Can’t deny that my eyes are opening as wide as my mouth every time I have to come here. First of all, Kim is awesome and helps me with scheduling regardless of how much issue I have with maintaining my appointments. When I get there, she and the rest of the staff are always welcoming and ready for me the second I get there. Then there is Dr. Leatham, the most friendly doctor in town. I can strike up a conversation with him regarding anything anywhere! Lastly, there is Dr. Quinn, Esq. Long prefix/suffix aside, he’s a smooth talker and easy on the eyes. Went in for an initial checkup and a dental cleaning. The staff there were outstanding; the doctor there informed me of my tooth health and gave me some education on how x-rays show us tooth health and explained to me proper cleaning practices.

Today was my first visit to this incredible dentistry office. From the moment I opened the door and was greeted upon arrival by my name to the moment I walked out with a clear cost and vision of the work I needed, this office is hands down the BEST and most professional dental group I have ever gone to. The back staff did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable even before seeing Dr. Leatham. When Dr. Leatham reviewed my x-rays he put them on a screen in front of me to go over his findings and explained exactly what is necessary now vs what he wants to keep an eye on. I felt very educated to be able to make the final decision on my own without any pressure whatsoever from him or his staff. The equipment is all state of the art, including a one day crown fitting that utilizes an in office crown mill that allows them to make a crown while you wait instead of circling back in 2-3 weeks like other dentists. Thank you staff and Dr for making me feel like part of your family!

I am very impressed with this office. From the front desk, to the assistants, and dentists, everyone is nice and friendly. They all know my name when I walk in which is always something I appreciate about any office. Kim at the front desk is always smiling, Kayla is incredible and is very knowledgeable! This place is worth less than 1 star. Don’t ever go to this place. It’s filthy the staff are terrible and they rob you of your money because their office doesn’t even have normal business hours. I am reporting them to the business bureau for their ineffectiveness at providing basic quality care to customers.

My response to you is as follows to your “good riddance below…”

I’m glad I now have your attention and you understand how dismayed I was when you charged me a late fee 48 hours (if not more) in advance. Sometimes child like behavior to unfair business practices conveys that sentiment better than being polite and in my opinion matches the highway robbery by way of overcharging a client. Also, there was not “abusive screaming” involved whatsoever during the phone call with your office manager because I paid this bill in public in another dentist office that is already providing me with way more exceptional care.

Prior to this incident—I scheduled an appointment that I arrived on time for with an insurance that you did not even take. It was expected of me to leave without care or pay cash. So I drove there and canceled the appointment upon arrival after wasting my time and gas. Anywhere else would have informed the patient prior to arrival that they did not take a certain kind of insurance to avoid that type of a problem if they were even remotely interested in quality patient care.

But speaking again to this most recent issue, I do not think it is a fair and/or reasonable charge. I want a refund of my hard earned money. I hope I have made that clear.

This is a fantastic dental office. The staff and doctors are always cheerful and happy to see you, the staff takes time and effort to make connection, so you never feel like you're just another number. The work they have done on my teeth has always been top-notch. They work hard to keep procedures as pain-free as possible and check in consistently during the treatment to make sure you are okay.

The send reminders via text with a real phone number so you can respond right there to anything. They have been very accurate with costs and price estimates every time and take great care to make sure you are getting quality products. My night guard came in and was defective, the doctor sent it back with instructuins to expedite so I could have what I need. These are just a few great things. I’ve been going to this dentist since 2015, and I’m extremely disappointed with how they handled my recent appointment. I had to cancel last minute because my babysitter cancelled on me something completely out of my control and they still charged me a $50 cancellation fee. It’s not about the amount or the money, it’s about the principle. After nearly 10 years as a loyal patient, I would expect some understanding, especially when it’s a family emergency. Instead, they showed zero compassion or flexibility. It’s really disheartening to realize how little they value long-time patients. I won’t be returning.

