They are always so great at the office. They’re so great that they are booked solid and super busy. My only issue is that you wait an hour at least for your appointment and then you wait another half an hour in the waiting room but it’s definitely well worth the wait they are cordial experienced, and Susie makes you feel so comfortable. I don’t typically leave reviews for medical appointments, but my experience with Justin Cottrell, PA-C, and his staff was exceptional and absolutely deserves recognition.
My appointment was scheduled for 8:30 AM today. I arrived at 8:10 AM, was called back by 8:20 AM, and was completely finished and out the door by 8:40 AM. The entire process was efficient without ever feeling rushed.
Justin’s assistant (wish I remembered her name) was great, incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Justin himself was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely listened to my concerns. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, made sure I felt heard, and provided everything I needed before I left and it was thorough.

What stood out most was how friendly, helpful, and respectful everyone in the office was. It’s rare to find a medical practice that combines efficiency, expertise, and such outstanding patient care.

I would recommend Justin Cottrell, PA-C, and his entire staff to literally anyone looking for dermatology care. This was one of the best medical office experiences I’ve ever had, and I left feeling confident, informed, and well cared for.

Absolutely bewildered by how everything was handled at this establishment.

Had a skin tag on my nose removed, leaving a big crater on the side of my nose. I was insured that there would be minimal scarring. I did all the proper recommended after care steps. After 2 years down the road what do you know, this big crater is still there.

they tried billing me this weird invoice to that should of been covered by my insurance, i also called months after procedure to tell them what's going on with my nose and they told me to email them. after multiple follow ups with them, i never heard back from them.

Then years later they call me about this balance left...fine, but they i asked about the emails they sent again and finally the Billing Manager who is not a dermatologist Ivette G, gets back to me and wanted to play lawyer and pull up the policy i signed pointing out the disfigurement clause.

So, basically what y'all are saying is if we mess up your face it's not our fault and we will take no accountability for it? nice real comforting.

I'll never step foot in this place again.

I’ve been a patient here for a few years and was originally prescribed a long-term prescription I have been stable on for over two years. When I recently requested my refill through my pharmacy, they let me know they had to contact the dermatologist’s office for authorization. That was fine.

However, nearly two weeks went by without any response. After a week of waiting, I followed up with my pharmacy and was told they had sent the request but had not heard back. I then called the dermatologist’s office directly—twice over two days (Thursday and Friday, during posted business hours)—and left voicemails. I didn’t receive a call back until the following Monday.

When they finally returned my call—almost two weeks after the original refill request—I was told I needed to schedule an appointment before they could authorize the refill. I understand that appointments may be required for ongoing prescriptions. What was frustrating is that this was not communicated earlier. Had I been informed promptly, I could have scheduled an appointment sooner and avoided running out of my medication.

By the time they contacted me, I had already been without my prescription for over a week. I was offered an early morning appointment the next day, which I couldn’t attend due to work, and a few other times that same week that also conflicted with my full-time schedule. The only alternative was to wait until the beginning of April (it is currently late February), which felt unreasonable given the circumstances.

What disappointed me most was the lack of timely communication and empathy. I would have been more than willing to come in sooner had I been told that was required. Instead, the delay in response left me without medication and scrambling to accommodate last-minute appointment options.

This experience was frustrating and has made me reconsider whether I should seek care from a practice that handles refill requests with more urgency and clearer communication.

Arrived on time. Was called to the back minutes after my arrival. Dr Cottrell came a few minutes later. We had a nice chat about my concerns. I had my first visit with Kim Dahlberg at the Post Road location and was very impressed. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I cannot recommend Clara Sewell, PA-C enough. I came in with a long-term cyst that had unfortunately become painfully infected. To my surprise, Clara treated it right away. I know this unexpected procedure put her behind schedule for the rest of her day, but she never made me feel rushed.

Her bedside manner is truly excellent—she made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire procedure. Removing it felt like a literal weight off my shoulders, and I am so relieved and incredibly grateful to finally have it taken care of.

If you are looking for a provider who is both highly skilled and genuinely compassionate, Clara is the one!

I’ve been a patient of Thomas Dermatology for over 10 years. For the past two years I’ve had Clara Sewell as my PA and I really like her. I live in Lake Las Vegas and drive all the way to Post Road location because I like Clara Sewell and they always been on time with appointments, but the last several appointments have been extremely late and today I waited an hour before I was seen by my doctor. I plan on going to the St Rose location in the future because driving the additional miles extra time is not worth it!

Dr. Brent Michaels at the Thomas Dermatology Las Vegas Post location has been my dermatologist for the last few years. He’s very easy to talk to, attentive to your issues, explains things clearly and knowledgeable, and does a good thorough body exam compared to previous dermatologists that I’ve had. The office staff is always nice and helpful and this dermatology group also has good cosmetic treatments and products. I would highly recommend this doctor and practice.

