I have been going to Wigwam Dental for many years and have never been disappointed.

Today I want to highlight Diana. Recently, I was in pain and needed to be seen quickly. She went above and beyond to get me an emergency appointment and everything worked out well.

Doctor Ellen was also understanding and created a good treatment plan.

Like many people, I usually feel some anxiety about going to the dentist, but my visit to Wigwam Dental completely changed that. From the moment I walked in, the office felt calm and welcoming, starting with the front desk’s excellent customer service and warm greeting from Diana (yes, like Diana, Princess of Wales, lol).

Scheduled an appointment for a dental exam, day before scheduled appointment got a call saying that they had to change my appointment... Scheduled a new appointment and when I showed up my appointment wasn't in the system... Took the day off of work , and it was an extreme inconvenience. Not gonna bother rescheduling.

Diana and the staff were all amazing! Diana followed up with me consistently and continued to answer any questions I had for her, the rest of the staff was very attentive, always came by to check on my and asked if I needed anything, and instead of one doctor they had several doctors working together and coming up with solutions to help me take care of my teeth, you can tell that everyone there genuinely cared. Thanks to Doctor Ellen and her incredible staff, I was able to leave the clinic pain free. I had a lot of pain from my tooth. I had to walk in with no appointment. This place is a joke. I went last week for what I thought was a cleaning, x-rays and a wisdom teeth referral. Turns out, they schedule each individual service as a separate appointment. I got my X-rays after waiting in the waiting room for 30 min past my appointment time, and just about another hour in the chair just to find out they dont do cleanings the same day because they need to "evaluate" my teeth first. They told me it was just going to be regular cleaning and to come back next week.
I arrive to that appointment, and again I dont get called back until 30 min after my appointment time. I get my teeth polished by someone and that was fine. The next lady came in with that electric drill to remove plaque and she was horrific. She accidentally hit my gums (very hard) with that drill, leaving a cut on my gums for more than 6 hours after I left. then when I flinched, she yelled at someone to grab the mirror and said "you hold this" in an aggressive tone. She said "this wouldn't have happened if you brushed your teeth better." Im 23, I know how to brush my teeth and she's telling me I need a deep cleaning. Believe me, my teeth are NOT in need of a deep cleaning. I tell her no, just a regular cleaning like I scheduled for.
Im on my way out the front desk lady said "The dentist would like to see you back in one week" for what?? She said "a check up" A check up??? They have been in my mouth twice in two weeks, what could you possibly need to check up on?? Then she said they are charging $18 for a "debridement." I got a regular cleaning, so I asked, what is a debridement? They said, "it's the pre-cleaning before you get the deep cleaning." To which I said "I am not getting a deep cleaning, I only got a cleaning." They didn't care, they said "it will be $18."

I looked up a debridement. a debridement is a deep cleaning. a cleaning before a deep cleaning does not exist. They are so clearly scamming insurances by having their patients come in for each individual service on different days. The doctors are snappy and impatient. DO NOT GO HERE.

I can’t speak highly enough about my experience at WigWam Dental!!!!! The office is clean, comfortable and the staff is friendly. They even have clean fresh blankets to comfort you! Dr Ellen performed the opus treatment, fillers, and Botox on me. I am so grateful to her! Dr Ellen gave me back my self esteem! She is kind, professional, and her work is AMAZING ! She’s an artist! I got a crown put on here about a year ago and it came off so I stopped by the clinic to see if I could get it cemented back on, well..... I was told by the front desk that since my Insurance changed I would need to pay for an emergency visit, the doctors time, x-rays AND the cement to put it back on. I paid $500 out of pocket plus whatever the insurance paid them and they can't afford 50 cents to cement it back on. Apparently there is no quarentee on their work and a crown is not expected to last more than a year. I already left an office for putting money ahead of their clients and will not go back here either.
Update; Saw new dentist and my tooth is now dead. There is an infection throughout the whole tooth due to decay that was left behind and the crown not being sealed properly I now need to see a specialist to see if the tooth can even be saved.

Horrible experience with wigwam and lake meade dental *same owner and manager Ellan and Sabina 2 locations. sadly my family has used lake meade dental for almost 20 years and we now are using a more honest dental with Hillcrest dental.
I trusted wigwam dental with teeth implants 7 years ago and they have now referred me to Dr. Johnson a face and oral surgeon to have them to be removed immediately due to improperly being placed (per surgeon as well as lake meade deal and wigwam also Hillcrest that the implants were not placed properly) Dr. Ellen the owner will try every way possible to over talk you and deny in wrong doing
if you are looking for anything cosmetic or implants do not go to either location because they do horrible work..I now will be suing them for pain and suffering as I have a lawyer also reported them to the dental board. sadly Dr. Ellan is not a good dentist at all.
instead of being compassionate about her poor dental work she deny it and hides from your phone call (also check out this dentist on yelp! )
there are so many dentists in vegas just don't go here

First important detail, I hate the dentist. But this place, AMAZING! The staff is attentive and personable. The wait time is minimal and I’ve been able to make appropriately timed appointments with ease. Dr. Khoramshahi is not only one of the most talented dentists I have had work on me, but kind, friendly and patient. My son had his first fillings and even an extraction done here and everyone was professional and courteous. I feel comfortable and like my son and I are in the best hands possible. The worst dental care ever! The over weight woman dentist left on the middle of a root canal to go work on another patient. The assistant took over and made a crown too large and glued it in with permanent glue! I could not close my jaw! The only way to remove it was to extract the whole tooth! Then she says "Sorry we couldn't save it" I should have sued them!

