I have been coming here now for around 2 years and every time it has been a great experience. My fav hygienist is Megan!! She really makes the dentist feel like a safe and peaceful place along with the rest of the staff. Megan is very kind and when she is cleaning teeth she is so patient and accommodating to the patient she is serving. I have a sensitive side on the upper left side of my mouth and she made sure to communicate with me and check in with me as she was cleaning my teeth. She adjusted anything that was making me feel uncomfortable without hesitation. She truly made me feel understood and seen instead of making me feel like a burden. I love the dentists here as well! - scheduling, to
- appointment reminders, to
- a warm welcome to the comfortable waiting room, to
- timely transfer to treatment rooms with a screen that has your name, as well as the doctor and assistant's name AND a timer for you to swish mouthwash for 1 minute, to
- a thorough explanation of what to expect and clear instructions about what they need from you, to
- easing back as they go to work to enjoy the screen on the ceiling which provides a nice distraction, to
- getting an entire crown done in one sitting (yes, it takes a while for the computer to mill the new tooth, but you get it the same day!)
The staff is wonderful! Yes, they have it dialed.
My only regret is that healthcare in our country does not consider the importance of dental care and my bank account took an unexpected hit. But that has nothing to do with Smile Horizons. They totally rock!!!

Don’t let their kindness fool you! They tried to tell me I had 9 cavities and needed crowns and all these unnecessary procedures (over $400 each procedure, out of pocket), making it sound urgent. I got a second opinion, I have NO CAVITIES.

They also bribe you with a gift card or a certain amount off your next procedure if you leave a 5 star review!

They have all the latest technology, but that’s because they try to get as much money out of their customers pockets as they can.

If you are a person of color or need extensive dental work this is not the office for you . I was extremely excited about the care I received , but it was all an act .They offer $10 for a review but I see why now . After extensive explaining of my financial and dental situation - they sent me a $10k bill . When I advised my budget they sent a 1k bill . I advised that since they are only offering partial care I still wanted to move forward, but would have the extractions done with another office . Then they said - nope- go elsewhere . This is their right to refuse service - all I’m saying is - they are paying $10 for reviews for some reason . Either they want or none . SHAME on your frauds

I WAS ALMOST CHARGED OVER $1,000 DOLLARS FOR A TREATMENT I DID NOT WANT!

I, 22 F, went there recently due to a cavity filling falling out and also for an overall check. I immediately noticed that the staff was extremely pushy about adding extra charges. Especially the older Asian lady who handles the treatment plans. I was told by the hygienist that I had an extreme gum infection called Periodontal disease. They told me that the bones in my teeth were deteriorating, my gums were severely swelled, there’s was an huge amount of bacteria, and that I was now at risk for high cholesterol and blood pressure. I obviously wanted to get that handled immediately due to how severe the condition is. The older Asian lady then told me that the treatment would cost over a 1,000 DOLLARS EVERY FOUR MONTHS. They tried to add on laser treatment, extra medical treatments, the works. When I stressed I could not afford it she insisted that my health was at risk and became extremely pushy about me adding extra charges.

However I did find it odd, because my gums do not bleed, I was not in any pain, I keep up with my oral hygiene, and I get regularly teeth cleaning. I then got a second opinion and turns out my teeth were completely fine and my gums were very healthy. Now this dentist will not stop calling me and insisting on me getting this treatment.

Denise at the front desk is helpful, friendly and professional. I went for a checkup with Dr. Chung and she was great and had my xrays taken by Crystopher who was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I have several things that need to be fixed and spoke with the treatment manager Helen and she was very kind and understanding and put my mind at ease about getting the deep cleaning that was recommended.

I went back a month later when my insurance kicked in and started a series of deep cleanings with Kevin. Kevin made me feel comfortable which was important as I had a lot of anxiety about getting that type of cleaning done. He was gentle and did a great job and was very engaging.

I am happy that I found a great practice with friendly staff and a relaxing and clean environment. I feel appreciated and valued.

Found this place from a family friend and I’m so glad they told me to come here! I was looking to get some cosmetic work done - Invisalign or braces.

The office is clean, love all the staff they were nice and efficient and funny! They are really on top of things they even text me to confirm my appointment and I can text them right back.

Dr. Uy has been so great with me! From consultation to the scan and then retainers and now to my perfect smile! I am in the process right now of just adjusting it a little more, but so far it’s been an easy process. I am so happy with my results! If you’re looking for a great dentist to go to! This place is a ripped off. Avoid!!!!
They advertise cleaning for $59. However, they would perform examination and letting you know that you only qualified for deep cleaning which is $800. Other dentists are averaging only $480 on deep cleaning. Shop around and don’t get fooled

Had a fantastic experience with my cleaning including with my crown that i had done, when my lips were getting dried they kept putting chapstick which is something thats never been done at other locations,

I went in as a new patient and they told me I have 4 cavities and need a deep cleaning. The total cost would be $1,200. I never had cavities before and go to the dentist every 6-12 months. I went to another dentist and they told me that I have 0 cavities and no need for deep cleaning.

