Moved from out of state. I am neurodivergent and did not feel comfortable here. The Dr. turned away from me while telling me all I needed done on my teeth. I was keeping eye contact and then he just turned away and never looked me in the eye again while telling me what work I needed which was very expensive and sounded fake. When I had my cleanings done; the hygienist kept laughing every time I spoke. When taking x-rays, they had me bite down on the device with no plastic coverings. I don’t trust this place.

I went to this dental office after switching to a different dentist back in July. I wanted to get a second opinion and they did a free consultation. They took a few x-rays and other imaging and reassured me that there was nothing immediately visible that needed to be addressed and encouraged me to stick with the new dentist that I started seeing. They were very professional, answered all of my questions, and weren't looking to upsell me on different services.

I am a RN, new to this city. They knew nothing about me when I called West Valley Dental with the worst toothache of my life. I Was seen on the same day and my problem was extensive.
I had the best care of my life. EVERYONE there is amazing, kind, professional and caring. As a nurse I understand that this level of extraordinary care is, unfortunately uncommon. I will be going back as long as I can and I will be referring everyone I know. I am forever grateful.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! First, I am the old patient there for several years. For the implant, they told me the price would be $5K about two weeks ago and it was confirmed with their manager over the phone. Today, when I was there, they told me $8K! I asked them why the prize raised? The answer was there was no record of the $5K offered to me and the manager was not able to memorize that! How can you trust and go to a dentist with no credit and bad faith! I will not go there anymore in the future. If you would like to do any treatment there, I suggest you consult several times and every time the prize would be different!

I luv this doctor. He did 12 crowns for me and they look fabulous! He is so nice and so humble. I've left another dentist for being cocky and him having a big head. I had the same exact experience Corey had below. They told me I needed all this dental work done so I got two other opinions. Both the other dentists said the work seemed to be unnecessary and excessive. Be careful when going to this practice and seek a second opinion if you don't think something's right. One last thing, be careful in the "consultation room."

This is the best dental office in Vegas. My hygienist is incredible. Soft touch and educates you on how to keep your gums healthy.

I’m 68 yo, so Dr. Luong is not my first dentist. There are no words to describe the quality of his care, so I will have to settle for amazing. I am relatively new to Vegas. The first dentist I went to here was horrible. I am so fortunate I selected Dr. Luong. He is genuinely kind, gentle, always smiling, cares about me as a person, and gives the best local anesthetic I have ever received; I don’t feel a thing! The dental hygienist, Kelvin, is outstanding. He spent the required time that was necessary to clean my teeth and again, he cares about how I am doing. As Kelvin cleans my teeth, he monitors my x-rays; he doesn’t clean on the fly. No hygienist has ever been that thorough. I cannot leave out the staff. Again, smiles, polite, accommodating, and cares. I’m a retired nurse of 40 years who spent 25 years in healthcare risk, safety, performance improvement, and cross trained in infection control. I know excellence when I see and experience it.

I have never been so impressed in a medical office than I was today at West Valley. In my life I have had 33 major surgeries, spent over a year total in a hospital and endless hours in doctors offices. 5 weeks ago I had a major spinal surgery and the dental hygienist (sorry I forgot you name again) made sure I was completely comfortable and was extremely understanding of some of my limitations. The dental office is something I’ve always dreaded and was the reason it has been 4 years since my last visit to a different dentist. Well today all my fears were put to rest due to the the excellent staff and the care they provide. There was zero judgement, no lecturing, only positive talk about how we will fix my issues. I have never had a dentist spend so much time in explaining the different issues I have. He assured me we will get my teeth and gums back to a healthy level and I truly believe him. Give this man a trophy for bedside manner. I was so impressed with this office that I reached out to my parents who then immediately made appointments for themselves and my girlfriend will be in touch shortly. I will update after treatment but I have complete confidence that I chose the right dentist and practice. Thank you for showing compassion, being non judgmental and assuring me that we will get this all worked out. What I'm about to write is no exaggeration. I needed a new dental practice since moving from Cali - this was next to my house. I went in and I've had a few cavities and even one crown in my 34 years of being alive but this dentist after one xray review recommended 17 CROWNS. I'm not exaggerating. 17. 20k+ worth of work. This is borderline criminal. I ended up going for a 2nd opinion at a dentist near by without mentioning this - he recommended 1 *possible* cavity and one possible crown. This is just absolutely unacceptable, I get that there can be difference of opinions but 17 crowns?? lol. DO NOT USE this practice.

