I recently had a consultation with Dr. Cohan on how best to move forward with a complex dental implant situation.

Dr. Cohan was professional, kind, patient and truly listened to my concerns about the various treatment options available to me. She went above and beyond in discussing the merits of each option, and, she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in determining specifically what the best option was for me.

Moved here not too long ago and was searching for new doctors. I unfortunately had a dental issue and no dentist except my one at home …. It’s my first time to be in Vegas for dental service and it’s been amazing! I must admit that I am always afraid to go dentist or I should say I am never a fan to go to see the dentist. But Dr Cohan has made my experiences so pleasant that I am not alway good to go and see her when I need to. Dr Cohen is just a very kind person, helped me out of a pinch when I've got a lot going on in my mouth. She was more interested in helping me than in money -- she took so much time for me it's unbelievable. She came in early just for me and was able to provide treatment that I'm happy with, not just shove her recommendations down my throat like other dentists have.

Her rates are reasonable, matching other dentists or cheaper. I really appreciate her holistic and alternative medicine knowledge.

I went to this dentist because I saw her Google reviews!

I previously went to another dentist in town, but I did not trust that dentist(I do not want to mention the company or the dentist's name, just be polite) because her words did not match those of my previous dentist.

Having that in mind, I changed to this dentist and asked this Dentist what was her opinion about of my pervious dental report when I visit the dental office today. What she said to me was unexpected. Her literary response is, “You can go back to that dentist.” As a patient, it is legitimate to ask that question, and I do not understand why she was so quickly offended! She is highly educated as a dentist, yet her attitude toward the patient may be unprofessional in my personal opinion!

For fixing teeth, honestly, she has done a good job!

Dr. Marianne Cohan is definitely the best dentist is Las Vegas. My first visit I went in for my cleanings and she did a full evaluation and saw that I have decay on a couple of teeth that needs attention. She also looked into my front teeth and recommended a couple of options for me cosmetically if it was something I was interested in. She was not pushy at all and I like that. She had her front desk Lani who was also amazing to print me out the breakdown of the costs of what she discussed and recommended. Dr. Cohan does live up to her goal in working with her patients to create a healthy mouth and stunning smile. Her staff was nice and friendly, and I like the atmosphere and vibe of her office. And the bonus was the windows with outside view. I really like that. Overall it was a great first time experience.

Mind blown. I have no clue how this practice has 4.9 stars. I gave one star for the free toothbrush because it was required. This was my experience...

Robot or human? You decide.

Firstly, Dr. Cohan has ZERO bedside manner. I just moved to Las Vegas from Tampa, and it was my first (and last) time at this practice. For starters, she did not even say hello to me! She didn't introduce herself and she didn't ask my name, literally nothing. And then it got worse...

She kept insulting me, my teeth, and my mouth (WTH?). She was using terms that I was unfamiliar with, and when I asked her to explain further, she didn't bother.

She was abrupt and rude, had no personality, and made me feel like I was an alien. I was sitting in the chair thinking, "Is this woman trying to upset me or make me cry?" She was also extremely rough in looking at my mouth and during the cleaning (Side note: I've never had a dentist do the cleaning ever in my life.) I had just explained to her that my gums were especially sensitive and she made me feel even worse, as if there was something wrong with me. No dentist has EVER made me feel like that before in any city or state that I've lived in.

She even started badmouthing dentists on the East Coast. Well, guess what? I've seen several dentists in Florida and Georgia who actually took the time to get to know me and made going to the dentist a pleasant experience. She made it seem like "her way" was somehow superior, but if being rude and ugly to your patients is her way, then count me out.

I almost walked out the door before the cleaning when I found out that she was the one who was going to do it, but I just sucked it up and stayed since I was already there. But it continued to get worse...

I told one of the hygienists that I was extremely uncomfortable and did not care for the way the dentist spoke to me or handled the situation. It gets better...

She completely agreed with me and answered my questions for me, since the dentist wouldn't. Then, she told me quietly, "I really wish that I could tell you more, but I'm being watched on camera right now, and if I say anything, I'll get in trouble." Just unreal. I think that about said it all.

In case that's not enough, the practice told me that it would be a 30-day waiting period for them to even give me an estimate on the work they suggested. That's not true, because multiple dentists (past and present) have been able to give me an estimate before I walked out of the office. Then, the practice tried to pass me off to a specialist, and when I asked for more information, they didn't answer.

I sent one final email after the fact for additional clarification, and no surprise, it went unanswered.

You decide. There are hundreds of dentists to choose from in Las Vegas. If you want someone who greets you, is polite, listens, and has compassion, then you do NOT want to go to this office.

I can't for the life of me imagine why someone would go into a profession helping people with such a disturbing, hateful, and low vibrational demeanor.

Dr. Cohan is literally the last person on earth that I would want in my mouth.

My first time there for a cleaning and I was very happy leaving the office. The location is conveniently located right across from Boca Park. It was a little tricky to find as it is in a large white building that more resembles a mansion than an office/medical building. But once you find it, you’ll be happy you discovered this gem because it is absolutely gorgeous. Parking was easy and the office itself is very clean and comfortable. I was welcomed immediately and brought back to a room, no wait at all. Dr. Cohan did my cleaning and she was gentle, thorough and professional. I left with a cute “goodie bag” and a smile on my face. Today was my first visit to Dr. Cohan’s practice and I am very pleased. Her receptionist is friendly and efficient. Her dental hygienist was pleasant and efficient as well! The equipment for cleaning teeth is “ high tech “ and the procedure took far less time than it had with my former dentist. Dr. Cohan took time to go over my x-rays and suggested some things that may need attention in the future.
My husband and I went together and while I waited for him I sat in the comfortable, attractive waiting room and listened to beautiful music!

Disappointing experience to say the least! Dr. Cohan did my exam & cleaning in 10 minutes, despite my previous cleaning being 2 years ago! Gorgeous office but they must pay for it by pressuring patients into getting services they don’t need. Extremely hard sale for Invisalign (she doesn’t do braces), even on the phone when scheduling my appointment prior to stepping foot in her office. Told her several times I was getting metal braces at the orthodontist but she continued to insist showing me before & after pictures, etc to the point where I was uncomfortable. Absolutely hands down best dentist I have gone to, very clean and happy environment and very informative about what is going on and what to do moving forward. I called several local Dentists when I moved here from Sarasota Florida… And the front desk here was so courteous, professional and friendly on the phone that I was enticed ...and sure glad I was and chose this dental practice.
Seriously couldn’t be better and
Dr. Cohan couldn’t be nicer or more professional...And I’m really picky !

I've been going to Dr Karn's practice for over 30 years. Always have been treated with respect & care. I love all the employees I come in contact with there . Todays visit was no different. I may have only had a dental cleaning but the girl who did the procedure was in every way, friendly, professional, & provided a great experience. She went out of her way to help me with concerns I questioned her about, & provided me with very helpful information I needed. I explained some problem I have been having with one of my teeth & she made me feel comfortable with the way the tooth is healing.

The way a dentist office used to be...and should be. You’re more than your insurance and bank account. Dr. Karn cares about your health. The hygienists are gentle and never condescending (Melissa is mine and very kind). Troy handles your insurance and related business matters very carefully. You will pay more for this. And it’s worth every penny.
