Dr. Do and the rest of the staff are wonderful, but the office supervisor was very rude to me today, and was, quite frankly, unhelpful, and truly ruined a great longstanding relationship. It is very clear that she is very comfortable speaking to patients this way simply because she has been with the organization for a while.

LIBERTY Dental specifically asked for Star Brite Dental to call them regarding a referral, and provided a phone number and steps to move forward. When I passed this along, she argued with me for over 20 minutes, refused to make the call, and insisted I didn’t know what I was talking about. It should never be this difficult for a supervisor to make a simple clarifying call to help a patient receive recommended care.

When I asked to speak directly with Dr. Do or another team member about this situation, she refused to transfer me or take a message, leaving me only with the option that I would have to drive over there to be able to speak to anyone outside of her since she's the supervisor.

Dr. Do, I sincerely apologize for leaving a public review, but I urge you to listen to the call recording. It should never be this difficult for a supervisor to make a simple clarifying call to help a patient receive recommended care.

Ive come here a couple/ few times in the last 2 1/2+ years for what started as tooth ache & broken tooth(s).

Regardless of my reasons for my visit(s), each time ive come i was welcome with friendliness, care & concern. I want to add they (the staff) were more than helpful and attentive before AND after.

Ive NOTHING negative or ill to say regarding this establishment.

Matter of fact, when it comes to my teeth, i always come here, i dont waste any time or thought of any other.

My mom was in a lot of pain this morning, and we were extremely worried, but Dr. Steven Do saved her tooth from a same day emergency. He was gentle with her and explained everything clearly.
Dr. Do showed me on a 3D scan that what had previously been diagnosed as a “crack” at another office was actually a natural crease in the tooth. Thanks to his honesty and attention to detail, I learned that the tooth does not need to be removed at this time
The nurse went above and beyond by helping my mom fill out the patient forms in Spanish and staying with her to comfort her throughout the process. Her pain improved quickly. We are incredibly grateful for the care we received. It’s rare to find a dentist who combines humbleness with genuine.

I hadn’t been to the dentist since before COVID and had a lot of anxiety, so I was definitely in avoidance mode. Eventually, the time came, and a professor from UNLV recommended Star Brite Dental. I can honestly say that everything about the experience was so positive that my anxiety almost immediately disappeared.
The staff is genuinely kind and welcoming. They verified my insurance right away and clearly explained my benefits. You’re treated more like a friend than a client here—they remember my name every time I check in and consistently follow up to make sure I’m comfortable throughout the entire treatment process.

Dr. Do became by family dentist after he took care of my emergency tooth pain on the same day. He is very patience, straightforward and EXTREMELY GENTLE, which makes every visit the past 4 years comfortable. His prices are cheaper compared to other dental offices that I got quoted, and scheduling appointments is always easy. I am happy to find a doctor I can trust. They also take a variety of 65+ and children insurances so our entire family can see him routinely.

It was a stressful situation with the tooth also my insurance did not cover outside of California. Their gentle approach and humble demeanor immediately put me at ease. If you need a new dental office this could be it. As someone with some dental anxiety and bad experiences in the past I can highly recommend this dental office. Everyone is super professional and friendly. I felt very taken care of and considered. I have some missing teeth and all options talked about had me, my health and my comfort as a main focus. Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE! They helped me get back my smile back, literally, and restored my confidence in my appearance which I had lost for over 3 years. The staff is absolutely WONDERFUL! I was very anxious at first, having trouble with prior dentists, however, they calmed my nerves. I went to this clinic for a dental cleaning a few days ago, I must say that the doctor and the assistants are very friendly and do a very good job, this was my second visit, the first visit was a year ago, I must clarify (I chose this clinic precisely because they accept my insurance) everything was fine the first time but on this second visit the person at the front desk after having finished my dental cleaning told me that my insurance did not cover the visit until about a week later,I understand that it is not their fault that the insurance did not cover something but they should have given me the option before the procedure was done at least that is what all the clinics I have visited do, at that point I could not leave and come back in a week because they had already done the cleaning, end of story I had to pay for the visit.

