Admin needs an overhaul. Place is unable to call me back after two days of trying to get in touch about a time sensitive matter. Not only that but they are creating the unnecessary extra steps.

I left a machine message 1st day, and 2nd left with the front desk and yet nothing. That was after being transferred several times and put on hold.

How hard is it to release medical records when requested? Waiver has been signed. No one is asking you to fill anything out, (i know you would want money for that), you are being asked to release my records since I've been at your practice. No one is asking a dr. to do anything. Just for admin staff to do their job, It is not hard. Just like lf another dr called over and requested them for continuity of care.

Edit: this place is no good. Dont waste time. I am finding a new primary, and this will delay my spine surgery due to lack of compassion, organization, and accountability.

Even my surgeon called them and they remain unresponsive to a specialist they sent me to and began the pre-op clearance with. They don't act like they understand one of the responsibilities is to aid in coordination of care, and thats a problem. Also never leave a VM on the machine, they will not respond to those. You got to call until you get a person or you will wait days and even weeks for a call back that isnt coming. I'd rather not have to ride admin staff to do their jobs. It became clear when I see my mom has spoke to her primary office 6 or 7 times since I spoke to someone at mine directly even 1x (not just leaving a message for karen) that this place has some work to do.

I dont know or care what happened in the office this last month, its affecting patient care well beyond acceptable limits. Delayed orders and referrals have cost me more time in high level pain.

Also get someone who wants to answer the phone instead of playing games with patients calling. Whoever that person is who pretends to put you on hold only to hand you off to another person or hang up on "accident" is unprofessional . Its horrible it takes 3x to ever reach anyone if you can at all.

I am so incredibly dissatisfied with the service at SageBrush Medical Center. I cannot speak on the providers because I’ve only had to deal with the office staff. My husband was ordered a STAT MRI (you would think that would be somewhat urgent, right?) I called to schedule the MRI and was informed by the diagnostic facility that it would require a prior authorization. I called SageBrush to inform them and I swear they only answer ONCE every 40 times you call. I have a lot of patience for medical offices since I used to work as a workers comp case manager. But wow, I’ve never experienced such lack of response. When I did get someone on the phone, they’d say they would check on it or tell the MA and give me a call back. It’s now the next day and still am having difficulty getting ahold of them. I have called all day long. My husband’s MRI was scheduled only because I advocated and asked the imaging facility to contact the insurance for the authorization that the SageBrush office said they sent over. I am so frustrated because it shouldn’t be this hard. If I struggled as someone who knows their way around these kinds of things, I can’t imagine someone having to figure it out themselves. If you got this far in my review, find another doctors office!

Used to love this place until the staff stopped caring about their clients. My husband went into a seizure and the ER said that he needed to be seen by neurologist as soon as possible. I reached out to them for a referral and there was no urgency. They didnt pick up my calls and kept transferring me to somewhere else that hung up on me. I definitely reported them. Hopefully, they get it together and do a better job for future clients.

I decided to switch primary care physicians after my experience with this office. During my first initial visit, I was told certain questions would need to wait until my annual appointment & i could only address 3 concerns of mine. Which now makes sense because she wants you to come back to charge you more money. She also sent me to Quest Diagnostics for bloodwork.

What confused me most was that during the annual visit, the doctor brought up and discussed the bloodwork results that the office itself ordered. Naturally, I responded and engaged in the conversation since it was being discussed during the appointment. I also asked one brief question about whether my insurance might cover a GLP-1 medication, and later found out I was charged additionally for that one question. This appointment ended up costing more than my original visit!!

I did not expect to be charged extra for discussing bloodwork that the office ordered and introduced during the visit. My issue is not necessarily being billed, but the lack of transparency beforehand.

Overall, the experience felt more transactional than patient-centered, which is why I chose to continue my care elsewhere.

First of all, let me say that Dr. Concepcion is great — this review isn’t about him. What’s disappointing is everything else.

I’m extremely careful about my medical costs. I work hard, I make sure my doctors are in‑network, and I only go once a year for my annual physical, which is supposed to be covered at 100%. Apparently, what I didn’t know is that if the doctor asks “How’s everything going?” and you answer in the “wrong” way, your annual wellness visit instantly turns into a billed office visit.
No one explained that. Not during the appointment, not after, and definitely not when I tried calling the office several times because no one picks up the phone or calls back. Very disappointing, just be aware of your visit and What they’re billing your insurance for. Most insurance companies will cover a wellness annual check up once a year covered at 100%.

