I have pretty severe dental anxiety and I can confidently say the team here was incredibly accommodating. Dr. Nelson was patient when I needed a moment before a procedure and I felt safe and taken care of throughout. Highly recommend for families!

I should note that my 5-year-old was bummed that the office didn’t have all the bells and whistles of kid dental offices, but he was over it when he got to choose a prize!

I see why this place is rated so highly. They have very friendly and competent staff. The office was extremely clean and maintained. I really enjoyed my visit. My hygienist Kelly was amazing. Hands down an AMAZING office!!! From the front office, dental assistant, and the doctor. Their customer service is on point. My husband had a bad toothache and needed an extraction on a Saturday. Called their office, she asked for some information and was able to tell us if our insurance was in network and looked our benefits up right away. We drove there right after the call. When we arrived the office was inviting, very clean, and very nice and up to date. They took us back right away and did Xrays and extraction. Dr. Nielson and his dental assistant explained everything clearly and always made sure my husband was comfortable. We left the office with a "WOW" that was a great experience.

They won us over, and we will be switching the whole family to Dr. Nielson! As a business owner, customer service is everything. Its the way you make your clients feel when providing your services. And this office I have to say, NAILED IT!!

I was new to Vegas and was going to another place for 1.5 years and suddenly was told for the 1st time I needed 5 fillings immediately …since decay is slow going and I was used to getting advice it needed to be done within the next yr back home I paid out of pocket to see Dr. Nielson who said I needed none. Bonus the gorgeous mountain views from the exam rooms! I can tell they only do necessary work here and a great job….i had noticed incomplete cleanings at the other place too..not at this practice! I called because I found you on my insurance website. I called to confirm insurance, the receptionist quickly said you don't take anything with that name. I asked her to confirm as it goes by several different names and that's how I found you. She didn't take any insurance info from me, she took my number and said she would follow up. I came to this dental office for a routine cleaning, x-rays, and dental check-up. It was my first time visiting this office and dentist. This place was recommended by word of mouth. After reading the glowing reviews, I decided to give it a try despite my fear of the dentist.

From the moment I was greeted by the office staff at the desk to the time I was finished, it was a pleasurable experience. I know pleasurable experience and going to the dentist don't typically go together, but it wasn't bad at all. I would have to say it was the best experience I have ever had with any dentist's office.

Amazing experience. I am scared of going to the dentist to put it mildly. I had the best experience of my life here at The Tooth Family Dental. Dr. Neilson and his entire staff were insanely friendly. Worried about my well being and comfort the entire time I was there. I had a root canal procedure and I'm amazed how well it went. Not only did he take his time and make sure I was good. He made me a second crown because he wasn't 100% satisfied with the matching color. It took time away fro. Him and his staff to go above and beyond to make sure I looked and felt the bes .

The equipment they have here is also cutting edge. Days of waiting a week to finish the job are over.

It was my first time going into this Dentist office and I loved it . They sent me the paperwork to fill out online so when I showed up I was walked straight into a dentist chair. We waited maybe two minutes. The Tooth Family Dental was literally the best experience I have had at the dentist. I came in to replace a broken crown. The staff was all very kind and treated me like I was a valued customer, which surprised me. Even the dentist thanked me for choosing them and said he appreciated my business. They had modern dental scanning equipment that was less intrusive than devices I have encountered at other offices. I believe this better equipment and use of technology is what allowed them to see my problem quickly and provide me with a new crown the same visit. I thought for sure I would have to return after this initial exam, but I was told they could remove what was left of the old crown and replace with a better one the same visit.

They have a specialist on hand who deals with the billing and insurance companies, who came to me and explained the costs and what my insurance would cover allowing me to make an informed decision before the work was performed. This was much appreciated. The dentist who performed the work was very kind and helped me feel quite comfortable. She numbed me up good and when I did feel a slight pinch, she immediately stopped and provided me with more local anesthetic which prevented any further pain. The new crown was made on site and installed about an hour later; they gave me the remote to the ceiling mounted TV and I comfortably watched Netflix while waiting. The crown is a perfect fit and feels great, I couldn't be more pleased.

This is now the only dental office for my family and me and I have already recommended them to my friends and family. So nice to be treated with care and like a valuable person rather than just another insurance paycheck.

My son is an autistic adult and had many bad experiences in the past with other dentists. I needed a dentist due to a pain issue. My issue resolved even before I arrived because it was sinus related. I still feel compelled to write this review because I still went to the appointment because I needed a new dentist. From the moment I called until I left after my appointment I felt nothing but caring from each person. I am so glad I found them aand I have already scheduled my cleaning to go back. I had a syncopal episode and cracked my front tooth. The staff here were extremely compassionate and kind every step of the way. They scheduled an appointment for the very next day, completed the assessment without inducing pain (had to work around inflammation and sutures), and came up with a thorough treatment plan. The Tooth is my third dentist since moving to Las Vegas and I have been so pleasantly surprised. The hygienists remember you and I’ve always been seen promptly at my appointment time and out quickly. I haven’t had any surprise billing issues with them, and I don’t feel like I’m being recommended work that’s not needed. Very happy overall!

The Tooth Family did a great job on my Deep Cleaning. Went smooth and even after the numbing medicine wore off felt pleasant for the rest of the day. They also cleaned my son's teeth and he's 6, he was really nervous but know he knows the importance of flossing! Recommend them for all and we will not go anywhere else.

