My regular cleaning is handled quickly and with minimal discomfort. I left this office feeling completely devastated. Saving $180 for a basic teeth cleaning was already a huge sacrifice for me and instead I was charged $90 only to be told that the cleaning I actually needed would cost $1,900.

I explained that $180 was a luxury for me, so hearing that I needed to come up with $1,900 felt overwhelming. I honestly wanted to cry. I walked out with half of the money I had worked so hard to save gone, no cleaning done, and I still have the dental issues that make me so self-conscious.

The lack of transparency about the costs beforehand left me feeling ripped off and hopeless. This experience was heartbreaking, and I left feeling worse than when I walked in.

Beyond wonderful experience @ Dr Spillers office. After ONE visit in 2018 to get a dental plan + cost estimate, I put off my MUCH NEEDED dental work until Feb 2025. Even 7yrs later, Dr Spillers & Ciara(front office mgr) remembered me! At that 1st appt in Feb 2025, I gave Dr Spillers the “go ahead”. They had no problem getting upper & lower molds done that day and a “plan” with exact dates for future appointments. After just ONE appt, both assistants (Chad & Vee) knew me by name and were 100% aware of my dental problems/plan/work to be done.
Originally my main reason for choosing Dr Spillers (-vs- the other 4 dentists I’d seen in 2018), was he is trained & licensed in multiple types of sedation services Including full sedation! This allowed me to have multiple extractions & 9 crowns done while asleep and without having to be sent to an outside ‘oral surgeon’…..wherein I’d just be another cog in the wheel…know no one, no personal connection(s), all while undergoing sedation for major dental surgery. NO THANK YOU!! I’ve done it in the past and was specifically looking/wanting a dentist that can/will do in-office sedation services.
I was just in the Summit Dental office a few days ago. Every single patient in the waiting room seemed to be known by the dental assistant &/or hygienist when they were called/taken back.
Btw….except for this weeks appt where I was a walk-in, I’ve never had a wait time longer than 5 minutes! This too is important! Who wants to have a 10am dental or doctor appt , not even get called until 10:46am, put in an exam room and wait another 15-45minutes?!?😡😡.
Most dental & doctor offices are overwhelmed with patients & appointments. Summit Dental(Dr Spillers) is NOTHING like that!! No overcrowded waiting room, on-time appointments, Dr & assistants know you, friendly front desk girls(Vanessa & Ciara) who know their stuff AND….they give an automatic 20% discount for all patients with no dental insurance.

Just finished my twice yearly cleaning. As usual, everyone was wonderful. Very short wait, but I was early…went in at my scheduled time. For those who read this, get a Waterpick—it will make your cleanings much shorter. Anyway, I’ve visited at least two other dentists before getting a referral from my oral surgeon and this practice is the best and most reasonable.

I've been going here since 2009 and the staff is wonderful and the dentist is very good and personable. I recommend them wholeheartedly! PS: Their implants are affordable.

I recently visited this clinic for a dental cleaning, X-rays, fillings, and even a crown — all done in just a few hours! Not impressed during my first visit at this office. I was there for too long (around couple of hours including check in and wait time) for a routine cleaning. Not impressed with the dental hygienist. She came across rude, I didn’t feel comfortable in the office and was shocked when I was told that I had periodontal disease with numbers to include 5 and 6 with perio charting performed by the hygienist. The dentist was a nice man however not much of a thorough exam or explanations other than he agreed with the hygienist. I wanted a routine cleaning which I finally got however it felt rushed and subpar at best. The rest of the time I was being “sold” that I needed scaling and root planning as part of a two visit deep clean for periodontal disease. I visit the dentist every 6 months and this was the first I’ve heard of this so I became skeptical. I made another appointment with a different dental office for a second opinion and so happy I did! The dentist himself performed a thorough examination include cancer screening of head, neck, mouth, perio charting with only 2, 3 and few 4s but absolutely NO 5 and 6. I do not have periodontal disease and deep cleaning not recommended at this time however he did recommend regular cleanings every 4 months vs 6. This dentist also went over all X-rays and pictures in detail and explained concerns in detail. Summit Dental missed the mark, will not return.

I wanted to take my time writing this because I really wanted to find the right words to express just how grateful I am to have found this office. For most of my life, going to the dentist has been extremely difficult due to abuse I experienced over the course of several years involving my childhood dentist. Since then, dental visits have triggered an overwhelming amount of anxiety, fear, and panic. This is not something I talk about easily or frequently, but I know it’s important to share because finding a place that feels this safe and supportive is incredibly rare.

The front desk staff were so warm and welcoming, which immediately helped ease some of that intense anxiety. I also want to give special recognition to Rachael, who was incredibly patient and compassionate throughout the entire visit—never rushing me, always making sure I felt okay, and treating me with genuine care and respect. That alone meant more to me than I can fully explain.

And then there’s Dr. Spillers. He was calm, kind, and incredibly gentle—not just in his care, but in his whole demeanor. He took the time to talk through everything with me, including various options should I need them—never once making me feel uncomfortable or unheard. For someone with my history, that level of understanding and empathy is really wonderful.

This office is a true blessing. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a compassionate space. You have no idea how much it means to me.