I have been a patient of Dr. Quinn for years. He is wonderful and all the work he has done has stood the test of time. 5 years ago I moved out of state and recently moved back, so naturally I wanted to see him again. I am fresh out of my invisalign and also had an implant. I reached out to Smiles for life for a permanent retainer and a crown for my implant. Dr. Quinn is gone now so I'm seeing Dr. Leatham. He placed my crown and ordered my permanent retainer to fit my new smile. The retainer is ill fitting and the crown popped out in 6 weeks. Dr. Leatham reattached my crown. I asked what could cause this he didnt have answers other than "sometimes this happens". I asked if he could fix my retainer because maybe that was causing unnecessary pressure and causing the crown to loosen. He wanted to charge me all over again even though I told him as soon as I got it that it felt bulky and not sitting right. I can't even close my mouth when they are in.

I know Dr. Quinn still owns the practice and hope he can reach out to me so we can solve this. I am paying out of pocket for all this (no insurance) and I really can't afford the run-around I've been given.

I hate to give this practice the low rating as yall have always been good to me but this recent experience is so bad 😞

First Visit:
Came in signed up the papers, the front desk didnt explain anything. They took me back started doing my x-rays, the assistant was nice! I met other dentist not Dr Leatham, he checked my teeth and told his assistant what codes to write. After we finished the discussion started about my treatment plan, i was feeling pushed towards doing the most expensive treatment first (root+crown), the plan didnt include the wisdom teeth removal that we discussed. The front desk didnt bother to explain throughly the quote. I left the place without any confidence but signed up for cleaning.
Second visit:
The woman that cleaned my teeth was really good. Then I met with Dr Leatham to get some explanation about the procedures thats in the quote. Got pushed again to start with the most expensive treatment and the Doctor said it can be even higher if there are any complications with replacing a filling to a newer composite. Ive been told that my healthy nerve can be taken out during the process. After some back and forth (that i dont really appreciate as client when its coming from a doctor) the Doctor said he will make an exception and start with the fillings. No one cares about the financial situation of the client. Feels like they are caring more about the financial profit of the clinic instead of focusing on patient/client care.
I left without answering my questions and without any confidence that my mouth health will get better after putting down big amount of money.

This has been my spot for almost 10 years. There was a time they moved their office farther from me, but I refused to change to a different dentist that was closer. There are a couple of main dentists on staff that I have dealt with, and they were all so great to work with. Their whole staff is extremely kind, professional, and overall pleasant to interact with. I am a difficult patient. I know this. I have had multiple intensive dental surgeries since I was 13 years old and associate going to the dentist with waterboarding and other tortures. Nevertheless, the staff is always extremely accommodating even when I struggle with simple aspects of a teeth cleaning. One hygienist is so fast and skillful that its akin to Vin Diesel stealing a car--fast but not so furious. Not like they need another 5-star review, but here it is. My husband and I have been going here since before we had kids and now all three of our kids go here also. Everything is so great, from how organized they are, to how good the service has been, to the free chapstick on the way out. I’ve had procedures done here and so have one of my sons. If there was less than one star to give, that's what it would be. This is actually my second review because it appears the first one I made was removed (what a shame to be censored and not allow your new patients to know how your practice REALLY operates).
Basically I was "fired" as a patient (who knew that was even possible) because I asked if the Dentist, Dr. Wills, would mind if I get a second opinion after he informed me that I would need a Root Canal AND would need to replace all of my porcelain fillings (about 6 of them). I thought my request was fair given that I had never had a Dentist suggest so much work right off the bat. He really couldn't defend his treatment suggestions and got defensive when I suggested that I would like to get a second opinion.
This was not my first issue with this practice. The first dentist, Dr. Leatham, lectured me after the receptionist harassed me by calling me when I wasn't even 2 minutes late (I could not find their location). Dr. Leatham decided it was smarter to "scold" me, the patient, instead of the receptionist.
Not a very "patient friendly" practice and shady to be sure! Be careful!

I am new to Las Vegas, the chore of replacing all my health care providers is daunting to say the least. Looking at the Doctor's credentials is always a great start; but there has to be a welcome home feeling for me when go to any provider.

Maybe that's just me, but you can always tell how good/bad or indifferent the provider is by the front desk staff. They are the front line, the face of the office and their attitudes, to me clearly show what's going on behind closed doors.

