Dr. Khan treated someone very close to me during a recent hospital stay, and the experience was extremely disappointing. He showed little compassion or concern for his patient. During the procedure, she asked questions that he completely ignored, leaving her anxious and confused. After surgery, he never took the time to go over his findings or explain what had happened.

It took multiple requests over several days before he finally came to speak with her, and when he did, he acted as though she was inconveniencing him just for wanting answers about her own health. His bedside manner was dismissive and unprofessional, and his overall attitude made an already stressful situation much worse.

If you have a choice, I would strongly recommend seeking care from a different physician who takes the time to treat patients with respect, empathy, and basic human decency.

My husband had to get pre-op clearance and Dr Khan was able to check an irregular EKG. We got in to see him quickly and received notifications and emails confirming appt and the info package needed for the appointment right away si we could bring to the appointment. Dr Khan is the most amazing and compassionate cardiologist! I went in to get a vein ablated and he found a hole in my heart. After he was done fixing it I didn't have headaches anymore and my hands and feet were warmer!

He did let me know that this is something that could impact my adult children so I asked for them to be tested. They agreed and he found a hole in my daughter's heart! She was pregnant so a Pediatric Cardiologist was involved during my daughter's pregnancy. My granddaughter was born with a hole in her heart but it closed naturally by the time she was 2 years old.

Dr. Khan has been I and my husbands cardiologist since we moved to Las Vegas. He is caring and takes time to listen to you without hurrying. He found and fixed a hole I had in my heart that could have taken my life years ago but thanks to Dr. Kahn I am well and happy. If you are looking for a caring and excellent cardiologist Dr. Kahn is it!!!

Doctor Khan is a wonderful doctor by his staff is rudespecially the scheduler my wife was supposed to be scheduled for angel gram and 2 months later I'm calling back in for back-and-forth all the schedules on vacation or the schedule will call you back all the schedule at this the scheduler thatwo months later for upper angel gram that was supposed to be done because the doctor saw something disturbing here we are 2 months later still waiting for appointment to get in for the angeogram at the hospital Unprofessional the staff

I have been a patient of Dr. Khan since 2022 of this year. I had terrible swelling and water retention in my legs. I lived with terrible pain in my pelvis area for years, little did I know that the pain I was having was from a blocked artery in my groined. Dr. Khan gave me my life back. He found that my artery was blocked 60%, it was an artery that allowed the blood to flow to my legs and was causing all the pain in my pelvis. He put me a stent, and now I am pain free. No swelling, no water retention, no pain. I am so grateful to Dr. Khan. I highly recommend him as a cardiologist. Thank you again for giving me my life back!!!

I'm having chest pain and went there in January and I have not received the results. No one called me I had to call them had an appointment today went there and got an ekg I ask about my out of control blood pressure but it did not seem to be important; this is an update 3mo. Iater. "My Advice to any new patients is to be careful, if you go for one thing make sure you don't end up getting some type of surgery or procedure that you don't know you need without getting a second opinion"
Please ask questions! In my case the doctor nor the staff would not even tell me the office visit cost!! Be very alert and listen carefully. Going to this doctor has been the worst and stressful experience I have ever had going to a doctor and I am still trying to get over it!

He is the best interventional cardiologist I know. I had a heart cath done twice by him and he a very professional and pleasant person who explained everything to me in detail. I did not feel any pain or had any recollection of the procedure afterwards. At that time I thought it was normal, but when I had another heart cath done today by a different cardiologist, it was very painful and I was alert throughout the procedure due to lack of pain medication. I really missed Dr. Zia Khan today, I would recommend him anytime to anyone.

The staff and Dr Khan treat you like family. I had problems walking and blood pressure. When Doctor fixed the veins in my legs. I can walk a mile and don't get tired or shortness of breath. I thank God for doctors like him he gave me life back. Now i can do thing with my grandkids I couldn’t do before. Thank you Dr.Zia Khan for all you do. I recommend you to all my friends

Hear ye, hear ye, all u chronic angina sufferers! Are u of always getting the run around, or always being told; "Sorry, we're booked up till Sept."? Is angina crippling ur life?
Well, I've experienced those same disappointing brush-offs.
But I have discovered a 5-star
Cardiologist office: Zia Khan. It was his asst: Jeff, to save me from my chest pains. He'd see me in appt within 2-3days, not months or weeks. He thoroughly assessed/tested me, came u w the right medical cocktail to abolish the angina.
HE HAVE ME MY LIFE BACK!
My mother had 3 stents put in her heart 2 months ago, and hadn't C/O any chest pains since. Hallelujah! Got angina?

Poor staff, I have tried to get my results of tests done over 30 days. They say someone will return my calls but never do then lie by saying they called back. Sorry cell phones DON'T lie. I would suggest if you have a serious heart problem go elsewhere before it's too late!

Staff is very misinformed. Lots of miscommunication making more work for patient. Recommended unnessessary tests even though EKG was normal. Said follow up test were preventative and they actually were not. Will not go back.

For three years I suffered with heart problems and neuropathy and a list of crazy symptoms. I was in the ER several times and no one could figure out what was wrong, take me seriously, or help me. Dr. Khan was the first doctor out of about 12 to really listen and try to figure out what was wrong. He found I had some severe neuropathy and my heart was pausing frequently. These never came up on the two second ekgs they gave me in the ERs or quick cares. His findings were what lead other doctors to finally test me for Lyme disease. Turns out I had Lyme and after treatment, my heart went back to normal and my life went back to normal. I am forever grateful. If it wasn’t for him listening and not writing me off as a overworked housewife, I probably would have died. Thank you Dr Khan for listening to me even though my symptoms and stories sounded crazy.

While well intentioned, his bedside manners are lacking in patient empathy and his office time for questions about your results are often hurried and I felt like I was an imposition to him. I recommend a second opinion if diagnosed with a severe heart condition.
We all make mistakes, even the best of all professions but it takes humility to rectify the misdiagnosis. I am in no way attempting to disparage Dr Kahn for he is a great guy with his heart in the right place. This is an honest assessment and I am sure he will understand my frustration.

My whole family goes to Dr.Khan .. hes caring, professional , and listens ... not kidding my whole family my daughter, me, my husband and Mother - we’ve all seen him for something and my daughter goes to him regularly because she trusts him with a chronic issue . I will agree they need better time management there are times with long waits . They should try calling the patient and giving them an option to reschedule when they get backed up - it’s probably due to Emergencies but a patients time is valuable too. But his assistants are always kind and I really think he’s one of the best cardiologist in Vegas.

No respect for patients time.
1st visit one hour late.
2nd visit one hour late.
Both times I can hear discussions about weekend acactivities with staff. On 2 occasions staff was about to do procedures on the wrong foot.
3rd visit I asked them to let me know if he was going to be late, they did call me to say he was gonna be an hour late then they called me back when I was almost there to say hes gonna be another hour late and that is the straw the broke the camel's back. I asked them to call me back when I could get an appointment and Dr.khan would keep it more than 2 weeks has gone by and no phone calls. No respect for patients time.

Dr Kahn's office support team is totally incompetent so if you are going to use Kahn make sure you stay on top of insurance, medical files, appointments etc. as his staff will screw it all up. Good luck . Dr Kahn is otherwise a good Dr. Shame he tolerates poor performance by his staff
