New patient. From the begging, front desk girls are very nice and welcoming. All staff is friendly, professional and attentive. Did not feel rushed. My Provider Lizet was very thorough and took the time to listen and discuss my medical needs. Plus she is very nice and easy to talk with.
I also really liked being able to complete labs in house and with no waiting time. Several times during my appointment staff offered water and asked if I needed anything. The facility is clean and the atmosphere is positive. Plus I received a courtesy call the next day just to follow-up. I was very happy with my first visit and would highly recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience with The Vice Practice. Despite confirming my costs ahead of time with both the office and my insurance, I was asked for a $250 copay upon arrival--significantly higher than quoted. I chose to decline the appointment due to this discrepancy. I'm super glad I did as what I see playing out on negative reviews are all similar or identical to what I experienced!

Subsequently, I was charged a $100 missed appointment fee, and my card was also charged for my spouse's fee without my authorization. When I raised concerns regarding the unauthorized charge and potential privacy issues, the office responded with irrelevant HIPAA documentation that didn't address the situation. I suggest keeping a close eye on your billing and insurance claims if you visit this office.

I am very happy that I found this place. Staff are amazing. I work with Lizet Ramos as my provider. She is great. She is very thorough and listens. There is no rushing to get through the appt ASAP. Basically this is a place that provides patient care the way it is supposed to be done. Thank you all for your passion and care. The ongoing back-and-forth communication with a patient/ previous patient in a public forum is deeply concerning and reflects a lack of professionalism. If this same time and energy were directed toward patient care, I’m sure that the office’s reviews and reported wait times would be more favorable.

According to my insurance records, this office is listed as my primary care provider. I have undergone blood work at this facility on multiple occasions, attended appointments with the provider, and received referrals to specialists. Based on these interactions, I was clearly established as a primary care patient. It is therefore disappointing to encounter either a lack of familiarity with my medical history or inaccurate representations of my status. Additionally, the claim that I was previously terminated as a patient is incorrect. I made the independent decision to seek care elsewhere and later chose to return. I also maintain documentation of all relevant interactions.

As previously stated, the emphasis appears to be more on financial matters than on patient care, which is both concerning and disheartening. I would strongly encourage the office to reassess its priorities and improve its level of professionalism, particularly in regard to staff members Annie and Gary.

Lastly, I would advise prospective patients to carefully consider their options before choosing this office. Based on this experience, including the handling of a necessary appointment reschedule due to a legitimate family emergency, the level of professionalism and patient care may not meet expectations.

I would agree with previous reviews suggesting that this practice appears to prioritize financial gain over patient care.

I recently needed to reschedule an appointment due to a family emergency, as my father was taken to the hospital. One member of the front office staff was initially understanding; however, when I spoke with Annie, I was told that my need to reschedule was an “inconvenience” and that the office had already accommodated me sufficiently. This was especially concerning given that there had never been an issue when the office had to reschedule my appointments in the past.

My interactions with Gary at the front desk were also unprofessional. On one occasion, he was rude during a phone conversation, which led me to end the call. Shortly afterward, I noticed a $175 charge being added to my account without clear explanation, which I found concerning. Additionally, he insisted that I pay for a $400 medication twice per month, stating that he was “basically paying for it at this point,” despite my consistent monthly payments. His tone and approach were inappropriate.

I was also criticized for emailing the office too frequently, even though my emails were limited to providing in-network providers for referrals that the office had issued. I was told the practice was understaffed and that it was my responsibility to find my own specialists. However, when I attempted to do so, this was met with further complaints.

I would like to note that the medical providers themselves were professional and helpful. One provider even offered to work with me when I was unable to afford my medication. Unfortunately, when I relayed this to the front desk, I was denied, and I was no longer scheduled with that provider.

While some members of the front office staff were kind and courteous, my experiences with Gary and Annie were consistently negative. There is a clear need for improvement in how patients are treated, particularly in demonstrating professionalism and empathy. Referring to a family emergency as an “inconvenience” is unacceptable.

