I’ve had the unfortunate need of seeing a foot doctor quite a few times over the last 7-8 years and Dr Swenson and his staff are excellent. They usually can get me in same day or within a few days and will help fix whatever issue I’m having. From issues with toe nails to messed up tendons and severely stubbed toes (I’m a clutz).

Very kind front staff and very efficient office.
The doctor explains clearly what needs to be done and how he will address it and the goal for recovery. He doesn’t sugar coat or evade - or speak in a manner that the general average human can’t understand.

If you have urgent foot needs - this is the office for you!

I had pain and swelling in my foot. I googled places near me. I found Swenson Foot and Ankle and made an appointment.

Dr Swenson is nothing short of amazing. He diagnosed me, answered my questions, and had me on medication within 20 minutes and I can say I am 50% better the same night. He said I should be good in 48 hours.

If you have any foot or ankle problems I highly recommend this office. Staff was very professional as well.

I recently saw Dr. Swanson for an aspiration of a ganglion cyst on my foot, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. I had an Achilles tear and my PCP gave me a referral (to a different place) and they didn't respond. So I reached out to Swenson Foot & Ankle. They took me in immediately, put me in a boot and walked (ha!) me through the whole process. Dr. Swanson was so nice during the initial visit and very patiently answered all my questions.

Great doctor, amazing (and responsive) staff. I have to drive a bit further to go here, but it's well worth it.

I’m always a little weary when a medical office gets such good reviews (since people usually tend to only post reviews when they are upset) but this office lived up to its reviews and more for me!
The front desk staff was friendly, competent, and efficient. The waiting room was empty and clean. The wait was short. The initial talk with the M/A or nurse was pleasant and efficient. And then the visit with the doctor was perfect. He answered all my questions and concerns. He talked to me in a way I could understand. He offered me options. He was thorough and kind and quick but not rushed. Then to check out, he told me to let them at the desk know I’d follow up if need be. They quickly took my copay and I was on my way. There was absolutely nothing short of excellence from everyone I encountered. And I genuinely appreciate offices that can run this efficiently and apparently consistently (based on other reviews)!! Highly recommend!!

Grant Swenson has the worst empathy and professionalism of any doctor I have ever seen in my life. I work in the healthcare industry; his bed side manner is atrocious. I found another Podiatrist and have already seen them, and they listened to me, were empathetic, and helped me understand it was going to be ok. What is wrong with this guy??? Please do yourself a favor and if you want to be treated with compassion and respect, go find someone else. I had a really bad ingrown toenail and after some research I decided to go to Dr. Grant
I am so glad I made the right choice!!!! Staffing was so helpful, they took care of me from booking my appointment to getting me ready for the procedure I had to get done. Best experience I could ask for. I called the office as a new patient last week Thursday hoping to be seen before I move out of state next week. The front office staff was lovely to work with and they got me in the next Monday morning. When I arrived for my appointment, ladies at the front were a delight as well as the medical assistant who brought me back and got me started before seeing Dr. Swenson. I hardly had to wait when Dr. Swenson came in as he apologized for the very short wait and we chatted as he assisted my issue. He explained and treated my issue with a quick procedure and was a joy to work with and sent me on my way with after care instructions within about 20 minutes. I’m so grateful for the care I received. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a more pleasant environment in a doctors office. Highly recommend.

I visited Mr. Swenson today to get a second opinion for some foot issues I have been dealing with for a while. I chose to come to him based upon the good reviews and nice comments I had seen from other patients that had also been under his care, but my experience with him was one of the worst I've ever had with a physician. Although his staff was great, I was dumfounded to his arrogant posture, negligence to address my questions and concerns, and disinterest in recommending a solid plan for me. Mr. Swenson was more concerned with attempting to get me to "take a cortisone shot," as he asked me if I wanted to multiple times, as well as being intent on knowing which other doctor(s) I had saw for the same issue before, which to my surprise he then suggested I might want to go back to. He also referred me to a surgeon named Roman Sibel, in which he mentioned that although he is a good surgeon, and that if I were to have an major reconstruction of my foot, that he (as in Mr. Sibel) would not "waste much time talking to me about what he was going to do with my foot surgery" to ensure all my concerns are addressed before hand. More than anything I am extremely disappointed in the lack of concern and expression of disinterest, and I will not recommend anyone dealing with foot issues to this doctor.

