When I met Dr. K it was under the circumstances of giving me a second opinion from a previous surgery I had and was still having pain and complications from. When I tell you the amount of genuine care and compassion he continually expressed throughout my entire week+ stay in the hospital ( he arranged for me to have a beautiful suite on a floor where I had the absolute best care with ZERO complaints for the nursing staff, just praise.) I have a developing bunion and a mysterious pain in the tip of my toe. I went to a foot doctor previously and he fumbled around a drawer filled with junk and tried to find a pair of things to wrap around my toes. Sent me on my way. Contrast that with my experience here. Greeted by friendly people, then xray, then ultrasound, then an explanation of what’s going on followed by a steroid shot then a mild of my feet for custom orthotics. Dr. Kurvilla is hands down the best you will ever find. I left that appointment feeling so good with way less stress about how to move forward and my pain was gone. My fiancé had been in a Head on collision where all bad airbags had been deployed. His foot/angle were huge at the scene and he was taken to a local hospital. The hospital only x-rayed his tibia to make sure it wasn’t broken and provided generic antibiotics. Having known Dr. K as such a detailed doctor and being a PT for 24 years, I knew where to take him. The wound from the airbags, the swelling from the impact and the risk of nerve damage and cellulitis was just the beginning of what my fiancé could’ve been facing. Dr. K had an appointment right away. When it comes to personal injury events, you can’t wait weeks to get in b/c you need that documentation & Dr. K’s Staff understands that. He looked at his injury and went above and beyond immediately. The antibiotics from the hospital had ended, and the wound did not look very well. Dr. K immediately addressed the wound, gave him the appropriate antibiotics, monitored the nerve damage and braced the ankle, which had a high risk of multiple tears. The primary doctor at the urgent care understood the path Dr. K was taking and supported his decisions with additional diagnostics. Dr. K Recognized The complexity of the issues and understood the details needed for this injury. My fiancé lost time w/ many of the things he loves to do such as archery, hiking and competitive mountain biking. Dr. K recognized all of that needed to be documented for his case. I have a lot of health issues so I’ve been to a lot of doctors - a majority unfortunately have always felt like subpar care where I have to wait months for an appointment only for the doctor to rush and barely spend 10 minutes with me. I am so happy to say that wasn’t the case with this clinic and Dr. Kuruvilla. Initially when I arrived for my appointment, I spent an hour waiting past my appointment time to be seen, but once I was able to be seen I understood why. I will happily wait as long as I need to so long as I receive quality care. Dr. Kuruvilla and the team took their time to fully understand my concerns and performed an X-ray and ultrasound to look at my injury. Both of my sons play sports and this past time seeing Dr K was for an impact fracture and torn ligament that my oldest son suffered. The rest of the medical staff at AOSMLV, despite being kind, are completely incompetent.

The past three referrals they said they would send for me were never sent. As a result weeks of my time were wasted. This is despite me communicating very clearly about everybody’s role.

An additional frustration with this practice is how long you have to wait on hold to speak to someone, And that medical assistants are never available on the phone and do not return voicemails

And the final unacceptable experience, is if you complete a contact us email online, you will receive an automated reply, but nothing beyond that.

We are from Bullhead City. We had a local doctor put two screws in my fifth metatarsal. About two months into my recovery from that, I was back in tears from the pain. My doctor would not address the fact that my little toe was huge and I was in a lot of pain. Only when my husband found Dr. K through our pain management. We live in Bullhead City, now we drive to LasVegas. It’s worth the drive. Dr.K ordered X-rays and at CT scan .We discovered that I had another break just above the two screws. I’m in about a month using the bone stimulator and I’m went from a 10+ pain to an eight Pain. Dr. K says that it is healing and looking good. Not only do I have another break, I have CRPS in both feet. Via Las Vegas and Dr. Kuruvilla!

I found Dr. Kuruvilla through my health care provider and couldn’t have been happier with my experiences with he and his staff. Going into unfamiliar situations can be intimidating and in this case it wasn’t as he and his team were extremely accommodating and competent in every aspect of my visits including the diagnosis and successful treatments of my issues. I have been to both offices that Dr. K Works at. My experience has been the same with both. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful And ask for Dr. K I just can’t say enough about him. I have been seeing a previous doctor for four months. It’s been brutal and long. I switched doctors and now seeing Dr. K who not only listen to what I had to say, but took me seriously had an MRI done and found out that I will have to have surgery. Surgeries never great news, but I finally have an answer of what is wrong and now we have an action plan to correct it to get me out of pain so I can get on with my life.

Update:

Dr. K has been so gracious throughout the healing process and always following-up and making sure I’m healing correctly. I see him every 2-3 weeks from taking the stitches out, to monitoring healing and next steps of what I can and cannot do, like submerging my foot in water. I’m in the process now where my incision has healed and it’s time for scar removal. Dr. K recommended some scar tape to wear sort of like a clear, light bandage that’s improving the scar visual. I just saw him yesterday and did some laser treatments on the scar and have another appointment for more laser in 3 weeks!

I really like Dr. K. He's a good guy who has a genuine interest in helping people. He listens, explains things clearly, and always has a detailed plan. I met him many years ago when I broke my right foot. Luckily, I didn't need surgery. Fast forward to now, my right foot heel had a cyst/nodule that the dermatologist removed twice, but recommended seeing my podiatrist. I knew exactly who to call - Dr. K! After doing an in-office MRI and some consults, we came up with a treatment plan that required general anesthesia. I needed clearance by my primary care doctor and had the surgery last week. I'm healing up well and felt great afterward. Dr. K was able to get everything out and made sure to find all those stubborn roots and burn them so nothing grows back. Regarding scheduling and ordering meds prior to surgery, the staff is always accommodating. Bre helped graciously schedule my surgery and even accommodated a change due to a car issue. I'm looking forward to removing my bandages next week and having a new and improved foot!!

I can’t thank Dr. Thomas Kuruvilla enough! I had a painful tear in my shoulder and was worried I’d need surgery. Instead, Dr. Kuruvilla recommended a stem cell treatment, and the results have been amazing. My pain is virtually gone, and I didn’t have to go through the long recovery that surgery would’ve required.

He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely comfortable with the process. The entire team was professional, kind, and supportive from start to finish.

Hi my name is Loreto saludares, I was referred to Dr. THOMMAN KURUVILLA from my lawyer Brian Boyer for a second opinion cause the first doctor that I went to Keven disparsgad I felt like he wasn’t really he answered my questions but he wasn’t doing nothing for me they was just dragging there feet . But nit doctor Thomman kurvilla help me the moment he walk into the office room he is such a good doctor. He already ordered me to do x-ray before he even got in the room and then he brought a ultrasound He asked me where was my pain and I showed him My back of my ankle, the front of my ankle all the sides and he went ahead Found out that there is problems with my left ankle from this accident I had recently he said that there was terrors in And he’s ordering me to have an MRI done, and I told him about my lower lumbar spine on the left side after the accident That yeah he will talk to my lawyer They’re sending me to MRI to get that done. All I can say is that I feel sorry and he even offered that about a new boot because the other doctor gave me a boot that all the way to my knee and he had said first of all Boot that you’re wearing I told him, yeah that’s what he prescribed to me for me to go papa And go get a tall boot Injury when I’m going through right now, I have a chair, not a So he, the other doctor ordered me wrong things like the wrong boot and just All pain more worse so I’m happy that I found a good doctor like him Doctor Thomman kuruvilla.
