not URGENT, lousy CARE ! I arrived just munutes prior to their 8 am open. The only staff member there said " well,we are not ready" . I said, well isn't this an URGENT CARE facility? She quipped" well, if it is urgent,go to the emergency room at a hospital. The staff straggled in AFTER their posted open time. When I finally was let in to see their " expert" , it was the same person with the obtuse attitude who so rudely told me to wait, or go to an emercency room. Not an MD by the way.She displayed the same flippant attitude regarding my "CARE".......THEN REFUSED TO PRESCRIBE ANY MEDICATION. Avoid this sub par facility.

Three times I have seen the providers at this urgent care clinic and all three times the care has been superlative. The NP Danielle is approachable, caring, knowledgeable and professional. The nurse practitioner I saw was lazy and uninterested in helping. She didn't seem to know what I had and instead of doing bloodwork and trying to figure things out she just gaslighted me. As far as the extreme exhaustion I told her i had she literally said that since I got to her office and I can walk then she is not concerned about the extreme lethargy. There you have it folks. If you are not bleeding out of your eyeballs and you can walk then your fine. Stop being a whiney.

Absolutely amazing experience!!! I got helped by Lei Lani and she made me feel so comfortable! I came in for some personal stuff, and was super nervous. But after being helped along with talking with her I really felt like I could open up! Uncomfortable walking in, but an absolute pleasure to have been helped by her walking out! She listened to me while I cried about what was going on and not once did I feel an ounce of judgment or anything but understanding from her! Make an appointment ahead of time so that you do not have to wait so long! I learned the hard way. Once I did get taken back, I spoke with nurse and doctor and was on my way in less than 30 minutes. I went in with a broken (injured) toe. The exam room is carpeted with no medical supplies. I expected the “doctor” to remove my homemade bandage, ask questions, examine my toe, give me care tips and refer me for xray, then bandage my toe properly. Very disappointed in the level of care. Nothing was done except one question “Can you move it” and I had to ask for an xray. This is the level of care in medicine now?

I experienced severe abdominal pain about a week ago and decided to go to urgent care, thinking it would provide immediate help. It was almost noon, so I searched for urgent care facilities nearby and chose this one based on its reviews.

The staff were polite and approachable, but the quality of care I received was deeply concerning. Despite being in intense pain, I was first required to complete several pages of online paperwork. After a long wait, I was seen by a nurse practitioner who asked a few questions but did not perform any physical examination—not even a basic check of my abdomen.

She administered a shot for nausea and prescribed a painkiller. There was no referral, recommendation for further testing, or suggestion that I might need emergency care.

Later that afternoon, when the pain became unbearable, I went to the ER. The next morning, I had emergency surgery for appendicitis.

I am sharing this in the hope of helping others avoid a similar experience. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE CHOOSING THIS URGENT CARE -ESPECIALLY FOR SERIOUS OR WORSENING SYMPTOMS.

I signed up for an ongoing program with this Urgent Care, with a set timeframe and set fees. I would prefer to keep the progam itself vague as it related to a medical issue but want to relay my experience with CareFirst.

This program was meant to be over 4 months. I got one month in and showed up for my scheduled weekly appointment only to be told the program was discontinued. No next steps or refunds. I was on a medication and left completely hanging, with no easing off or suggested alternate locations. I had to start this medication completely from the begining with a new doctor.

In addition, my phone calls were not returned in that first month when I was adjusting to the medication. I had to go in-person to resolve issues. I was incorrectly billed 7 times in one month. I had to call corporate CareFirst billing to sort out issues. I was charged for bloodwork that was advertised to be included in the program. This was billed through my insurance, which I had not agreed to.

I am STILL having side effects from the discontinued medication and am still fighting unexpected charges and billings through my insurance which was never supposed to be involved in this program. CareFirst Summerlin is a mess, with a revolving door of new employees that cannot accurately bill or return phone calls to answer questions. There is not a doctor on site- my visits were all with a nurse who wasn't very friendly and made me uncomfortable.

I don't know about other locations, but I'd advise staying away from the Summerlin location because being on medication is hard enough without the many issues I encountered over a few weeks.

I received such great care from the front desk care to seeing the NP. I wish I remembered their name. So for the stuff who worked on (8/3/24) after 2pm, thank you. The NP was caring, patient and empathetic to my needs. Great facility and highly recommend it.

From walking in the door, it was a great experience. The nurse Danella took care of me and helped get me registered then I immediately went back to the room where I met the provider Kelly, who was extremely thoughtful, and gave me a lot of great information. When I had Additional questions about my insurance the manager Sherron was there and helped me get the answers I needed absolutely recommend this place, I was in and out of that office in less than 45 minutes.

Went to urgent care for a fairly large and deep cut on my lip from an accident. I had already been bleeding for a while and was panicking. Danielle at the desk was so freaking helpful. She really went out of her way to help me with intake, as i was completely overwhelmed. Dawn was the person who helped me and fixed me up. She was calm and kind. She referred to other providers she trusted to make sure we made the best decision for me. There was talk of visiting a plastic surgeon, we decided that wasn’t for me. She prepared me that I would scar and gave me stitches. I went back today to get them out and she was awesome again! Definitely would come back again if I needed care. the stitches weren’t too expensive and covered the entire process; putting them in, insurance, and removal. Over all they made a fairly traumatic experience easy and as pleasant as it could be. Thanks Dawn and Dannielle and also the other young lady with dark hair at the desk today. I didn’t get her name but she was excellent as well!

CareFirst urgent Care summerlin is not far from my home about 6 minutes so that's convenient. The office was clean the ladies in the office were very nice and helpful very welcoming great hospitality and great customer care. And my mother was in and out
