I am so upset. They told me I needed cataract surgery. They told me to go home and wait for somebody to call. They never did. I called back to your place and they gave me the name Center For Sight and number to the surgeon. I called them and they text me back saying that they never received a referral. I went to visionworks last year and it was a great experience. This year i decided to go back but at a different location. When I arrived at my appointment the front desk staff was polite. I went to the back and the doctor kept asking if I can see near and I said yes but he kept insisting that at my age I should be having issues with seeing close. But I kept telling him I don’t have that issue, he gives me my prescription and when I got home I noticed I can’t see up close with this prescription. I had to put reading glasses over my contacts to see up close. I go back and tell him this information and he says it’s because of my age and that’s normal. I explained the day I came for my appointment I had contacts in and filled out paperwork with no problem so I know I can see up close. He kept saying it’s my age. I’m 47 I’m not that old, I went to eyeglass world and my problem was solved. I had to spend another 100 dollars for another exam just to get the right prescription.

The location in the Blvd Mall was really great you have a option for dialation or photos without the eye drops for dialation While you’re waiting to see the doctor you get to pick your frames to help with the visit to go a little bit more faster and smoother
Overall I really enjoyed the staff and they really know what they’re doing and talking about

I came to the store with a friend that was going to get an eye exam. I didn’t plan on getting new glasses, but I figured I’d look around the store while I waited. Rachel greeted me and helped me pull up my current prescription from a different store when I asked. I didn’t feel pressured at all. She just let me know how long the prescription would be valid for and to just ask if I wanted any help. Once I did decide to purchase a couple new frames, I was struck by the inevitable feeling of indecisiveness. Fortunately, Ashley offered to help me narrow down my selection. Her gentle candor and friendly personality ultimately resulted in two new pairs of glasses that I can’t wait to get. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location for future eye exams and glasses.

Elizabeth, the optometrist as VisionWorks inside the Boulevard Mall, in Las Vegas Nevada was exceptional. She was extremely thorough in getting the correct lens prescription dialed in for me, and informative along the way about every question I had. After my appointment for the eye exam was complete, Elizabeth walked me out onto the eyeglass display floor and introduced me to a women who seamlessly picked up where Elizabeth left off. I unfortunately can't remember her name, but their graceful energy was carried out by all staff members. The woman who took over where Elizabeth left off, was also informative and patient in working up my options and cost with those various options. In total, my visit took almost 2 hours between filling out the paperwork, getting my eyes scanned and dilated, before meeting with the optometrist and then on to finding the perfect frames. The same staff member that helped me find my new frames, gave me a comprehensive rundown on how my insurance worked (which previously, I didn't know was excellent).

The 2 hours that it took is not the standard. I just shared that my visit took 2 hours in order to exhibit how patient they were. I had not had an eye exam in years, and the staff at VisionWorks were the perfect ambassadors that usher me through.

I went to Vision Works at boulevard Mall on 11/3/23 Dr Rodney Knuckles was incredibly rude and didn’t seem interested in answering questions or giving explanations. He also didn’t take the time to get any kind of history from me, he also became very annoyed when I was having trouble looking in a particular direction when asked, due to a lazy eye. I had surgery on my eyes when I was a child to help resolve this problem but the problem has persisted. Which he would have know about when I went for my exam if he had asked. When I explained my difficulties, he didn’t apologize, or seem interested in anyway in discussing my problem. I won’t be back to see him again. I was quite annoyed and frankly slightly embarrassed, but when I was done with my exam, I sat down with a young lady. I don’t remember her name and began discussing glasses. I looked at a few frames shows two that I liked, and when we started discussing cost, she quoted me $750 For one pair. The frames themselves were $180 which my insurance would’ve taken care of my prescription would have been progressives with transitions. When I asked for clarification on the pricing she just wrote the figure down on a Post-it note and slid it across the table to me. She then informed me that, they wouldn’t be able to order glasses because their systems were down that day unless I wanted to pay cash. I simply told her that I was going to go to ATM and think about it and I would be back later.
That same afternoon I went to LensCrafters at fashion, show mall explained the situation to them, and they were amazing. I ordered glasses with Oakley frames that would have cost $400 before my insurance and with my insurance it covered all but $20 of the frame cost. I also ordered my lenses with progressive (no line bifocal) transitions xtraactive, antiglare, scratch resistance, water resistance. In total I paid $435 for glasses that had I ordered them from Visionworks would’ve cost me over $700.

