Where do I even begin. The first thing that happened is the Dr not sending the PET scan info out until the following week after my husband's appointment. The referral got approved but it was 3 weeks until PET scan appointment, the day AFTER his next Dr appointment to get results of said PET scan. Then when they said he needs bone marrow biopsy, we told them he has to be sedated for it. They said Steinberg does it, and I asked if they take our insurance. Turns out they don't. So the referral got sent back and they had to send a new one to Pueblo. Turns out Pueblo does not sedate for bone marrow so the referral got sent back again. Mind you this place uses a (call center) type place I believe thats in California that does the calls and insurance stuff. Anyways so he had to get a new referral to Sunrise Hospital for the bone marrow biopsy that will sedate him, and they did not send in the pre-op bloodwork referral for it, so he had to wait even longer for that.
The Dr orders 4 rounds of treatment that gets approved, but because the Dr did his treatments a month apart instead of every 3 weeks the 4th dose was not approved because it was outside the approval window date. They call him on Monday to let him know his infusion for the next day is canceled. Prior to this, he had his appointment with the Dr, and the Dr said he would be ordering 4 more rounds to get approved that day to make sure they were ready to go when the time came for them. That was Aug 25th. Sep 15th was his 4th infusion date and the Dr had not yet even ordered the next 4 rounds yet to get approved even though he said he would on Aug 25th. My husband called our insurance on Sep 15th to see if they even got the referral yet for the new 4 rounds and they hadn't yet which pushed us over the edge to change his oncologist. When we went to pick up his medical records from them to give to the new oncologist, they said they had sent them over already. When we took the hard copies to the new place because we did not trust this place to do it in a timely manner, the new place said they did not get them yet. Don't get me wrong the people that work there are pleasant, even the Dr is very nice. Its just not a place that runs smooth when peoples lives are on the line. It took almost 3 months from his first appointment to his first infusion.

Very disappointing experience with this oncology office. They are consistently running behind schedule, and the office often feels extremely unorganized. Appointments are scheduled for a certain time, but you can expect to wait a long time before actually being seen.
When you’re already dealing with something as stressful as cancer treatment, the last thing you need is added frustration from an office that doesn’t seem to manage its time or communicate well with patients. I understand that medical appointments can sometimes run late, but this feels like a recurring issue rather than an occasional one.
I really hope they improve their organization, communication, and scheduling because patients deserve to feel respected and valued, especially during such a difficult time.

I wish I could give this office ZERO stars. The way my father and our family were treated during the most frightening and vulnerable time of our lives was absolutely unacceptable.
My father was seriously ill with cancer, and instead of receiving urgency, compassion, communication, and follow-through from an oncology office, we were given the runaround. I repeatedly tried to get help and answers while watching my father get sicker, and I felt like I had to fight every step of the way just to get people to do what they said they were going to do.
Two people in particular made this experience even worse.
Angie, the office manager: I contacted this office desperately trying to advocate for my sick father. Instead of focusing on HIS situation and helping me resolve the problems with his care, Angie spent an inappropriate amount of our conversation telling me about her own personal problems and circumstances, seemingly looking for sympathy from me. I was the daughter of a man with cancer begging an oncology office for help. That was not the time to put your personal problems on my shoulders. I needed an office manager who cared about what was happening to my father and who was willing to take responsibility and get something done.
Alisha: There was a complete lack of follow-through, and when I continued calling because things were not being handled, I was actually told that I needed to “let people do their job.” I will never forget those words. I WAS trying to let people do their jobs. The problem was that things were not getting done, and my father’s health was deteriorating while I was being told to essentially back off.
This wasn’t a delayed haircut, a restaurant reservation, or paperwork that could wait. This was my father’s LIFE. He had cancer. Time mattered.
My father has now passed away. 💔 And what makes this even more unbelievable is that, after everything that happened, this oncology office STILL has not even followed up on him or our family. Not a call. Not an acknowledgment. Nothing.
I understand that medical offices are busy. I understand that employees are human and have their own lives and problems. What I cannot understand or excuse is a lack of urgency, accountability, compassion, and follow-through when you work in ONCOLOGY and families are depending on you during some of the worst days of their lives.
I will live with the loss of my father for the rest of my life, and I will also remember how helpless and dismissed this office made me feel while I was desperately trying to advocate for him.
Families dealing with cancer deserve better than this. My father deserved better than this.

