Lana and her team are excellent to work with. I have both of my kids with different therapists for speech and they look forward to it every week. There couldn't be a better group of people from the second you walk in the door to the time you leave. They are easy to schedule with, great to work with insurance, and so compassionate with the kiddos. Couldn't recommend more!

My son has improved so much over the course of a few months at tick talk therapy! Lana and Taylor have given me the skills to help him with his latch, starting solids, and reach his milestones at home. I’m so grateful!

TickTalk has been an absolute life saver for my baby and his eating journey. Lana is the kindest person and really makes it her mission to love your babies as much as you do - and help them through every obstacle. I would recommend 1000x!!

Beware of owner: You can review my husbands review previously today and the owners response. Lana is claiming that my daughters claims were denied when her own office says otherwise. We've also confirmed with ChampVA that she was not denied. Below is a summary of our email communications.
Lana claimed they have not gotten paid since submitting claims 5/9. ChampVA supposedly requesting items TTT sent. Amy was informed today by ChampVA that they are barely starting to open mail from April - THIS IS NOT A DENIAL.
Furthermore, Amy stated on more than one occasion, ChampVA received the claims, but they have not processed them. Also referencing their processing for April 2025. Also from Amy via voicemail: "they are not denying services. It's just that they take a really long time to even receive our claims when we send them."
It wasn't until we confronted the situation that she is now stating that her claims were denied, which is not true.
Instead of contacting us attempting to have us help communicate with ChampVA or discuss any kind of potential options with us, she gave us an ultimatum to private pay or leave (and come back later) - despite knowing they'll get paid. She has no care for the therapy of children with special needs.
If I could, i would publish all of our email correspondence.
Moreover, they pass around kids from therapist to therapist for weeks without any regularity for weeks. I went with it because my daughter liked most of them. Recently, both of my daughters therapists quit at the same time. I wonder why...

We took our child there for an evaluation. They didn't send any follow-up to the evaluation or have any sort of a meeting to discuss treatment plans. We would call the office asking for more information but the front desk said they didn't know anything about treatment and we would have to talk to the therapists about it. So our child got scheduled for her first day of treatment. We showed up and the therapist was going to just take our child back. I said I had questions because nothing had been communicated with us, so I got taken back and the therapist wasn't familiar with my daughter's case at all. She had to basically read the report from the evaluation to me verbatim using phrases like, "I guess she. . ." and "It looks like she. . ." So the therapist obviously hadn't reviewed the case ahead of time which makes me question what she was going to actually do with our daughter that session? Then after reviewing the notes from the evaluation the therapist said, "Well, there's only 7 minutes left in this session, so do you want me to do anything with your daughter?"
So I wasted $60 on that session because Tick Talk had never reviewed our daughter's case before and when I had questions about the case they counted that as her entire session. Not to mention that money probably would have been wasted anyways because the therapist never reviewed her case ahead of the first session. I can only imagine how ineffective the treatment would have been and I'm glad I didn't end up wasting thousands of dollars and months of time at this place.
As a rebuttal to the owner's response to my review, she did send all the information... AFTER the terrible session with my kid, and only AFTER I brought up my concerns.

Love Lana!
My two sons were receiving therapy with Lana, and they absolutely loved her!
The staff was always kind, patient, friendly, and incredibly supportive. The environment was clean, comfortable, and welcoming every time we visited.
We only had to leave because they no longer accept our new insurance. If that ever changes, we’ll be switching back in a heartbeat!

Tick Talk Therapy is incredible and I cannot recommend this place enough! After having three babies with tongue and lip ties, I know the value of having proper feeding therapy, OT and body work done in order to assure the best possible outcome. Lana and her staff are nothing short of professional, knowledgeable, and caring. You can tell that they all are passionate about what they do. My last two children have been under her care and I'm so impressed at the difference it has made with breastfeeding and just their overall wellness. I will forever be grateful! ❤️🙏

Lana has been an incredible part of our journey with Max since he was just 5 months old, right after his frenectomy. Feeding therapy wasn’t something we ever expected to be part of our parenting story, but from the moment we met Lana, we knew Max was in the right hands. Watching Max grow and thrive with her help has been amazing. She truly sees each child for who they are, meets them where they’re at, and celebrates every win, no matter how small. We’re endlessly grateful for everything she’s done for our family. We can’t recommend this place enough.

