Patient of 16 years. Front desk employee Sherri was rude & unprofessional! Stern & dismissive tone was unnecessary! A link was sent to me via text & was not working, having problems with my phone. I asked if I could just sign the form there. She said NO, they are paperless & also informed me I had to pay with link. I asked her what do you do if a patient does not have a phone? She replied “everyone owns a phone,” and was not willing to work with me. The other employee offered to take my credit card and process, she then told her you can’t do that! At that point I asked to speak to the manager. There should be a reasonable alternative & the patient should be treated with patience & respect!

If you are anything like me and hate going to the dentist because the visits are usually unpleasant then read this review. From the time I walked in Sharon was very nice and welcoming, then going back with Raylynn absolutely amazing! She made you feel like you're apart of her family and she was gonna make sure you are well taken care of which is what she done. Whoever hired did an amazing job, they for sure make you feel as a customer they care and they are here for you! Dentist Red was also spectacular. Also makes you feel very comfortable and welcomed which makes going to the dentist a lot better! Im super grateful that my manager recommend this office, being kinda new to vegas and not knowing I would strongly recommend this office! They are also very knowledgeable, they give you some gems along the to better take care your mouth! Thank you all!

Completely and out. When in person before appointment to turn in all insurance work was sent this long complicated paperwork to fill out completely then called and said oh your insurance doesn’t work. Like they didn’t already have a week to figure that out before they sent me a huge packet of paper to fill out, it’s a waste of my time completely rude and I would never recommend them to anybody.

Well after repeated requests I am ready to give a review now that I have a completed process ( crown replacement and a bridge).

I was impressed with the thoroughness of everything including the work by Dr Redlinger and his dental assistants. The crown fits very comfortably and though the bridge took many months due to gum issues I had it was finally finished today and feels great and looks fine.

The entire staff at Sunset Dental seems competent, efficient and friendly. Wait times are very short.

Since this is a complete review of the practice I’ll add the aspects I’m less happy with. The excessive legal documentation you have to sign off on and being requested to pay before work is done.

But all in all I would highly recommend Sunset Dental

Personally, I think that the receptionists are extremely rude. In my 3-4 years of going to them, the receptionists just never seem to be in a good mood, every single time I call. And it's extremely off putting.

They also gave me an ill fitting mouth guard for my bruxism that caused an indentation in my front teeth because it wasn't properly fitted. When I called a year or so later after I noticed, the receptionist asked me why I waited so long – pretty much insinuating that it was my fault. I thought that was wild.

Just weird and rude all around. Seems like they don't have the desire to build rapport or a positive long term relationship with the patients, in my experience.

First off, let me say I’m one of those who has that inherent fear of dentists and is always hesitant about seeing one. While at the airport waiting to fly out to visit family for Christmas I broke a molar while eating breakfast. Needless to say, it wasn’t the most pleasant Christmas I had and trying to find a dentist I could visit once I returned home was daunting because of the holidays but thankfully I managed to finally get an appointment with Sunset Dental.
I was seen by Dr. Redlinger and was greatly taken care of by him and his staff. They worked with me to take care of my broken tooth and while root canals are no one’s definition of fun, they made sure that I was comfortable and to let them know if I was feeling any pain or needed a break.
Overall I am happy to find this office and look forward to going to Dr. Redlinger and have him and his staff take care of my dental needs.

I came in for an emergency pain treatment, and was very pleased. I sheepishly explained that I hadn't been in for an appointment in several years, but there was no judgement. The dentist recommended I take anti-biotics for an infection rather than just ripping into the tooth first. I obviously have some work to be done with cleanings and gum treatments due to my long period between appointments, but there was never any pressure or ominous warnings that I had to do it now "or else."

They charged me a fee to use my HSA card which they are not suppose to. The HSA is pre taxed funds that are used to pay for health related services. It is the same as a debit card. No fees should be added to use a debit card or a HSA card in the state of Nevada. They just started to charge this fee about 4 weeks ago. I cancelled the rest of my appointments and will look for a new dentist. I've been going here for the last 7 years. Also this fee will not show up on your account ledger. It's as if they charge you the fee and just pocket that money with no paper trail or trace.

I visited Sunset Dental today for a cleaning and had an exceptional experience. The hygienist who worked on my teeth was truly amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and did an outstanding job. My teeth feel cleaner than they have in a long time and I could instantly feel the difference.

Beyond the quality of her work, she had such a positive, warm spirit. We had great conversation throughout the appointment and she was well informed on so many different topics. As an African-American woman, it meant a lot to be cared for by someone who looked like me and carried herself with such professionalism, kindness, and confidence.

Her energy was welcoming, her attitude was uplifting, and she made the entire experience comfortable from start to finish. I genuinely hope she is still there when I return for my next cleaning in six months. If I could give her 100 stars, I absolutely would. Sunset Dental is lucky to have her.

As an epileptic, I need some serious work done. Between seizures and the meds that I used to take that ruined my gums, my teeth are not something I'm proud of. Dr. Rana and her staff did everything to make me as comfortable as I could be, even providing me with a neck pillow, as my neck was unbelievably stiff due to how I'd slept, the night before. I came in for my Yearly check up and teeth cleaning. Ashlee was the best! She took my x-rays and I have a little mouth so she was really gentle and did a great job. Super friendly, Very knowledgeable, and she gave me some tips about some toothbrushes that would be really good for me. She was so easy to talk to, and I can tell that she was really interested in my well-being. Doc gave me a clean bill of health, which was definitely a plus.

Great with procedures, full details , friendly and prompt. Reasonable prices as inflation effects us all and help with any financial needs above insurance and offers to assist those with out insurance. Always on top of your needs and best for you . Receptionist is really nice! Went in yesterday for the 2nd half of my deep cleaning and it went well. The lady that did my cleaning was really nice and informative. She didn’t mind my many questions and said she encourages questions. All in all I love it there. Friendly staff, clean establishment and fair pricing.

Honestly I would like to give this place 10 stars. They are really friendly. Dr. Rana is one of the best doctors. I never felt any pain and it was as if nothing had happened. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a plan that really helps in meeting your needs. Don't hesitate to go.

I received excellent service from the receptionist, the dental hygienist, and the Dentist. I still left the office feeling a little disappointed .This was my second cleaning within in a year and each time I ask for a toothbrush and some dental floss at the end of my visit they never have these practical items. I think they are too comfortable with not providing something that 99 percent of dental offices gladly provide.
