This place used to be great and Dr. Christy was great! But she quit unexpectedly they said, which there is probably a reason, she was a very honest and amazing Dr.

Now there is nothing but problems, I have spent a lot of money there. But recently about 8 months again my wife went in for a cleaning. We made sure the girls in the office called our insurance and got prior authorization and they said they did and there was no charge for the cleaning and x-rays.
However months later they sent us a bill for $29.00. We tried to call and leave voicemails multiple times and no one ever calls back.

Fast forward to today, she had another cleaning appointment, prior to sitting down she asked if the insurance had been called and verified and that there was no charge. They said this time that they had not done it yet even thought they send 100 appointment reminders. They didn’t bother to call yet. So they did so and they said that it would be around $90 for the cleaning. They said our insurance delta dental, only covers 80%. I’m not sure why it was $29 extra last time and $90 this time but whatever. We called delta and they stated they can only cover 80% of their price for a cleaning. That their price was much higher than it should be and that we should go somewhere else. My wife then said she will have to go somewhere else and that she wish they would have pre called the insurance prior to her visit. Then some man comes in demanding she pays the previous $29.00 that we have called about multiple times to find out what it was for. He rudely said they had sent multiple emails for the bill and that we neglected to pay it, however the truth is that we left multiple voicemails trying to find out what it was even for and they neglected to call us back. We don’t just pay bills that we don’t know what they are for. Then he said “that’s fine we will send it to collections.”

First off, we asked during the first visit how much it would be you guys said “free” now if you failed to call the insurance first and verify that that’s not my problem, and I believe any legality on your end gets thrown out the window when you say it’s free then change your mind. We would have paid the $29 regardless because we loved Dr. Christy had someone called us back.

But she’s gone and I don’t appreciate to mobster act, pay me now garbage, and I don’t appreciate you threatening my wife and our credit. I pulled out phone records out of spite and we called 7 times to correct this
With no answer and no call back.

I tried to call again before writing this review, I called four times and no answer. I called and clicked the “to make a payment” button and some rude lady named Pam answered the phone with “what’s your name”.
Not even hello I’m Pam. I explained the situation and she said she would have to have billing call us back I explained we have tried that for months.

Anyway this place is garbage, they lie, they don’t answer the phone, and treat paying customers bad. I would suggest to anyone thinking of using this place to make sure you are in the office and baby them, make sure they do their job and call insurance before sitting in the chair and make sure they do it in front of you and Make sure you get a written total bill cause they will raise their prices Months later and try to bill you for it. Then try to punk you like they did nothing wrong.

I am so grateful that I found TCD. I am receiving the best dental care of my life. The front staff greets me with friendly smiles and hellos that make me feel special. Dr Jane is my dentist she always takes time to exam my teeth and mouth even when I’m only there for my annual cleanings. I think they love my teeth as much as I do. There is no other dental choice for me and I highly recommend them to all of my friends.

Had my 2nd visit at Town Center Dental on 6/3/26 and it was just great, as I expected it to be! This time it was only a regular cleaning and it went smoothly with no problems at all! Thanks to my hygienist, Kristin, I realized I was not using my e-brush as effectively as I should have and that was causing problems for me at the gum line. The online link would not permit me to set up my First appointment at this location. Instead, I went to the clinic to set up my 1st appointment. This appointment consisted of the full x-ray and consultation with dentist and hygenist. They set up my follow up my appointments. Very disappointed with this dental office. The customer service is extremely poor. Every time I try to book a simple cleaning appointment — just a cleaning — I’m told the next available spot is over a month out. Yet they constantly post on social media saying they’re accepting new patients.

They treat you well the first visit, but after that, good luck getting any kind of reasonable scheduling or support. It feels like once you’re no longer a “new patient,” you don’t matter.

If you value your time and expect consistent service, I would think twice before choosing this office. Not happy at all.

I cannot recommend Town Center Dental enough! It had been a few years since my last dental visit, primarily because I’ve never been a fan of the dentist due to some past bad experiences. However, the team here completely changed my perspective.

From the very first phone call, the staff was incredibly welcoming and comforting. Gloria at the front desk was a huge help in getting me scheduled; she was so reassuring and promised me that the clinical staff would take great care of me. When I arrived, she greeted me warmly and the check-in process was seamless.

Almost immediately, Sarah brought me back for my initial visit. She really listened when I explained my dental anxiety and was so kind and reassuring throughout the process. She took my X-rays, explained everything clearly, and was remarkably efficient.

I was seen by Dr. Christy, who was fantastic. She took the time to explain the work I needed and truly made me feel like I was in expert hands. Since that initial visit, I’ve also had a cleaning with Kristen, the hygienist, who was equally wonderful and professional.

This office has been a breath of fresh air. For the first time, I actually look forward to continuing my care here. If you’re nervous about the dentist, this is the place to go!

Having picked the closest dentist that took my insurance when we moved here two years ago, I feel my husband and I really lucked out with excellent dentistry care at Town Center Dental. Kristin is a great Hygenist, very thorough and gentle. She lets me know where the problem areas lie so that I can focus on them and makes suggestions as to how. Dr Christe presents a solid and not overly agressive approach to my dental plan and the fees seem reasonable, even after my insurance benefits run out. I can’t say enough good things about Town Center Dental. It’s the only place I’ve ever felt truly comfortable going to for dental care. The staff makes you feel welcome and at ease. Unethical & Incompetent "Treatment" – Dr. Christy (Lakeway, TX) Destroyed My Teeth

I trusted Dr. Christy (more a marketer, than a dentist) with my dental care, and the results were disastrous. She left my teeth over-drilled and exposed for 30 minutes while saliva pooled into open cavities before hastily packing them with temporary cement. The aftermath? Months of extreme sensitivity and long-term damage.

Even worse, she chipped a neighboring tooth during the procedure, which later forced me to get a crown elsewhere. When I asked her to fill another tooth, she refused, pressuring me into an unnecessary root canal by falsely claiming "infection." A year later, no other dentist agrees with her diagnosis—the tooth has no pulpitis symptoms, yet no one will treat it without nerve removal.

Suspicious Behavior After the Fact:
After ruining patients' teeth, Dr. Christy shut down her Lakeway, TX clinic (Mountain Laurel) within a year, deleted the website, and erased her Google Maps listing—wiping out all patient reviews. This screams guilty conscience and an attempt to hide her malpractice.

Avoid Dr. Christy at all costs—she’s unqualified, unethical, and clearly running from accountability.