About 10 years ago I needed a dentist. I saw a new West Valley Dental sign and thought I'd try it out. Since then, I haven't had to look for another dentist. Friends and family were all referred here and they love it, too. Knowledgeable, friendly, and dentist that really cares--going to this office is like being taken care of by a group of very skilled friends rather than a dentist. This place is awesome.

Update 10/28/20:
Just got done with another visit with Dr Luong and team. Painless, friendly, quick, and fairly priced. This place is so friendly and makes everyone feel so comfortable that any anxiety about the actual dental work fades away. They explain everything so there's no surprises and go out or their way to ensure patients are treated like family.

I am very happy to write a review about my visits to West Valley Dental. I found out about this place because I got flyer in my mail box. Flyer was very nice and eye catching, offering free exam and x-rays to a new patients. I thought to myself , I should give it a shout.
Upon arrival I was greeted in very friendly way. I got my free exam and x-rays and professional cleaning for $59 as advertised. Doctor and his assistants answered every question I had.
I returned to West Valley Dental again for Invisalign consultation. And I returned again to get my cavities fixed (urgent visit) and get three crowns. Stuff was very patience with me. Doctor Phu Luong and his assistant Kylie was super nice making sure I am relaxed and have everything I need to feel myself comfortable.
The office is clean. I liked that too. I would recommend West Valley Dental to you and I truly hope my feedback is very helpful to everyone who reads this post. Keep smiling!

I normally hate going to the dentist and especially when we are not at home. But we are on vacation, and my crown fell out. The handsome dentist was so nice. He informed me that the tooth had to be removed, and that he could do that, or I could wait til I got home, but he could not put my crown back in. I decided to wait until I got home, so he bandaged me up so I could enjoy Bacchanal Buffet and all that Las Vegas has to offer. I would like to share my experience since I see they have amazing reviews and those reviews are not true.
First of all I heard doctor is okay and office looks nice and even staff is nice. But they are not there to really help you, they are there to sell you and make money. We went there few days ago My friend was in such a pain, he couldn't even talk and he needed help. Doctor took a look and send him to another place tomorrow which is fine because they don't have surgeon and that's also not a problem. Problem is that when they finished exam right away they start to sell cleaning and they started talking to take wisdom teeth out, they didn't even mentioned the tooth we came and ask help for. They send him home with no prescription or any help how to survive the night in pain. And doctors shouldn't do that they are there to help us. In all this sale they also told us they can bribe us and give us better price if we write nice review and that's how they have 4.9 stars. In the end I ask them to give us x rays, they said they can't release since we didn't pay for exam ( we had coupon). We said we going to pay to have them . They charged us 70$ and print them on A4 paper. Can you believe? 70$ for a paper. Anyway we found way better places near by and you should check them out as well. Don't trust reviews they bribe people for them. You should avoid this place because they are there to sell not to help you. Very, very disappointed and angry.

I am so thoroughly happy with West Valley Dental that I will be regularly coming from out-of-state to be their patient. I’ve had poor luck with dentists in my Arizona hometown. My aunt, who lives in Las Vegas recommended Dr. Luong because she’s been happy with her care and they could do my treatment for less than the quote I had received in Arizona. So I decided to drive 4 hours to give them a try.

My experience was great! Dr. Luong and his team were kind, efficient, and very thorough. They took care of my original needs very well, and brought my attention to some serious wear to my teeth from clenching and grinding. He thoroughly explained my issues and showed me pictures as well. None of the 5 dentists I’ve seen back home in the last 5 years had warned me about these problems when I could’ve taken inexpensive and easy measures to prevent the now extensive repairs that need to be done. Regardless, I’ll be going back to West Valley Dental for the work that needs to be done and for my future cleanings and check-ups. I highly recommend them to anyone in Las Vegas, or elsewhere!

