I recommend look for better options or if you want to give it a try on your own, you soon will find out that this is not the best place.

So crazy. We have come here since my daughter was 4 and she is now 14. We had a 7:30 appointment and missed the exit this morning and walked in at 7:36 and they already canceled our appointment! Just a heads up to anyone that is making an appointment here, they only give you a 5 minute grace period from the time of your appointment. They also gaslight you saying this has been their policy since the beginning of the year and that they are telling all patients upon making their appointments of this new change. Which was a complete lie. I was here in January and then also twice in the last week and was never once was told of this "new change" to their policy. I'm not sure if the girl at the front desk is a manager or just a secretary, but once I called her out about this discrepancy her entire demeanor changed and she became very condescending and patronizing towards me. Just own up to the fact that you aren't doing your job completely instead of making a 6 day postpartum mom feel like trash.
This review isn't towards the Doctors. They are amazing. Dr. Romo has been my children's doctor for almost 6 years and she's great.

We like the doctors here unfortunately they are chronically late to the appointments. We haven’t seen a doctor here earlier than 30minutes past appointment time and they require you come 15min early. So be ready to wait at least 45 minutes.

We drive across town to this pediatrician because we appreciate the dr we see greatly, however our last visit was quite disappointing. We were just under 10 mins late for our appt unfortunately, and we were sent away - marked as 'no showed'. I understand a policy in place to keep things running smoothly so people are not waiting all day. But for this policy to work, they have to inform their patients of it, which they did not. Additionally, a 5-min grace period is as close as you can possibly get to a no tolerance policy, while dealing with children. My daughter was growth restricted and needed a follow up appt to check her measurements to ensure she is gaining weight appropriately. We were 8 mins late and they sent us away. It is just screaming that they do not care about your children. I take accountability for being late, it is obviously never the goal. But 5 minutes of grace when you are dealing with toddlers and newborns and recovering new moms, seems less than compassionate. My biggest issue is we were never notified of the policy, they send out a reminder message and don't include this information - according to a manager I spoke with "because it rubs people the wrong way". On top of it they didn't work with us at all to fit her in later over the course of the next 3.5 hours they were open.

Bringing all my children here for years over the last couple visits the customer service, especially the staff at the front desk has been terrible. The girls at the front desk are rude and act like you’re bothering them by asking them simple questions. Honestly, don’t waste your time coming here. There are so many options in Vegas and Henderson now find a place that treats your family, friendly and enjoys being your primary pediatric provider.

Both of my girls are seen by Dr. Romo who is amazing, she is attentive and caring. I wanted my girls to have a doctor they can feel comfortable around, we have seen on occasion Dr. Schnitzler who is an outstanding doctor as well. The front desk staff has always been welcoming and the nurses and MA are also very nice. Overall we love our pediatric office.

Dr. Romo gets 5 stars from me! She cares about my girls, provides resources, and gets us taken care of quickly.
I’d hate to put anything less bc Only complaint are the two ladies at the front desk. They need a serious attitude adjustment. Clearly if I’m a new patient and have questions…answer them as that is their job they signed up for so them having a negative attitude is crazy. They are very nice nasty and snappy. This is the second time the plump one snappy towards me both visits; however, when the Hispanic guy behind me came to the window, she was all happy and talkative.

The receptionist at the front desk isn't knowledgeable and rather rude. I tried to explain several times that my insurance was Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and she kept saying Anthem. I work remotely for an Arizona company and my insurance and a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield. I even showed her the bill for my company and it still didn't register and she kept implying it was medicade. (Sometimes people need Medicaid) but reiterated the situation three times aggressively as if it were an insult. It made the whole vist uncomfortable and I ended up paying out of pocket to get my son seen. The doctor seemed knowledgeable but again my receptionist interaction threw the whole thing off.

This review is not related to the healthcare providers. Intermountain Healthcare doctors are great.
However, Intermountain Healthcare REFERRAL PROCESSERS are not!!
And the way it works is I call his Pediatrician (Dr. Romo-Sanisteven) office and press 3 to be transferred for referrals.
As a parent of a toddler with developmental delays that, to date, have necessitated several referrals to specialists, trying to get the correct referral in a timely manner has not been an easy, seamless experience.
Most recent example: My baby was born prematurely and as a result has developmental delays and they're trying to rule out Cerebral Palsy. So Intermountain Healthcare referred to a Neurologist. Ok, great... Neurology Center of Nevada ordered a MRI of his brain which was done 11/10/23 then scheduled the follow-up way out into January of 2o24.
They're SOOOO busy....Of course.
The morning of that appointment to get the highly anticipated results (while en route to the appointment) they call me and cancel citing issues with their Medicaid contract. What??
Call back Intermountain Healthcare and explain. They say they will call me in 3 days with a new Neurologist.
I'm not a referral "specialist" but why 3 days? Isn't there a computer in front of them that is a database of in-network providers??
"We gotta see who will accept him" Was the reply I received.
Oh, ok ... Please do that.
4 days later, actually, Intermountain Healthcare calls and gives me the number I need...Or so I thought!
I call the number and I'm told they don't take pediatric patients!
So I call back AGAIN, explain the whole situation, and she puts me on hold to get a "Referral Specialist" on the line... Then what is her role??
Naturally, I wait for almost 10 mins and she comes back to ask if I'd like to continue holding or have them call me back.
Suffice to say I'm pretty frustrated right now!!
Get it together, Intermountain Healthcare Referral Specialists!!!
At least for the children's sake!!