Appreciate the owner’s comment. Maybe I did not provide a clear history of what had happened. The first thing of locating a new dentistry, I’ve called and asked specifically if my insurance is accepted - which I received confirmation of. Which then I proceed with setting up appointment, providing all details of my history/ insurance information and received multiple appointment confirmations throughout 3 weeks.

The call I received 2 days before my first appointment was simply notifying me they do not accept my insurance. No explanation of what had changed in the past 3 weeks. If it’s a simple mistake, a simple apology would be the appropriate and right thing to do - which of course I did not get that and the whole experience shows me how little you care about patients.

Doesn’t matter if you’re a small family own business or a big business, you can feel if they care about their patients or not in a short interaction.

As a new patient, I made an appointment t to see a dentist approx. three weeks ago. I submitted all the information including the insurance information in person. Two days prior to my appointment, I received a phone call stating that they don’t accept my insurance and asked if I want to continue proceed with seeing the doctor. Would go see the doctor when you know they don’t accept insurance, after paying for your insurance premium? Why couldn’t they notified me earlier? Why it took them almost three weeks to find out? Who knows how long I have to wait until I find a doctor and when they can take me. If they can’t take care of administrative tasks, I am not sure how they can take care of your dentistry needs.

I found Smiles Horizon in a pinch and I have never felt better about visiting the dentist. Starting with my experience with the front desk staff I felt I had made the right choice. Jennifer is hilarious and personable! Both gals at the front are a great fit for the face of this office. Dr. David is wonderful she’s so understanding and not judgmental. Your care and comfort is her ultimate goal. Patrice, Amie, and Kevin were also gems! They truly care about your comfort while you are going through treatment. Patient education is TOP TEIR at this location. What an amazing team from front to back! The office is beautiful and very well kept. They have top of the line technology and tools. It hasn’t been long since my visit, but I am already seeing and feeling more improvement than I have ever felt elsewhere.

I have been going to Smile Horizons Dentistry probably since the time they opened their doors in their Horizon Ridge Pkwy clinic.

I have seen all the doctors from Dr. Nou, to Dr. Uy, Dr. Higa and very recently Dr. David. They have all been very nice, welcoming & very competent. I come here more than 3x a year and are always met with the friendliest techs & hygienists as well.

It’s always a pleasure at Horizons Dentistry. Dr. Nou, Jenny, and Sarah always made me feel comfortable in the chair and did a beautiful job getting my teeth fixed up. I was a little embarrassed at my first appointment because I haven’t had dental work done in a while. Needless to say, there was not an ounce of judgment from any of the staff. I used them to get my teeth cleaned in 2020 and they made me so uncomfortable that I didn’t wanna do any other services with them. They tried to say that I needed so much to be done which made me question them and believe that they just wanted to get as much money out of me as possible. Never did anything else with them and went with somebody else.
It’s been almost 4 years since my service and they just contacted me saying that I owe a balance on the account. Like really? What kinda dentist contacts you after almost 4 years to collect a balance when they could’ve done that before. They definitely need better customer service and accountants to manage their finances.
So be aware and don’t trust what they say. They will try to get as much as they can and then come back and say that you owe more money!!!

Dr. Uy has the lightest hands in the biz! Never have to worry about any discomfort or pain when she's working on my teeth, whether she's cleaning or doing a filling or even numbing me up. Most comfortable dentist's office I have ever been to, they really care about your comfort: from offering lip moisturizer to be sure your dry lips don't tear when they work in your mouth, to ceiling-mounted TVs, to glasses to protect your face from possible splashes, they've really thought of everything. Denise, the dental hygienist I worked with today, was also super friendly and made me feel at ease.

First off.. it’s been years since I had my last dentist visit due to financial situations. In that note, I came in nervous and embarrassed cause I knew I neglected my oral health. During my medical examination, my nervousness faded away little by little as it was becoming more welcoming and understanding the staff are to me. They’ve been very friendly and helpful in my case. They indeed try to calm me down by saying encouragement. Dr. Uy and her team definitely are amazing! They’ve given me the best first visit and has given me a lot of options to be flexible with my case and treatment. I hope they come across this review cause I really feel confident now that I’m with the right team to rebuild my smile and that I’m on the right track to fixing my oral health. It had a few years since I had visited the dentist. I came because I was experiencing pain, and I ended up needing a root canal. I knew my teeth were in bad shape from the negligence but no one there made me self conscious about it, or treated me badly. I think I found my dental clinic 🙂 I’ve been trying to find a good one that’s open during Saturdays and I chose the right one. just had my first visit. As someone who hasn’t been to the dentist for a very long time, I feel very welcomed. The people and the office are very nice, also equipment is upgraded. Dr. Uy made sure I had what I need. Denise is very accommodating from the start and made me feel comfortable as possible. Anna was friendly and did a good job cleaning my teeth. Also Kirstyn and Lily gave me kind messages after I left, including the doctor. It seems that they take good care of their patients and I will come back ☺️