I am from the east coast and have been in Las Vegas for 20 years but always fly back east for my wonderful dentist. Today I was referred to Dr. Spillers as I lost a crown and could not fly back east. I was pleasantly surprised with the state of the art facility and Dr. Spillers is so gentle and a perfectionist which is what I wanted. Today was my first visit to Dr Spillers Summit Dental Clinic located at 950 So Durango Dr and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. His office runs like a well-oiled machine and his entire staff is exceptionally courteous and knowledgeable. As a former Healthcare Clinic Administrator I can say with a great deal of certainty that Dr Spillers is a cut above the best out there. He did such a great job replacing my broken crown and the whole procedure was done from start to finish in under 2 hours since they are able to mill the crown in their facility. Felt welcomed the second I walked in the door. Everything is clean and comfortable. Everyone was kind and had a smile on their face. I have a lot of dental issues and a lot of work that needs to be done. I have extreme anxiety about the whole situation and Dr. Spillers walked me through everything and helped me understand all of the things I have going on with my teeth. I felt relief with the plan he gave me and I haven’t felt that in many years. I have a feeling me and my family will be coming here for a very long time!

High quality customer services that let you know what is going on with your dental health and try to do what is best for your health. The most shocking aspect to me is the price of the service. I was expecting too pay over 3 thousand with insurance, however, it barely reached over 2 thousand without insurance and the insurance I had took it down a good portion. Overall, high quality customer service, waste none of your time, and get you ready asap

I had to go in as an emergency visit re a broken tooth; Dr. Spillers gave me options and then when I chose to have the tooth pulled rather than choosing a root canal and cap, he didn’t argue or try to push it. He is very kind, caring and efficient, as are all the staff and aides at Summit Dental.
He explained what he was doing during the procedure and that helped with my anxiety. ☺️
I have recommended Summit Dental to my family and friends over the years and will continue to do so.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Spillers and his staff! I've been a patient for over 8 years and this week I was reminded why. Experienced a lot of pain and was seen same day. I have chronic pain and I was taken such good care of while having a last minute root canal. Had a very stubborn and sensitive nerve which required a lot of numbing, including an Injection directly in the nerve to remove. Thank goodness for nitrous! Dr. Spillers took every opportunity to mitigate any discomfort. This has been a constant and why I will always be a patient of Summit Dental.

Great dental appointment, as dental appointments go. But really! a very nice, smaller office with a very professional crew running the place. And hygienist Heather was super easy going on the teeth. And they even have a TV mounted on the ceiling above the recliner chair so you can still watch your fav show while undergoing a cleaning or teeth repair work. One of my better dental experiences.

Super Honest and Caring! During a recent visit my wife who thought needed a wisdom tooth extracted, then thought why not remove all four? It was Dr. Spillers who gentley discouraged the elective extractions when there is no real medical reason to pull any one of them. Some dentists would jump at the opportunity to make $$$ to pull teath, Not Dr. Spillers! He only wants what is best for his patients and not what is best for his wallet!

I was 2 hrs away from home visiting a friend and had an emergency situation. They were able to fit me in and advised me to come at 4:00pm and they were so also nice enough to call me that they were able able to get me in 1 hr earlier at 3:00. I can’t even describe the warmth, caring, and kindness from Dr Christopher Spillers and his assistant Chello. The whole entire staff was amazing!! They knew I lived a big distance away but they treated me like any of there patients. It’s really indescribable how I felt walking out of there office as I felt like part of the family. Dr. Spillers is great! Explained everything in clear & concise form. Took time out of his schedule to do my impressions even tho this was supposed to be a consult only appt. I had given him the timeframe I wanted all this dental work done by, they booked my 1st appt for next Monday, will have 1 more after that and then surgery day on March 4th.
Sierra, who works the counter(appts, billing, payments, insurance etc…) really knows her stuff!!
With future appts and major dental work getting done over the next month, I will update this review if there are any changes

Being older, I've seen a multitude of dental services. Engineering was my career so I pay attention to details. In my experience, most dental offices are average; a bunch are obviously inferior and only a few are truly excellent. Summit is excellent. Small staff means more control with everyone pulling together. Great team, that work to complement each other. I did NOT get the feeling things were rushed or behind schedule. Nice, pleasant, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Current and Modern equipment and office processes.
Heather-the-Hygienist is World Class. You know how some hygienists will ask you to move you head left or right, etc? She moved around me efficiently and effortlessly. No chokes, gags or coughing necessary. Wow, was I pleased.
Hate to say it, but I'm actually looking forward to my next visit.

I had the absolute best experience at Summit Dental! I recently underwent major dental surgery, and even though I’m usually terrified of going to the dentist, this practice completely changed my perspective.

The dentist was truly outstanding—so patient, calm, professional, and kind. All the qualities you’d hope for in a dentist, they delivered tenfold. The staff as a whole was incredible, going above and beyond to ensure I felt safe and calm every step of the way. Their genuine care and hospitality made such a difference for me.

The practice itself is remarkably efficient. I’ve never seen anything like it! I waited less than a few minutes in the lobby, despite the constant flow of patients. It’s clear why so many people choose Summit Dental—they’ve mastered balancing efficiency with top-notch care.
