I am experiencing having to replace all my old crowns as dental work. The moment you walk in you are greeted by Marigold at front desk, friendly and attentive, delightful, and very thorough. Tanya, along with Destiny are the techs that assist the Doctors, these women are kind and very attentive as well as being very knowledge able. Not only do they do their jobs well, but they also work as a team assisting each other. They strive for perfection and will re-do anything the feel is not 100% spot on. Dr. Chin and Dr. Lee are very professional and caring letting you know everything about and during the procedure, always checking on your comfort level. The workmanship and procedures are expertly executed professionally.

This is the best dentist I've ever experienced. I'm 68 years old, and I've seen good and bad. The key in my experience is the knowledge and skill in preparation. I've had major crown and bridgework fail from other Dentists because of deficiency in these two factors, and believe me, it is a bad result. Dr. Chin is meticulous in his work, period. Kudos and shout outs to Dyan, reception and finance, thank you for kindness and efficiency, and Tanya, dental assistant and technician both, whose temp partials never have fallen out, and are esthetically fine, nothing beats experience and talent. I have been a patient here for several years, but my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. I was charged over $600 for what was explained as a denture repair requiring lab work and tooth replacement. However, the work performed did not match what was described. The tooth was not replaced, and instead, it appeared to be filed down. Additionally, an adjacent healthy tooth was altered, unnecessarily. When I raised concerns, I received inconsistent, explanations, and no documentation or lab report was provided to support the services I was billed for. The denture was ultimately returned to me in worse condition than before, and no longer fits properly. I disputed the charges with my bank, and the case was resolved in my favor. I would strongly recommend asking for detailed documentation and written treatment plan before proceeding with any work here.

I switched dental offices to this one, and it was the best decision I made. The hygienists, dentists, assistants and the rest of the staff are very friendly and informative! They do everything they can to help me, reassure me and even offer me the best ways to improve my teeth. The service is phenomenal, professional and the office is very clean. I genuinely enjoy going to this place, and the staff even inspires me to go in the dental field for my career! My friend had her implant done a year ago. She looks fabulous! I was envious of her smile, so I asked for her recommendation.
Dr Chin seems to be knowledgeable, and his assistant “Sue” was very attentive and very knowledgeable as well. I went there to replace my partial and they recommended the implant. I just started my treatment two weeks ago. They took my impression on the same day I committed to have my implant. David who took the impression was very knowledgeable and gentle. He is very professional. They have the greatest and latest technology in their office. It makes me feel safe and confident. On my second visit, they let me try the wax fittings. Particularly not with a new doctor. Went to see Dr. Harvey Chin after he was highly recommended by my friend, and I was not disappointed! He was very pleasant and completely thorough in explaining my situation and options. And Sue was also very nice and explained to me in terms I could understand, what was going on, and options I had, and let me know the costs and financing. The office personnel were also pleasant, and I was not kept waiting for very long at all! And I love the 3D Ex ray machine! So much easier than having huge instruments shoved in your mouth!! Since childhood, I had developed a fear of dentists that has carried through until the moment before I met Dr Chin. Over the years I have had lots of dental work but have reached an age where extraction and implants were the only solution. I did not know about mini implants until I researched on the internet. I was so impressed with Dr Chin's credentials and experience that I made an appointment immediately.
I had my lower teeth removed and I must say it was a pain free procedure. I went into the clinic with teeth at 8am and left the clinic about noontime with temporary teeth that looked so good that later in the afternoon 2 friends asked if I had the procedure done that morning and which teeth were the temporary ones. They look amazing.
I cannot express how pleased I am with the professional guidance and treatment of this clinic and how comfortable and good I feel both physically and emotionally. The caring staff are also not what one might expect at a dental clinic. At the risk of sounding corny.... I felt like I had been adopted. I no longer dread dental appointments. You will not regret making an appointment with Dr Chin's most amazing clinic!

It has to be a great place for the amount of traffic that was coming in to have work done. I was there on an exploratory visit and I’m pretty sure I will be going there when I’m ready to have work done. People were friendly and informed. Dr Chin seems like a very nice fellow. Only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because I was there from 12:30 until 3pm. I know I got there early but there was a lot of waiting being done because they were so busy.

I went for a implant review. Dr Harvey Chin was very good at explaining all the options I could get. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The evaluation went well, and informative. The only thing that bothered me a little was it was rather more noisy inside the dental exam area. It was noisier than expected so I took off a star. Other than that it was a good experience and mini implants are a great thing to do.