Their office is super unorganized and unprofessional! So in November they had advised that I should get a couple larger fillings crowned, nothing urgent that couldn’t have waited until January. Their staff had already called my insurance to verify coverage amounts before my appt was even over and had amounts on paper ready for me as I was checking out but apparently got it wrong and I ended up having to pay way more than anticipated! Not cool when I could’ve waited 2 months when insurance started all over in January. To top it off I didn’t even know about it until my next cleaning appt. I asked the manager to check into why I had this balance. And in the mean time They failed to give us a courtesy reminder call for my daughters appts, clearly because I had this balance due now. The manager was very rude and instead of apologizing said you ultimately made the appt and it’s your responsibility to keep track of them not them and said yes it was their fault with the mixup and took $500 off but ultimately it was still my obligation to pay what was due before they schedule anymore appts. If this is how you run your business you will never have recurring clients! Just beware and apparently double check with your insurance yourself because they have no clue what they are doing there! Apparently I wasn’t a customer worth saving and making things right with.

I have just finished my 4th appointment on 4-27-2023 with France Nielson DDS at The Tooth Family Dental office. My daughter recommended this business after having dental work done in November 2022. We both have homes in Centennial Hills not far from this dental business. I picked up patient information paperwork and completed it for my wife's and my first appointment on 12-14-2022. I have had a full spectrum of dental work done in my first four appointments including: periodontal scaling, root canal surgery, two new crowns and a tooth extracted. All dental work has been done by Dr. Nielson and his staff in a very professional manner. He and his staff are very personable.

The former receptionists Kayleigh and Allyson were very helpful and friendly. The new receptionists Gisele and Alita are also very helpful and friendly. Dental Hygienist Ashlyn was very efficient in performing the scaling operation. Maryann, scheduled my appointments and provided me with a treatment plan with cost estimates covering a proposed nine visits since my first visit. She collected my portion of the fees not covered by dental insurance. This treatment plan gives me good visibility for future required dental work spaced out throughout this year. My next appointment is on 6-15-2023. I wholeheartedly recommend this dental practice for anyone looking for excellent professional service.

On my 5th thru 7th appointments, I had two fillings, a new crown and cleaning done. I used my entire yearly insurance benefits this year. I scheduled 6 appointments with Maryann for 2024 starting in January when my insurance renews.

We just started coming here. Had a tricky filling done yesterday. A really positive experience from start to finish. Great job team. He is capable and thoughtful in his approach. The anesthesia went well too. Once it wore off and I could feel the area where he worked I didn't feel any pain or soreness which is honestly impressive. I'm grateful!

It’s clean, close to my home & dentist is good. Closed on the weekends now kinda the reason I started to go there in the first place. And they forgot to tell me they closed on the weekends now so I had to change my schedule for it. Guessing they keep losing their hygienist cause I keep getting different ones. I can't say loud enough how much 'I LOVE' going to the Durango office of The Tooth Family Dental. I'm fairly new to the Las Vegas NV area, and urgently needed to find an accommodating dental practice. The entire staff at the Durango location eased my reservations and have been professional and pleasant during each of my visits. Doctor Nielson is awesome, funny and has gentle hands performing his craft. Last week, I was attended to by the kindest Dental Hygienist that I've ever met named Jada. The regular Dental Hygienist named Tess has the sweetest disposition and is so calming to the patients in her care. Oh, and let me not forget the to mention Cayleigh, who is always extremely helpful to explain procedures, schedule appointments and reassure billing information. I send a huge 'thank you' to everyone at the Durango office for the best dental care a person could ask for. Peace and Blessings to you all.

I have been a client of Dr. France Nielson for two years, from the very first day, I was treated with respect, exactly what I expect.

Many thanks to Dr. Nielson and the working staff were amazingly professional and hospitable. I felt completely comfortable throughout any services completed. For "example" SURGERY performed on February 28,2023 (extraction of erupted tooth) was flawless and shockingly painless, absolutely no pain, exactly any client wants.

In general, the entire team is very responsible, honest and very friendly. The girls at the front desk are very polite and know their job. Thank you that in our life, there are such wonderful people and a beautiful smile to ALL. I highly recommend them.

I had an appointment to re-cement a crown that had fallen off. Sophia at the Front Desk was so helpful in getting me in promptly. Since I was a new patient, I was looking forward to establishing a relationship with a dentist here in Vegas. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Sophia and the experience went uphill from there, I was very comfortable and relaxed in a new environment. Dr. Neilson and his staff were thorough, compassionate and professional. I walked out of their office relaxed and looking forward to my next appointment for dental work.

I had a chip eating injury, broke my tooth under a cap. Stopped in to see if it was a dental issue or a surgery issue. Dr. Nielson took the time to come to the waiting room and take a look and assured me that he could help. The front office staff was great at making sure my insurance was accepted and got me scheduled quickly. On my appointment time I was promptly started and prepared for tooth extraction. Dr. Nielson and his assistant took care of the tooth (removed it and cleaned out the socket) and then fit me for a temporary tooth (retainer style). I was then referred to oral surgeon to complete my care. Every person I encountered in the office was great, friendly, professional. I am not much for going to doctors or dentists, but I will return to this office.

I'm a huge chicken when it comes to the dentist and hadn't been for several years:( They didn't judge and didn't pressure me to have lots of work done.