I finally decided to use my insurance. Out of the 5 places I called Star Brite Dental was able to verify my insurance and was able to see me immediately. I was happy that they were close to my home and happened to have an opening available. Everyone was friendly and both the Dentist and his assistant were very kind, friendly, and best of all, non judgemental! It was my first teeth cleaning ever and it went smoothly. I honestly wish I would have came sooner, but I get anxiety just having to book any type of medical procedure.

A couple of issues here. The staff is incredibly nice and I appreciate that. Unfortunately that was the best part of my experience. I had some fillings on the upper part of my mouth. After they were filled, I had horrible sensitivity and pain - but was told it was normal. To the point I couldn't even chew solid food or drink water. I still have this pain to this day and a lot of sensitivity. Even after I brought it up in post appointments, I was told it was normal based on where the work was done. So I just had to deal with it. Also I had a front tooth filling done from a chipped tooth that he had to fix several times because it kept because it kept breaking off. I have had my front tooth fixed since I chipped it when I was 7, each of these fixes lasted years, the ones I got done here broke off each time within a month or so. Honestly wish I never had him touch it. Advertises cosmetic dentistry but can't get a front tooth filling to stay more than a month??
Very frustrated. Do better.

The office has helped me out on multiple occasions, including with a need for urgent care when a family member was visiting from out of town and they squeezed us in for an appointment. Dr.Do Was WOW! I am pregnant (6months) and came in with severe tooth pain , had to get an extraction after antibiotics . My extraction was the best dental experience I’ve ever had . I’m usually very nervous due to really bad dental experiences , but they made me feel so calm , they made me laugh and assured me everything was going to be ok and that all medication given was ok for me and baby . He worked fast and my husband looked at the whole thing and said he was amazing . His staff amazing the dental assistants seriously the best very empathetic and very nice . I found my new dentist in Las Vegas! The dentist, Dr Steven Do and his staff are both professional and provide a stress free environment. It is not always easy to find a dentist office where you feel cared for, listened to... and also trustworthy. My cleaning was fabulous and Dr. Do went over the digital x-ray images with me, explaining everything thoroughly.

Dr. Xa and his staff are the BEST EVER! I have gone to Starbrite for almost 15 years now; my whole family goes to Starbrite, my neighbors go to Starbrite Dental as well. If anyone ever asks me if I know a good dentist, I tell them, "no, I know a GREAT DENTIST"!

The office is beautiful and relaxing. Dr. Xa and his staff are caring, professional and it is like seeing old friends every time I go. The receptionist and most of the staff have been with Dr. Xa for 15 years. I have extremely sensitive teeth and get a little wound up when I have to go to the dentist. However, I have never had any pain with any treatment at Starbrite ( i've had everything from fillings to root canals.). I leave every appointment thinking "Wow, that was so easy! I can't believe I'm done already!"

Dr. Xa's work is excellent. My son is away at college, his girlfriend is pre-dental. She talked him into being a "patient" in the student practice - every staff member and multiple professors came over and commented on what excellent dental work my son has (all from Dr. Xa) - they even filmed some of it to show student examples.

Dr. Xa is very conservative and always goes with the least invasive, most effective treatment. He and his staff and are always very conscious of costs and I always leave feeling like I got an amazing deal for top quality work. Starbrite Dental is not a "dental factory" where they push patients in and out of the chair - at Starbrite, Dr. Xa and his staff do whatever it takes for the best result for each patient and spend all the time needed to care for a patient.

My brother is autistic and has always had a hard time going to the dentist. The dentists that were recommended for special needs clients all wanted to sedate him - he has very bad reactions to drugs so I didn't want to do that. I took a chance and brought him to Dr. Xa. My brother didn't even get nervous, he was so relaxed he fell asleep a little and this is after a cleaning and having a tooth pulled.