I have had multiple visits to different Dentists spanning 57 years in 3 states. Good teeth were not inherited! I personally experience severe anxiety just hearing the drill in the next chair over. Memories of Dentist visits gone bad. Besides numerous fillings I have had several root canals, dry socket, infections, and traditional implants (some that have fallen out more than once). The last 6 years I’ve struggled with my bottom teeth falling out, pain & daily headaches. Not a pretty look on a woman especially one in sales. I knew I needed the rest of them pulled & a lasting solution but I fought the idea of it.

In 2019 I saw Dr Chin on TV talking about Mini Dental Implants. I knew I didn’t want & couldn’t have glue on dentures because I don’t have much of a ridge. I met with him & his staff & was blown away by the technology. I waited till 2021 and took the leap. Dr. Chin is highly skilled, patient, kind & gentle as is David & the entire staff. They listen & they truly care. They offer solutions.

FYI. I had checked with two other well-known Dental practices in Las Vegas and there was no comparison on Price. I can’t tell you how many times they have adjusted my temporary to make me more comfortable while I heal. I am almost ready for my permanent dental implant and I am excited. Stay tuned for more…

During my first visit, Dr. Pritz took the time to do part of the cleaning, I don't know if this is always done, but it felt like she really cares about doing a good job to take the time to do the majority of cleaning as it allowed her more time to inspect my teeth and gums for trouble spots. I felt privileged, no other dentist I have went to previously took the time to do that. I needed to have some cavities filled, Dr. Pritz gentle enough that I didn't need any shots for numbing when she worked on the bottom molars. They went above and beyond to help me. I had a tooth infection and got a next day appointment through a third party. When i arrived there had been a mistake and they were only in the office to do paperwork, they werent seeing patients. I've never seen a dentist as caring and professional and thorough as Dr. Chin. This dentist, folks, is a gentleman. As a well-educated businessman who has lived in and travelled many places, I have been to many dentists over the years all over ths U.S.; some good, some not. Some really not. That is what led me to Dr. Chin. I had been mis-diagnosed as well as treated improperly; some teeth damaged by a couple dentists and mis-informed by 3 different dentists. Yes-- three. After all, this is Las Vegas. During my visit to Dr. Chin, I was treated professionally, in-detail treatment plans were shown to me and sensibly planned. My work has allowed me to meet celebrities, some royal people and many professionals; and I must say that the moment I met Dr. Chin, I knew I was talking to a high-end professional who was sincere in his friendly manner showing a genuine interest in my case. The man has a demeanor that one rarely encounters in the Century. As I said: a gentleman. The high-tech testing that the office does is amazing and really gets to what the patient needs. The staff is highly professional , neat and friendly. In fact, Hope worked with me regarding my crazy schedule and was really helpful in setting up my appointment. If you need to visit a dentist for cosmetic reasons-- especially if you have some complex issues as I have; I highly recommend Dr.Chin.

I love dr chin and his staff. My problem is with the people that work in the front. I went in on June 30th cuz my tooth cracked in half.decided to do a bridge. Well About a month later went in for my upper denture and I said hey what's taking so long with my bottom tooth and they said it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks so i Waited patiently. I asked them twice in the meantime whats going on. The person in the office said ya it shouldn't take this long. Im gonna call them. So after 2 1/2 months I called my insurance company myself to see what the problem was. They never recieved any paperwork from the dental office! I work in customer service and a broken front tooth is tough to deal with. And by the way the insurance co answered right away..it was that easy. Kind of beyond mad at this point

The first time I saw Dr. Chin was 3 or 4 years ago. It was a situation where I had a tooth go painfully bad on a Saturday. I was able to find him and the staff at the old location at Sahara and Jones doing an inventory. They stopped it just to fix my problem. Growing up as a military child and dealing with military doctors I had a great FEAR of them, hence I am a bad procrastinator of dental work. I have been going to Dr. Chin since then. Recently because of my lack of care over many years I have had a complete upper Mini implant done. Now it is like night and day. I can not say enough about "DOC" and his staff. I have little or sometimes NO fear of dentist visits now. My procedure was not a "TEETH IN A DAY" visit like you see some places advertise, but that might be a single non Mini implant. They have many payment options. The "DOC" and staff is very knowledgeable in their fields, and best of all they treat you like family. I was born in Vegas, and of all the Dentists I have "SEEN" here, they are by far the BEST.

