This is my first visit at this office.
The front desk was very nice and friendly helping me.
I got called in for Xrays taken. The xray tech was a very young girl and started the process right away without checking for pregnancy status nor provide me a shield for radiation protection. The one biggest concern of this job that people ignored protecting patients safety.
After got my xrays done, I was waiting to called to be seen. I got appointment with Dr. DUNN but I got seen by a PA for some reason. He was very kind ans listening to my concern. I asked for some home exercises materials for my issues that was seen for. But I did not get it at the end probably the MA forgot it.

I had the opportunity to see Dr Dunn last week. I’ve had a condition where there is significant damage in my neck that has been problematic for quite some time. Dr Dunn was immediately compassionate kind and expressed and incredible knowledge and skill set of my particular problem… It was a tremendous relief to see him and find somebody who finally understood what I was going through, not only that but how to repair it. He’s somebody that has truly dedicated his life to service. I finally felt at ease, I felt confident, I believe I will be out of pain quite soon….

Dr. Dunn is only one that noticed the tear in my disk. Concentra radiologist sure missed it. To the Dr. 10 seconds to spot it. Don’t waste your time with Concentra. They seem to miss important details in diagnostic images. I think very highly of Dr. Dunn.

Check in people were very friendly and I only waited 5 min.
The P.A. brought me back and listened to my concerns. He then uploaded my Imagery . Then took me back to get some X-rays.
After that Dr Dunn came in reviewed and discussed treatment options.

I was a patient of another pain management clinic from May 2025. They did nothing for me during my 4 visits with them, except have me wait 90 mins to see a PA that was so unorgsnized and changed my treatment plan at each visit. I suffer from intense pain from sciatica where I am unable to walk, sleep or squat. Life has been miserable, difficult and painful. I told my PCP I was not happy with them and wanted to see another pain or spine doctor for my sciatica Last week I ran across Desert Orthopaedic and Pain Management as I was driving home. Called my PCP and he sent a referral to them. I was immediately called by them and scheduled. Everyone I spoke to were so nice and friendly. I was seen the following week. The office asks building was nice, clean and modern. The exam rooms were very clean. I was seen by Dr. Dunn's PA and his assistant. They were so organized and friendly and thorough. They had my MRI on the computer screen. Allowed me to view it. Explained what was going on with my spine and suggested medication and continued PT right now for my treatment with an option to do cortisone injections if the meds don't help. I was in and out within 45 mins. I have started the meds and feel optimistic that my pain will get better. Day 1 I feel a little relief already. My only disappointment was I did not get to meet Dr. Dunn during my 1st visit. Otherwise I loved my experience at Desert Orthopaedic. I highly recommend them for all your Orthopaedic or pain needs. ***** 5 stars!

I had some problems reaching someone over the phone to make an appointment, but outside of that, every level of service was great on my first consultation. The front desk staff and nurse were very attentive. Dr. Dunn was on time, he made sure to introduce himself and ask me about my condition. It was clear to me that he had already looked at my MRI prior to coming in since he gave me his opinion right after going through my symptoms. Overall, I am very pleased with the level of service and care. Obviously, it is too soon to make a determination on the quality of care, but it was definitely a good first impression.

Odd because that’s what they are supposed to do right? My lower back locked up and I was barely able to walk. I was in so much pain from just getting there, I was miserable and I’m pain at 9 on 1-10 scale. After X-rays I was treated to a shot in the rear end that made me relax and bring the pain down to a tolerable 4. I was able to walk and recover at home. Feeling much better 3 days later. I was referred to see Dr.Dunn to address my back pain and have cortisone shot due to spinal stenosis. front desk are fine. I was put in a room met with MA then met another guy and not Dr.Dunn, not sure if he is NP or PA who just came in and started talking and telling me that they have to refer me somewhere else because they are busy. I was upset for i had to leave work early for the said appt, i was in pain and only to be told they cannot accommodate me and needs to be referred to somewhere else that up to know i have not heard anything about.

Flawless processv from the scheduling to checking in, nurses, the doctor, and check out. Upbeat, courteous, polite, and professional. Clean-very clean facility! Didn't wait for hours, was in, saw the nurse immediately and seen the Dr. Shortly after. Very mindful of social distancing and protection, made everything very comfortable and seamless.

As for Dr. DUNN... I Felt he was genuine, he listened to my concerns and responded with those concerns in mind... which is rare. He made some suggestions that I found helpful and took the time to explain various options while addressing my fears and reservations.

Highly recommend Dr. Dunn, I went for a second opinion and left feeling grateful for the insight he shared with me.

In 2011 Dr. Dunn did my spinal surgeries and changed my life. I had been hurt at work. If I could leave zero stars for your office I would. I was told since I didn't see a doctor,
needed an MRI first, I would be billed the next time I came in by the doctor's assistant. I got to the checkout and had to pay $50 to see nobody. Plus, staff was super confusing about making me see two different doctors on different days only. They had originally told me my appointments would be on the same day. I came in and was told I needed a separate appointment for the following week. They booked me another appointment for the next week, even though I already had an appointment in their system and didn't learn that until I was checking out. I canceled all my appointments and will never come back here.

I have been going to doctors in this group for many years and this was the worst. My first visit the doctor did not see me just his PA who may have been qualified to see me but he was no doctor. I did not get ant diagnosis and a very incomplete script for therapy. I will never ask to see Dr. Dunn. I will look for a different doctor with group. It was my understanding that first appointments with a doctor, the doctor would check me. I am very disheartened and disgusted with this treatment. I didn’t see the doctor. The women working helped extensively. The doctor who looked nothing liked this picture did not know what he was doing. He looked like a cop. His preliminary questioning was poor. The exam did not address all planes of the questionable areas. He misread the lateral vback X-ray showing fracture and spinal compression. I’m glad I have to record everything because I’m deaf.