I cannot recommend TickTalk Therapy highly enough! Our experience with this practice was nothing short of exceptional. We began seeing Lana after my daughter’s tongue tie release, and her personalized and compassionate approach made a tremendous difference. My daughter had challenges with both breastfeeding and bottle feeding, but after working with Lana, we saw remarkable improvements — no more leaking and a much better feeding experience overall.
Lana’s expertise and guidance gave us clear and actionable recommendations, including specific exercises that we practiced at home. The progress was noticeable after each weekly visit, which kept us motivated and reassured. The entire staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the children they serve. They are also very punctual, which is something I greatly appreciate.
TickTalk Therapy’s commitment to individualized care and their focus on empowering parents through education truly sets them apart. If you’re looking for a practice that combines evidence-based techniques with compassionate care, I highly recommend TickTalk Therapy!

I highly recommend Lana and her team. I am a first-time mom and my husband and I brought our daughter in after she was assessed for a lip and tongue tie. She had her procedure and then began therapy. They have different payment options - private pay was best for us that was super accommodating.
Lana was great with her daughter, so much so that she remembered her and was excited to see her.
She gave us tools and recommendations and exercises to do in between visits and our daughter did wonderful as she progressed and eventually completed therapy.

I absolutely love this office and all of their staff. My daughter started her tongue tie therapy with both Lana in feeding therapy and Taylar for occupational therapy for 5 months. Both were extremely helpful in answering all my questions and assist in better oral motor function before and after her tongue tie release. I was always able to get ahold of the office staff to schedule. Highly recommend this office for any child needing tongue tie therapy but also OT or PT. My daughter went from delaying on milestones to exceeding milestones after complete treatment of her tongue tie. The office space is extremely clean and there are ample seats in waiting room. 10/10 recommend for anyone.

I highly recommend TickTalk Therapy to any parent struggling with feeding issues. Ms. Lana is wonderful—she’s knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely listened to our concerns. After just a few weeks of working with her, we’ve already started seeing progress. We also had occupational therapy with Ms. Taylor, who was both professional and sweet. She made our child feel comfortable and helped him engage in exercises in a fun, playful way. We're so grateful for the support!

This company doesn't care about the kids. They care about the money. They want us to come no late, but the therapy is late is acceptable. The treatment is not natural; 30 minutes is just 20 minutes. They start late and end early. When the kids are sick, they still charge, even if we tell them in the morning. And if we bring the kids, they ask us to go, and they still charge. It's nonsense, and I don't see a difference until now for therapy.

I cannot recommend TickTalk Therapy enough! My daughter struggled with feeding for so long, and we were constantly worried about her weight gain. It felt like we tried everything, but nothing seemed to work. Then we found Ms. Lana at TickTalk Therapy, and it was an absolute game-changer.
Ms. Lana was incredibly patient and understanding, and she created a personalized therapy plan that addressed my daughter's specific needs. The progress was remarkable. My daughter started eating better, trying new foods, and most importantly, gaining weight! It was such a relief to finally see her thriving.
What I also appreciated about TickTalk Therapy was their honest and ethical approach. They only recommended the sessions that my daughter truly needed and were genuinely excited with us as she progressed towards weaning and "graduation" from therapy.
If you have a child with feeding challenges, don't hesitate to reach out to TickTalk Therapy. They are true experts in their field and have made an incredible difference in our lives.

Finding TickTalk Therapy for my daughter was the best thing that could have happened for her speech. When she first started coming, it was very hard to understand most things she said. She has improved so much, and has the skills to stop and correct herself when the bad speech issues would come back. Ms. Lana always made it a safe place for my child and she always felt welcomed and desired to do her best. I highly recommend TickTalk for your child’s speech needs.