They would rather have you waist your time then them do their job. You have to do it for them. And Noone knows what the other person is talking about I was told I could have a appointment next week was about to set it up when I got put on hold then someone else came on the line with no clue as to what was going on, couldn't access email or anything so why even get on the phone, that person was just a waist of time and rude as well. I am brand new to Nevada after moving here from New York and I had to find a dentist. Happily I found wigwam dental care, they are the nicest and best dentist I’ve ever had. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Something like 15 years. I recently had some painful emergencies and was reminded that I have always been treated with compassion by this staff. Wigwag is the location I am used to but for convenience I went to their Lake Mead location and same thing... The kindness and attentiveness was palpable. I appreciate everyone at both locations. I LOVE Dr. Ellen. I've been to at least 7 other dentists in town. She's my favorite. She does great work and isn't just trying to find more issues for billing purposes. Shes extremely knowledgeable . I left her once bc sometimes you have to wait long in the chair but I came back bc she is that good. It only takes long bc she gives time to each patient. She is a very caring person. Everyone there is really nice but I have to mention Fabi, the dental assistant. She's amazing!! Diana who works at the front desk is my go-to on that side. Shes really helped me when I've had concerns or emergencies. Overall, I'm a difficult patient so the fact that they still treat me with professionalism and care says a lot. LOVE.

When I got my teeth cleaned last year...it was suugested I get a water pick ...have to say it has helped with keeping my teeth clean. Well, I have kind of had it with this practice. I had an appointment today at 10:00 AM made about a month ago and they couldn't find me on schedule. They were "sorry" (repeatedly) but that doesn't change I had to make changes to my work schedule only to be turned away as they are 'short staffed'. I was told due to prior issues at this practice that I would be seeing the owner/founder of the facility but that didn't happen. I expressed previous issues where I would be placed in a chair with absolutely no person coming in for sometimes 30 or more minutes and that I had walked out 3-4 times previously. I also expressed that a crown I had done by a dentist that is no longer there didn't seat properly and I have bitten the inside of my cheek to the point it is all scarred. Now, I continue with a broken tooth that probably will be extracted and another broken lower molar that I feel confident can be repaired but who knows...I can't seem to get in. They did offer to set an appointment about 30 days out but I declined and said I will be filing a complaint with whatever board governs the dental practice industry. This place is disorganized and haphazard in how they treat patients. I don't see me going back unless I can find no options that take my insurance!

If you want a really good dentist. One that cares about the patient. This is the place. The office staff is just as good. This is a really great dental office. I have been a client at for a number of years and they just get better all the time. Dr Ellen especially.

I’m a long term patient of Dr Ellen. Having experienced multiple types of dental work. I can honestly say there is no one I trust more with my dental health. Yes often the visits can run longer than I expect, but her care and expertise make it worth while. I am thrilled by how good my teeth look. Would recommend Dr Ellen to anyone in need of a great dentist.

Had a great experience with both doctors and staff. Had a lot of work done - cleanings, fillings, bridges and even zoom whitening. Amazing results! Dr Ellen was great with making a priority list and making sure I understand what needs to be done and why. Front desk worked wth my insurance, preauthirized every procedure, so I knew my copays every time i had an appointment. Thank you, Wigwam Dental for an amazing experience!

Worst dentist office in Nevada by far! Dental hygienist assistant was awful and rough, not thorough on cleaning. They also tried to say I needed a procedure done that I already had at another dental office just to try to get more money for an implant procedure. Cancelled an appointment and they said I owe a 35 dollar fee! Never again! Do not go to these scammers! All they want is money!

If I could give ZERO stars I would this place has the WORST RUDE STAFF ever. They literally got mad at me for swallowing while they are working in my mouth I am sorry that I don't want to CHOKE on my own spit. Then they rushed my filling just so they could go home on time. They literally don't care about their patients at all. WORST PLACE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE.

So once again, today , Just like so many times for the last 20 or so years I have been coming to WIGWAM DENTAL, , they came to my rescue before I even came in to the office !!! I am in a wheelchair now and I wasn’t able to get my chair out of the trunk !!! So thinking that I was going to have to go back home for help and be late for my appointment , I had no idea of what to do !! Well out of nowhere this beautiful young lady came out of the office and said “ do you need help ?? “. Obviously I was astonished with basically a lack of words but I did explain my situation and she said “ don’t worry I can help you “ !!! So she proceeded to get the parts of my wheelchair over to me and I was still in awe at the kindest gesture from someone I never met before !!! So as the story goes I was basically on time for my appointment, had another wonderful visit and once again I understood why I have been so loyal to Wigwam Dental “. Well, better yet, when my appointment was over this new employee , Antoinette, And her coworker Diana once again came out to help me put my wheelchair into my trunk and I was blessed with another beautiful day !!! So thank you WIGWAM DENTAL for over 20 years of gracious and personal help for myself and my family !!! You guys are the greatest !!! I love you !!!

In the 10 years that Dr Ellen has been my dentist at wigwam dental care, her work has always been excellent. She goes above and beyond any dentist I've ever seen. There's no such a thing as an "ok jobs" with her. And not only is she the ultimate professional she is equally compassionate and caring as a person. I cannot give high enough praise for Dr Ellen and Wigwam Dental.
