This was my first visit to Desert Orthopedics and I have to say Dr Nishiyama was awesome! He took the time to explain the condition of my hip in great detail while viewing my mri image. He has excellent bed side manner, very easy to talk to, felt very relaxed about asking questions. His assistant was also very nice as well as the front desk staff. I simply cannot recommend this place enough, just a very pleasant experience.

Dr. Nishiyama explained my options in a clear and thorough manner. He listened to all of my questions and answered them thoughtfully. He is personable, professional, and very knowledgeable and experienced. I would not hesitate to have Dr. Nishiyama perform surgery.

Best doctor ever and I’ve been to many in my lifetime!! Dr Nishiyama takes his time, asks a ton of questions to better understand the problem, gives his recommendations, answers questions, and to top it off the staff is amazing!!! Highly recommend. You will not be sorry!