The staff and Lana are absolutely amazing. Our daughter had significant speech developmental delays and was being treated through the school. My daughter was diagnosed by Ms. Lana and Dr. Doris Trauner at Randy’s Children’s Hospital-UCSD with Apraxia of speech and Autism. If it wasn’t for Ms. Lana being one of the only local speech pathologist that is actually educated on Apraxia, my daughter would not have received any services out here. Our wonderful CCSD and its speech pathologists do not recognize Apraxia as a speech disorder which couldn’t be further from reality. It is well documented and luckily, Lana was aware of it and provided years of service to help my daughter. As for the absurd review referencing cleanliness, that could not be further from the truth. As a clean freak myself, the faculty has always been clean, tidy, and well sanitized.
Above all, you will receive the best practitioner for speech with Ms Lana and her well vetted employees. You, as the parent, are expected to continue therapy at home, as you should. And if you get lucky enough to have great teachers and speech paths in our very imperfect school district, they will also implement the speech therapy plan that Ms. Lana recommends. It doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Please remain educated so that your kiddo receives the best care in a town that has very limited resources for proper medical care for our special kiddos. I’ve lived here for 18 years now and Tick Talk is one of the rare gems in town that will actually benefit your child’s growth.

I have been coming here for over a year and I love this place. The front office staff is so kind and helpful. My twins have been here for feeding therapy with Lana and for OT with Michelle. Their providers are incredibly knowledgeable and I have seen my girls grow and thrive with their support. Working with Lana was essential to improving my breastfeeding journey. She was able to assess the girls oral function and come up with a plan to improve those skills. My girls were premature and needed more support, once they started solids Lana was there to help us with that as well. I highly recommend this office and their providers.

This is a bad therapy program for the directed and the staff they dont have good communication right. I called on August, 20, 20024 to check on the appointment that I had with one of the workers and she said that she only had my kid scheduled for Thursday but she didn't mention anything about the appointment that had on Tuesday I called at 10:40 am which was enough time to let me know that I had an appointment on Tuesday but she said no and that she only had her here on Thursday the next time came they charged $35 dollar. Then the lady who was at the front desk to check me in told me that there was a $35 dollars fee and told her that they were going to fix that she said that did the investigation and that I canceled both of the appointments is not true I told her she had a manager so I could talk she got up with an attitude to get the director. So I'm not happy with their customer service

Therapy, therapist offices, and tongue ties are not a new avenue for me and my family. My oldest, who is almost 12, was in therapy from the day he was born until he was 6. My third born was in therapy for about 6 months and my youngest has been in therapy now for a little over 2 years. Like I said, not my first rodeo.
Lana's team go above and beyond our expectations. The front desk ladies are always kind, professional, and efficient. We were in between insurances and they worked with us to fix the issue when our pediatrician office was being difficult. We also have appointments twice a week, one of them being Monday morning. If I ever need to cancel my appointment, it's a quick and easy phone call where I leave a voice message. I've never had an issue with this method, given that their office is closed on the weekend and the voicemail has a time stamp.
We've worked consistently with Ms. Lana, Ms. Mary, and Ms. Cara. We've seen a few others when someone is out sick, but that has only been a handful of times in two years. They are always incredible with him, especially since he has stranger-danger and separation anxiety. I would utilize their resources and advice while at home, seeing constant leaps in improvement.
My son didn't get his tongue tie revised until closer to 8 months even though we started therapy at 3 months. As we all know, the tongue is a muscle and you can't just cut it expecting it to know how to function properly. He has technically used it incorrectly for the last 8 months, hence the therapy to strengthen it before getting revised. I have had one of my son's revised a couple days after birth, which didn't require therapy because he was a newborn. My son, who's now 9 years old, passed 5 "inspections" stating he didn't need revision because he was high on the weight charts. Well, I produced an overabundance of milk that he barely needed to work for. Unfortunately, many pediatricians in the field aren't fluent in tongue ties and have outdated knowledge on the subject. I will be getting him revised in the future when he's eligible to avoid all other issues.
I just wanted to add that I'm thankful for therapists and doctors (Smart Mouth | Dr. Tara and Hamilton & Manuele) who have taken the time to become educated in this field. I'm currently in the process of a palate expansion due to having ties my entire 38 years of life. It's a full two year process, $10k+, with uncomfortable/some painful procedures along the way. Having ties has caused a lifetime of dental issues, mouth breathing, chronic sinus infections, constant swollen tonsils, the whole shebang. I was "thriving" just fine as a baby so it was excused even though my sister was revised. I'm happy to say I haven't had any sinus infections, my tonsils are barely visible, and this is my first year without seasonal allergies. I also stopped mouth breathing within two days of my palate expansion procedure. But man, do I wish this was done as a baby. Thriving is important, but so is having your best quality of life.

