Recently took my daughter in for a sport's physical and general wellness check. I was able to get an appointment the same day. The office was clean, well kept, front desk Katrina was very pleasant and knowledgeable, Sam at the front desk greeted us promptly we felt acknowledged right away. I asked MA's Nigel and Erin for information about my daughter's vaccines and they made me feel more at ease. Shae was our MA and she was so patient with my daughter's vision exam! Maria gave my girl her vaccines and was phenomenal! Super fast. Our provider Shadi was also very efficient, we didn't have to wait long at all. Overall 10/10 experience, we missed our favorite, Dr. LaMotte, but still had a great experience with a provider we didn't know. I've trusted this office with my daughters for years, they always seem to care, highly recommended!!

It has been an absolute nightmare to bring my sons here. The wait times have gotten astronomical, they had me waiting with my newborn almost an hour at an appointment once. They do not take their time when they are with you and often times I felt like my concerns were brushed off by the doctor. You can barely call them because their lines are always full. All they care about is money. Their self pay amount went from $80 to $190 to $209 without any notice. I tried to cancel an appointment through an email they sent me and it didn’t work. Instead of calling me to reschedule my appointment and check in on my sons health. They’ve just been sending me a bill to pay the no show fee over and over again. I even called and talked to someone and went in person to explain but apparently no one cares enough to remove the charge considering I am self pay. Mind you they just got bought by Zarminali and have had 0 grace with their transition.

13 years ago, I choose weecare because our insurance changed (again) and this office was close to my house. I've never looked back. A year later, I took my 4 month old in 5 minutes to closing with an emergency, Dr. B. and his staff were patient, understanding and kind and saved me a trip to the ER.
Even though I personally would love the wait times to be less- I understand that it is because the Dr's. are helping others and never leave an exam room until all questions are answered. We love Dr. Ian and have no plans to leave Wee Care anytime soon

I had a great experience at this pediatric office. The staff is always friendly, professional, and welcoming which makes visits much less stressful for both parents and kids. The doctors take the time to listen to concerns, explain things clearly, and never make you feel rushed.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of care we received during our recent visits.

As parents, we trust our pediatrician to guide us when our child is sick. Unfortunately, that trust was not met. At our first visit, after our daughter had already been battling a respiratory infection for three weeks, we were essentially told to “let it run its course.” The appointment felt like a complete waste of time and money, with no clear plan of action.

We returned for a wellness visit and again raised concerns that our daughter was still struggling with a severe upper respiratory infection, including thick green mucus and a persistent cough. We were prescribed “preventative” treatments — breathing treatments, an inhaler, and cough syrup — but no further testing or evaluation was offered.
After two additional weeks with no improvement — and our daughter even experiencing a reaction to the breathing treatments — I returned to the office in tears asking what the next step would be. I specifically asked about imaging, antibiotics, or a referral to a specialist. I was told they had “done all they could” and was advised to take her to the emergency room if we wanted imaging or bloodwork.

That response was unacceptable. A pediatric office should be capable of ordering appropriate testing or referring to a specialist when a child has been sick for over a month without improvement. Suggesting we go to the ER to spend thousands of dollars for basic diagnostic steps felt dismissive and irresponsible.

It left me questioning whether, had I scheduled and paid another $60 copay that day, our concerns would have been taken seriously — or if we would have once again paid only to feel dismissed.
After weeks of feeling helpless, this experience ultimately led us to seek a new pediatrician.

Families deserve proactive care, clear guidance, and to feel heard — especially when a child has been sick for an extended period of time.