I went to see about a toe that had been like bruised or blood under the toe for about 2 months and wanted to make sure it was not melanoma. The care and provider were great. However, the operation leaves a lot to be desired. It is run like a factory. By the time I saw my provider, it was one hour past my appointment time. I heard other patients also complaining about the same thing. Perhaps you want to allow more time for the appointments, and lessen the load by a few per provider per day. Greed and money aren’t everything. You charge us if we are late or cancel. Maybe you want to respect our time as well, instead of not caring, and forcing us to tolerate it. Now I have to strongly consider finding a new dermatology group.

I was referred to see PA Jordan. The check in process was pretty standard, wish medical history can be filled out online electronically before the appt. I was asked if a student can come in with Jordan, which I said yes to. The young lady who brought me to the back also came in the room taking notes. I was there for skin care check so I was in paper gown. I didn’t enjoy having 3 people watch me almost naked during the exam. I was told twice that certain things aren’t covered by insurance, but I didn’t asked to get anything done, just expressing my concern. While waiting in paper gown there was a lot of socializing right outside of my room pretty loud which felt unprofessional.

Word of caution, Thomas Dermotology is not a best practice clinic. They implore unscrupulous and deceptive billing accounts department. My insurance Anthem BC/BS, was preauthorized and paid for initial consultation visit in 2023. Here it is 2026, 3 years hence, and they are threatening collection for balance due. My next steps is filing a complaint with the office of professional standards, AMA. My saving grace, is that I didn't have any procedure performed by them. I can only imagine the outcome.

Dr Devina Mehta is excellent , both in her patient interaction, and in her fund of knowledge. However, the wait is intolerable. I had an 8:45 appointment, and arrived on time, and sat half-naked in a very cold room for over 30 minutes. This is anything but good sevrvice, and should be remedied. There is a long standing myth in medicine that the doctor's time is invaluable, and the patient's time is worthless. This is far from true, and especially false in my own case.

I called to ask about a starting price point for dermal fillers and to see what filler brands are offered. The lady I spoke to did not offer me much help as she was not knowledgeable of the filler brands they use in-house. She also kept telling me that she can not discuss pricing over the phone because I need a consult. However, I have been calling all around town, and so far, everyone else has given me available brands and starting price points per syringe. I tried to clarify that I am just looking for a starting price point, and then she told me that it is $600 to $1,000 per syringe.

It felt odd because so far, other dermatology offices and med spas have been very transparent about starting price ranges and brands they offer.

It was prompt, just didnt like the front desk service which doesnt know how much they are charging the pt. They just tell the client to pay their standard copay which is $50 without looking at your insurance then will not change it when you dont correct it and then when you do, the comment after was “I guess I can take )$15. Just imagine how many clients fell for this if they dont pay attention to what they are supposed to be paying only for the Copay. The worst is, its like its nothing, did not even apologize. Otherwise, the rest of the service was great.

I was not even able to get my daughter in for an appointment due to them saying the couldn’t accommodate an afternoon appointment on the days I needed until April at the earliest. Okay, that’s fine, I moved some things around and called back for a morning appointment. I get told the same damn thing. Then all of sudden there’s an appointment on Thursday at the time I needed, but it took three different people to answer the simple question of, would they see my daughter even though my drivers license is expired. Finally get told no which is ridiculous in itself and also the very first doctors office to tell me they wouldn’t my daughter over an expired id. Nothing more than that.
None of them seem to know what they are doing or how to book appointments. All of them needed to ask someone else for the answers for everything.

Jordan and the staff are great! I went to the other dermatologist in the same office park - because of a referral by a new new primary care - and they were garbage. The other dermatologist missed issues and Jordan found them right away and scalpelled them away. Jordan has great recommendations and is very informative. Most doctors in Vegas are agents of the insurance companies and Thomas Dermatology is not one of those practices.

I was in the lobby waiting for my appointment, and the front desk lady was so rude and condescending to another patient. She wouldn't let her into her appointment that she came in for this morning until she paid her $50 balance from missing her last appointment. The lady explained that she didnt have her credit card with her right now, and the front desk lady said she'll have to reschedule for February. . . . The front desk person was so rude, and about made the patient cry in front of the entire lobby. I went up to the counter and paid the $50 for the patient so she could have her appointment.

This is NOT how a medical practice should be ran. It was embarrassing for the patient and embarrassing for your practice.

My husband owns an oral surgery practice and they would never treat patients the way I witnessed in your office today.

Because you were unwilling to be flexible and understanding with your patients I paid for someone else's bill just so they could get the treatment they need.

I really hope this gets addressed internally.

Made an early appt, because I can’t take much time off work. I figured they wouldn’t be running behind in the morning. Waited a couple months for this appt. I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Don’t indicate that you are not interested in cosmetic procedures, because you will sit in the lobby for about an hour. Thirty-five minutes past my appointment time, I told the receptionist I needed to reschedule. She said they were just about to call me back. That was not true. After more waiting, I had to leave but I’m glad they were diligent about collecting my copay. Apparently, if you have a skin disorder/disease that is not cosmetic, you get to wait.