UPDATE: Yes, it's 5 Star Time, kids! I'd reserved that last star and just given 4 for my last review, as it was the first time I'd been to WVD and hadn't had any work done yet.
Well, THAT has now most certainly changed, and, 3 crowns and a deep cleaning later, I am delighted to now award the well-deserved 5th Star to the Delightful Dr. Luong and his SuperStaff! Ok, not gonna lie; sitting in a dentist's chair for almost 3 hours with folks (even phenomenally nice, caring, well-qualified ones like Dr. Luong, Kim, and Belle,) sticking this and that in your mouth, is nobody's idea of a good time. Well...nobody who doesn't need a therapist, anyway. But, unlike some of my other dental experiences, after which I really DID need some therapy (for PTSD; Pretty Terrible Sub-par Dentistry), my experience at WVD was absolutely as positive as it could be . Ok, hearing that you need 9 crowns (3 down!) is enough to give you PTSD to begin with, but, at WVD, the procedures themselves are as gentle and professional as they can be. Dr. Luong is supersensitive to his patient's experience and asks continuously if you are feeling any pain or want to take a break. And, when all was said and done, my new crowns fit PERFECTLY and look fabulous! I'm finding myself wanting to show them to total strangers... in fact, I actually did that to a women whom I overheard complaining about her own negative dental experiences when I was in line at Lowe's. I now carry some WVD business cards and gave her one...yes, I am the WVD Spokesmodel.

I also had two GREAT deep cleanings with Karen and....oh, shoot....it starts with a V (and I've never heard that name before, so I get a pass,) who made my head about a pound lighter after they'd finished all that scraping and de-gunkification (yes, that is an actual dental term...that I just made up. : )
The caring and kindness (and, believe it or not, the actual fun!) of going to this awesome dental practice isn't limited to just the procedures, either, The front office staff (all very proficient at their jobs,) make going to WVD feel like hanging out with your cool friends! Staci never fails to crack me up, and Denise is the sweetest person, ever. And they are also really good at finding ways to make it all as affordable as possible...they have great in-house specials and referral bonuses!
So, here's how much I love, trust, and believe in this practice: I had my son, who has had very poor experiences with his own dentist, come in allllll the way from Flagstaff, AZ to get his teeth taken care of. No lie! WVD was on vacation, but very kindly got him an appointment over at their sister-clinic, A-1 Dental, which is also fabulous. And now my nephew, who also lives in Flagstaff, is coming to WVD, as well. GOOD DENTISTS ARE GOLD! At this rate, my entire clan will be WVD groupies....well, maybe not the ones who live in Denver and Chicago, but I'm trying!

I could go on and on (yes, even more than I already have,) about how much I love this practice and how very grateful I am to them. If I omitted anyone by name, forgive me--you are ALLLL awesome! So, if you are wondering about making WVD your new dental home, wonder no more; make your mouth happy and pick up that phone! Seriously....DO IT! (and tell them that Maia (with the 3 Great Crowns,) sent you : )

I brought my 19 year old son and 10 year old daughter to West Valley Dental for the first time today. We all agreed that the staff is friendly and efficient. We’re happy with our cleanings and the atmosphere. The exam is the most thorough I’ve ever experienced.

West Valley Dental always provides exceptional service . Dr. Phu long is the best there’s is . He is always very pleasant and aprovechable. In addition, he has great skill , and does amazing work . Truly happy with him . My dental hygienist is also so precise ,efficient, and has great skill . I visited for the first time this past Tuesday, the 7th of May, and it was fantastic. EVERYONE there is so professional, hard-working, caring, and great to talk to. The specific people who helped me were Denise, Stacy, Viona, Erin, Belle, and of course, Dr. Luong (apologies if I misspelled names).

But, ladies & gentlemen, my expectations were exceeded after my visit. It was my first time seeing a dentist in 3-5 years, so I received an exam and professional cleaning, and looking forward to the future work I need done here, which is not much. Mt wife and I are very picky on which dentist to go to, but we heard great things about West Valley, and I am so thankful that I stopped in. If you're looking for an efficient, caring, high quality service with your dental work - Dr. Luong and the crew is the place to go.

I called ahead to verify that I can make an appointment and can be seen by this dentist office and when I got there, they must have lost my paper work and made me myself call my insurance for the information they needed instead of the dentist office doing they're job and calling them selves. Waited for an hour and come to find out they didn't evem accept my insurance. I recieved no apologies nor a happy thanksgiving for the holidays. By far worst experience of my life I do not recommend this practice to anyone