I went to PA Vi in November and had lab work done. Then in Dec we did more lab work. Now I am getting overdue bills from Quest for the lab work. I have called Medicare (my insurance) and they informed me they would pay the bills if the Sagebrush Medical Center resubmitted correctly. So I called since March 13th to get this corrected. I went to the office in person on March 30th. Finally I got Quest involved to get the office to correct. Quest faxed over the forms for the office to fill them out. I went to the office in person again April 6 (after numberous calls) and they said no forms from quest were recieved. So I got ahold of Quest and got the forms myself and gave them to the front desk at the office in person. They said Gloria would take care of and call me. So, no call and no corrections. I have tried Gloria numerous times and never has she answered. Her voicemail is full so I can't leave a message. Nobody will tell me where she if officed but it is not at the Henderson HR location. I really just need these forms resubmitted to Quest. Quest has been wonderful. I can't afford $1,000 in lab bills that my insurance will pay if this office just fills out and returns to Quest. Its been just a few days less than one month.

I showed up ready for my appointment today with my insurance card, business card, and credit card—everything needed to confirm who I am—and was still turned away over not having my physical ID on me.

Now I’m being pushed out another month and a half, which honestly feels unreasonable considering I was already there and prepared to be seen. It’s frustrating that something so minor is being prioritized over patient care.

I respect policies, but situations like this make it feel like the system is working against patients instead of for them. I’d really appreciate some flexibility or a sooner option, because being delayed this long for something preventable doesn’t sit right.

Absolutely terrible staff. Often don't answer any phones, will tell you they're going to get back to you on things and never do, even after multiple calls over multiple weeks, and they refer you to places that don't accept your insurance, then take forever to refer you to a new place, all while being in urgent need of that referral. Absolutely ridiculous. Then, maybe 6 months later, I had to go back to get another referral and some lab work. It took 6 days of calling them before they finally went "we'll send the referral and lab work right after this phone call." Why did I have to call so many times to get those necessary things sent to me? Any normal doctor's office will have that sent to you by the end of the day and not force you to hound them for 6 days (or 3 weeks the previous time) before sending you what you desperately need. Time to find a new doctor's office. Better hope they don't find anything serious in what they're checking, 1 week later than they should've...

I haven't had a primary in years, but needed one on a whim, due to health issues. so my sister recommended this office. I'm beyond happy that she did. The Drs and staff have been so accommodating. I was a patient at this facility, until today. My mother and I both have compromised health issues. My mother went to her doctor and I went to mine on the same day. Her doctor did labs to identify the infection, mine did not. Her doctor gave her an antibiotic used for virus infection, mine did not. Her doctor called the next day to confirm she had the right meds as the results of the lab came back, mine did not. The results of the labs came back as hemophilius influenza. I called my doctor back with the results and all he said was go to urgent care. When I asked to just have the correct antibiotic sent in to the pharmacy, I was told to go to urgent care and if I didn't like it to find a new doctor. I will be finding a new doctor. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I would not recommend going to this facility, not because of the doctor, but because the staff is not responsive. Our health and finances are essential; if both are affected in my life, I don't want to be a part of it. Please answer the phone and respond to our health Insurance. A long, long, long overdue review. I wouldn’t be writing this since it was several years ago and they now have different providers and I’m sure it’s all have been improved. However, the Primary that I saw is still in this facility.

A few back, I reach out since they were in network with my then medical insurance. I was told by the person who answered the phone that The doctor that I wanted to see (she is no longer in this practice) was on leave and they would provide me with another doctor in the facility. I was given an appointment with Joseph Lau.

Once I got called in, the facility was VERY out to date. The weight scale was very old. Next to it was a EKG machine that was soo old, that it look something with the likes of Fisher Price toy vibe. This is where I stated to feel that I wasn’t going to get the proper care. When I entered the room where I would be seen, the room looked out to date as well. The room furniture looked as they got it second hand or they got it from an old doctors office that was going out of business or was donated to them.Then the MA came in. The MA made be fill very uncomfortable. His appearance did not give me of a medical professional. After he took my vitals I finally got to see Lau. To make it short, he was going to give me referrals with a STAT importance and rush. He told that he would see me in a few weeks.
Once I left the room, the MA mention earlier informed me that he wasn’t near a computer (there was a row of MA’s and back office staff all sitting in a row. There was no computer in that room or in that large room.) and that he would email all the information to me shortly. He never did. Come to find out that they never sent out the referrals, which I had a feeling that they wouldn’t. I never called back to schedule a follow up appointment.
A few weeks later, I got a bill from them. It was for the visit with Lau. It looks that Lau was not in network in my insurance and the front desk made the mistake in scheduling me with Lau.
I was able to find a better primary care and would never have to visit this place ever again.

