This is my family doctor. I normally schedule appointments days or weeks out. However, I had an emergency root canal that I needed to have done as a result of a tooth that cracked. I needed to see Dr. White before my procedure would be done. My blood pressure as too high as a result of the pain I was in from the cracked and infected tooth. I did an emergency walk in and was seen on the spot. My blood pressure was stabilized after seeing Dr. White. This helped me get to my dentist and get my root canal done and relieve the excruciating pain that I was in. I’m so grateful that I was able to be seen on such short notice. I was in a lot of pain and they took care of me right away.

I sat down to wait and was called into examining room immediately. Intake nurse confirmed my prescriptions, took my vitals and indicated Dr White would be in shortly.

My wait was less than five minutes.

We discussed my blood and urine tests. He gave me a cursory exam and scheduled a visit for June and handed me a prescription for tests prior to that visit.

Confirmed my appointment at the front desk for June 3 and was on my way.

Start to finish was 20-25 minutes. I was delighted and headed off to a relaxing lunch

I had a great experience with Dr. White and the office staff. Everyone was soo nice and very professional… Being able to joke with them was very inviting. (Don’t take yourself serious, just take your job serious) Dr. White made sure I was able to let him know my issues. The desk staff was very rude to my wife. She was 10 minutes late, but called ahead of time and they told her to show up but when she showed up, they told her that she could not see the doctor and shoot her away like a fly. You merged with another company without notifying patients. I never received the so called email. Too cheap to send out a letter to patients who supported your office for years. It’s all about the money….not really concerned with patients and health care. Left several patients without a doctor. If you really were concerned about caring for people you would have provided all your patients with information about the merge and options for continued health care providers. But once again corporate gets you more money!

I used to love this Drs office and referred anyone who asked about a doctor, and Dr. White has always been good to me. But the office lately is terrible. The girls are rude, they never answer, hardly call you back. I’ve left a message for the office manager , never heard from them. They act like I’m bothering them when I try to make an appt even though Dr. White is my primary care provider and is suppose to get me in within 48 hours. The last office staff I spoke with told me they are booked up for 2 weeks and she didn’t know what to tell me. I think I Will have to change primary care after all these years .

Scam artist! Do not come here! They waited till my entire appointment was over to tell me my insurance was not accepted then proceeded to charge me the full amount of the appointment. This is ridiculous and outrageous! Before taking me back you should validate the insurance especially since I made it clear at the beginning of my appointment and when booking the appointment on the phone my insurance had change. My mom called to make a appointment today and she asked to speak to someone in spanish because she wanted to explain what's happening to her. They transfer her to a women, this lady would talk to my mom in English while my mom talked in spanish. My mom kindly asked her to talk in spanish so she can understand and she said in English " no good". My mom felt bad. If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr. White runs a practice that doesn't have any respect for their customer/patient base. The scheduling, payment staff are RUDE and downright inept. Dr. White has a very high turnover rate on PAs (apparently, he can't afford to staff actual doctors). In the last three years I saw 5 different PAs. The last PA I saw admitted the practice double books for the money. Recently my wait times have jumped to around 2 hours where I have to wait to be seen.

The coup de gras was the last time I was in a brand new PA, fresh out of school, told me he would no longer fill my regular monthly subscription because he didn't want to. He demanded to make me try multiple medications until I found another that could help me. I TRIED EVERYTHING. The more I think about it the more i'm convinced they are trying to force patients to take medication they get kickbacks or discounts on. No!! I will not let Dr. White and his errand boy Aaron Powell treat me with such disrespect. I will NOT be a guinea pig for new medication and I will NOT take medication just so he can get a cut from pharma profits.

Don't go to Dr. White and Ensign Family Medicine. You will regret it!!!

My family has been seeing Dr. White for 12 years since he opened his practice.We have not found a more caring doctor in Las Vegas. They now have a better system so the wait isn't that long if you make an appointment.
Like any staff, if you show them respect, they will do the same in return. Never a problem. I also like that they have a lab on site for needed blood work. Their PA's are way more experienced and friendly then others in Vegas.

I've been Dr. White's patient since 2011 and he is a wonderful doctor. Excellent bedside manner, very thorough and really takes the time to listen to you. His staff is courteous and efficient. I, personally, have never had a problem with his staff. I had an issue with my labs being sent to Quest instead of Labcorp (my fault for not letting the lab tech know which lab to send it to) and was charged, Ruby the office manager helped to resolve the issue. I have no doubt that if you have a problem, the office manager would make sure to address the problem quickly.
I have sent many friends here and they are also very satisfied!!

Also, I have read complaints of wait times and I have never waited more that 10 min. I do not get the sense that patients are being herded in and out of his office. It is quite peaceful in the waiting room and in the back where patients are being seen. Realistically, it's not unusual to wait 30-40 min for a doctor's appointment, but that has never happened with my appointments there.

We are reluctantly going to change primary provider physicians. Dr. White is wonderful but his staff is hopelessly indifferent. I had an occasion last fall when I was out of one of my blood pressure meds, called the office, and nobody ever called me back. The last straw was this past week when I had an appointment with a dermatologist and got to her office to find out that the referral had never been sent, so I could not be seen and went there for nothing. As of today, 5 days later, the dermatologist's office has still not received the referral. Dr. White is professional, knowledgeable, and kind, but even he is not worth the hassle of dealing with his "support" staff.

If you are an MGM Resorts employee do not bother trying to book an appointment here. They are several weeks if not a month out on bookings. (( Unless...you have the direct care plan )) In that case, you can get an appointment the next day apparently? Hard lesson learned here and very frustrating change that I was not aware of. Too bad, because Dr. White is a very good Doctor. If....you can get in to see him. Ill be forced to go elsewhere unfortunately.
