being part of skyline dental for a long time the dentist decided not to fix my crown when needed he said I'm not going to touch that you pull it off, I was shocked it had to be repaired the management very cold and rude the lady at the front I don't know why she's there, but the most important part was the way the dentist treated me last time I was there ,I finally went to a great dentist in Henderson it was like a different country I was treated
well people spoke English , it was an experience at skyline dental that I don't want to experience again ,I put up with them for a long time with the broken English not understanding the dentist when he speaks he's mumbling and the fact that he did not want to treat my crown ,
I told him the tooth was broken I told him it keeps coming off, I'm glad I went and took care of with another dentist because it was hurting me I was in pain it was chipped and he knew it and he let me leave that day without treating me or rescheduling me for it, he would usually crack a few jokes before treating me in the past I decided to crack a few jokes with him I don't think he liked it just trying to humor him a little but I think he took it the wrong way and he told me I think you just better go to another dentist but on that day he did do my cleaning which is very poor cleaning he's always in a hurry just cleans the teeth real fast as the other girl brush them it's just poor quality charges you for something that's not complete especially on the cleaning side they're not doing it 100%, he just going in there real quick and that's it ,I do not recommend this dentist ,they are sloppy and they take your money

I went in for a root canal so far everything seems to be going well I didn't feel any pain while getting my root canal done which was one of my main concerns feeling pain. My elderly mother was seen here last week for a cracked veneer. They scheduled her for a root canal two weeks later at 1pm. I am on FMLA and like to be courteous with my employer when requesting time off. The day before the appointment I received texts asking if I would reschedule my appointment to an earlier time. After work, I called them back to let them know I had to check my schedule and I would get back to them. Would that be ok or would they be closed. The person in the other end says its a 24 hour phone line so it’s fine to call back after hours. Around 530 I get a text asking me to confirm the earlier appointment. I never agreed to that and was alarmed. I requested FMLA PTO For a certain time so I really could not make that. I called the phone number and a Vicky answers and says she is the office manager. I begin to tell the story and she interrupts me and says the original time has already been filled. She can do nothing about it. I tell her you’re the office manager you can call the patient YOUR SELF say your staff gave my mother’s appointment away in error… because surely they just got their appointment today. There was an appointment already set with another patient. Vicky then states she will not do that because she didn’t make the appointment. I tell her, but YOU’RE the office manager. You CAN make those decisions and you CAN TAKE those actions. SHE tells me if I don’t like it, she will cancel all of my appointments and that’ll be that. I tell her cancel them and I hang up. I just cannot believe this. It is my belief that this Vicky person is related in someway to the owners of this establishment due the manner in which she spoke to me as if almost entitled. I will be calling Absolute Dental tomorrow and replying to this post to let you know how they treat new patients….. UNBELIEVABLY Very bad office management.

Worst place I've been to , First the girls doing the X-rays and photos were great ...the dentist on the other hand literally laughed about me having periodontal disease , wanted to give me all root canals for even dead teeth , I knew more about my teeth and i was humiliated for it , i left not receiving any treatment because they try forcing things you don't want and dont offer anything affordable to anyone on a budget. I don't have 30,000 to root canal what teeth I have left nor would I want to do that when dentures are way more affordable and reasonable since genetically i have periodontal disease , This appointment wasted time and i left still in pain because they probe your mouth and mess with exposed nerves if you have them; my advice go somewhere else , anywhere else for that matter because they are willing to humiliate you and try to drain your pockets of money you dont have, id rather go to someone that cares that I'm in pain and wants to help me.feel better about my smile, not someone that makes jokes on your behalf when its a serious issue!

Today I visited Skyline Dental Care for the second time. Each visit I was super impress with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I was able to get the appointment quickly to my surprise because these days, so many businesses blame everything on COVID and have you waiting needlessly it seems. Dr. Chau was friendly, thorough, and engaging. The hygienist and all of the associates know their jobs and are really good at what they do. The staff is friendly and the prices seemed reasonable to me and believe me, I’m not rich. I wholeheartedly recommend Skyline Dental for any of your dental needs.

Upon my first visit I was told I would need a couple of previously done root canals redone by a specialist and that otherwise I'd need some crowns done on previously filled teeth due to the fillings taking up too much space in my teeth (to add more filling to these would compromise the structural integrity of the teeth). I went to said specialist and scheduled a procedure. I returned to skyline to see about the previously mentioned crowns as I had some ongoing pain, I was told that ~actually I'll need a mouth full of root canals done. Based on their original assessment I was expecting a simple in and out visit, and was totally rebuffed. If this is the case they should not have misled me at the original appointment, any trust I had in their opinion was immediately in question, not what you want at a dentist office in Las Vegas. Furthermore, Vickie, the woman who handles the insurance stuff, she's just too much. Has zero patience, won't even let me finish talking before she tries to input her own personal take on my dental health, which I'm sure she probably has picked up a lot of dental care knowledge working there but her talking to me about what I should and shouldn't do as if she's the dentist is just too far for me personally. If I'm going to the dentist I want the dentist's opinion. Which, again, was confusing at best.

