So far, the doctor and the staff are great and friendly at the West Charleston Clinic. Dr. Suneetha Chinta, MD took the time to listen to my concerns. She offered beneficial solutions based on what I needed for my care. I believe it's important, and it's a huge component in any business in terms of great customer service and kindness. On the other hand, I think the patient portal needs improvement, in my opinion. I find the information results confusing. It is not patient friendly in terms of test results. For example, you should..

1. List the Iab test you took.
2. Results response s/b positive, negative, normal or abnormal or whatever it is.
3. Follow with an explanation.
4. Then, offer solutions or suggestions
5. Or if something you cannot disclose, then indicate to contact your doctor for further details.

I have to wait for over 45 minutes before the doctor can see me. Gave her all my test result and she just flip through. Left without any prescription or recommendation for the issue I have with my kidney, prediabetes and lung. Intermountain has my health record from another doctor who prescribed Farxiga for my kidney. I am not going back, she is my 5th doctors since I moved here 3 years ago. It is very difficult to find a good provider

I am extremely disappointed on this doctor for practicing unethical. We visited the place and wait 2 hours, according to the stuff they told us she is always behind her schedule. I was disappointed but continued with hope. She came and she will not even site down to talk. She put the most important medication out of my medication list, I have been taking it for 10 years. After week of not taking it I start having problems. She is the most uncaring, unethical, human I have ever seen. Shame on you.

I love everything about my healthcare. I think that Dr Chinta is wonderful. She addresses all my concerns. I find her to be really kind and willing to listen. It took me 3 different doctors to find her. I have only been in Las Vegas for 5 years.
My question is about healthcare in general. Why aren’t the doctors doing physicals anymore? They do everything by bloodwork only. When I lived other places the primary physician did breathing exercises, balance evaluation, checking ears, nose and throat, reflex reactions, etc. Is this not the standard anymore?

While not atypical for doctors in Las Vegas, the organization ignored requests for more specific directions on her prescription to allow her group home to provide medication requiring an in person follow up visit just to get this corrected. Seems like a scam to bilk money from Medicaid.

1st visit w/ Dr. Chinta, she was brilliant and knows her craft. She is quick to recognize what you might need from your doctors visit. She maybe in a hurry but that’s because I think they’re short of doctors. But she listens and could be more attentive if the doctor patient ratio would have been reasonable, I should say. 2nd visit 4/17: Dr Chinta is attentive and very nice to talk to. She listened to my narration and was not in a hurry like most would say. She even conducted a video call with me after my visit to explain and update me on my lab results, the plan of action to remedy the situation, and she was like a friend who listens to your story and what you might need help with. My experience is the opposite of how people rated her in the reviews that you find online.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. China Suneetha and was extremely disappointed with the level of care I received. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that she was either disinterested or simply did not want to be there. As I tried to explain the ongoing medical issues stemming from an accident, she continuously interrupted me with unrelated questions, making it difficult to express my concerns.

When I finally finished explaining my symptoms, she looked at me with a straight face and dismissively asked, "What do you want me to do?" in a tone that was both condescending and unprofessional. If I had the medical knowledge to determine my own treatment, I wouldn’t be seeking a doctor’s expertise in the first place. Instead of providing guidance, she repeatedly insisted that I change my primary care provider or go see him—even though my PCP is also a provider with Intermountain Health and was simply unavailable at the time. Before I left, she made it clear that if I didn’t switch providers, I would not be able to receive care in the future.

After receiving my X-ray referral, it became apparent that Dr. Suneetha either wasn’t listening to me or simply didn’t care. I had to call back during the weekend to get that corrected, which I'm sure shes not in office and prolongs my health issues. It felt as though she was more interested in ending the appointment than actually addressing my medical needs, as she quickly referred me to orthopedics without much concern.

This experience is exactly why I try to avoid Intermountain Health whenever possible. A doctor should treat their patients with respect, empathy, and professionalism—none of which were demonstrated during this visit. Dr. Suneetha was rude, dismissive, and lacked the basic courtesy that any patient deserves. No one should feel belittled or disregarded when seeking medical care, and I sincerely hope that Intermountain Health takes patient concerns more seriously in the future. I'd give this experience a 0.

This would be my second visit to Dr. Chinta. During my previous two visits, I felt that the appointments were rushed. I typically wait 30-40 minutes, but the sessions are usually concluded within 10 minutes. Dr. Chinta does not take the time to engage in a thorough discussion about my health or delve deeply into my concerns. Instead, she asks a few questions and then prescribes medication based on those inquiries. I do not feel that she has a genuine interest in her patients. However, I am not aware of the experiences of other patients. This is simply my personal perspective.

First and foremost I was from California and my Doctor Gummadapu was my Health Care doctor and I’m going to miss her she was the best at what she knew as my health care provider. I’ve been in Las Vegas the past 5 yrs but I was going back and forth to see her the last 4 yrs. I needed a Doctor so I was connected to Dr. Chinta through my Health Care Network. At First I thought I didn’t have a connection from her to be the Caregiver over my Health, but after she talked and showed she had interest in taking care of my needs and taking care of my Health, I’m going to trust and hope we can have a connection for the rest of my life. I REALLY like Dr. Chinta, normally so would normally give 4-5 stars. Today, this is not about Dr. Chinta, this is about how hard it is to get a human on the phone. I called because I need to see my Dr. to get a referral. I was put on hold for about 15 minutes. Then I was told that if I was already an established patient, I needed to call a different number. So I called the other number, was on hold for another 10-15 minutes. A voice came on the line and said that they were having problems & to call back later…..What?

came in for severe stomach issues and dr chinta basically told me i was too fat and needed to lose weight (i was 178) and to come back in 6 months, came back 30 pounds lighter, said im still getting sick really bad and the medication she gave me doesnt work and all she said was to keep taking the medication and to come see her again in 6 months. wouldnt talk to me for more than 5 minutes and cut me off every time i tried to say something. huge waste of my time. she clearly doesnt care for anyones well being.

The doctor and nurses were great! The female receptionist was very rude. I was 6 minutes late . I called ahead to let them know and was told I had 15 minutes before my appointment was missed. After the receptionist was finished with her phone call i was still only 7 minutes late . The first thing out of her mouth was your late you would you like to reschedule? While I was explaining everything to her she said you are only allowed 10 min. And when I said it hasn’t even been ten min. She waited a minute then the looked at the computer and said now it’s ten minutes . Her attitude was awful . I do apologize for being late but wow. Anyways I said I’d wait till the end of the day. So I truly appreciate taking my client there she is a 95-year-old lady with dementia. It's not always easy to deal with someone that is constantly confused and forgets. she doesn't like getting her blood drawn but the medical assistant do a phenomenal job at drawing the blood and they work with me to get it done, their professional they're quick and they're loving and kind and I truly appreciate that.It's a joy to bring her to intermountain health because when you're dealing with someone with dementia you need individuals who are patient and understanding and that is what I get even from her doctor so I would definitely encourage anyone that has an elderly parent or client or friend take them to intermountain health they really do cater to the elderly and I appreciate that.