Starbrite Dental is amazing, I wish there were 10 stars I could give! I highly recommend them.

My husband went in, today, with tooth pain. The only option they claimed he had was to extract two bicucpids! Probably the most extreme of choices; however, that aside, he returned completely butchered! He is in incredible pain and 5 hours later he is still bleeding profusely. The roof of his mouth has two gashes and he described that the "dentist" was tugging at his mouth and struggling, when he slipped, not once, but several times. Seriously!? This is someone's mouth, not a chew toy! My boyfriend is not a complainer nor sensitive; but, right now, he is keeping to himself, curled up, with a warm compression, on his entire face. I grew up in a dental office, visiting my mother at her work, and I've never seen such damage over an extraction! I'm complaining, in person, and to whomever else recognizes this mal practice!

I took my cousin for an extraction about a month ago.

His wait time was under 5 minutes from check-in. His procedure went very well. They never tried to up-sell him and he said the process was completely painless. After his positive experience I have scheduled my own apt.

The waiting area is a bit run down which is probably not the best first impression but the staff was friendly to me.

Updated 2/14/15 I went to see Dentist Hai Xa. The receptionist was again very nice. It also looks like the waiting area has improved. Xa is not the same dentist who saw my cousin.

As I waited in the procedure room I kept hearing the dentist ask how long he had been there that day. As he entered my room he made absolutely no introductions and started right in. This is no exaggeration and a first for any dentist in my experience.

Right away I experienced some pain and winced. He kept telling me my gums were the problem. As I winced again, he pulled back and started to berate me about the difference between pain and pressure. He was clearly agitated that I was having any reaction. Thankfully it was over quickly and he walked out without saying another word. I am a long serving vet and have experienced more than my share of pain and drill/training sergeants getting in my face. The only worse dental exp for me was in Panama 25 years ago, and that dentist had a much better demeanor.

My cousin was scheduled to return for dentures but we are looking into finding a new dentist. I also need dentures now and this was the first time a dentist did not at least try and set up a followup appt. to consider my needs.

If you choose to visit the office I would recommend you avoid Dr. Xa.

Horrible customer service. I sat in the office without being spoken to for 20 minutes. Finally I asked if I needed to fill out any paper work. 25 minutes after my appointment time they finally took me into the back. A fourth employee saw me in the back and at this point I had been in the office 35 minutes without anyone saying hello, hi, how are you etc. Not a single greeting from 4 different ladies.

While I was waiting a young family came in. They were greeted and told to fill out paper work. The unpleasant white woman took a small girl in the back and was promptly back out front telling the father to go somewhere else because she couldn't get the little girl to take xrays. Maybe if the white woman had a pleasant personality instead of the warmth of wall paper paste the visit would have gone better for both of us. She told the family to leave prior to my being taken in back. Three more customers you don't get I suppose.

While I was in back the unpleasant woman came in to tell me that my insurance that I had used in February at another dentist and my wife had used at this office in January had been cancelled in 2004. I got on the phone with my wife to confirm the account number for our policy. The Dentist came in while I was supposed to be signing an additional form I had forgotten to fill out in the waiting room. Don't forget I had to ask the 3 women at the counter in the waiting room, after waiting for 20 minutes without being acknowledged, if i needed to fill any out. The dentist, I can only assume it was the dentist although I don't know because he did not introduce himself to me either, looked briefly in my mouth and left the room. At which point the unpleasant woman came back into the room to say that I needed a cleaning and they would have to schedule it another day!

Um, hello! Of course I need a cleaning that is why I called on Thursday to schedule this Monday morning appointment at your office for a CLEANING! I wasn't there to be ignored and then thrown out without the service I had made the appointment for in the first place.

To recap. This office was rude, unprofessional, and clearly not in need of customers based on how they treated the two new ones I saw in the 45 painful minutes I was in the office.