As much as I want to keep my PCP Daniel Acierto, I’m really starting to doubt this practice’s ability to keep their patients updated on our prescriptions they prescribed. I’ve been calling all week for my prescription to be updated and even though they say it is, apparently it’s not. I haven’t received a call back from the doctor and when I check my prescription at the pharmacy, it shows there has been 2 attempts to get it updated. How can I pick up and start a prescription if it’s corrected. This is frustrating. I’ve never in my life had to deal with something like this. This place is giving me extreme anxiety. I hope they see this and correct it ASAP.

My insurance had changed and I need a new Primary Care Provider. First time ever to their office.
Their office appears to be very well coordinated, organized and well staffed. They amazed me. That is why I am writing this.
I needed an appointment and I got one on the same week. Usually, for other offices, I get an appointment after 2-3 weeks.
When I left a message with their operator, an office personnel gave me a response on the same day. It was very refreshing! Usually for other offices, I leave a message on their answering machine and I usually get a call-back in 3-4 days.
I got my check-up, got my referrals and I went home. The visit was short and convenient. I really appreciate that. Thank You.

“I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. (Miguel) She lacked compassion and did not prioritize patient care. Despite my complaints of severe rheumatoid pain in my hands, she refused to prescribe even basic pain relief like Tylenol. When I expressed my concerns, she was dismissive and unwilling to listen. Additionally, after informing her that Voltaren had not been effective for me, she still insisted I continue using it. Her unwillingness to consider alternative treatments or acknowledge patient concerns raises serious doubts about her approach to care. I advise others to proceed with caution when considering her services.”
A professional and legal evaluation of her conduct WITH ME may be considered to ensure compliance with ethical and medical standards. Thankful for SBM… Did not have an appointment last Friday. After speaking with staff they got my husband in for an appointment late afternoon. Respectful & first class treatment by staff and Patel. We exchanged information & was given the time for my husband & I to explain his medical needs. They did likewise. She prescribed medication and ordered X-ray. On Saturday, her day off Patel called my husband and asked how he was doing as she had real concerns about his health. Appreciate you!

The office is good enough if your health problems are relatively simple. If they are not, they will shrug and send you on your way. My husband’s heart was 95% blocked. Thankfully, I fought with his next doctor for an angiogram they did not want to schedule, and it saved his life. Good luck out there people. Healthcare in Las Vegas is rough. Get yourself an advocate that understands medicine and is not afraid to stand up to overworked doctors and callous insurance providers.

Worst doctor ever. They do not follow up with their patients, I have been trying to schedule a CT scan with Southwest medical for 2 weeks. I literally have had to be on hold for 12 hours between Sagebrush medical and Southwest Medical.
They don’t know how to submit in portals. I am infuriated with Sage brush and their staff who cannot help or don’t try to help. They DO NOT CARE.

Do not go to this company. Stay as far away as possible.

Daniel at Sagebrush has been my family's PCP for only a few months & there is sadly nothing good I can say about the experience.

My 18 yr old son & I went for our initial appointments in October. We both filled out the standard intake forms, saw Daniel & had brief introductory conversations & were referred for bloodwork. Pretty standard. When I received our explanation of benefits from the insurance, I checked it out. The insurance for both my son & me had been billed for the initial new patient & annual wellness visit. However, the provider had also billed an annual depression check, an annual alcohol check & an intensive behavior check at an additional $136 to our insurance. I called the office to ask what those items were & the woman I spoke to had no idea. She said she would check with her supervisor & let me know. When I didn't hear back by the following week, I called again & left a message. I finally spoke to someone & advised I was concerned our insurance had been billed for something that had not occurred. She said she would check into it. When I finally spoke with her again, she told me the billing was because the intake forms, the standard ones filled out at every doctor's office, had questions about if a patient drank, how much & how often & also whether they were experiencing depression or behavior issues. I explained neither my son, nor I, had those issues or had any such discussions with Daniel but she said, based on questions in the form, which were not even discussed in the appointment, Daniel still itemizes & bills for those things. This makes absolutely no sense & is something I've never seen from any doctor. I considered beginning the search for a new PCP again as this felt like a shady practice but based on the good Google reviews, I decided we should move forward with Daniel.