Worst place. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Trying to schedule an appointment is incredibly frustrating—you have to wait weeks, and no one follows up or contacts you. When you call, you rarely get a clear answer or any helpful information.
The front desk staff in particular is very rude and dismissive. For a cancer center, where patients and their families are already going through an incredibly difficult and stressful time, the lack of compassion and professionalism is unacceptable. Patients deserve better communication, respect, and support.

The oncology department's exceptional care and attention to detail have been a source of comfort and strength for me. Angelica Jauregui's expertise and instincts were instrumental in identifying a critical issue, and her prompt action ensured I received the necessary medical attention, resulting in a three-week hospital stay. The front desk staff, chemo team, and my doctor Parikn Nutan all provided outstanding support and care, making me feel like part of a larger family. I am grateful for their dedication and professionalism.

I am not a patient, thank God. I watched the women at the front desk, give a blank referral form, telling the patient to make an appointment. When asked about the referral, they were clueless. They didn't send a referral to the next MD. So the appointment can't be made. They waste your time like it doesnt matter. All they do is sit and chat???? Unbelievable. Called the office at 12:15 for someone to answer and say "we're closed till 1". So why answer the phone, that's the stupidest thing yet.

Danger! Danger! Danger! Do not visit Dr. Rita Mukherjee at the Oncology Institute located at 6450 Medical Center Street in Las Vegas, NV. I don't know if she was having a bad day but she argued with me that I dont have several medical conditions, many of which she's known i have had for several years while under her care. Today she outright argued with me saying I don't have the medical conditions nor did she EVER tell me I have Cancer. Yet, after she got her head out of the fog she was in and read my prior test results, she then says yes I do have cancer? I see many doctor for many reasons, she is the only one that tried to tell me she knows more about body than I do! She is a definite quack! Please use your BEST judgement and DO NOT let her mess around with your health. Just stay away from her and see a more qualified professional. I will DEFINITELY NEVER go back to that business again.

I had a horrible visit with a Doctor, I won't say his name, since I've already addressed it with higher management. He told me my results were old and left almost immediately after that (I'm sure you can guess which Doctor it is, as it seems past reviews have mentioned him). I didn't even get a chance to ask any questions, which felt dehumanizing. Neither did he even notice that I was flagged for *Pre-Diabetes** on my blood test (huge concerning indicator for me, since I have family history of Diabetes)!!!
That being said, this is a 5 star review because Nurse Ina and the front desk supervisor, Angie, turned this horrible experience into an amazing one. Angie comforted me as I was crying over the experience and with the advice from Nurse Ina, did everything in her power to help resolve the situation. She went above and beyond!
I left that Doctor consultation on the verge of tears and then left the office crying happy ones. I was so ready to find a new Dr's office, but Angie and Nurse Ina (who deserve a raise!) were so spectacular that I am absolutely excited for my next appointment.
Thank you to Angie and Nurse Ina. I sincerely hope that you are rewarded by upper management for the kindness and care you treated me with. If it weren't for you, I would no longer be a patient.
As for the Doctor in question, I hope no other patients have to go through what I went through. I hope after this experience, he understands that patients take time out of their day to see a Doctor, the least he can do is ask if they have any questions. No one deserves to come out of an office visit feeling utterly neglected.

I’ve had a terrible experience. A doctor said he was ordering me an iron infusion 3 weeks ago. I still don’t have an appointment for an iron infusion. It’s always phone tag, being on hold, or being told “we’ll call you back”. I spoke to one supervisor who had sympathy for my situation. Everyone else has been robotic and told me to try calling another time or “we’ll call you back”. In the meantime… I’m still walking around with anemia, in need of an iron infusion to have a more enjoyable life.
UPDATE: I did eventually get my infusions. They went well and my quality of life improved. The scheduling process was a pain, but we got it figured out eventually.

I had a good experience in the office. However, I was sent home with knowing I was to pick up B-12 vile, to give myself shots. I got them from the pharmacy and there were no syringes. I have called twice and no one has called me back. I also was supposed to have iron infusions and no one has contacted me yet. It has been 3 weeks today. I’m very frustrated and exhausted!

