I have found immense relief after doing the neurovisual exam and receiving my BVD glasses. The exam is thorough and Dr.Payne and Daniel really listen to all of your symptoms. They have a calming presence and are very meticulous in making sure your prescription is exactly right for you.

If you have any of the symptoms of BVD I 100% recommend going. It is a little expensive, but is beyond worth it.

We moved to Las Vegas a couple of years ago, and the time finally came for me to choose a new team for my eye care needs. After extensive research, I chose Trendsetter Eyewear—and I am so glad I did.

The entire team was kind, professional, and knowledgeable from start to finish. Daniel greeted me warmly and handled the initial preliminary testing. Up next was Dr. Payne, who conducted a thorough exam while patiently answering all the technical questions I lobbed her way. Afterwards, Chip helped me select new frames for both daily wear and sunglasses. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with him and am so glad I trusted his recommendations.

What truly stands out is how they put customer satisfaction front and center through a couple of minor hiccups. When one set of lenses came back from the lab without the anti-reflective coating I ordered, they quickly remedied the issue. A week later, after wearing my new daily glasses, I needed a small adjustment to sharpen the fit, which they handled instantly.

From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by Chip & Daniel. They were both very cheerful and helpful. We had some great conversations. Daniel walked me back to one of the rooms where he proceeded to do some eye tests. Then he walked me to another area where he continued to do special eye tests while being very informative on why these tests where being done. Then he took me into another exam room and told me Dr. Payne will be in soon. Within minutes, Dr. Cynthia Payne walked in, greeted me with a smile and proceeded to do a few more eye tests. Have been a customer at Trend Setter Eye ware since I’ve moved to Vegas from Florida . Always loved statement eye glasses and this is the only place in Las Vegas that carries statement eye glasses ! A wonderful business run by Cynthia & Chip , who treat you like family even when you go in for a “ tune up” ! They do eye exams and are up to date on the latest procedures and such . Dr Payne has been wonderful thru 18 months of eye issues that have left me partially blind. She quickly got me into the retinal specialist when the issue first started in August 2024. She is patient in finding lenses that allow me to both continue to work and promote a decent quality of life. Thru two surgeries and a lot of testing, she is the only one of all the doctors I have had to see, who consistently cared and when I had a specific issue, she would quickly get me in and add another set of glasses or adjust the ones I have so I could continue working thru all this. When I took my daughter the staff was nice even the doctor but the point of me taking my daughter is that she had lost her glasses. I had an exam for contact lenses, because of my astigmatism my contacts get dry and I can tolerate wearing them for 4-5 hours max. Dr Payne helped me with my dry eyes with her equipment that she introduced me to. My eyes feel so much better and my contact lens wear time has doubled. I also got a pair of glasses through them. Also liked the state-of-the art examination equipment. No puff in the eye anymore and no dilation necessary. I felt the exam was the most thorough I've had in a long time.

At my advanced age, I can't wear sexy high-heels or slinky sheaths. But I can have jaw-dropping glasses. And that's exactly what I get at Trendsetter Eyewear.
Chip Williams could be a fashion designer. He selects the frames for me. I swear, people stop me wherever I go and ask me where I bought these kewl frames.
A few years ago I got some glasses that had snap on frames so I could change them to match my outfits. I would take off the frames and watch everyone's eyes bulge out in wonder! I felt like David Copperfield doing a magic trick.
Then I bought 1950ish sunglasses. I look like Marilyn Monroe (from the neck up.) I am stylin'.
But the really important part of Trendsetter Eyewear is Dr. Payne. My mother went blind from macular degeneration and it's genetic. So I have to take really good care of my eyes to try to prevent that from happening to me.
Dr. Payne is extremely knowledgeable. She takes great care in her exams. She patiently answer all my stupid questions without making me feel stupid. And so far my maculars are performing.
They have the newest equipment. The new machine prevents the hated pupil dilation. THANK YOU!

I’ve been going here for the past 2ish years. It’s always been a smooth and swift appointment. The staff is amazing and patient. They have a huge variety of frames and really look for your best interest if you have a set budget or style. It’s very clean in there and has a calm atmosphere. I think the thing I love the most is you can go on there online page before your appointment and pick out a couple frames so that when you get there they have them ready for you to try on. Such an amazing experience. I began losing vision in my right eye. Not only did they squeeze me in, work around my work schedule and do a very thorough exam, they also set me up with an ophthalmologist to help figure out what was going on. Doctor Payne, Daniel, and Chip are always awesome! Amazing service. Dr. Payne did have to give me some frightening news, but she provided a calm and understandable explanation (I still broke out in a terrified sweat that caused the lenses to fog up during my exam) but there is a manageable and hopeful prognosis. Buyer beware, Groupon voucher does not include retina scan. That's another $45. Also I was quoted $329 over the phone for their cheapest frames and high index progressive lenses. When I got to the office I was told the same frames and lenses would be $628. Big difference! So I went to Costco where high index glare free progressive lenses are $200 plus frames at $50-$100. So my lenses and frames at Costco were $265 plus tax, cheaper than anything I found online except AliExpress. Giving two stars because Chip and Daniel were both very friendly and it's a nice space. Other than that pretty disappointed

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Trendsetter Eyewear in Las Vegas. They hands down have the best eyeglasses and best frame selection in Las Vegas. Dr Payne is fabulous! Had a complete eye examination for my new glasses and was done without any irritating eye drops! The examination was both pleasant, efficient and comfortable. Meanwhile, after the examination Mr. Grady took me on a lavish tour of the numerous frames by designers from across the globe… you name the designer and Trendsetter had the up-to-date styles in stock for your fitting! I went with two pairs John Varvatos and Spectacle Eyeworks. My lenses are top notch progressive and transitional therefore I never have to remove my glasses for reading are gazing! Already looking forward to my next pair later this year!
Trendsetter eyewear is the only place I can honestly say my choice of available frames did not entail me going place to place looking for the correct look! Dr. Payne and Mr Grady we’re both present to help in my selection on the best lenses and frames to fit my face! The day I picked up my eyewear, Trendsetters made the final adjustments to customize the fit on my face!
