I am absolutely disturbed! First time I came here I was here for almost 3 hrs.... they apologized and acted like the are behind...
well today we sit down... tons of people here again... the ladies next to me were upset cuz waiting so long... so I asked them how long and again they said they are running behind.... these people are so greedy they way over book have people wait and wait as more people keep walking in.... the place is jam packed y?? If we are sitting waiting do they need to book this way??? and don't care how long u are waiting! So greedy and selfish... not to mention their little kids room is still not open.....
Place packed and family had to stand while more just walked in... why?

I had a very concerning experience at this dental office and do not suggest it.

From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff had an unwelcoming and dismissive attitude. Things only got worse once we were taken to the back. We were told only one parent could be present, despite having three young children with us, which made no sense and created unnecessary stress.

The most alarming issue involved my six-year-old daughter. She was taken back for x-rays, returned, and completed her cleaning. Later, another staff member came in insisting she needed x-rays again. I explained she had already had them done, but I was met with attitude and completely dismissed. They took my daughter anyway.

Instead of addressing my concerns, multiple staff members attempted to tell me she had never been taken back there before, essentially denying what had already happened. When I asked my daughter directly, she confirmed she had already been in that room. No one could give me a clear answer about where my child had been taken the first time or why.

While she was in the back the second time, I could hear staff questioning her without a parent present—something I am absolutely not okay with. I went back there myself and told them to stop.

This lack of transparency and accountability is extremely concerning when it comes to the care of children. On top of that, there have been ongoing issues since the visit. I am being contacted about charges I do not owe, and they have still not returned my ID that was taken at check-in. I have been unable to get in contact with anyone to resolve this. When I went to try and retrieve my ID in person, the office was closed, despite it being within business hours, and there was a notice posted that their business license had expired on 3/31/26. My children’s appointments were on 4/23/26. That’s all I’ll note on that…

Overall, the experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and deeply concerning as a parent. I strongly recommend other families think twice before bringing their children here.

We had a bad experience today. The front desk girls are very unprofessional, unpleasant, unwelcoming and they looked so clueless to what they were doing. They didn’t know how to answer simple questions. They really turned our family off from ever coming back. I canceled all future appointments.

Horrible place! You always hear kids crying in the back. Only makes kids more nervous or make you think why? They prefer for parents not to go in the back with child. I would still go in with my child. My child was getting work done she would say ouch & that it was hurting her & they wouldn't listen to her. I had to step in & tell them something for them to listen to my child. After that she was fine.

And its so frustrating it was so hard finding them in the first place or even a number to call I'm literally in the doctor's office calling them back to back to back so that they can give me a dental form for the doctors to fill out so my child can get his work done and they will not answer the phone I literally called them 10 times in a row and they just kept hanging up in my face the phone was literally hanging up dropping the call whoever is behind that desk does it take the client seriously I've never experienced this with any dentist Wesley for my child who is three I'm leaving this review only because I'm upset that I can't even get through to the dentist who I was assigned to but will be changing very very unprofessional

This dentist is just fine beside one dental assistant here. I been coming here for 2 years and never had this issue with any other dental assistant till today. This dental assistant named christine was terrible with my daughter. She simply doesn’t know how to work with children. She was very forceful on my daughter and her Verbiage was terrible. There’s certain ways to work with children and she simply doesn’t even do the bare minimum. She told my lil one to stop
Making noises cuz she knew it didn’t her but then again my daughter threw up in her mouth and that’s never happened ever with any dentists doctor or assistant in her life.
All imma say is the doctor is great just would most definitely never let christine around working with your child.
Every other assistant has been just fine with my lil one beside christine.

We’re helped by assistant Miley on our visits and she is amazing, she goes above and beyond every time to make my daughter’s experience a comfortable one! Staff is kind, that is the only good thing I have to say about this place. All I asked for is an evaluation for lip and tongue ties, if they did the procedure there, if insurance covered it as well as the sleeping gas and stitches, all for an 19mo old toddler. I tried to cover all necessary questions or possible barriers. First appointment, waiting room was overcrowded and they looked overbooked as well. I was turned away after waiting for over 30 mins, said they needed a referral and couldn’t see us. Second attempt, I was waiting 1.5hrs just to be seen, they thought we were doing a cleaning! Understaffed they claimed. Doctor was with us for just 3 mins to look at her mouth and told us she cannot have the surgery yet because of her age as she cannot be put to sleep, it is not something they do anymore for kids who cannot stay still. I am beyond dissatisfied with this place. Front staff is not well trained or knowledgeable, this is something that should have been mentioned before I wasted so much time, gas, and effort running around with a toddler. Very inconvenient and just all around needs improvement. If they don’t know the answer, they should be welcomed by the dentist to ask questions to better help everyone… you would think this is general common sense, but could be lack of training.

This dentist is horrible! The Dentist wasn't professional at all. Didn't say a word to my 6 year old son came in gave him a shot. Then left for 30 minutes and came back still didn't say a word to my son or his father he didn't even make sure my son was still numb. He yanked his tooth out. My son came out of that place dripping blood from his chin and left him traumatized! That's so horrible my son had to go through this. Not only was he crying but I as well. Who does this to a child? We will definitely never be back to this place again!

