Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Dr. Tyler Witzel comes from a family of career healthcare providers. He graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. He continued his studies and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Northwest in Lebanon, Oregon. Dr. Witzel completed his internship and Family Medicine Residency with St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Witzel’s clinical interests include wellness and preventive medicine. DO Tyler Witzel is the only physician I have ever had that makes me feel seen and heard he takes the time to listen. Did do a complete check up of all systems. I am a retired actually disabled RN. His assistant CNA or LPN I’m not sure her credentials she acts like an LPN because she is so knowledgeable. Her name is Evelyn is Top notch she knows me she knows my health history. She knows my name every time she sees me. She calls me with my lab results test results. If I have a question and I call and leave it. Evelyn will always call me back.. If I request a medication refill, it is always done if I request a referral it is always done! Again, this is the only place that I am ever seen and heard these two are amazing. I cannot stress how well I feel when I leave there. I feel completely confident that I am taking care of. I don’t ever want to lose this team as my healthcare professionals.

Excellent experience. I have been coming to this location for 3 years. The staff at this clinic are professional, caring and friendly. I never have to wait more than 10-15 minutes to get in. Dr. Witzel takes time to explain test results and answer questions. I never feel rushed. I highly recommend this senior care center.

I had an emergency visit to the office...experiencing a very painful kidney stone. They graciously fit me into their busy schedule...making me feel comfortable. Because my insurance changed I needed a PCP in a different network. Humana suggested a doctor but because of technology issues, I was reassigned to Dr. Tyler Witzel. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Everyone at the office was friendly and caring and I found my doctor! It’s not easy to find a doctor and staff and location that fit perfectly but these do! I feel like my health goals will be attainable now and they really care! Thank you!

Extremely unorganized and unhelpful office staff. Canceled multiple appointments sent texts with wrong time. Representative in referrals was very rude to me and gave me inaccurate information on a specific referral I had ask for. Dr Witzel and his assistant were very pleasant but all the other issues caused me to seek out another Primary care Physician. I would not recommend this medical group to anyone.