Dr. spoon is wonderful but unfortunately the staff is horrible to have to work with. I inquired about an appointment for my daughter but never scheduled it. I later received a bill for $50 for a no-show fee. I called them to ask why that I never scheduled the fee and they said we can’t talk to you. We can only talk to your daughter since she’s over 18. My daughter never made the appointment had no idea what was going
and they said it didn’t matter. They were still going to charge us. I will not ever return there It’s not about the money it’s about the principle of the idea that we never made an appointment and we’re being charged $50 when my daughter’s never even spoken to these people.

Arrived before my appointment. I was greeted and treated really nice. After paperwork was done and was called about 3 minutes after I sat down. The Dr. came in, I explained why was there. Had an appointment here last month where they seen me over an hour late...I waited with no issue. Today, I was running late and attempted to call but got their automated system. When I arrived I was told my appointment was cancelled due to a no-show. When I pointed out the fact that the very last time I was there I had to wait an additional hour since the provider was running late...that was ignored. I spoke with the manager Janet and she also refused to acknowledge the fact that I waited an additional hour to be seen at my last visit....but they were not willing to accommodate me being late today. She saw no issue with this. Very unprofessional and I should have chose not to work with them when they wasted my time at my last visit.

I saw Dr. Sewell on September 5 for a follow up appointment and she was pleased that I had noticeable improvement from my previous appointment. I will call her for another follow up appointment in 6 months.
Overall, I was happy with the outcome. Dr. Sewell has a very short waiting time and is very professional.

I saw Claire, and 5 stars to her for listening to me babble on forever.
But she listened and really got to the point of my concern.
She then put together a plan that was very specific to me,as opposed to some cookie cutter "plan"

the worst experience in my life, I brought a 4-year-old child for an examination, no one touched him, they took a few pictures of the skin, and supposedly the doctor will look at the pictures and give a diagnosis... the examination room doesn't even have a bed so that the patient can get comfortable and show what the problem is, I asked the doctor why they don't use a lamp, the answer was that the lamp is locked and we don't have a key , if I had brought a dog, maybe they would have treated him better than the child, they are exclusively focused on how sell cosmetics, botox, do some plastic surgery and take money, they are not interested in people with skin problems....

(11 March 2026) and once again left completely satisfied. He is thorough and competent and also very personable. If the review had ten stars I would give it!
My wife and I both use this practice. I don’t give high ratings unless they are deserved. We have never been disappointed with the quality of the medical service delivered and that remains. The professional medical staff, their assistant’s are always thorough, and professional in every way and they are also friendly and never too busy to take a question or explain a procedure. The office staff reflects the same. We are greeted on arrival and promptly provided with any paperwork which needs to be updated.

Quick and easy. I brought my two year old in for a mole check and an eczema consult. The front desk was efficient. They were training someone so it took a while, but we got through it. Due to scheduling and the need to be seen sooner than what was available for my previous physician, I had to change doctors. How grateful I am for that! Dr. Michaels is great! He listens, really listens, to everything. He gave me a sound action plan and took note of everything. He sent me home with some great samples that have in just two days, already started to work. We arrived for our annual exam and found the friendly reception. We waited a reasonable time for our exam to begin. I was led the comfortable exam room and provided an update to the physician’s assistant to go the preliminary check in. Another short wait and the doctor and her assistant arrives to complete the exam. A full body scan can offer some uncomfortable moments, but the
Doctor and assistant acted professionally and cleared me for another year. We did opt to have a growth on my forehead frozen and that went as explained , And we were on our way. The staff here are certainly caring for us and looking for our best interest.

Called to schedule appt. She got it all set up for this week on Friday. Then she asks for my credit card. I asked if there was a more secure way to provide it rather than over the phone like this. She said I could make it online and type my info in there. Great! So I hang up, immediately go online to make appt. Select May 23rd, type all the info I just gave her. Enter my credit card number. Click Book Appointment. And am met with Sorry your appointment is gone. Go back to page, and nothing now until July. Why couldn't you have held the appointment for me or said something on the phone?! Had I known I wouldn't have gotten off the phone. She could have booked appt. without and then sent me a link to provide the info. Or I give you my info in person, I could have drove it there today. I called back and sat waiting on ringing phone for 22 minutes. No answer. Very disappointed. Was excited and thought we were in the clear. Guess it's back to searching I go.

I just had my second visit with Dr Corbett and both times have been a pleasure. She's very easy going and accommodating, listened to the few concerns I had, put me at ease and offered options for taking care of them. Regarding the entire process: every doctor or dentist visit there are always a pile of forms that I have to re-sign every time I show up, I was quite happy there were just a couple of quick signatures when I showed up to my app't.