First I called on a day when they are supposed to be open and they tell me to call tomorrow. Ok, I call the next day and they put me on hold 15 minutes. I finally give up and call again..then I wait again for another long period and they disconnect me. I wasted my entire lunch trying to make an appointment and eventually gave up. Business lost because your front desk people cant do their job. Didn't even apologize for the wait or disconnecting me. Do yourself a favor and try Star Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. I cannot even warn you enough. Don't bypass these reviews like I did. I took my daughter there she's 4 years old. She needed to get crowns for her front teeth according to the dentist. Long story short she screamed bloody murder the entire time. What bothers me the most is her gums around the teeth are now black. They are crooked , one sticks out further than the other, they look absolutely terrible. I should have left her teeth alone. The staff is cold, which is so wrong seeing as how they are a dentist for little kids. The only positive thing was the assistant, she's the only person who talked to my baby... If I could rate a zero I would. Just terrible. Now I have to wait for my baby to loose her teeth. Not to mention she probably will have a fear of the dentist now. 😢 I’m now taking my daughter to another dentist and referred to this review to let her know where she had been and saw the response from the owner. It’s a flat out lie. I would Never go against what a doctor recommended and the fact that they would lie and try to act like it was my fault my daughter had a terrible experience is scary. These are bad people. When I checked there reviews last time they were all 1 stars im thinking they have people post 5 stars for them to improve their score. There’s no way these doctors are good honest people after reading the LIE they responded to my post. BE CAREFUL.

Unfortunately, due to insurance issues, it had been almost a year since my kids had been to the dentist. Dr. Luong and her staff are fantastic. So incredibly kind and accommodating to our very large family. We did not have to wait long for our appointment or wait long in the waiting room. So thankful we found Toothfairy Children’s Dental!

I don't know how they are getting good reviews. This location was a nighmare for my family. My kids screen when I'm on Eastern because they think I'm taking them to the dentist. The doctor told us that our 6 years old daughter needed a surgery to remove something in her lip that is causing her teeth to separate. I trusted the doctor and got it done. The doctor gave her a shot and left the room came back after one hour and starting cutting. After 10 minutes my daughter was feeling everything because the doctor took too long and should have gave her more numbing. While the doctor is yelling at my daughter the doctors kids walk in the room to talk to their mom while performing a surgery. That was very unprofessional and I couldn't believe it. I changed to a different dentist and now my kids loom forward to a dentist appointment. Also the new dentsit told us that the surgery was unnecessary and it us going to ruin her teeth because research shows that this was there for a reason.
The front office people are so rude. Run away and find a better dentist for your kids.

Didn't appreciate I was told my son had 8 cavities and when I got a second opinion, he had only 4 and four that were slightly stained. Doc also suggested that I put him under at the surgery center and didn't even suggest gas at the office. I had his four cavities fixed by a different doctor that I went to and they only had to use gas. The office can use some upkeep and disinfecting as the smell when you walk in is apalling.

The only reason why they got two stars is because the front desk staff and hygienist were very friendly with my son! Thank you, Rhonda! :-)

My children have been coming here since Aug 2016. The front staff is nice.
The kids love their dentist. The Dr is a female and is so sweet and is fast and efficient.
The kids hygentist is a male and knows his stuff.
I wouldn't change their dentist.

This place has a great staff and they make my children and myself feel very comfortable! Rhonda was great with my daughter when she was scared to get a cavity filled. We have been coming here for years and will continue to drive across town. The wait times vary but if you come after school when everyone else does then you will have longer wait times, but you don't want the staff and dr to rush through your child to make up time.

My employer changed insurer and i had to change dentist, I ended up coming here because it's close to my home.

Well my second time I went my 2 sons had to get work done so my oldest son went first well I was on the phone with the insurance company for my youngest son they took my oldest son to the back I didn't know so when I come in from outside on the phone the lady called me to the back and I walked in and see my son sitting there shaking like he was having a seizure so I look at the lady and she tells me well we can't do the work on him and I'm like really I see that so I ask what's wrong with him and she looks at me and said I never seen that happen before when we gave them the medicine so she asked me do I want to take him to my pediatrician I'm like no I think know he needs to go to the hospital she looks at me with a attitude and says well do you want us to call an ambulance and I didn't know what to do so I just took him to my car to take and they put him in a office chair and wheeled him out and just said we will call you later to see how he is doing! Also they scheduled my daughter to go have surgery done they called me to confirm the appointment so I drove 30 miles clear across town for her surgery I get there and 2 hours later they tell me they can't do her surgery because of insurance so I called back toothfairy and they had nothing to say and I'm still waiting for a phone call back!!!!

Front desk staff is rude and does not want to do her job. My kid as 1 primary and 1 secondary insurance their policy is to book the primary insuarance only. they told me they "dont have time to call" and verify her insurance. Also we arrived 5 mins behind grace period and the doc wouldnt see both of my girls. The office is completely empty. Their lazy and dont want to do their job. Dont bring ur kid here.

scheduling is a huge pain - their system is always down or they're only scheduling for the other office or something else - I seriously had to try 10 times to schedule once. they couldn't tell me what my insurance would cover. we were first patients of the day but it took 90 minutes for a 5 minute polishing (no cleaning), xrays, and 3 minutes with the dentist. There were staff everywhere! but we were just sitting there. and then not even a free toothbrush when we left - they have fancy ones for $13 that only made my kids feel bad. depressed, slightly ghetto feel to the facility. don't really seem to *like* kids. won't be going back.