That being said, Smiles for Life's front desk staff is kind, caring and can laugh WITH me at my bumbling confusion of picking a new dentist.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Wills. He gave me a thorough dental exam, a plan and a full estimate with what the insurance will cover and my cost sharing portion. There would be no jumping in the chair thinking one cist and jumping out thinking, 💬ahh that's not what we talked about before.

I brought my 4yr old daughter here and couldn’t have been happier with the service. Everyone was very friendly and knew how to interact with a small child. They were prompt and efficient, and my daughter loved getting a balloon and picking out a small toy at the end of the visit. And Dr Quinn somehow convinced her to finally stop using her binky!! Obviously that didn’t happen overnight, but I’ve never seen her this committed in our previous attempts to give it up. Amazing!

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Wills, I was visiting the strip and had a freak accident and broke my two front teeth. From the moment I called they got me in within that hour and he went above and beyond for me with a root cannel and crown on one tooth and a filling on the other.. so good I like my new teeth better than my old🤣 I will definitely be back.

I recently visited Smiles for Life following a fractured crown incident on a Friday night. In the past, I would have gone to my usual dentist, but since he retired and sold his practice to Absolute Dental, I decided to try Smiles for Life based on my wife’s recommendation.

Unfortunately, my experience didn’t meet my expectations. The dentist I saw, Dr. Wills, lacked any semblance of bedside manner. He didn’t bother to introduce himself and seemed more interested in making assumptions rather than asking about my situation. The brief and impersonal interaction left me feeling undervalued as a patient.

Adding to this, my subsequent interaction with Las Vegas Endodontics, to which I was referred, wasn’t much better. The receptionist’s demeanor over the phone did little to reassure me. I’m now considering seeking a second opinion elsewhere, hoping for a more engaging and thorough consultation.

While my wife and others have had positive experiences here, my own visit was disheartening. Based on what I’ve gone through, I’m hesitant to return, despite the otherwise glowing reviews. I believe that every patient deserves a respectful and attentive approach to their dental care, and unfortunately, that was not my experience at Smiles for Life.

EDIT: I'm already looking at other dental practices in the area. After reflecting upon my poor experience with Dr. Wills, I'm not going to return to Smiles for Life. I'd rather go somewhere with a dentist who is willing to treat me like a human being.

Like most people I have a certain fear of the dentist. However, I love Dr. Leatham & all the staff!! I am always put at ease & any questions or concerns are always addressed. Everyone is very personable, the ladies in the office are wonderful along with the assistants & hygienist and I would definitely refer anyone to this office!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I saw Dr Wills and Dr Leatham. Best dentists I’ve ever seen hands down. They made me feel very comfortable and secure with all of my treatments. Both doctors answered all my questions and were very thorough with explaining my procedures. The office is up to date, aesthetically nice, and clean with state-of-the-art gadgets. Scheduling, I have not had any issue at all. They accommodate ALL my scheduling needs from the date and time. Cost, you get what you paid for. For a place to run like this office, the price for the services are justifiable. Oh lets not forget the staff. OMG. This office is run by AMAZING staff front and back. I’m super thankful for the caring staff like Lynnell and Melissa, Taylor for always being so nice and accommodating, and of course Holly for being so thoughtful, sweet and genuinely caring. Best part is, its owned by a Veteran. Definitely hands down service and everything about this office. I would recommend this to anyone who is scared to go to the dentist and to anyone else. I’m definitely thankful to have found this place.

I had been a patient at Smiles for Life for years and absolutely loved them. I was bummed when I had to leave their practice because my employer changed dental insurance plans to save a few bucks (insurance, the greatest scam ever created). I was never happy with any of the other dentists I tried after them, so I called Smiles for Life back, they told me about their in house insurance (they call it something fancy), long story short, I'm back!!!! Some of the staff has changed but they are still amazing! If they don't take your insurance, get their in house insurance, totally worth it to keep them as your dentists, trust me, I shopped around for you, thank me later...

LOVE this place. The staff and doctors are so sweet and thorough. They have TVs on the ceiling so that you can watch a show while getting your teeth cleaned. They are also very fast - I’m in and out in about 35 mins for a cleaning. Can’t recommend them enough!