Lastly, I have concerns regarding billing transparency. Patients are charged $400 for weight loss medication but are instead provided with B12 injections, which raises serious questions about the value and clarity of services.

Based on my experience, I would advise others to proceed with caution. 😊

This is my very first time giving reviews because I don’t do them at all. However moving to this doctor from my old one was definitely the right change. Looking for a new doctor I wanted someone who can communicate with me in detail without leaving any room for questions. Which is exactly what they did, they covered everything I would have had questions about. The doctors were very friendly and outgoing. Not to mention if you do have kids they are opening a daycare down below that opens early and closes late so if you’re in need I would definitely look into that here. Once again I don’t do reviews but I found everything I was looking for at this doctor so I had to leave one. :)

This is more of a shady business than a health care provider. After several visits I get the feeling they are very much after getting the most amount of money out of you as they possibly can.
At my first visit, they asked me to pay my co-pay and I gently advised them that I had already surpassed my $3,000 in-network out of pocket max for the year.
Nobody in the office had any idea what I was referring to and they acted like I was being a problem and refusing to pay.
They finally figured it out after a few phone calls.
A big money grab that they have going on is their “fee” of $25 for getting blood tests done in their office. This is outside of anything billed to insurance and it must be paid. At the same time, the assistants who take your blood are very inexperienced and have an unusually difficult time finding a vein. These people are not at the level of competence that I would prefer from someone in charge of my health.

*UPDATE*

I am well aware that I can choose another practice, which I finally did a few months ago and I am very happy with them. My only regret is not switching sooner and trying to give your office another chance. Big mistake.

My out of pocket max had been met on Feb 3rd of 2025 because having cancer is very expensive.
My appointment at your office was on May 20th. It had been far more than “a few days”.

I will say I’ve previously given this place a 5 star review. The providers themselves are fantastic and really care about you and want to help you. I’ve referred several people here based on my experience. However, I think they should really reconsider some of their office policies and how it comes off to patients. I called today to schedule an appointment to speak with my provider about weight loss medications. I explained to the person on the phone that I was previously getting my meds online, but now they are covered by my insurance so I wanted my PCP to prescribe them. The lady stated that I would still have to pay additional fees to be a part of their weight loss program. This feels very predatory in my opinion. If my insurance covers a drug that treats a condition, I shouldn’t have to pay anything more than my copay for my appointment and a copay for my medication. I declined to make the appointment and scheduled an appointment with a new provider elsewhere. I will also note that a few friends that I’ve sent here have felt pressured to write reviews while waiting for their care, which also put a bad taste in my mouth.

After going through a few doctors, my housemate found this one and I’m glad I finally switched. Big sell was a LGBTQ+ page on the site, and no one has made me feel like I could not share important information here. The staff have all been incredibly wonderful, welcoming and personable. Heard all my concerns and looking forward to establishing a better care routine for chronic issues.

Update Dec 2025: I’m still going here and love it. I feel like my primary Lizet Ramos is a rock star and has helped me get to great specialist care where I’ve needed it. I am addressed appropriately by the staff and everyone is very personable and welcoming.
Only snag is the change of suite in the building, as there isn’t a direct bathroom, it’s down the hall. Not a huge problem for me, but does change any sample collection convenience- out of their control w building tho.