10 stars out of 5. Impeccable procedures in squeaky clean handling by assistant and professional technique of Dr. Swenson. Doctor had patted down gentle bedside manner by explaining to me what to expect. My foot injury occurred 76 years ago leaving with me a disfigured big toe nail. It's ingrown nail began to bother me more frequently. After the assistant cleaned my foot the Dr. Swenson shot a cold spray on my toe before needle.
He needled in two spots by the root of the toenail. After that he carefully took time to poked on my toe a few times so to examine how anesthesia took effect.
I felt nothing at all when he removed 1/4 of my the toe nail. I wore closed toe shoes home though I had prepared a large open toe slipper.
Day two: I am driving to a pharmacy to buy Epson salt for soaking my foot 10 minutes before replacing the dressing. My toe is not bleeding at all. Afterthought: Had I known him, I would not have waited so long to undergo the procedure. Don't wait if you have a foot problem. Call Dr. Swenson's office today. You will be only sorry that you didn't act sooner.
Dr. Swenson is a hiker. He knows the importance of walking. He will treat you better than you may expect.

I have work for alot of doctors and here in Vegas it's hard to find a good doctor especially one that cares.

My son dislocated his toe had to go to Quick Care where they did an xray but they had no Radiologist to read it. So they said that we needed to make an appt with an ortho.

I called Foot and Ankle Specialist of Nevada was on hold for over 30 min just so they can hang up on me. No one came on the phone just automated.

Called here and was so surprised and happy it wasn't automated an actually live person answering the phone. Roxanne the Receptionist and Front Desk was very nice, friendly, and professional. We were able to get in the same day. When we got there it was still the same in the lobby with Roxanne not any different from how she was on the phone.

We didn't wait long at all. The MA that brought us back was very nice and friendly. Didn't wait long at all in the room. Dr. Swenson came in introduce himself. And check my son toe and ask him all the questions. Our son felt so comfortable talking to him. Dr. Swenson bedside manner and how he handles kids are wonderful. How he talked to us and explained everything and made sure we understood and kept asking if we had any questions or concerns. He took his time, we didn't feel rushed at all. You can feel the vibe his a family oriented man and it shows how he cares and treats his patients.

Our son needed a boot and his staff was great their customer service is by far the best I've seen in town especially the physician himself.

I forgot I needed a note for school I had to call in spoke with his MA and her phone etiquette was outstanding. Tone of voice goes a long way since you can't show expression through the phone but you can hear it and the MA and Front desk you can hear they care through the phone. We had no problem getting a note.

We highly recommend this family friendly practice to anyone who is looking for a great, understanding, and caring physician and staff. My husband will be seeing him now for his gout.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Swenson today. I am totally pleased with him and the entire staff. I have sought help for my foot from a previous doctor with no resolution. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. I was treated amazingly by every single person I encountered at this office. I was treated with so much respect, empathy, and compassion. Most doctors I have encountered don’t even want to deal with self-pay (uninsured) patients.

The receptionist was very helpful. She gave me the self-pay price for an ingrown toenail removal and confirmed it upon arrival. She told me there was a 50% off special for self-pay/cash payments for the procedure. The special was around $130 dollars or so for the procedure, per toe. I paid a little extra for the post-op boot (only $15 for a high quality boot). It was not a hidden fee, it was something I requested.