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this facility. The billing department has submitted 2 of my claims to my health insurance company as out of network and I have had to make it right. Why would I go to a facility out of network and pay more? Their billing department lies and tells me I owe money but when I work with my health insurance company, I learn that this facility is incorrectly submitting my claims. I am in network. I only owe my copay. No apologies. Then I go in for my appointment today and am told the doctor isn't in and I have to reschedule. I asked why they didn't just call me so I didn't take the time to make arrangements and go in, and they said they tried calling me. That is also a lie. I received no calls from anyone, including an unknown number. I even got a text yesterday confirming my appointment for today. I've had it! I don't think I'll go back.

I booked new patient appointment in Henderson. Text today says it is at Las Vegas location. I cannot even get thru to discuss the mix up. I texted, and called. 19 callers ahead, then 29 callers ahead. This is ludicrous.

Terrible customer service.
I’ve been calling for three days just to make a simple appointment. Today, someone finally answered, only to put me on hold for 30 minutes—and then hung up on me. What a joke.

I am sorry, but I am now on my 4th doctor in 4+ years. Ever changing office!
For the most part, an unfriendly atmosphere, staff for a cancer office.
I had an 830 appointment. I received a text. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment which I did. Their office doesn’t even open until 830 so I was there 15 minutes outside the door for no reason at all.
When they finally opened the door, the woman said we’re open now I had my dog in the stroller and she proceeded to let the door close and not hold it open for me. Am I old school or just expecting too much?
My appointment was at 8:30. I was not addressed until 850 only one there.
My new doctor was very hard to understand and I’m just glad that it’ll be five years. I’ll be cancer free so I don’t have to go back to that establishment that you feel so unwelcome.

Horrible service. The staff does not follow up on paperwork or referrals making it difficult to schedule or keep appointments, they then blame other medical facilities instead of just owning up to the fact that they dropped the ball. You will never be able to reach any location by phone, they will not answer and no, you will never get a callback or voicemail option, it will just ring forever regardless of the option you select. You will never have the same doctor, my mother saw three different doctors in one year. Been trying for two weeks to let them know that my mom passed away and we will no longer need their "services" but since they wont answer the phones at ANY location in the valley, this will be the notification. Find a place that will answer the phone, have staff that is professional, empathic and consistent. This is not that place.

Unprofessional, uncoordinated, and only cares for profits not your health.
Cancels appointments without notifying you and if you show up early for an appointment you’ll have to wait hours before they may just tell you that you’ve been canceled.

BE AWARE!!!
I received chemotherapy treatment from the office of Dr Nutan Parikh in Las Vegas Cancer Center 2904 W. Horizon Reach Parkway Suite 201 Henderson, NV 89052 in July, 2023. I was approved by Medicaid for chemotherapy treatment as of July 1, 2023. I did not have my physical card at the time I started, however was eligible to start treatment as of July 1, 2023. I provided their front office with my Medicaid account number/card number. I was told by their front office that I could start the treatment right away but since I did not have my physical card yet I needed to pay cash or credit card and would be reimbursed by their office as soon as the billing department was able to confirm the coverage. I paid $1301.60 for the first two weeks of treatment July 10th-July-15th. I provided the front office with the physical card from Medicaid. I showed eligibility/coverage at the time the services were rendered. I asked for the refund by calling the billing office every 2 to 3 weeks, but never received the refund. The billing department only replies that because Medicaid still owes us money therefore until we receive the payment we won’t be able to release the refund back. When I called Medicaid directly they told me that they cannot hold patients refunds as its illegal, and no matter how much I try to communicate with the office, it was all the same answer… “Until we get paid, we will not release the refund back.”
This goes against Medicaid policy!!!

Dr. Yousif is a wonderful doctor. He is takes the time to go over my progress and he keeps up to date on my other surgeries and procedures. He offers options and what path we need to stay on to keep my stage 4 cancer under control. His manner is always pleasant and he really cares when I ask questions about my progress and moving forward. Overall, the whole office takes the time to respond to my needs. Mr Ben Brackett. I am the office manager at LVCC. I am sorry for your experience. I have had an appropriate discussion with the nurse involved and I have changed the venipuncture policy so that occurrences like this won't happen again. We are refunding your money (except for the co pay)I have tried to call you with no luck. Please accept our sincere apologies for our nurse having an off day. If I can help you in any way don't hesitate to call.

The male nurse here couldn't find a vein with both hands and a flashlight. When I dared to complain about the incredible, medieval torture-levels of pain he was inflicting on me, he yelled at me, stopped the procedure, and told me to get out. SO PROFESSIONAL. Not one drop of blood was drawn, and I was charged $200. If there's any alternative, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.