I give them a 3 star for not being as horrible as most medical facilities in the Valley, but I had higher expectations. We were referred by Smart Mouth after my sons tongue tie was corrected, and I was so hopeful that the "care" would be there. It's just another business. We saw Lana 5x and she never remembered what was going on, didn't take good notes for herself or put details in portal for pediatrician, & she had multiple broken scales which was a huge part of why we were going. Breastfeeding has been an important part of my journey, and my goal was to get him to latch, and of course gain weight. The tips I got from Lana were the same as tips offered by free classes and other community events that have IBCLCs in Vegas. For weeks her broken SCALES (plural) made the trek out there pointless, and the amount of stress I was under because I thought he wasn't gaining weight was frustrating. She then casually was like "Oh my scales haven't been working" for 2 sessions in a row, which were 2 weeks apart. When we didn't go to our last scheduled appointment, no follow up, no check in. I just wanted to prove a point that there really wasn't any genuine care. UMC and Southern Nevada Breastfeeding Coalition are better resources if you are seeking breastfeeding support.

Rude and unprofessional from the from desk staff to owner Lana who doesn't answer her phone. We had multiple issues with this place from them failing to send updates on their progress plan to our insurance; changing therapists every session who do not coordinate and keep doing the same thing over and over again...
Most therapists are below average. We've been there for almost 1 year and no progress on our child speech at all. Again, front desk staff is a nightmare. We asked to have one therapist who will coordinate the sessions and they told us we will call you back because she's waitlisted. One week goes by and no call. I asked the therapist herself on the next session and she opened her laptop and found 2 sessions available. Front desk said again waitlisted... I have to argue every time I need something.
Another bad things is constant wrong charges for therapies we haven't been to their non sense cancelation policy!
They're closed on weekend. Hence, if your child got sick and you couldn't call because they were closed its a $50 charge, complete non sense.
Do not go here, take this review serious before you go thru multiple problems and frustration here.

This place is wonderful! One of my children worked with the speech and language pathologist, Taron, and she was incredible. Practiced using evidence based techniques and had such a sweet disposition with him - he enjoyed going and interacting with her. She also quickly saw his unique personality and was strength-based. I saw enormous growths in his language very quickly. His school even commented that his therapeutic progress was remarkable and wondered where he was receiving speech therapy. The admin staff here is also incredible. I highly recommend them.

Parent be aware, this place is a scam! They give everybody tongue tie doctor cards and tell you that your child needs tongue tie surgery even at the age of 10. I took my son here for six months and all they did was put on a iPad. Taron without my presence or permission told my son that he needs tongue tie surgery and went on and on about it to 9 year old. She even argue with me that she knows more than my pediatrician who’s been practicing for over 30 years. She graduated in 2019. This place needs to be reported and close down immediately!!!!! They are contracted and get money from tongue tie doctors. Taron you owe me and my son an apology and please get rid of your attitude or change your occupation.

We had my daughter here to get some speech therapy through the summer before she started the inclusion Pre-K at CCSD. The therapy was okay, and she made some progress. However, we had an incident where a therapist grabbed a toy away from my daughter in a rather aggressive way. This upset her a lot as she has some of the traits of ASD, including restrictive behaviors, and I felt this could've been handled better.