I agree with prior comments. This place is such a scam. They are money hungry. $100 for not canceling an appt is wild. My appointment was for 11 the next day and I called at 11:03 the day before and they still charged me $100. This is not how you treat patients. 3 minutes is absurd. They will also not cancel future appointments if you didn’t pay for a previous one so they just keep adding more and more fees. I’ve never been to a place like this. Such a shame. I was truly shocked by my last visit. I will never be coming here again. I showed up at 9:34 for my 9:30 appointment and the doctor refused to see me because I was late. I can't control traffic and it was only 4 minutes. This is supposed to be a mental health specialist and dismissing me over 4 minutes is very unprofessional. Not only that, they claimed my insurance didn't cover my previous visits and that I now owe them $265!? The only reason I came here is because my insurance covered it. They never told me my insurance didn't cover it until after the appointments. Very unprofessional. But that's not all. They tried to reschedule my appointment for the next day at 10:30am as a virtual appointment. They tried called me at 9:30am for the appointment while I was busy. So I get dismissed for showing up 4 minutes late due to traffic but you can call me over an hour before my appointment and expect me to be available. Absolutely ridiculous. Be careful going here. My husband was a patient here with Dr. Visceral. After being injured at work and very sick, he unfortunately missed two appointments. The office charged him $50 for each missed visit, even though he didn’t have the energy to call at the time. When he returned, he signed a promissory note, hoping to pay off the balance despite not being able to work.

The account has already been sent to collections, and we’ve received notice from creditors. Even so, when I called today to explain his situation, Dr. Visceral refused to refill his essential psychiatric medication because of the balance owed. Anyone who understands mental health knows how dangerous it can be to suddenly stop taking prescribed medication—it’s not just unfair, it’s unsafe.

This experience shows me that this practice prioritizes money over patient well-being. If you look at their website, it seems more focused on self-promotion than on truly caring for patients and families. I would not recommend this office. Please consider another provider who puts patient health first.

I’ve been with this place for 9 months and my experience has been very disappointing, when I first arrived I was shown to a room and was told I would see my doctor shortly and I preceded to wait and hour and 20 minutes, and I left my room to ask what was happening and they told me the doctor was coming, but after I returned to my room I waited another 30 minutes, when my doctor finally arrived she apologized which I accepted because I wanted my prescription, but then throughout the months time and time again, the office kept making mistake after mistake and would always apologize but do nothing to make things better, they would never send me the documents I needed because the email on file never worked and I would have to intervene to get my lab orders, recently they ordered blood work, I got it done but then I found out they sent the wrong order so I had to get my blood drawn again, they always apologized and say they will do something, but they never do it, what was the last straw was when after a appointment the doctor said she would follow up with me, and me being skeptical because I know this offices track record made her confirm that she would follow up, a month goes by and she never responded so I called the front office and they told me they would get hold of her and call me back, I waited for 45 minutes and I called again and she told me that she would speak to me next appointment, but then I told her the doctor said that she would call me back, and after that she left again for 2 hours and she called me at the end of the day saying that the doctor would call me on Tuesday I waited all afternoon for her to just tell me she will contact me a later date, and guess what today passed and she never called me back, yes these people are nice but, they constantly would do something wrong and would lie to my face when they said they would do better, I’m going to a different doctors office and hopefully they are more trustworthy and competent.

I used to believe strongly in this clinic, but they have disappointed me time and time again that I felt it necessary to delete my old review and post a new one.

In the beginning, they were about helping people and the LGBT community, but they've definitely fallen off that path. Between the constant fees, the overcharging of simple paperwork, and the inability to fill my life-saving diabetes medications on time, I would waste your time with this place.

When they make mistakes, its never im sorry or accountability for their mistakes. They shift the blame on the patient and then come in during an appointment to talk down to you like youre a child.

Trans and need a top surgery letter for continuation of care? Be prepared to spend $150, even if youre on medicaid. Want a single piece of paper asking insurance to increase hours for care giving? $150. Anything they need to put their name on, don't worry, they'll charge you

