I have never been here and needed to get my eyes checked. When I walked in Andrea greeted me with a smile and assist me in paperwork. After picking a frame Along came Gaby so nice and bubbly. After Gaby did her testing and photos of my eyes I waited for Dr. Shiraishi. Once the Doctor came she was so nice and covering about the health of my eyes. This has truly changed how i feel about eyes doctors. The entire staff was so friendly and made you feel so comfortable highly recommed more than 5 star if I could. I had an appointment today at The Eye Doc on St Rose, it was my first time there and I would definitely recommend to any person to come here. Andrea and Gaby were amazing at the front with helping me find frames that fit my face and that worked with my insurance. Lady on the phone was rude and frustrated. She spelled my name and my primaries name wrong 4 times and still couldn’t get it right then said that their birthday must be a different date because she doesn’t see them in the system. No it’s not. She refused to check insurance with my primaries name and birthday and was snarky and backhanded over the phone. My mother and brother have gone here and said they had wonderful experiences but I guess there have been some changes with this office since last year. If you want to schedule an appointment you might as schedule online to see someone or go to a different optometrist. I have been an optometrist tech and I would never treat a patient like this! entirely unprofessional!

Update- The office has personally reached out and apologized. Apparently they have a call center that sets up the appointments for them. The office was very understanding and checked my insurance and made sure I was all set up for my appointment! If you want to schedule I would suggest doing it online or going in person to the location itself!

Where do I even start? Ever since Dr. Noll left, this location has seen a steady decline in quality. It has been closed for several days without notice, and I’ve been trying to pick up my glasses for weeks. To make matters worse, the hours listed on Google and Apple Maps are completely wrong. I’ve wasted multiple trips driving down here because it says they’re open, only to find it’s closed. The incorrect hours give off a "we’re open when we’re open" vibe, as if they couldn't care less about the patients' time or convenience.

Between the broken phone systems and the constant rotation of random doctors, there is zero consistency.

What’s most insulting is the "luxury" front they try to put on. They are happy to sell Cartier and Chanel, but the actual medical side is falling apart!! During my exam, the equipment felt incredibly dated, and the exam chair kept drifting and moving the entire time. It felt really ghetto and unprofessional, especially when you consider they are marking up Michael Kors frames to nearly triple the price of their competitors. I asked how much they run and was shocked to find out they start at $350! I was able to get Michael Kors glasses for HALF the price at another glasses place.

If they have the money to price-gouge patients, why isn't that money going back into the office? I felt genuine secondhand embarrassment watching the professional staff—the same people pretesting me and selling me high-end frames—having to double as the cleaning crew. A business selling designer labels should be able to hire a janitor. Seeing the staff cleaning on top of their actual jobs; tells you everything you need to know about this place
Avoid this place at all costs! They are providing bottom-tier service at "luxury" prices. It’s a total scam.

I brought my daughter in last week for glasses and contacts and Dr. Shiraishi was so great! My husband and I decided to come today due to the first experience with her and once again it was perfect. From the front desk to purchasing the glasses with Kayley, Alexis and Jarely, which let me say that these girls are super friendly and knowledgeable! I feel like I’ve known them forever. Went there they didn’t do any exam barely looked at me and claimed that my astigmatism had GONE AWAY! Well one quick Google search shows that astigmatism never goes away.

The doctor didn’t even know what she’s doing. I came there to have a check up because I notice theres floaters into my eyes and I see a dark curtain on my right eye. And it could be a sign of Retina detachment. I went there But they didn’t do a thorough check up. They didn’t even dilate the eyes To see and go deeper what’s really wrong into it. And their prognosis was everything is OK your eyes are good and I went few days after Abrams eye Institute and Retina Consultants Of nevada and it was confirmed After series of test, I have a retina detachment and my doctor have to do the surgery that same day. Thank God I went to a different doctor for a second opinion, or else my detachment would get worse. Eye doctors clinic doesn’t really know what they’re doing at all . They even charge me full price if if they could’ve talked to my insurance about it . What a waste of time and money . I keep it to this clinic because I thought they’re good on what they’re doing because of the reviews But it seems it’s not really reliable at all.