Finally a pediatric doctor that is so knowledgable! Dr. James Jabile. I knew i would have good luck with him since his medical experience is from the NY. I went to multiple pediatricians in vegas. He was the ONLY doctor that seemed to know anything about my child's case of infantile spams. He asked all the right questions and he answered all of my questions in a knowledgable way. Hes extremly thorough too. He wont dismiss even the smallest thing about your child.. my child has wheezing most doctors said its normal...he actually cared to follow up about it to try to prevent it as much as possible. so thank you Dr.Jabile

I had my first appointment with Dr. Stilson and I was pleasantly surprised with him and the information I learned. I was helped in many ways and I am grateful for Dr. Stilson and appreciate his time.
I had my husband go with me because after my son and 9 months later my daughter went to Heaven and I lost weight and my memory and the Vitamin B12 shots really help me and Dr. Stilson helped me and gave me a printed copy of my health at 83 years of age.
Thank you for getting a wonderful doctor for us so we can enjoy a few more years.

It was a pleasure to meet our new doctor. Dr. Stilson was very attentive and understood my health situation and advised that I didn't need to up the dose of my medication for cholesterol control because my last blood test came out normal. Dr. Seck was very through with his questions about meds and my current difficulty. I did not feel rushed. He asked about many aspects of my current living situation and my support system. From the first phone call all the way to the check out point. The customer service was great. Dr, Romo is really the best pediatrician and a wonderful very kind person. She has been seeing my babies for about a year now (we used to see dr. Barbara Stiffler ) but she moved so we were devastated and really struggled finding another doctor until one day, we had to schedule with Dr. Romo because it was our closest location and I am so sooo grateful we did because she’s amazing. I can tell she cares, she worries, she’s listening and paying attention to all my concerns, and takes all the time with us, and I appreciate that. I always have so many questions and it’s never been like a lot of the pediatricians that I have seen were they just rush and you never get answers, she’s so full of knowledge and so far thank God, everything she has told me has always been correct when it comes to illnesses. She’s very family oriented, doesn’t scare kids or bother them, she goes out of her way to make everyone comfortable. Overall, I am so grateful and pray to God that he keeps her and her family safe and healthy always. We are fairly new to the area and we have not had a great experience at other offices. When we arrived at this pediatric office, everyone was fast and friendly from the start! We were greeted, and before I could even finish the information packet for the first time patients, we were called back to see the Dr.’s assistant! Dr. Schnitzler listens to concerns and respects me as a parent. He is knowledgeable and direct. His office staff are respectful and responsive which has been a huge issue with previous pediatrician offices we have gone to.

Not worth 5 stars! The doctors are great but the front desk staff are the worst. EVERY visit that is a wellness visit for my kids they try and take money from me but my insurance covers 100% of wellness visits. They took a total of $70 in co-pays from me for wellness visits until I wanted to call my insurance to see if that was correct. My insurance told me that was incorrect and they needed to credit my money back. I called the doctors office about it and they still tried saying that the charges were valid until the customer service for my insurance set them straight. They looked at the money I gave them and saw it didn’t even go to my visits at all! They put my money towards someone else’s bill. That is total Fraud! They said “they had no idea” but did credit me for any future “non wellness “ bill I may have. The front desk personnel had the nerve to then tell me.... I need to know my own insurance policy and it was my fault for letting them collect a co-pay. According to them it’s not their job to look at your policy and to just charge you. They have continued to try collecting co-pays for wellness visits and I just call my insurance for them and have my insurance tell them I’m covered at 100%! Be careful of this office and to know your policy because they will take advantage of people who don’t know their policy.
Again...the doctors are GREAT as well as the nurses but the front desk is HORRIBLE.

I have been coming here for about 7 years now for my son and daughter office does have some drs that don't stay we love dr schnitzler !!!!!!not sure exactly how to spell it 🤷‍♀️But he is awesome staff changes often as well but never had a problem with anyone all staff is super nice and helpful

Absolutely wonderful, helpful, knowledgable and compassionate staff!! From referrals, to prescriptions, to billing, to care, you can be assured they are on top of it and Dr. Romo will do the absolute best for your child!!

Doctor Schnitzler is informative and nice.
But, I waited over 20 minutes on hold to make an appointment. This is simply too long.