Since living in Las Vegas, I had a hard time with finding a primary care doctor for myself. Other Offices i have experienced either have long wait time to schedule an appointment, staff not friendly, and just not a good vibe! My husband was the one to tell me about The Vice Practice. We both love coming here. As soon as we walk in the door we are greeted by name. Every staff is friendly and so sweet. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. This Office is a SCAM! Please people be aware, they are charging you for the services you have never done, and they will bill you and will forward your account to collections if you do not pay the bill that you were not suppose to get to begin with. They also delete bad reviews and keep the good ones to show that they are 5 star practice. They pay everyone to give them a 5 star reviews right on your appointment time. They will send you unexpected bills and when you call to ask what is the bill is for because you did not have any appointments they will not talk to you and be super rude from the reception to doctors husband who manages the office. There are so many good doctors out there with educated and friendly staff. They will bill your insurance and bill you on top of that again for the services you have not done. Oh yes also please make sure you DO NOT make an appointment with them, if you are late 1 second they will bill you as no show $100 , again DO Not miss an appointment but show up 1 second late, and they will still put you as no show no call. Please people stay away from this office. My wife was a patient here and this review is behalf of my wife. Thank God we found a great doctor, with no unexpected bills and great care. I wish i could give this office -0 stars.

TLDR: not a good fit, wouldn’t recommend if you are black, trans and struggling and looking for a safe place to be treated under HRT.

I scheduled an appointment and was unable to go through with it due to insurance issues. the financial advisor or manager whoever advised he would be willing to work with me but I declined. I called a second time a month or two later and set up an appointment for 1pm and unfortunately, was unable to make it. I called to reschedule for a later time or date (usually, this is where you’re told that you have the option to reschedule but there would be a wait time, or you could pay $100 to reschedule and get a different time.) and was told that I could come in at 2:00pm. Obviously when you’re rescheduling for a later time you should know there would be a wait but I didn’t consider a long wait and assumed that I would be seen under 45 mins.

So I showed up, and was told I had to switch my provider. due to me switching insurance types I had that left to do before I could be seen. (I was unaware of this. I don’t work in Insurance or Front Desk Administrative so no one told me this had to be done before I came to my appointment to be seen.) I was already short on time and so once I switched my provider, I asked how long the wait would be and the same financial manager guy with grey hair that was so helpful before, advised it would be an hour. he kind of threw the answer out so I assumed he was just giving a random timeframe. once Angel came back I asked her how long it would be (as she was more easy to work with and friendly) and she gave me the time frame ‘about an hour’ so I asked if she had any exact timeframes like 40-45 mins, and also how come no one told me that I had to switch providers before I showed up, and why do I have to pay $100 if I want to reschedule because I can’t wait due to no one telling me I would have to wait an hour or more when I called originally to reschedule?’ the man with the gray hair spoke up asking Angel about my insurance and asking about my original timeframe. I guess he thought I was getting an attitude or being aggressive or I don’t know, when I was simply asking a question. he then misgenders me, and not verbatim, tells me that because my insurance is what it is, and I changed my time, I can’t rush the provider and I have to wait. mind you I didn’t have any issues waiting I just asked a question and needed information. I felt disrespected, and belittled, and unfortunately it turned me off to ever wanting to step a foot here. I would rather be misgendered and deadnamed at a regular clinic than go somewhere that draws a smile on their face and try to paint a false narrative with negative stereotypes and disrespectful staff that are not trans friendly. i’m sure many others have/had different experiences but mine was unfortunately not the best since I first signed up. I waited months to come here just to have someone misgender me and practically spit in my face.

my suggestion? updated training. offer someone the option to reschedule with the $100 fee or reschedule with a wait time of one hour. and if someone is changing their provider, let them know what they need to do BEFORE coming in to their appointment instead of trying to rush people off the phone. and instead of trying to think u know everything and throw answers out at people, give them a chance to ask the question they need to ask and be respectful. and if you don’t know someone’s pronouns don’t be so quick to assign one. either ask or just use gender neutral pronouns.

Came here for the first time as I wanted to find a PCP that was local and I could see in person versus virtually. Was referred here and I am so happy I came! The staff is amazing from the minute you walk in! Everyone is welcoming and you feel like family! I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this medical office and believe they are a shady and scammy business.