I, like many, had some stress about paying for everything, Vickie and the other front desk person acted like I was the first person they've ever met who had a complicated financial situation, and they acted like I had no walking around sense while I was trying to get things sorted out (literally was just having someone else pay for the work I was trying to have done, they made this an entire thing). If you have enough money and an extremely cut and dry situation I'm sure they'll help you, anything beyond that I'd go elsewhere. I've missed hours of work to see them twice now and have had zero action taken outside of two x rays and a very fast cleaning. The dentist even laughed at me when I asked if they could recement a crown that had gotten a bit loose (it hadn't fallen out yet and it was explained why it should be left to come out naturally, but still, I was clearly stressed about it.)

Unclear diagnoses, rude, impatient, and most importantly a waste of time beyond the referral to the endodontist. I do not think they're necessarily trying to rip anyone off, but they aren't trying to make things easy or straightforward either. The dental assistant was nice and very patient. Won't be returning, I'd literally rather fly back to my home state and get seen there at this point.

The Dentist is amazing, I had a very traumatic experience from another dentist that caused me to not go to the dentist for almost 2 years. The dentist at this office is very kind and honest about treatment. I was nervous about getting numb and he did a great job.. barely felt anything. Dental assistants are nice and friendly.

However the front office staff specifically lacks people skills. They are not good at communicating at all. In fact they will tell you something and in a matter of minutes the answer will change. I have came to this office 5 or 6 times and I still don't know their know names. It speaks volumes to the way they handle me. I don't get greeted and It has been rude and honestly not professional at all.

I was referred by my mother and even she shares the same sentiment.

My experience at this office was going very pleasant until I had to go with Vickey who is in charge of giving the quotes for how much the procedures needed are going to cost. Vickey is very very rude and unprofessional. She was getting irritated when I was asking her questions that any patient would have. Which is very sad to me as I believe she is the doctors wife and you would think that with it being their own practice she would be nicer to the patients. Dr Chow is super gentle, & my root canal only took 3days for the swelling to go down & no longer be sensitive. He was very attentive to make sure I wasn't in pain & was as comfortable as possible. Plus he got me in on short notice with no waiting. 2nd visit when my post was built for my crown it only hurt for a day. I have been to many dentist & root canals always hurt for about a week, truly amazing work. & when my temp crown broke they got me in the next morning. Plus the staff is super friendly & they let me put anything I want to watch on the Fire Stick TV.

Since I've been going there I've never had a bad experience and the fact that the staff has largely remained the same tells me that it's also a good work environment and that means something to me.

I hate going to the dentist and try to avoid it at all cost. However, recently I had no other option. I ended up here simply because another dental office had me waiting 2+ hours verifying insurance. Anyway, my insurance company said they have never had problems with this office so I scheduled an appointment.. I was fully prepared to walk out at anytime. I went... I expressed my fear of dentist but was immediately put at ease. Had to have a fair amount of work done over several appointments, including wisdom teeth extraction. It was all PAINLESS! aside from the initial fear, I had no issues at all. The worst thing i felt was my mouth being numb afterwards.
Everyone is very kind, gentle and understanding. I recommend anyone nervous about going to the dentist to see Dr. Chau and his staff. You won't regret it.

Today is 4/1/14 and this is not a joke. This office is spectacular. I have the worst teeth ever-maybe from genetics, I dunno. I can remember since I was 11 having cavities and the maintenance on my teeth having to be double time of regular care. That being said, I've seen many dentists. Dr. Chau and Chen the office manager are awesome. The doc is very polite, patient and very knowledgeable. He showed me pictures of my teeth and explained what was going on and asked me questions concerning my teeth while examining me. He really took the time to help me understand what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong, but most importantly what is happening with my teeth. I felt very relieved and relaxed with this dental office. There very polite, friendly and professional and a must to anyone looking for a local dentist to meet your needs- not a just a bag of money walking through the door.

AT FIRST WE WERE A LITTLE SKEPTICAL BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION BUT DECIDED TO GIVE IT A GO ANYWAY, GLAD WE DID BECAUSE THE DR. IS VERY POLITE AND HE REALLY KNOWS TEETH. A+++
