The staff at Stride Foot & Ankle were very pleasant and helpful. I filled out a form on Saturday to be contacted for an appointment, I was called Monday morning to fill in for a cancelation that afternoon, and was even seen a couple minutes early. Let me just say theres a reason why Doc is so highly rated. This is genuinely the BEST experience I have ever had with a Doctor. I would leave a 20 star review if it was possible. I came to him 2 weeks ago saying “I know this a pain Doc I’m sorry but my out of pocket deductible is on the 30th is it possible to get me in?” Didn't even blink and he made it happen with 8 days to spare. Great experience. Dr. Wassel really takes the time to listen to how you hurt your foot and talks you through the next steps for healing.
I had sprained my ankle something terrible in June and I am still suffering from some pain due to a tear. I should have seen him sooner.
He recommended a brace and some high arch flip flops for me to use around the house and a few hours after my appointment im already feeling less pain when walking around the house in these flip flops. This Dr. has literally changed the trajectory of my family’s life. Dr Wassel has not only done what other Dr.’s said they would do but he has went over and beyond for my husband. We have been praying that someone would listen and know how to be able to help my husband with a 29 year old injury where he tore his foot completely off and it was sown back on without any tendon repair or skin grafting. I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Wassel a few months ago for treatment of my Achilles tendinitis. I was out of town and desperately needed to see a podiatrist. Not only was his office beautiful and well maintained, his staff was awesome and accommodating, and his bedside manner was excellent. My review used to be 4 stars but it is now 1. I had a procedure where afterwards I was unable to ask the doctor further questions about post- treatment care and was denied the chance to ask extra questions because he was busy. I still spoke highly of the doctor, his staff, and the treatment received. I simply had a small grievance, which I talked about in my 4 star review .During the next visit, Dr. Wassell passively aggressively referenced my review. I was stunned and believed the situation should have been handled with more tact. I wanted to converse and instead he gave me attitude unbecoming of a doctor. I still enjoyed my care for the most part and believed that this would simply be a bump in what has been quality care. However, after my next appointment; a assistant of his calls me to say " since you're unsatisfied with your care, we're going to give you a list of other options". I wasn't so bothered by the care that I wanted to leave but they forced me out and canceled my appointment. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anybody else based purely on the ego that was showed. Quality Care ruined by an inability to take criticism.

Im giving this place a 1 star because they charged me a 205$ new patient fee. This fee was never articulated to me before my appointment. I found it looking at my astronomical bill I had received.
This kind of overcharging is getting out of hand. The dr is cool and the staff are nice but the price isn't worth it. We sit in the waiting room longer than he is actually working on the foot. Then sells you an overpriced ointment you can buy at the store. We definitely won't be back and if the problem persists we will do some research and hopefully find a dr who isn't trying to rip you off.

I highly recommend Dr Wassell. This review is based on me seeing him about 2 or 3 years ago for a torn Achilles tendon and he gave me an injection of stem cells in that area and it has been good as new ever since. I can't believe how well the stem cells have worked on repairing that area. He is not one to rush you into surgery and explorers any other options besides surgery.

I had broken the top of my foot years ago and had no problems then suddenly it hurts all the time.
I like the Dr. He's very personable, and friendly. I was a bit worried as I seen online he is a surgeon and was afraid surgery was going to be his go to recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised that surgery never came up. He gave me his thoughts of what it could be, and recommendations to try. I like non evasive starts to a problem and I hope this works. I highly recommend.

Editing to say his recommendations were all that was needed. He fitted me for inserts and gave me compression socks, and a few exercises to try. A coworker just told me about her foot problems and it reminded me that I once had a foot problem. I couldn't even tell you how long it took to work. Thanks again to him and his staff.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Wassel for my Plantar Fasciitis & Achilles pain for a little over a year now. And, I couldn't be more pleased with the care I received. Every time I walk into the office, the staff are always friendly and professional. Jasmine and Danielle are always awesome! The office has a lot of space and very clean as well. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr Wassel and his staff.
We went in for my daughter’s ingrown toenail.
Dr. Wassel is so good with kids, he was even able to get her talking. (She’s known my hair girl for 11 years and she barely speaks to her! lol). As a parent, I’m always worried when we have to go to a dr or a hospital. Some doctors just don’t know how to communicate with children. Dr Wassel does!
Even though we had it removed earlier today, and she’s in some pain, she says she can’t wait to go back and have her other one removed!
Highly recommend this practice!

I wasn’t the patient of Dr Wassel but my fiancé. The doctor was so welcoming, charismatic, understanding and very kind to the patient Abu AQ. Abu said he would love to go back and see the doctor again and this patient who is a 90 yr old man is very sensitive and likes to be respected all the time and he got that from Dr Wassel.

I went in for heel pain. Dr. Wasser immediately touched my foot found the spot and diagnosed me with Plantar Faciatis. He told me the cheapest way to treat it was either an injection or pills for pain and then stretching every day and using ice. I choose the injection and was in and out in 15 minutes. Very clean facility and very nice and and professional doctor.

There are very few medical facilities or providers in Las Vegas that I will give a positive review . This is a genuine five-star review for a pleasant experience friendly staff and the doctor is very nice. The facility is clean and the doctor spends plenty of time with you to get to know your situation and although I've only seen him the one time I do feel he truly cares so he either does or he's good at faking it LOL

Don't buy the bandages he is peddling.

In response to your reply. I did not “voluntarily” purchase bandages I purchased them because YOU the DR told me to use them under your direction. Yes I gave you a bad review. You watched my toe rot for a month under your supervision. I spent 5 days in the hospital. I had 6 weeks of antibiotic injections. I lost 2 months of work and have thousands of dollars in hospital bills. And for you to say a simple phone call could fix it. I was in your office multiple times and you couldn't fix it. You made it happen. I went to see you to check a bump on the bottom of my right foot. You decided to cut a blister on a toe on my left foot and create a hole in it which got infected. Your bandages are plastic and do not breath causing the skin to rot off. I was informing people not to purchase your bandages to avoid what happened to me. That was it. Your pompous remark is why I am adding to this review. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend.

One of the best and most compassionate doctors that I have ever met. He truly cares about his patients and makes a personal connection with you right away. I came in with a recurring ingrown toenail that my previous podiatrist was not able to remove. Dr. Wassel did the whole procedure in less than 10 minutes and I was not in any pain after the procedure. Thank you!!