My friend had an appointment booked several weeks ahead of her appointment today. She went the office...she couldn't be found in the system She had to help by calling the insurance company. She waited 3/4 hour to see the dentist. He spent almost 10 minutes with her. She said, "he was very nice and recommended her to go to another dentist, who is a specialist". However this is where it turned bad...a rude girl, named VALERIE, had already acted like a troll, but she didn't say anything. After the dentist left the consultation room, VALERIE took another 30 minutes to bring in a price fee schedule for the work to be done. She was not equipped with answers, did not really attempt to explain and when my friend asked to see the Dentist, "she REFUSED RUDELY, SAYING "he is in a consultation, he can't see you. You had your consultation". Well, my friend said " we didn't have X-Rays then and I need to to ask him a question'. VALERIE SAID NO, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT HERE, YOU ARE FREE TO GO SOME WHERE ELSE. (what she didn't know was that my friend had the cash money to pay for the services, then at that moment". VALERIE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE, NOT EXPERIENCED IN PATIENT COMMUNICATION OR SKILLS AT HER JOB. Based on this information, I would Never recommend anyone to 'waste' their time going there. I guess the dentist will have to pay for more television ads....if people are smart, they will listen. The work my friend needed was extensive and required a professional dentist not a RUDE $10.00 an hour employee, that is prideful and tries to control the front office. DON'T GO THERE AND EVEN THOUGH I WAS LOOKING FOR A DENTIST, myself, I will not go there based on my friend's experience. July 22/2020 was the date she went there at 10:30 and waited until 1:15 to be treated so rudely. She doesn't have a facebook, but I do and will advise the people across the net. TREAT ALL PEOPLE WITH RESPECT OR LOSE YOUR BUSINESS AND CREDIBILITY.

I have a 4 o’clock appointment. I was finally seen by the nurse at 4:40. Then doctor came in and basically sad I didn’t know what I was talking about regarding our last visit. In our previous visit he had ordered new O-rings for my implant dentures and when they came in we try them. They were no better than the O-rings that I already had. So he said well there’s nothing else I can do for you. I said what do you suggest. He said I don’t know. . In today’s visit he said I told you to go to a prosthodontist, which was not true because I had never heard that word previously nor did I know what they do. He was very curt with me. Said I can’t help you. I will give you a referral I waited in the front office for another 10 minutes until the nurse came out and said I can’t give you the name right now because the other nurse is busy with that but I will text you the information. Well that never happened either. So now I am on my own looking for one. As you can tail I won’t be back to him.

Was charged $25 to book an emergency appointment for a broken molar. Then another $130 for the appointment once there. Was told I needed a crown. I was numbed, in the chair when the dentist informs me that I need a root canal first and that he can’t proceed. It just so happens that they don’t offer root canals at this location. So essentially I wasted 2 hours of my life and $155 on endless paperwork when no dental work even took place. Avoid this place.

I have been a patient of Dr Chin for a long time and he is an amazing Dr. I highly recommend him as a dentist. However with that said I would have to say the office personel are severly lacking. I was given a quote months ago about a procedure and after almost 2 months of calling to find out what was going on with the insurance portion I was told that my procedures had already been done.....ok so after I get that straightened out. I was given basically another quote for the procedures to be done which was slightly higher than what I was told before. Ok I understand cost inflation. So I again on hold waiting for some news on moving forward and am now told I need to get an impression ok so I go in and at this time I am told that I somehow now owe from an extraction last year 200$ why at any point could you have called me and said something??? So now my portion goes up only by 107$ though which was nice of them to cut in half. So I pay for the upcoming procedure the amount I am told to pay for them to get done. Fast forward procedure is done I go in for a check up and the lady sits me down and proceeds to tell me I owe 1000.00$+ for the procedure that was done!!! I told her no I paid for the procedure when I got the impression that was the total you told me to pay! She shows me on the computer where I have a balance from 2017!!! At this point I am thinking I am on candid camera or something!! She asks me if I have a receipt for payment. So I have to leave the office to try and find the receipt which I end up having to look up the charge to my card online cause the original got lost after I finally get a copy of the receipt and head in she now has a magically produced layout of what was paid and what was now quoted from the numbers today not from before. I am mentally exhausted from this person I have never had any problems like this before, its almost like its a bother for her to even do the paperwork. I know offices are busy and dealing with insurances are probably a pain being on the phone but if you make a mistake own up to it. I can tell you how I know a mistake was made cause she wanted me to pay 1000$+ then requested a receipt for payment then just subtracted the amount from what she told me I owed. Why would you tell me to only pay what I paid if I wanted to pay for the whole procedure??? I am not even sure the “previous balance” is real now or just clinical errors...sorry Dr. Chin your amazing and as well as the rest of the staff but the accounting errors and maybe its just me have to be addressed. Not sure I can even come in there anymore cause its gonna be weird.