I want you guys to know I just walked in the eye doctors on St. Rose after doing something silly like trying to crazy glue my Eye glasses, but Anai one of the staff was AMAZING she not only fixed my glasses but help get the crazy glue off the rest of the staff Emma and Rose are very polite and wonderfully engaging so if you ever need glasses or repair I HIGHLY recommend The Eye Doctors !!!!

This place billed my insurance $280 for frames and charged me a co-pay for also. Funny thing is, I didn't buy frames from them, I brought my own and had them put lenses in.
Cigna has called them and asked to have it removed however it's been a week, numerous promises of call backs that haven't happened.
I tried to get reimbursed for my frames, out of network and accidentally found out my claim was denied because they were paid.
They basically defrauded my insurance company and have not fixed anything.
I recommend checking EVERYTHING they do before you pay them and check your insurance claim they file.

I did not get my eye exam there, but I had a new prescription from an ophthalmologist, and when I got my glasses from the Eye Doc, I could read better without any glasses then I could with the glasses. They redid my eye exam and the prescriptions are so different. It’s unbelievable. I was looking for a quick appointment for a new pair of glasses for my 7 yr old son after his first one just broke but also at a place with decent reviews. I found this place on google, was happy with the reviews and called. I was able to get an appointment here the next day with Dr. Noll. I arrived, filled out the form and waited a few minutes. Dr. Noll called us in and immediately my son felt comfortable with her. He is very shy with strangers and sort of scared from his first eye appointment elsewhere. Dr. Noll made conversation with him the entire time while doing her job beautifully, effectively and quickly too. He had LOTS of questions lol and luckily she had lots of patience! I was really pleased with Dr. Noll during this visit. She also cut back his prescription in half from his original strong prescription that wasn't even needed for him. Afterwards we started to look for glasses with Juan Pablo, the sales manager. He was very kind. My son found a pair he loved and should be more durable with baseball. Juan ran the numbers with insurance, I added the extras that I wanted, paid and got the order in. It's typical nowadays for 3 weeks give or take turn around. It will be 3 weeks on the 15th of April and I was already told it should be arriving by the 14th.
So far, I am pleased with the visit for my son and I would recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. is nice, but staff is rude and untrained. Told me they would order new contacts and just never did blaming me that I didnt send in my old prescription, even after I just got and paid for a whole new eye exam with them. Waste of time and money

The Eye Doctor was good, the staff is rude and unprofessional. I took my young daughter there for her first eye exam. Her prescription was very light but it still took 3 weeks to get her glasses in. I called after 1 week and again after two weeks because I understood the the prescription would be ready in “a few days”. I waited until the end of the 3rd week to call again. I was told that the glasses had been ready for 5 days but no one called me to let me know. When I told the person on the phone that I’d been waiting for two weeks, she was very rude insisting that the office had called me and left a message. I told her that I have no numbers received from the store number and certainly no messages from them. She just rudely said “Well, we called!”

When we arrived to pick pick up our glasses, the person who was supposed to fit them and check for fit did not. My 7 year old is a new glasses wearer yet she didn’t show her how to properly put the glasses on, she didn’t check for fit behind the ears, and she did not ensure that the prescription was correct. I had to ask her to show my little one how to properly put the glasses on, and I ended up having to show her myself. She did try to up-sell me a second pair of glasses though.

At the end of this whole interaction I had to ask 3 times for a receipt. The first 2 times she told me I didn’t need a receipt. When I insisted on taking a picture of her form showing everything was paid, that’s when she offered to print a receipt.

I won’t go back.

Dr. Aimee Noll is great at what she does. Very relatable to teens and parents. Juan helped us with the paperwork, specifications for what she would have in her lense, and checking out. He also was very helpful when choosing which frames would be the best for her. I have been bringing the entire family to The Eye Doc at St. Rose. It’s always a great experience.

This place has the best customer service anywhere. Everyone who works here is super friendly, and good at their profession. My entire family was in and out in less than an hour. When there was a manufacturer defect in my cheap frames, they replaced them twice for free. The third time I had the same defect from the same manufacturer. They gave me an incredible discount on a designer pair of glasses. They’re also really great with kids.

I wear bifocals and my family is happy because after Dr. Noll adjusted my bifocal prescription I don’t have to take my glasses off to read things up close or to see people that are usually blurry when they are close to me. I have a whole new outlook with my vision. I’m NEVER changing from her. The staff is friendly, the music is great, and they get you in and out.