Dr. Randy knuckles needs to go back to school and learn how to talk to patients in a way that actually will be helpful and not make them feel as if they’re doing something wrong simply due to a physical disability.

The staff at Visionworks need to not throw a random numbers around or attempt to overcharge a patient assuming that the patient doesn’t know what they’re looking for.

The only issue I have is with the examination and the Doctor who kept calling me "Sir" the whole time? Clearly I don't look like a "Sir" but he kept calling me "Sir". I thought to myself maybe I don't have makeup on nah! And to make the experience even more unpleasant I was charged $75 for procedure I never received $75 bucks for eye drops? Probably because he was so fixated on calling me "Sir" the whole time that he forgot to give me the eye drops. I'm sure he wouldn't have appreciated if I called him" "Nurse" the whole time? But I didn't feed into his blatant discrimination Infact I held my head high and kept up the small talk it was all I could do from strangling the "NURSE" oh wait that was "Doctor". I will not be going to VISIONWORKS Stores, Websites, or Onsite Doctor's in the future and I will definitely pass the word along to my community of a few million LGBTQ consumers who like to know if Corporations are friendly or in this case NOT.......... 👎F-

I've called twice to get simple information (my ADD, PD, and frame measurments). I was told over the phone that I could not get my frame measurements over the phone and that I needed to come in. It's pouring rain but fine. I come in and the store is empty so I let them know I was the one who called a while ago requesting that information. When asking they kepy saying they didn't know what I was talking about. Fair but seeing as it's the same information they would need to order glasses for someone buying in store, it wouldn't take much for them to look it up. After about 5 minutes of back and forth, they found what I needed but then told me they can't give me my frame measurements at all. I needed them to order glasses from their website and I had just come in a month ago to get fitted. That was annoying but she gave me my ADD and told me the PD was only for bifocals so I didn't need them. Easy enough.

Ao color me surprised when I go home to finish placing my order and the ADD she gave me want even an option.

A very frustrating experience and a waste of time. I wish they would've asked more questions to assist since I had TOLD THEM i was ordering from their website but it was already obvious they weren't going to be much help from the start of the condo.

The Vision works at Galleria has much better customer service so I'll just go their from now on, doesn't matter if it's a little further if I get better help from the specialist.

I arrived at on time for an eye exam appointment. I finished the paperwork in 10 minutes and was told that the eye exam would be $130. I was not seen until an hour and fifteen later, after I told the receptionist that I had to leave for work soon. After the eye exam, I was told that the exam was $160 and I had to go to another location on a different day for some 'contact class' that would be an additional $30. So in total, it ended up being $60 more than what the receptionist told me. Never get your eye exams here unless you can stand to wait way longer than you're scheduled for I guess.

Visited for eye exam and purchased 2 pair of glasses, at 60% off, still paid almost $1,000. Right from the beginning their were vision problems, was talked out of glasses being faulty, told to give time, no problem, when I continued to kindly repeat my first concerns, they made an adjustment. I finally asked for an appointment to re-check my investment (why can't I see clearly still), I was told I had to pay for a re-check, not when I made the appointment but only at the counter when I arrived. I highly would not recommend "Visionworks Boulevard Mall" staff also very unprofessional - This was a horrible experience for first glasses. I pray no one goes through something like this.

The dr's Staff are rude most of the time, but the Dr. Is a nice provider, the front staff that help you get the frames are all nice. Someone needs to tell the desk staff learn how to speak to the patients, they are RUDE.

Wow, great service and timely as well! My eye doctor (Helmick) was so pleasant and explained everything. Also the staff was so accommodating and allowed me ample time to make selections. She even made recommendations (that I loved btw, she had shoulder length black hair) and explained my ALL of my options. Happy to spend my money and satisfied with service! A+ Now I will be able to see at night again, Lol.