First of all the therapists and office staff were very friendly to my daughter and me. But the billing is done very shady. My daughter was a patient from August 2021 - February 2022. We went twice a week. We stopped going only because I lost my insurance. In that time period I never received a bill and was never told I owed anything. For the first two months I paid a small copay. It was charged to my card automatically when we walked into door. After two months they stopped charging copay. I assumed it was due to deductible being met. In April 2022 I was emailed a statement of all charges from beginning of service in August 2021. I was being billed entire charge. They say the reason I wasn’t informed of charge was due to delay in insurance. But insurance was approving claim within days of receiving it. So they knew week after week and month after month that I was accruing a large bill. I only wonder if I hadn’t lost my insurance and canceled the service how much more I would have owed.

If they suggest feeding therapy for your baby prior to getting tongue tie releases I would suggest a second opinion. I felt like a cash cow, being financially milked weekly for my baby’s “necessary” feeding therapy which was “required” before a lip, cheek and tongue tie release. My baby was meeting all of his milestones and high in percentile according to his pediatrician, but Lana was making me feel like I was a bad mother just because I voiced my opinion on the effects of prolonging his frenectomy with an indefinite amount of therapy’s. I thought she was taking the role of a pediatrician by suggesting he wasn’t meeting his milestones just because he didn’t want to grab a toy and she also suggested occupational therapy. While I agree that Therapy is great, it was not “necessary” for my baby. Moms know their child best- I’m with my baby 24/7 but she argued she knew better since she is the professional. I think this is why some moms don’t even ask for help, especially hispanic moms, because when we do, we are taken advantage financially, mentally, and emotionally or it is assumed we are uninformed/ uneducated.

TickTalk had us wait 2 months to finally get an evaluation for our baby before a tongue tie surgery. They claimed it was our pediatricians fault, then it was the insurances fault, but it was never their fault. My wife and I were frustrated at how long it was taking until they finally said we could do private pay. If we would have known Private pay was an option since the beginning maybe it wouldn’t have been 2 months in waiting because the insurance wasn’t covering much anyways. Our baby was developing cognitively, and he didn’t want to perform his feeding exercises sometimes because his mommy wasn’t present and sometimes because he just wasn’t hungry. Lana would tell us that our baby was just not ready for a frenectomy but I didn’t know Lana was a doctor? I also didn’t know she knew our baby better than my wife? Because my wife certainly made a bad choice of leaving her career to take care of our kids if someone else knows them more than she does. Overall, our baby was fully cooperative with the exercises when he was hungry especially in the comfort of our home. This led my wife to believe he didn’t need the therapy before the frenectomy but no one cared or listened until she finally found another place.

My son has been going here for about a year. Next week will be his last time going. Truly the best choice for us as a family. All of the staff is amazing. My sons main therapist Ms. Cara we absolutely love her but my son has gone to a lot of the ladies when we have had to reschedule. They have been super understanding when we have had to do that. I appreciate that more then they know. Some days this mama was stressed out lol

Bringing my son here has made his confidence and happiness skyrocket. I really appreciate the professionalism and personable experience every time I go. Linda and Noelle at the front desk have always been so helpful and friendly towards my husband and I. I would 100% recommend going here for speech and feeding therapy!

Tick Talk Therapy has been our home away from home for nearly 3 years! Lana and her staff have treated all 3 of my kids for different speech/feeding needs over the years and I am blown away by their continued progress!
The front office staff is so friendly and organized and professional. They always help me with insurance issues and scheduling.
I can’t recommend the Tick Talk Therapy team enough. They are more than therapists.. they are FAMILY!

Lana and TickTalk therapy have been amazing! We went from a three year old who didn’t even say mama to a first grader exceeding standards, and a child who loved to go see Lana and loves school. She was an excellent advocate and resource for me as I navigated Clark County School District, and I highly recommend the practice.

I started taking my middle child to TickTalk a little over 2 years ago. I've been so happy with them that I've taken all 3 of my kids for various issues for both speech therapy and occupational therapy. The staff is friendly and competent and the therapists are fantastic.
I'm also a dentist who refers my patients to them regularly. Lana and her team are top notch!