Over Christmas, I got Covid. By the 3rd week, I was still not feeling well so I made an appointment. When I was checked in, I was told that they were going to be collecting $100 a visit for my deductible until they reached $1000. They were doing so without asking if our family may have met the deductible already, before knowing if we has any other ongoing regular treatment, & before we even knew if I would need a follow up visit. Again, this is something I've never seen done at another medical provider of any kind. The idea of collecting on the entire insurance deductible at their office when there is no way of knowing if they will be the only provider we see before the deductible is met is absurd.

At the appointment, I was referred for a chest x-ray. I arrived at the radiologist & was told the referral from Sagebrush could not be accepted. Instead of having the doctor's name & signature, it had a rubber stamp with "Sagebrush Medical" on it. I called the office & was told they would correct it & fax over the corrected one. They notified me later it had been done. 2 days later I went back to the radiologist & they did not have any referral from Sagebrush. The radiologist gave me a fax number & said I could call Sagebrush & have it faxed right to their front desk. I called Sagebrush & the woman I spoke to said she would send it. About 10 minutes later, the radiologist received the same, original rubber stamped referral that is invalid. I called back AGAIN & was told the correct, signed referral would be sent. I waited for over 45 minutes & a valid referral was never sent. I gave up. I don't have the patience to make any more trips to the radiologist or any more calls to this useless office.

I cannot trust Sagebrush not to bill my insurance for work that has not been performed, not to bill me up front for appointments not yet made, or to accurately refer me for tests at any outside agencies. Basically, I cannot trust them to act as a competent & honest physician's office. It sounds like other people have had great experiences here but I can't see how. I am looking for a new, competent PCP & medical office.

Is a small and intimate office. I was at the Warm Springs location. Which was nice, compared to other chain facilities. Personable staff too. I saw a D.O. which I value, to gain a more whole body approach to my health.

Dr. J Concepcion is awesome and all of the staff are really kind. But beware if you have HMO, they do not handle referrals well. It took months to get my referrals, which is frustrating because specialists are already booked out months in advance. All that wait just to find out that, for one of them, I was referred to a cancer center instead of a gastroenterologist. I gave up on trying to fix it because it was the end of the year and I was changing insurance due to my frustration with the process (unfortunately this issue is not unique to this office but applies to many in southern NV). I tried to be patient and they were kind enough to apologize but at the end of the day, between long waits with painful symptoms - managing my health anxiety - and spending hours playing messenger between this office and specialists, my experience hasn't been great.

I am deeply disturbed by the negligence I experienced at Sagebrush Medical Center Henderson. A critical blood test result, indicating a life-threatening condition, was inexplicably delayed for over a week. This egregious oversight could have had catastrophic consequences. It's disheartening to think that other patients may not be as fortunate and could suffer severe harm due to such reckless disregard for patient well-being.

Worst office staff I have ever dealt with! They cannot even get a referral to another doctor in a timely manner if at all. I have been asking over and over for weeks for a referral that still has not been sent. Do not go here if you need anything that requires seeing a specialist. You will be needlessly delayed. Things have really gone down hill at the W.Horizon Ridge location... Do yourself a favor and find another PCP.. I received a mammogram in JULY, I've been trying to get results,it's now OCTOBER. I finally got an appointment. The appointment time has been change 3 times in one day. I was eventually checked in over the phone by a nurse for a virtual visit. I received a call back stating that they do not know who checked me in but they are going to have to reschedule. I'm over Sagebrush. They are only good for asking for medicine without having to go into the office. Anything else you can forget it. Lots of "child's play" going on in the office.

I have been going to Sagebrush Medical Center for about 7 years now since I moved from NY. Dr. Pan and his providers are all very knowledgeable. I have been seeing Joshua lately which is one of Dr. Pan’s other providers and what can I say he is wonderful! Joshua is down to earth, has a wonderful bedside manner, attentive, caring, and knowledgeable in his profession.I can’t forget his medical assistant Bianca, she is sweet, caring, and what can I say, great at what she does!