It started with major scheduling issues as a new patient. I scheduled an appointment and received confirmation, only to later get a call saying I needed to reschedule because they overbooked. I played phone tag to get it rescheduled, got another confirmation, and then received yet another message a couple days later saying I needed to reschedule again. This level of disorganization is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional.

When I finally got in, I paid $205 for my first visit, expecting professional and reasonable care—but that was not the case.

After the visit, they wanted to charge me $144 just to get my bloodwork RESULTS, which I’ve never experienced at any other provider. As a pharmacist, I’m very familiar with healthcare operations, and asking patients to pay for their own results, rather than emailing them or using a portal, is absurd.

On top of that, I needed a pap smear, and they refused to combine the visit with my bloodwork follow-up, insisting I pay $144 for two separate visits.

Yes, I do understand that there are deductibles, but requiring me to come back on separate occasions to charge me more for these visits seemed unethical. The prices alone are also absurd. I have paid out-of-pocket visits for much less than this.

To make matters worse, they refused to prescribe a birth control I’ve been on for 10 years until I paid for my results. It felt like they were holding my care hostage to force me to pay extra fees.

This office runs like a shady business, prioritizing profits over patient care. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone looking for professional, patient-centered care.

Do not go here! Wrost process ever! I have to call every month for new prescription because the do not know how to write one. They accused me of filling a prescription in TX which is not true. Then they treat me like crap when I try to correct the situation. Worst front desk and the doctor will not listen to your side of the story. I have yet to be able to speak with her about the issue since it's started. My prescription is now going to be 2 weeks late at no fault of my own. We have blood work on the 24th, appointment on the 13th and refill due on the 1st. But no refill until seen by the provider. Don't go here if you want to save your sanity.

I’ve been coming to the Vice Practice since July. Since my first visit, I’ve felt very taken care of and listened to. All of my concerns have always been addressed and taken seriously. I’ve also never felt more physically “well.” I used to get sick every single month. Since coming to the Vice Practice and starting the medication/vitamin regimen they recommended, I haven’t been sick and feel better than ever. I should probably wait a few days to calm down before I write this, but I'm just so disappointed and frustrated. I work with a functional medicine provider out of state, but need someone local that is an md or np for labs and one prescription. I came to this practice because of the stellar reviews despite it being across town from me. It was totally worth it to find someone willing to work with me and my other healthcare provider. I was very upfront about what my needs were and Dr. Visceral was enthusiastic and fully on board. I was elated.

Fast forward to new lab work that I requested. I made my appt, met with the other provider in the office, I can't remember her name, she was very nice. My labs were drawn on 10/5/24 at LabCorp and by 11/14/24 I still had no results from the lab. So I called the practice to see if they had received them. I have an appt with my other provider on 11/15/24 and was very much expecting to be able to share those results. But No. The Vice Practice would not send my lab results to me because they had only received part of them. I was fine with them just sending what they had. They refused. I'm beyond frustrated that my personal health record is being held captive. It's my lab work from my own blood that I paid for. I do not understand the issue. So I'm leaving what I thought was an ideal arrangement and I have to start over again. I am fuming. Beware if this might be an issue for you. I would not recommend this practice.

So where to start as soon as you walk in the door you feel like you're at home! The staff is sweet attentive and just all around wonderful! I appreciate that everytime I come for an appt or call with an issue they are more than accommodating. If you're LGBTQ I 10000% recommend the vice practice. Even if you're not they're still just as good of a practice. Tameka is newer but there's not a time we've visited that she didn't have a smile on her face. Lizet is one of the provider's I see and she's never made me feel uncomfortable or unaccepted in any way. I would get this place negative stars if possible not only that I wait for over three hours and send over numerous pages of medical documents that are not even reviewed until my time of visit. I was lied to about the services that were offered and told that they could help me with my pain management after I've been displaced from the hurricanes however, the only thing that happened was I was charged $150 and no services happened. In fact they wanted to charge me another $150 for blood work. They offered to give me a script 7 day script to come in after when the blood work came back. all of this would've been fine. It could've been explained to me prior to my visit, but none none of this was I was told they would be able to help manage my pain and management since I've been displaced from the hurricane from Florida and now I feel like I've been robbed out of $150 for no reason and got no help. Additionally, they asked me to pay another $150 for blood work I don't need or want. Pretty terrible experience after you lost everything in a hurricane to be treated by a doctor like this

