It been 16 years since Dr. Sanders replaced my right knee. I had a routine knee check. The x-rays in the counseling with Dr Sanders showed the knee replacement was in perfect condition and as I told him I have had absolutely no problems with that knee. I would recommend him over anyone for a knee replacement. Next appointment is in two years.

I will like to thank God first and also Steven Sanders and all his staff ,he gave me another chance to be myself again with my Hip surgery. In the beginning I was really nervous and scared because I didn't know what to expect but , after having the surgery with Steven Sanders, I can honestly recommend anyone that has hip pain to have it checked. Steven Sanders is straight forward and will let you know what's wrong and all options their are to correct the problem. Dr Sander’s office is amazing. The office staff is fast, responsive, easy to reach and very accommodating. my doctor for nine years ,definitely my husband‘s doctor for about 18 years.
The staff is always amazing !
Magaly is his assistant , and always get back to me with any concerns I know definitely that she is his backbone. She is very very good at what she does which is just about everything except surgery.
Dr. Sanders is very thorough
about the visit ; goes over your chart of the past, what the visit brings you in for, the Pre-op chart before surgeries the accuracy of testing that’s required before surgery .
I know it sounds like a resume, but he doesn’t need one. This surgeon has been around for many years and was the UFC's surgeon on site .His profession, always in the patient’s favor with accuracy . l’m glad my husband found him and grateful that I have been recommended to him, !!!

Dr. Sanders knows what he's doing. He worked on my shoulder, a 2-hour surgery that turned into 4 hours. He said he did a lot of work on it. I'm just having a little problems with it. There might be leaking fluid so I'm doing an MRI actually an orthogram and then we'll go from there. But far as that he is a excellent surgeon. I give him five stars

Dr. Sanders was recommended by my primary physician. She said if he says you need surgery, then you need surgery. He doesn't like to perform surgery unless it's absolutely necessary. He will not tell you what to do, but give you options and let you choose. If you ask him what he would recommend, he will give you your options again. His options are his recommendations. He doesn't pressure you one way or another. If you elect surgery, you will be glad you used Dr. Sanders. He is a very skilled orthopedic.

I'm so disappointed with the treatment I received here from Dr Sanders and his staff. I came here after reading the great reviews. He was very confrontational with me and wouldn't even let me speak only allowing me to answer in yes or no to his questions. I didn't find him to be friendly at all as the reviews stated and I told him so 🤷. He didn't like that needless to say. Anyway, after words were exchanged, I decided that I wasn't here for his personality, but knowledge and experience. He gave me an injection and told me he would submit to my insurance for a gel shot for my knee. That was back in August. When I went for my next appointment, nobody ever told me it wasn't approved yet after waiting for him for an hour. I asked for a refund which I got. I called back 2 months later to find out why I still have not heard back from the office only to be told that I had to call the out of state pharmacy and have the gel shot paid for then shipped to the doctors office. This is what his assistant told me. I called the pharmacy and they had no idea who I was or what I was talking about. I called back the next day and spoke to someone else to tell them what the pharmacy had said. She took the information and I still have not heard from them again. I turned to this place for help for my pain and I was just discarded and ignored like I was nothing. They should be ashamed of themselves for their lack of respect and professionalism

Dr. Sanders is an amazing surgeon! A few years ago I ended up in the Trauma Center as the result of an accident with a femur that was fractured in 2 places. Dr. Sanders put me back together well. My leg completely healed, I have regained all my strength and flexibility (through a lot of hard work and effort). I'm as good a new. He is smart, direct and a masterful surgeon at fixing the most difficult injuries. He's #1 in my book.

There are better doctors to choose from. Disappointingly, I found his personality smug and condescending. Given this, he could still be a good doctor but come to find out that was also a disappointment.
He barely steps into the room, without making eye contact opens your file and reads through the notes out loud almost as if talking to himself. He hates questions!
I asked him about the swelling associated with my injury to which he responded, “I’m not a swelling doctor”. Another visit, we discussed treatment so I asked him what he would do if it was his shoulder to which he responded “You are deflecting”. What????Another time he told me “Sure I’ll do surgery, I have a mortgage to pay” and winked at me from behind his mask and baseball hat.
I don’t recommend him. Please continue your search for a more caring and more interested doctor.

I was sent to Dr Sanders through workers Comp. This after seeing 4 other doctors who could not find the source of my chronic pain.... including one doctor who actually closed my claim. This same doctor had me sit 50 min in an exam room after saying to his staff " oh, it's a workers Comp? I was near tears"

Needless to say I am beyond happy that at my first appointment with Dr Sanders he pretty much asked me the right questions about location of pain. Level of pain. And my current abilities and disabilities..... I am now being treated by excellent PTs and feel we are going in the right direction - FINALLY!
Now, he does have a bit of a direct approach, but I want a serious doctor to fix me- I'll save the warm fuzzy feelings for after I'm better.

Dr. Sanders is by far the best Orthopedic surgeon/Dr in town, and unfortunely I've had to see a few but he will definetly be the last. Other doctors have just thrown in the towel and basically said I'm going to have to live with the pain in my leg. Dr. Sanders worked with me for months and said he wouldn't stop until he figured it out. He's very intelligent, highly skilled, has a great bed side manner and will spend all the time you need answering all your questions, he makes you feel like you are his only patient. His staff is amazing nice and very polite i loved them. He was horrible to me. He was very rude and pretty much accused me of faking because the shot they gave me didnt help me. Stating and i quote "that gelps everyone. I find it hard to believe it didnt help you". I wish he could feel every bit of pain i feel everyday. He refused renew my subscription for my ice machine the only thing that helped ease the pain because i dont have any pain medication that helps. I've never seen a doctor that made me uncomfortable but being on worksman comp i cant change doctors so im stuck with him.

Hip replacement is 17 years old and never had any problems. I was referred by my intrernalis because dr sanders did his mother’s hip. No bs. Tells you what you need to know and you are done