I made the mistake of following a Facebook ad to go to this place, whoops... I would not recommend, I should have read the one star reviews and not gone off of their rating.

The whole experience was subpar and overpriced. My wife is in extreme pain and didn't sleep last night because she wasn't giving the correct pain medication.

She has three small children to raise and doesn't need to be in any pain. Obviously, she isn't a drug addict. I explained to Ms. Pritz our situation, but she doesn't care about her patients. Now we have another day ruined, thanks for nothing. We should have never gone here. Please save whatever rebuttal you might have because we already spoke face-to-face. Anything else would just be an excuse. Which is unacceptable, like our experience.

O hai o smilers! To be up-front, the doc (Dr. Harvey Chin) has been my long-time mentor as I matriculate to my education in Dental Medicine @ UNLV School of Dental Medicine, learning daily-weekly from the doc which is empowers me with his 30-years of experience, something not many of my peers have which truly gives me an edge!

Anyway, in the beginning of the year I had 3 of my wisdom-teeth removed (#1, #17, #32), as I was under my winter-break and they have been bothering me with the TMJ-issues I've had from having a mis-aligned bite as a complication to the wisdom-teeth. After having seen dozens and dozens of wisdom-teeth extractions as an intern, I already knew what I was going to be put through. But one thing was for-sure, I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my molars other than the doc. I'm not the type to 'need' sedation but I went ahead and tried it so as to experience it as my future patients would, and it was surprisingly calming: 1. You arrive at the office in a restful state (being pre-medicated) which helps with the anxiety as many people may have upon receiving such a procedure, 2. Along with the 'normal' anesthetics, the only thing I felt was a bit of pressure from the 'wisdom wiggle', as the doc elevated them out., 3. The next few days it felt a bit sore (glad I did it during the winter-break!) but within a week it was back to normal. I always wondered how long it would take for the 'holes' to fill up (ask for an oral irrigator if you feel like you'd feel better cleaning it out once in a while, its free! :D ), but after 2-3 months, it was all covered up by the gums. To top all of that, my TMJ-issues have been much better ever since: a lot less stress on the muscles from chewing on foods due to the bad bite & I actually sleep a lot better now too (mis-aligned bites can cause a bit of sleep-apnea in some people; and it doesn't help that I stay up late to study on exam weeks).

Anyway, I hope my review is helpful! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or their office; especially if you're anxious about getting your wisdom-teeth pulled, I can now say first-hand that its not that bad :) Take care and keep on smilin'!

I've got to start this review by saying that like so many people, I have major dentist anxiety. I have had some really traumatic experiences at dentists from childhood to adulthood. So after 7 years of avoiding the dentist entirely, I finally did some dentist shopping and found Dr. Harvey Chin's office on the recommendation from several friends. They always let me bring a person back with me for moral support. Their staff has been so patient and understanding with me when I need some grace, and I don't even have to ask them for thorough explanations as they are working, because they just always do that. They firmly but kindly remind me to floss when I have been doing a bad job, and they don't ever make me feel ashamed about my own capacity to take care of my teeth. There is only one dental hygienist that was ever rough on my teeth cleaning, but her time working there was very short. The other dental hygienists have all been so kind and patient with me, and I really appreciate them. They and Dr. Chin have all helped me with my dentist anxiety, and I forget her name (it was something lovely like, Serenity or Harmony or something like that), but one of the receptionists even offered to come sit with me and hold my hand if I didn't have anyone who could come with me. I really can't thank this team enough for helping me get back on track with my dental health.
Also, the facility is always very clean. It gets hot in the summertime, but that's Vegas for you.

We have experienced one of the biggest cons for a repair. They do not respond to explanations of bills. They do not file insurance claims as promised. Zero follow up. They could care less about their patients. I would think twice before ever stepping foot in this place. I do not know who Dr. Chin has put up front - but the previous ladies were way more knowledgeable and professional. They need to be brought back to run his business. Don't believe the clinics responses to these reviews. We have tried to work with them already, they do NOT follow up.