I got my yearly eye exam here and wanted to also give contacts a try. At the end of the visit I was told that my trials would be ready in a week and that in three weeks the rest of my contacts would be ready. A week went by and I received no call so I took it upon myself to give them a call and ask for my trials, I went ahead and picked them up a week after my visit and was told by a different receptionist the same thing “your contacts are a special order due to your bad astigmatism so it’ll be about 2 more weeks, also when you come to pick them up make sure you’re wearing your contacts so the doctor can exam them” it didn’t make any sense to me but as I said getting contacts was new to me and being told by two different receptionist the same thing I figured it was the correct information. Three weeks went by, no call again so I went ahead and followed up for myself. Now there is another different receptionist and she’s telling me that the information I received was wrong, I actually should have been back a week after getting my trial contacts for the follow up with the doctor and then they would have ordered the rest of the contacts for a three month supply. I told her that two different receptionist had told me the same false information and that I was annoyed at the fact that I have been doing all the follow ups and that no one would ever call me or do their jobs right. So I went ahead and went and made my way to the office, got my contacts checked out by a different doctor and told him the story and he apologized. The receptionist wasn’t friendly either, she seemed as if I was bothering her but in reality I was bothered at the unprofessionalism from the staff in the back. How do two different women tell me the same thing? Are they not getting trained right or are they not doing their jobs? So now I’ve already gotten glasses from somewhere else and my insurance covers $150 for either glasses or contacts. Now I’ve gotta pay for the contacts out of pocket because of their mistakes. I don’t recommend this location, the staff is ridiculous for making me do their jobs for them and as I said the third receptionist had an unfriendly demeanor, was talking to me as if it was my fault and I was bothering her. The optometrist were both okay, I don’t think it is their faults but then again I don’t know how things are runned in a optometrist office. I am so disappointed because I been to this location a couple of times, but not ever again after this. There really isn’t any excuse for any of it, I don’t even know if I want to go back to even get my contacts from them and give them my money.

Took my son to Visionworks- Boulevard Location to take advantage of the great promotions! Location is a bit of distance away from home but definitely worth the drive. The staff on the optical side and doctors side were all great and friendly! Diana was very informative over the lens options in regards to my son’s high rx and gave me the best deal possible! Definitely will be returning with the rest of my family!

I had my examination and finally got a good contact lenses prescription. My vision has not changed, my contacts and glasses work perfect for me.
All my contact lenses are ordered online because of the lower prices. When I called the office to have another prescription, they informed me I needed another doctor's examination, in which I responded I didn't need a new examination. My insurance won't cover my examination again until January 2017!
I explained that if they wanted to charge me for another prescription I would not have any problems paying, but I really did not need any changes in my prescription.
Well, needless to say that I was not able to pay to renew my prescription, and because it is expired I can't order on line.
It is very strange that I CAN NOT order for $27.99 per box online, but even with expired prescription I can buy from them for $43.00 per box!
Remember: they are willing to sell to me even though my prescription was expired.
Scandalous! I had no choice but to pay their prices only because I need to see!

I would never recommend this business again.
I stopped in to have my glasses adjusted last night.
The girl was nice when I walked in, I let her know I just needed my glasses adjusted since my dogs had bumped them and they were now fitting funny.
She looked at my glasses and said in a rude tone “ We don’t sell this brand here, I can adjust them but it is on you” ( I have went there to have my glassed fixed previously with no problem)
Then she walks behind the other counter (about 5-7 feet from where I am standing) as she is working on my glasses, I see her making fun of my arms to her co-workers. (I am a size LX and yes I was wearing a sleeveless shirt since it was warm out) I guess that she thought I could not see at all without my glasses on .
Then after fixing my glasses she brings them back to me and the nose piece is still a bit off and the piece behind my ear. So she goes behind the other counter again and goes to fix them while rolling her eyes and making a face, like I am annoying her. (Again, I was only about 5-7 feet from her)
She brings them back to me again and now the glasses are so loose they are falling off of my face. I finally had to ask if there was a Lenscrafters in the Mall which they pointed me in that direction. I ended up going to Lenscrafters to have my glasses fixed correctly and with better service. I will never go back to this store after the rude service I received last night.