I waited less than 5 minutes upon completion of my paperwork and being accepted into the office. The doctor fit me in his already busy schedule and did a thorough consultation. Not once did I feel rushed. He told me of two possible complications and how he would address the ingrown toenail. He also put me at ease and was very funny, at first I attributed it to my nerves, but he actually had me laughing at certain points. He definitely made me calm and confident and mentally ready for this procedure. I felt that I was in the right place.

The nurse who tended to my foot prior to the procedure was also reassuring and asked if I had ever had the procedure done before or if I had any questions. She scrubbed my foot and prepped the tools. As she exited the doctor was in a minute later and was ready to get to work. He used a cold spray to ease the pain of the needle and warned me that the pinch doesn’t hurt as much as the pressure from the numbing agent. But I was in a much more relaxed state, so while there was temporary discomfort, I felt that it could’ve been worse. He then gave me some extra numbing agent because my toenail was infected and he wanted to make sure the procedure wouldn’t cause me pain.

The doctor started the procedure and it felt like 5-10 minutes was all it took. He asked if I would like to see the toe. I did and it looked better than it did before the surgery. He explained the things to look out for and how to care for it. He wrapped my toe very heavily stating that it wasn’t necessary just a little overkill on the bandage which is always great for your peace of mind.

The follow up appointment is scheduled and I am delighted to say it is included with the procedure. That is truly a sign of a doctor who cares for his patients. He is not out there trying to nickel and dime you, his office is really the kind of place where you feel cared for. My wife and twin girls don’t have any foot complications now but moving forward any foot or ankle injuries will bring me to this lovely practice.

I plan on continuing my running regimen now thanks to Doctor Swenson! You have my business for as long as I live in Vegas (or even as far as 3 hours within driving range of Las Vegas) because it’s totally worth it!

Dr. Swenson is by far top notch. Like someone said, quality medical care is hard to find in Vegas but Dr. Swenson is so great. Completely engaged with you and explains everything thoroughly. I was severely nervous to get my ingrown toenails (ew) removed and he immediately saw that once walking in the room and continued to make sure I was doing okay. We had lots of laughs and jokes which made the terrible situation actually pleasant. Overall, a great Guy and Doctor. The staff was all great too, even the poor girl who has the job of scrubbing your feet before the procedure. I also like to add, that the appointment was on time and not a million people in the waiting room (actually it was just me and my husband waiting) which I find is the best as it shows they are not overbooking and taking time to see you.

Just got harassed by the drs there because they don't understand why they need to refill my insurance . Told them today I met my deductible i just happened to call the insurance today as I forgot yet they threatened me to collections . They gave me a hard time to it rebill it.

Make sure your deductibles are met before u step good in this place. Why the Dr threatened me to collections is because they get interest money then if the rebil my insurance they don't make extra.

Yet walking out the door the day of service I was told that was all I was going to owe was what I paid up front they didn't clarify anything else.

Great guy!! Knows his stuff & got me set up with insoles in record time. I was in and out of there in like 5-10 minutes and that's including filling out paperwork and asking him about a weird growth toenail (of which he was super knowledgeable & told me that it might be an issues but it's something that we should just wait & see if it resolves on its own)

Wonderful experience - Doctor Swenson listens to things you have already been thru. Then helps with the issue you are there for without giving you the same headaches you have already heard. If something sounds close to what you may have heard. He goes into detail his thoughts to where you understand and its not just blow you off.

I got seen same-day on a Friday afternoon and it put my mind at ease regarding my worst sprained ankle to date. Got an x ray and a boot, had to reschedule the next appointment and they were nice about that. 3 months 11 days after the accident and I'm trail running again, doing box jumps and jumping rope.

Great experience with Dr. Swenson and his staff! I didn't have to wait long at all to get in. Dr. Swenson is extremely friendly and professional. He actually spent time getting to know me and my medical history. He took the time to patiently address each of my concerns. He then discussed with me my options and made me feel very comfortable with the course of action. Best doctor visit I've ever had. I'll never see a different DPM!