Wee Care is one of the best pediatric centers in Las Vegas, their staff is like another family to us and Dr. Ian Childs is one of the best pediatricians I have discovered. I went to him as a child and now my children absolutely love him and is one of the very few doctors that my daughter will allow to work with her. He is thorough and leaves hardly any room for error and when it's time to go to the doctors, it's more of a pleasure instead of a hassle.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Bakerink for 17 years. This is his last year with him and we can’t say enough about his care as well as all his staff. First time meeting Brady, his P. A. and he was friendly and engaging. Everyone in the office is friendly and works well together. My daughter is almost 3 months old and Dr. Bakerink and his staff have been absolutely amazing every time she has an appointment. They are gentle, caring, and so wonderful with her and very informative to me about her health. I highly recommend this pediatrician if you are expecting or have children. Dr. Bakerink came to the hospital himself before we were discharged and checked her over. He's so friendly, and such a nice guy! Just had our daughter checkup yesterday with him and he was so great! Dr B is hands down the best pediatrician in Las Vegas. I’ve trusted him with my children over 21yrs at this point, if not a little longer. He truly cares about all his patients, I never feel rushed and he addresses all my concerns as well as any concern my children may have. For urgent situations he also has his own urgent care, which is amazing because I’m not having to be the middleman between 2 busy offices or systems, an urgent care visit test being lost due to miscommunication, Dr B has access to all the notes/tests from in office as well as urgent care visits, which gives me peace of mind knowing nothing is going to get lost. My children love him, they all feel/felt very comfortable during their visits and look forward to going in no matter what the appointment is for. His staff are just as amazing as he is, we’ve never had an unpleasant experience, over 21yrs, 3 children and not one unpleasant experience says a lot about Dr B, his practice and his staff. I’m so thankful I found Dr B and the WeeCare Family.

I recently started taking my daughter her. I had an issue with the medication my daughter was prescribed. I left multiple messages and no one has contacted me. I liked the office but it does not feel like her doctor cares very much. The office is nice overall but it is hard to contact someone and you can leave a message but no one gets back to you. I believed it was an ok pediatric care, until their system for scheduling started doing fraudulent things, I always received reminder text the day prior or day of being a new parent again I’ve always love that cause mind be everywhere. Office decided they want to send stuff via email now which never opted in for email nor do I check as often l, never received any sort of reminder via email before been coming here since 2021 with my daughter. Their NO CALL NO SHOW FEE 75$ I believe they make sure you miss appointment so they can bill the 75 any chance they can, the receptionist told me in office there scheduling system has been acting up lately the day following the appointment missed. Yet they still make you responsible if you miss the appt to charge fees beware everyone they scamming . I see you guys responded an for some reason I can’t respond back directly, but I know for sure I have yet to receive a call from you all so stating you’ve tried reaching out is false information, also in regards to the no call no show rule I’ve always knew about that an always honored it, as I initially stated I’ve been coming to this off for quite some time an felt wrong doings due to the lady in the office giving mixed information, because even when I went to appointment on 10/30 they still never mentioned the fee an I asked about it due to the 10/29 appt that was never fully confirmed on my end like all the rest of my appts I’ve ever been to, never been late or did no call no show, normally would call an cancel if I know I can’t make it I’m sure all this info is in the system. As I stated before the receptionist in office stated that you guys have been having issues with the scheduling, which it seems to be causing problems for patients . If you go towards the ending of the day be known that The Medical Assistants will be lazy sitting where the computers are at at the hallways gossiping and talking. I’m sure they know the walls are paper thin so very unprofessional. I was upset because the assistant kept telling me 3x over that the Doctor would be right in. The assistant was done with me at 4:40pm, it was 5:15pm when I finally decided to walk out. NONE of the assistants said bye even though I was upset, they could’ve attempted to make it better but they’re all young and most likely gossiping. I’m extremely disappointed in Dr Bakerink since I’ve been going to him for a LONG TIME!! For all 3 of my children and I drive across town just to see him. If you want to go to a clinic with medical staff gossiping and telling you lies such as the Doctor will be in very soon and shortly but never does go here!

Thank you Doctor Ian for being always patient answering to all of our questions and concerns. Unlikely to some other doctors where they slam or shoot words at you and tries to rush you out, I love how he speaks slowly so that my husband will also understand (he’s not a good English speaker), tries to use familiar words instead of being too specialized, and at the end he makes sure that we cleared our concerns. Super professional.
Wait might get a little long but absolutely worth it. He is answering to all concerns what their parents are having and that’s why the wait gets long sometimes.

I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and not once have I had a bad experience with this pediatric office, as soon as we walked in everyone in the front was so welcoming, the medical assistant that provided care for my children was so sweet and answered all of my questions and got the best feedback!
