1st Dr. Visit after ER and a lacerated achilles from a fallen lamp.

Appt with Dr.Watson was for 12:30pm, but it was a busy day in the office so I waited almost 2hrs, no qualms there.

Once Dr.Watson finally made it to my room, he went over operative vs. non- operative options, squeezed my calves for 2 minutes, had his assistant, jam my bare foot in a boot, and simply sent me home, with a referral to call PT.

ZERO INSTRUCTION given on what boot is for, how it works, how long I should keep boot on, how to walk with it , bath OR ANYTHING -NO ADVICE GIVEN Not even a sock or an ace bandage was used, just raw crusty foot in boot. Doc didn't even look at my wound where the lamp had cut my ankle, to check on it's progress.

FINALLY, able to reach PT desk a week later and advised that Dr. Watson wrote in his notes that I am supposed to wear boot 24hrs with no weight bearing. WELL THAT WOULD'VE BEEN NICE TO KNOW. DR.WATSON.

I had a consultation meeting with Dr. Watson, and he provided clear explanations of the two procedures and the impact of both. I left informed and confident in making a decision. Dr. Watson was very personable and was able to articulate in “laymans” terminology!!

I would 100% recommend seeing him and his team for any issues related to the foot and ankle. Their work is top-notch, and with it, my quality of life has improved significantly. In addition, Desert Orthopedic at Desert Inn Rd, where I received my care, has some of the nicest people working there, who genuinely care about their patients.
On a personal note: I was born with a deformity where only one side of my feet grew, which, along with making my arch completely flattened, left me walking on the ankle joint itself throughout most of my life. This caused me a large amount of pain, balance issues, and in the final year before my first surgery, made it nearly impossible for me to even walk around my house properly. When we went to other foot doctors, I was the worst case they had ever seen, and even with Dr. Watson, I was told I was the second-worst case he had seen in his time as a foot surgeon. However, despite how severe my condition was, he put himself to the task of reconstructing my feet, and due to his work: I can run properly for the first time in my life. I can walk around my house and do basic day-to-day activities. I can spend time with friends and loved ones outside of the house without worrying about where I'm going to rest on for balance. I can live my life the way I've wanted to live it all this time.
Dr. Watson and his team have absolutely changed my life for the better. And, if they ever see this, I just wanna say: Thank you all so much for giving me the chance to live my life to the fullest.

I waited two and a half hours I finally went in the hall . They said they lost my chart. I saw a young man, I thinks PA . He was helpful and gave me hints for comfort. Then Dr. Watson came in for a brief few minutes gave me a few helpful hints. All in all a nice Dr.office visit.

I had been suffering from a sprained ankle for three months without receiving treatment from specialists, and upon arriving at this center after all that time, I felt like I was finally being treated by experts. Dr. Watson was able to pinpoint the source of the intense pain I was feeling in my foot when walking within minutes. I am grateful for the excellent care I received from Dr. Watson and his team.