You can tell this is a lifestyle for them and not just a job. Their level of care is just phenomenal. It is very hard to express over a review how lucky and happy I am to have found this practice and how much they have exceeded my expectations in just the first visit. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. I had the worst experience here. First of all, I was charged a co-pay with my insurance because they decided not to verify my insurance . My insurance agent contacted them and tried to get it taken care of and we sat on the phone with them for 35 minutes on hold and no one came back. My agent actually got it taken care of after a week and stated that they should be reimbursing me the money. After waiting for two weeks on the reimbursement check to come , I inquired about it and I was told I had to wait an additional 30 days for them to mail it out. Then I was given a referral to have imaging done on my foot and the referral ended up being for the wrong foot. Mind you the NP examined my foot in the office. When I called about it they informed me that in order to get the referral corrected they would charge me an additional fee for another visit.(This is after they incorrectly charge me the first time) And that it was my fault that the NP wrote the referral for the wrong foot. They informed me that they recorded my doctors visit in the office and I told them the wrong foot although the doctor examined the visually swollen foot. I would give this facility zero stars. I actually work in a healthcare environment and the treatment I was given by this facility was not sufficient whatsoever.

This place is AMAZING!!! I am a 45 year old woman who has had 46 surgeries and have gone through many primary Drs because I could never find one that would listen to me. They would look at my history and age and make their decisions based on those two things and not my experiences. Dr. Visceral was very different! She, not only explained everything in depth she also took the time to listen and base her treatment decisions on the full picture that I gave her!! I can’t say enough about how different her approach has been. For the first time in many years I have hope of getting the right tests and referrals and finally getting answers about my health problems. Now, I've been on a mission to "interview" a new PCP for myself and family, and I believe we have found a WINNER!
Lizet Ramos has by far displayed exemplary bedside manners and is completely thorough with wanting to obtain full panels on her own accord without me having to request it myself from actually reading the paperwork that everyone fills out at the time of checking in at the appointment.
I've always had to request full blood panels, advocating for myself (advocate for yourself, people!) and Lizet hit that mark right away, which I am grateful for!
I'll provide updates as we go along, if needed. :)

Dr. Ramos is amazing. As someone who is LGBT she made me feel extremely comfortable, her knowledge and her attitude are superb. Her thoroughness was beyond anything I could ask for, she listened and gave the perfect feedback. I will definitely be returning.

Similar to the reviews before me.. My INITIAL visit was wonderful! Unfortunately, my follow-ups with Dr. Viceral kept getting cancelled/rescheduled. I was accused of cancelling an appointment (After they already rescheduled the same appointment twice 🤯) I also had no other option but to see a new provider.

Lizet is one of the friendliest, most thorough, and knowledgeable providers I’ve met. She listened to all my concerns and showed empathy. I experienced insurance issues with my last PCP so Lizet and the office staff were very understanding in working with me to make sure the same issues don’t arise again which I really appreciated.

For Dra. Cristina Viceral, its a big factor that she’s a filipino coz I can express my concerns in tagalog. She’s knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She really has patient concern. I think I really found my PCP

Came to Vice with problems on my hormones, Dr. Cristina Viceral was extremely knowledgeable and explained my labs to me with a plan to balance out my levels. She took the time to answer my questions and discuss how everything worked. I’m so happy I found this clinic since moving out here and will be returning to continue working on my health and getting back to “normal” :)
